I had breakfast here this morning and then took a stroll around the antique market... I ordered and sat down outside where in a few minutes they brought us an excellent cappuccino and a delicious brioche... the quality/price ratio is excellent and the service is quick, kind and friendly... I recommend it 👍

I almost never leave reviews, but in this case we were truly shocked. We hadn't even sat down before they asked us what we wanted, so we didn't see a price list, but for a simple breakfast, we figured it wasn't a big deal. We ordered a macchiato, a cappuccino, and two jam-filled croissants, which unfortunately weren't even that great. We went to pay, and we ended up spending over €7. It's absurd, we're locals and have had breakfast practically everywhere, even at places with a sea view that could have charged more, and we've never paid more than €5.50 for a simple breakfast. Don't overcharge; it's more of a suggestion than a criticism, because not everyone is a tourist, and you risk the locals going elsewhere. In response to the owner's reply: First, the macchiato was listed for €2 on the receipt, not €1.50, which I wouldn't have had any complaints about. Second, being quick is one thing, but asking for orders when people haven't even sat down yet is another. Third, I could give you an endless list of bars in Albenga, between the seaside and the historic center, where two cappuccinos and two croissants are always around €5.50/€5.60 at most. Certainly never above €7 like at your place. Anyway, that's no problem; we don't want anything free, so much so that we've been here several times for aperitivo in the past and never complained. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck.

The place is stunning and the atmosphere is wonderful. However the ice cream wasn't good. Paying 6 euros for a cup with three flavors seems a bit excessive. The service was average

Nice bar but terrible service. We ordered two coffees, a decaf macchiato, a croissant, and a focaccia. After a long wait, they informed us that the focaccia was unavailable. Only one coffee arrived, and the decaf macchiato. We asked for milk and another coffee. The croissant arrived, but nothing to drink; we reminded them of the milk and the other coffee, but nothing arrived. The waitress was inattentive (and often busy checking her phone), and the service was forgettable. In response to your comment: I'm sorry, but I think you're referring to other customers; the incident you're talking about is completely unrelated to me. Thanks for your reply, anyway.

I tried a smoothie, and it was very watered down. It's a shame, considering it costs €4.50. This is a historic bar in Albenga, with a really cute outdoor terrace. Next time I'll stick to coffee 🥲
