Superb dishes, friendly service, home cooking style. The rabbit roulade is a must, and you should also try the budino (like a caramel panna cotta). Simple presentation but low prices. Dogs get a bowl of water!

This is true, genuine Italian food in a great atmosphere. It’s what you come to Italy for, family restaurant where the food is cooked by an 80+ nonna. It’s not food made for Instagram but made for taste. Amazing! The food is cheap and the place is packed with locals. Strong recommendation

The restaurant maintains a very simple yet welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and efficient. The dishes are very carefully prepared despite their simplicity, but you can taste the fresh ingredients. We had marinated anchovies (amazing) and swordfish carpaccio (excellent). The tagliolini with shellfish and vegetables are among the best I've ever eaten. The stewed squid with potatoes are simply perfect. What can I say... simply, it's definitely a place to return to and enjoy truly exquisite dishes. The price is right. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

Nel corso di una passeggiata ad Albenga, girando per stradine e vicoli del centro storico, abbiamo visto l'insegna della "Hosteria Sutta Ca". Vista l'ora, dopo aver letto le proposte del giorno, siamo entrati sperando di trovare un tavolo per due e ci è andata bene. L'ambiente a prima vista non cattura ma, dopo essere stati accolti, serviti e "sfamati", nei minuti trascorsi al suo interno, abbiamo respirato quell'aria semplice e accogliente che si trovava nella casa della vecchia zia o della nonna. In poco tempo, infatti, siamo stati serviti con semplicità, premura e attenzione per il cliente. Il cibo ha pienamente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative e alla fine anche il conto non è stato da meno. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo, anche per il vino, è stato più che soddisfacente. Un vecchia credenza alle nostre spalle ha accompagnato la nostra presenza durante il pasto e tutto, grazie anche alla disposizione dei tavoli ben distanziati, ha contribuito veramente a rendere il nostro pranzo un pranzo "sutta ca' ", come da amici. L’osteria che negli anni e rimasta uguale e tale con lo stesso menu ,lo stesso modo di presentare i piatti,una certezza. Cibo casereccio 2 sale una trentina di posti . Prenotazione da fare assolutamente.da consigliare assolutamente

A welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of grandma's house. Large, well-placed tables with plenty of space between them. Excellent homemade cuisine with well-balanced flavors; the menu changes daily. Great value. Definitely try the cod, tiramisu, and basanotto (a liqueur made with basil, sage, and chinotto).

Recommended! We ate for 5 and spent €110. Excellent service. We started with a small appetizer offered by the house, featuring vegetables and puff pastry. The first courses were delicious, especially the lasagna with pesto and shellfish! For the second course, the cuttlefish with mushrooms and potatoes were exquisite. The anchovies and salmon were also very tasty. The homemade desserts were appreciated! In conclusion, a must try!

Buono, ma niente di così buono da farti desiderare di ritornare. Preso delle lasagnette con verdure e gamberetti e delle acciughe marinate. Servizio non classificabile, la signora che mi ha servito era inespressiva. È avvenuta anche una discussione in cucina poco piacevole da udirsi. Il giudizio è comunque positivo.

Il menu proposto è ottimo per i primi, non particolarmente ricco come secondi comunque meglio fare poche cose e bene. Cucina Ligure casalinga con ingredienti semplici e freschi tradizione gusto e leggerezza. La proposta di vini Liguri anche in mezze bottiglie é buona. Piatti consigliati: Buridda ottima, unica nota negativa il vitello tonnato, la salsa non deve essere maionese, altrimenti non si chiamerebbe vitello tonnato..... comunque uno sbaglio ci può stare. Ci torneremo sicuramente per poterlo valutare appieno, per il prezzo più che onesto.

Based on reviews saying this is a local spot (which appear to be true as the restaurant was full of locals), we visited hoping for a simple meal. Unfortunately, the only delicious item was a soft sheep cheese that came with the tomato/rucola salad. I ordered some pasta meant to be served with zucchini, aubergine, fresh tomato, and shrimp+prawns - but it came with no aubergine and mussels + calamari instead (an unpleasant surprise for me). The pasta itself was quite soggy (even for fresh pasta) and the sauce was incredibly salty, not to mention that the few shrimp included tasted frozen/not fresh (I tried one and it was not good) - ultimately I was unable to eat the dish. I left the restaurant almost as hungry as I arrived. I did inform the waitstaff but they were not very sympathetic (I was not offered a replacement meal nor did they offer to remove the dish from the bill). I was pretty disappointed with this culinary experience, even though it appears that local residents adore this place and the wait staff seemed nice overall. Personally, however, I would never return here for any reason.

Strange experience... We walk in, two people, restaurant looks half empty. Wait 5 minutes at the counter, the waiter passes me three times, looking right through me. I try to catch his attention, ingores me. In the end we just left.
