A very welcoming place, carefully and stylishly furnished by the owners. Excellent service. The fixed menu includes 6 appetizers, 2 first courses, and a second course with side dish, dessert, and drinks included. The quality of the dishes is excellent, respecting the tradition of Piedmontese cuisine. Highly recommended. Well done!!!! Family-run restaurant.
We went for Boxing Day, and the menu was truly delicious, featuring typical Piedmontese cuisine (6 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 second course, and 1 dessert). The prices were more than fair, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. A truly comfortable place! (Advance booking is highly recommended.)
I've been going to this restaurant for years, and I have to say the food has always been excellent. The last time I went was on Sunday to celebrate three birthdays. My relatives were very pleased; everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the pasta: ravioli with ragù and taiarin with mushrooms, to the braised beef in Barolo, which was so tender it melted in your mouth. Delicious. And I also wanted to compliment the guys who served us; they were really good and never left anything missing from the table, from the wine 🍷 to the water. Next time, I hope to return to try their delicious fritto misto.
A place to eat is definitely a Piedmontese culture! I must say, everything was delicious, the classic appetizers, with a special mention for tagliatelle with mushrooms and ravioli. The braised meat was excellent, and the baked potatoes were delicious on the side. The desserts were just right, without being over the top! Well done!
Welcoming and friendly, it was a real pleasure to dine here. The food was excellent and the portions generous. The ravioli were exceptional, not to mention the flan with bagna cauda, and what can we say about the fried porcini mushrooms, the rabbit, and everything else. Overall, we left more than satisfied, not only with the food and the ambiance, but also with the very fair price. When we return to the Cuneo area, our first stop will be this restaurant in Peveragno.
Highly recommended! The owners are welcoming, professional, and available to meet their customers' every need. The waiters are extremely kind, professional, and attentive to their needs. Enchanting location A RARE and PRECIOUS opportunity to eat well and in abundance, even though I'm vegan and have a wheat and yeast intolerance: wonderful dishes, high quality and variety, local, and healthy. A must-visit place where we'll be happy to return.
Well...well... The extremely kind and witty host immediately puts you at ease. We went upstairs to a beautiful room, not overly large but very characteristic, rustic, and well-furnished. The waiter who served us deserves a special mention: professional, competent, and extremely attentive to our needs...truly excellent! The Piedmontese dishes, tradition on the table, like ancient recipes and even more, homemade pasta, exquisite desserts, and...vegetarian dishes available upon request! It's worth a visit, but...better to book, as it's very busy. I'm happy for them, it's all deserved.
After a couple of attempts to book, we finally managed to dine at this wonderful restaurant. Located in the Peveragno hills in a cool area, it has parking. The restaurant is charmingly furnished with paintings, antique tools, and other items, making it truly welcoming and very clean. The set menu (6 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 2 desserts, and coffee) is generous and the quality excellent.

Fantastic restaurant offering local produce. No menu but they will make you a dish if you can't eat their one. Friendly people and great value. You will need to book as very popular. Reconmend a visit.
Authentic Italian cuisine that doesn't cost too much. They describe it as like visiting your grandma on Sundays with so many foods prepared and your aunt or cousins serving them. Really feels like home.
Troviamo per caso questa location ! Che dire …. Piacevole sorpresa, ambiente piccolino ma molto caratteristico, molto gentile la cameriera…… e poi senza chiederci nulla( eccetto il vino) hanno inizia…
The restaurant is well-decorated, with period pieces. We had seven appetizers, two first and second courses, dessert, coffee, water, and a half-liter of Barbera on tap. We paid €55. Not bad. The place is comfortable and perfect for a quiet meal. The menu is Piedmontese, featuring local produce.

Situated in a small town in the hills of Piedmont, Osteria Dalla Badessa is a nice traditional Italian restaurant with good food and nice staff. With two levels and an outdoor terrace, this place is perfect for large groups. Oh and the cleanest rest rooms I've seen in Italy in almost 20 years.

We've been here several times for dinner and lunch, and the food and service have always been excellent. Last night, we were disappointed...dinner was served on the fly, so you don't have time to eat one course before the next one arrives. The price is high compared to the dinner.
I've been to this restaurant several times, with friends or family, and I've always had a great time. Last night I returned with a group of friends for "mushroom evening." Everyone was very excited about the dinner, as it's a food we love but eat sporadically. Unfortunately, we were greatly disappointed. The quality of the food is always excellent, but we left feeling very dissatisfied due to the extremely small portions. After five mushroom appetizers, each portioned in small portions, plus a few slices of cooked salami, they brought us the mushroom tajarin, delicious but in a limited quantity. Then, we eagerly awaited the main course... the fried mushrooms. The waitress made a first pass, placing three small slices on each plate, then went through another three passes, placing one small slice of mushroom on each plate. We found this way of serving just one slice of food to be truly disgusting, and it was also unfortunate to leave without having satisfied our appetite! Especially considering the very respectable price of €40. Last year, we ate an excellent Piedmontese-style fritto misto, fantastic in every way. What a shame!
We have been coming here once a year for the last five years. While the outstanding quality of the food & wine never ceases to amaze us, unfortunately the portions have become increasingly smaller over the last few years, while prices are increasing. Years ago you were able to get seconds of literally everything: appetizers, primo di pasta and also the second courses of meat, then there was cheese platters and then a tris of desserts, plus coffee and liquor and liquor soaked sugar cubes afterwards. Yesterday we got one smaller portion of each starter, never got seconds even though we would have liked them, had to wait a long time for the first pasta and had to specifically ask the server for the second pasta. Although there was two choices of seconds, we were only brought one and couldn’t even ask for the second because the server cleared our plates. Now you also have to choose a dessert even though just last year everyone was given a little bit of each. Cheese platters are not offered anymore. It seems the rations have decreased drastically and the service is also not what it used to be. We used to come here and we’re unable to eat all that they offered but if something was especially tasty you could go for seconds. Yesterday was good, but we were hardly as full as we used to be and didn’t get a chance to eat more of what we liked. However the high quality of the food has never changed! But the portion size and prices did and it left a small sad aftertaste unfortunately…
