È da un po che cercavo un posto così e l'ho trovato per caso..Tra tanti venditori di fumo ecco invece un locale semplice,accogliente e pulito dove, come suggerisce il nome, sembra proprio di mangiare a casa, in famiglia. Piatti tradizionali,semplici e buoni..ad un prezzo introvabile in Liguria..
Incredibile trovare un posto così onesto e genuino nel pieno centro storico di Albenga!!! Il menù del giorno è scritto sulla lavagnetta, con pochi piatti che rispecchiano la freschezza degli ingredienti e la tipicità della cucina ligure. Da non perdere: ravioli alla borragine col ragù o con rosmarino e parmigiano, tagliolini alle verdure e crostacei e alla sanremasca (pomodoro, pesto e olive:un’esplosione di gusto!) poi il coniglio alla ligure con le patate al forno (🔝) e, a chi piace questo gusto deciso, la Buridda di stoccafisso. La carta dei vini invece è ancora più ricca del menù ed abbiamo potuto scegliere un ottimo Rossese di Dolceacqua superiore, veramente ottimo! L’ambiente è quello semplice e rustico di una osteria a conduzione familiare e la gentilezza e la cortesia dei proprietari è disarmante: sempre pronti ad accogliere ogni richiesta fino addirittura a farci provare un assaggio dei tre dolci (torta di mele, torta rustica e tiramisù) xchè eravamo troppo indecisi! Infine… la cigliegina sulla torta? Il conto: 70€ per una cena completa e abbondante per 2 e con un ottimo vino! Se siete in zona non fatevi mancare questa osteria: non rimarrete delusi!
Osteria con cucina casalinga, in pieno centro storico. Menù non eccessivamente articolato ma ogni cosa preparata con cura e secondo tradizione. Personale gentile e disponibile. Prezzi più che onesti per un pranzo sano e leggero. Consigliato
Passeggiando per il centro storico di Albenga ci siamo ritrovati in questa osteria. Senza aver prenotato ci hanno comunque dato un tavolo. Abbiamo preso 2 primi molto buoni, dal sapore semplice e genuino come in casa. Secondo di pesce anche questo molto buono. Vino Pigato molto buono. Prezzo onestissimo e porzioni abbondanti. Torneremo sicuramente.
Piccola trattoria nel centro storico di Albenga che propone piatti tipici liguri. Piatti genuini e ben fatti, servizio gentile e molto veloce. Rapporto qualità prezzo davvero buono! Posto da provare

Un lunedì freddo di novembre, nessuno in giro, ma qui no: qui ci sono tutti i tavoli occupati! Perché cosa c'è di meglio che andare a mangiare qualcosa di buono e semplice ma cucinato magistralmente e con amore in un ambiente dove ti sembra di essere in famiglia? Una cosa è certa: ci tornerò sicuramente. E per essere sicura di trovare posto prenoterò per tempo!
Osteria situata nel gradevole centro storico di Albenga. Abbiamo gustato dei piatti tradizionali, ben eseguiti e gustosi, accompagnati da un buon calice di vino. Servizio veloce e cordiale. Rapporto qualità/prezzo adeguato.
I'm pleased to review this typical Ligurian trattoria, where my wife and I have been a few times. Excellent food, homemade pasta, very fair prices, and as the name suggests, a no-frills, no-frills place that focuses on the essentials. They say Ligurians aren't hospitable: that's not true!! When you go to someone else's home, knock before entering and you'll see you'll be welcomed without hesitation. We'll be back because it's become a regular stop. Centrally located, but with very close parking because it's just outside the city walls. It's a typical, simple but well-kept osteria that gets to the point. I really enjoyed the food, and the value for money was reasonable. We had two starters, two main courses, two desserts, two coffees, and a half bottle of wine, and we spent €33 each.

Since 2019, we've been able to eat en route to Frejus Saint Raphael, for dinner on Fridays in the summer or lunch on Saturdays. The best cook, and therefore the best meals from the beautiful villa.
Excellent experience. A small restaurant serving typical Ligurian dishes, tasty and carefully prepared. We ate very well and spent the right amount. An experience to repeat.
A wonderful discovery... the owners and chefs are two people in their late 90s who are passionate about cooking and are incredibly kind. We had a wonderful time and ate truly, truly delicious! Highly recommended!
The two meals we enjoyed here while on a visit to Albenga recently shine in our memory. An introduction to authentic Ligurian cuisine of the highest quality. The menu changes daily and everything we tried was good. Now we’re back in London we dream of returning and think Albenga residents very lucky to have somewhere so special. Superb dishes, friendly service, home cooking style. The rabbit roulade is a must, and you should also try the budino (like a caramel panna cotta). Simple presentation but low prices. Dogs get a bowl of water!
This is true, genuine Italian food in a great atmosphere. It’s what you come to Italy for, family restaurant where the food is cooked by an 80+ nonna. It’s not food made for Instagram but made for taste. Amazing! The food is cheap and the place is packed with locals. Strong recommendation
The restaurant maintains a very simple yet welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and efficient. The dishes are very carefully prepared despite their simplicity, but you can taste the fresh ingredients. We had marinated anchovies (amazing) and swordfish carpaccio (excellent). The tagliolini with shellfish and vegetables are among the best I've ever eaten. The stewed squid with potatoes are simply perfect. What can I say... simply, it's definitely a place to return to and enjoy truly exquisite dishes. The price is right. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

Nel corso di una passeggiata ad Albenga, girando per stradine e vicoli del centro storico, abbiamo visto l'insegna della "Hosteria Sutta Ca". Vista l'ora, dopo aver letto le proposte del giorno, siamo entrati sperando di trovare un tavolo per due e ci è andata bene. L'ambiente a prima vista non cattura ma, dopo essere stati accolti, serviti e "sfamati", nei minuti trascorsi al suo interno, abbiamo respirato quell'aria semplice e accogliente che si trovava nella casa della vecchia zia o della nonna. In poco tempo, infatti, siamo stati serviti con semplicità, premura e attenzione per il cliente. Il cibo ha pienamente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative e alla fine anche il conto non è stato da meno. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo, anche per il vino, è stato più che soddisfacente. Un vecchia credenza alle nostre spalle ha accompagnato la nostra presenza durante il pasto e tutto, grazie anche alla disposizione dei tavoli ben distanziati, ha contribuito veramente a rendere il nostro pranzo un pranzo "sutta ca' ", come da amici. L’osteria che negli anni e rimasta uguale e tale con lo stesso menu ,lo stesso modo di presentare i piatti,una certezza. Cibo casereccio 2 sale una trentina di posti . Prenotazione da fare assolutamente.da consigliare assolutamente
A welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of grandma's house. Large, well-placed tables with plenty of space between them. Excellent homemade cuisine with well-balanced flavors; the menu changes daily. Great value. Definitely try the cod, tiramisu, and basanotto (a liqueur made with basil, sage, and chinotto).
Recommended! We ate for 5 and spent €110. Excellent service. We started with a small appetizer offered by the house, featuring vegetables and puff pastry. The first courses were delicious, especially the lasagna with pesto and shellfish! For the second course, the cuttlefish with mushrooms and potatoes were exquisite. The anchovies and salmon were also very tasty. The homemade desserts were appreciated! In conclusion, a must try!
Buono, ma niente di così buono da farti desiderare di ritornare. Preso delle lasagnette con verdure e gamberetti e delle acciughe marinate. Servizio non classificabile, la signora che mi ha servito era inespressiva. È avvenuta anche una discussione in cucina poco piacevole da udirsi. Il giudizio è comunque positivo.
Il menu proposto è ottimo per i primi, non particolarmente ricco come secondi comunque meglio fare poche cose e bene. Cucina Ligure casalinga con ingredienti semplici e freschi tradizione gusto e leggerezza. La proposta di vini Liguri anche in mezze bottiglie é buona. Piatti consigliati: Buridda ottima, unica nota negativa il vitello tonnato, la salsa non deve essere maionese, altrimenti non si chiamerebbe vitello tonnato..... comunque uno sbaglio ci può stare. Ci torneremo sicuramente per poterlo valutare appieno, per il prezzo più che onesto.
Nothing special
Based on reviews saying this is a local spot (which appear to be true as the restaurant was full of locals), we visited hoping for a simple meal. Unfortunately, the only delicious item was a soft sheep cheese that came with the tomato/rucola salad. I ordered some pasta meant to be served with zucchini, aubergine, fresh tomato, and shrimp+prawns - but it came with no aubergine and mussels + calamari instead (an unpleasant surprise for me). The pasta itself was quite soggy (even for fresh pasta) and the sauce was incredibly salty, not to mention that the few shrimp included tasted frozen/not fresh (I tried one and it was not good) - ultimately I was unable to eat the dish. I left the restaurant almost as hungry as I arrived. I did inform the waitstaff but they were not very sympathetic (I was not offered a replacement meal nor did they offer to remove the dish from the bill). I was pretty disappointed with this culinary experience, even though it appears that local residents adore this place and the wait staff seemed nice overall. Personally, however, I would never return here for any reason.
Strange experience... We walk in, two people, restaurant looks half empty. Wait 5 minutes at the counter, the waiter passes me three times, looking right through me. I try to catch his attention, ingores me. In the end we just left.
