L’Angolino è uno di quei ristoranti di Viareggio che non cercano effetti speciali ma puntano dritti al cuore: cucina di mare autentica, atmosfera familiare e grande rispetto per la materia prima. Il pesce è il vero protagonista. Fresco, ben trattato e cucinato in modo semplice, come vuole la tradizione versiliese. Ottimi gli antipasti di mare (crudi e cotti, quando disponibili), molto apprezzati i primi – spaghetti allo scoglio, vongole, arselle e i secondi alla griglia o al forno, dove si sente la qualità del prodotto senza coperture inutili. Le porzioni sono generose, cosa ormai rara.
Cibo di alta qualità, buonissimo e abbondante nelle porzioni. Personale molto gentile ed educato. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto che, seppur buonissimo, si è rivelato più piccante del previsto, dunque ne abbiamo, a malincuore, avanzato circa metà porzione. Il costo del piatto non ci è stato addebitato. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo questo gesto dato che è comunque stato un "errore" nostro non chiedere informazioni sulla piccantezza del piatto e comunque tutto legato a un gusto soggettivo. Anche al di là di questo apprezzatissimo gesto, consigliamo veramente questo locale per l'ottimo cibo, prezzi giusti e il personale gentilissimo. Abbiamo speso 68 euro, a cui aggiungere circa 18-20 euro, per un antipasto, un primo, un secondo, due calici di vino, due dolci e un caffè. Tutto ottimo.
Attratti dalle numerose recensioni positive, abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante e non siamo rimasti delusi. La location è carina, il servizio preciso e veloce. I piatti erano davvero buoni e il prezzo ottimo. Una cosa che per me è davvero importante è che non fanno pagare il coperto: bravi! Ci tornerò sicuramente.
Abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria in un angolino a pochi passi dalla passeggiata. Qualità della materia prima eccellente, il menu cambia tutte le settimane, pochi piatti quindi curati. Il riisotto era uno dei piu buoni che io abbia mai mangiato, il fritto di pesce ottimo e la pasta fresca alle arselle molto buona, forse solo un pochino troppo olio ma comunque ottima. Anche i dolci hanno superato le aspettative, veramente una delizia. Una buona scelta per la carta dei vini. Servizio attento e veloce. Rapporto qualità prezzo più che buono. Lo consiglio a chi cerca la qualità e non la solita trattoria per turisti.
Consigliatoci dalla signora del B&B Villa Giulia , questo ristorante è stata una bella scoperta. A pochi passi dal centro ma in una via tranquilla, piccolo locale con Dehor esterno . Abbiamo cenato all’interno , non amo gli esterni , ambiente pulito , tavoli ben distanziati apparecchiatura semplice . Ho condiviso un loro antipasto misto , veramente eccellente. Ottime le tagliatelle con le arselle / telline già sgusciate . Buono il dolce . Prezzi corretti, qualità alta servizio cordiale e dai giusti tempi . Obbligatoria la prenotazione a mio modesto parere. 😎 Bravi 👏

La prima volta che venivamo. Il proprietario (e cuoco), giovane trentenne, con tanto amore per il proprio lavoro, un menù che cambia ogni settimana, per proporre sempre piatti diversi e permettere anche a lui stesso di sbizzarrirsi con la cucina: pesce freschissimo, piatti originali, un po' diversi dai classici che si trovano in molti ristoranti. Un ambiente molto accogliente, ed un personale gentilissimo e professionale, che cerca sempre di farti sentire a proprio agio. Direi che per noi è stata una splendida scoperta. Torneremo sicuramente. Ci sono stata oggi con il mio ragazzo, 10 su 10, dalla gentilezza al cibo. Tutto quanto era buono, fresco pulito e soprattutto molto tranquillo per chi voglia mangiare in tranquillità nel casino che ci sta nel lungo mare di Viareggio. isacco deduco sia lo chef, quindi complimenti a tutto lo staff, ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
Siamo stati a pranzo domenica, molto buono tutto e soprattutto complimenti al proprietario molto giovane ma con una grande organizzazione e gradevole educazione. 2 abbondanti antipasti 2 secondi eccezionali e una bottiglia di bollicine.. prezzo buono considerato che il pesce è veramente top! Partiti da Barberino di Mugello per fare una passeggiata al mare, avevamo prenotato leggendo le numerose buone recensioni. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti: posto molto carino, ci hanno dato un tavolino per due in veranda perfettamente riscaldata e confortevole, personale giovane, attento, cortese, professionale, abbiamo preso antipasto, vario e delizioso, e frittura di pesce e vino. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è alto. Porzioni generose , giuste. Giovanissimo il proprietario e chef. Ottima esperienza, sicuramente torneremo.
Prima e sicuramente non ultima volta, pranzo delizioso dagli antipasti misti al dolce. Pesce fresco e saputo cucinare, hanno divorato tutto anche i bimbi. Bellissima idea del fritto misto nella padella che lo mantiene caldo. Conclusione con dolci molto buoni. Bravi ragazzi a prestissimo!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante sabato 3 gennaio e abbiamo mangiato un primo piatto di pesce - gnocchetti con aragostella - tra i più memorabili che ricordi: perfetta la pasta, perfetto il sugo, perfetta l' aragostella (servita a metà nel piatto con il suo carapace, altra rarità). Anche la degustazione di antipasti ci ha lasciato veramente colpiti per la freschezza della materia prima e la sapiente preparazione. Completano il tutto il personale di sala, gentile e accogliente, nonché il giovane proprietario, veramente premuroso (abbiamo chiesto di essere spostati di tavolo ed ha fatto il possibile per accontentarci) e appassionato del suo lavoro. Assolutamente da provare!

We visited this seafood restaurant and were absolutely delighted. The food was simply amazing: fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. At first, the portions seemed a bit small, but in the end they turned out to be just right — perfectly balanced. The signature sauces for the seafood were especially impressive, with unexpected yet very harmonious flavors. Tip: make sure to book a table in advance, as the restaurant is quite popular. Luckily, the online reservation system is very convenient — quick and hassle-free. Definitely recommend!
L’Angolino was excellent. Wonderfully creative food based on excellent ingredients from the sea plus attentive service. We’ll look forward to dining here again on our next visit to Viareggio. If we’d appreciated earlier how appealing Viareggio would be and what a terrific food scene there is we would have driven over from Pietrasanta more often this month.
Found this fantastic place while searching for restaurant while sitting on the beach - what a find, sat outside in the covered street side dining room, small menu but everything we had was top class and the service was immaculate! Wish we were here longer as would have most definitely gone back for dinner!

Hand selected ingredients and care put into every dish. A memorable dining experience away from the main strip. The antipasti were spectacular and are worth a visit to Viareggio alone. The owner is passionate about his craft which is well represented in everything served including exquisite deserts and great wines. Truly a classic Tuscan seafood restaurant. Reservations are a must

Fantastic!!! Owner Ricardo opened 2 years ago, and his food, menu, service, staff, and cappuccino are absolutely fantastic. We got one of everything on the menu and there was nothing left on any plate! He even made a seafood-free pasta for one of our group with a shellfish allergy.
Wow… just wow … our dining experience here was amazing and delightful. First of all the service was excellent as our server was very friendly and attentive (🙏thanks🙏so much for tracking me down the street to bring me my iPhone that I forgot at our table). The food presentation was as wonderful as it was delicious. My seafood appetizer (primo piato) was very fresh and mouth wateringly delicious. My entree (secondo piato) was a delicious cod in a tomato based sauce with polenta and I would definitely order this again as it was so good. This was an excellent dining experience and I would highly recommend it!

This place is great, went there twice with my partner in September, we had the chance to experience many different plates since the restaurant changes the menu weekly. The owner is a young man who is very passionate, he will dedicate time to explain to you the various dishes present on the menu, which often include revisited local cuisine plates. Also the wine is pretty good, although there isn't much choice. The mixed entrées plate was a big favourite for me and my partner. Definitely give this restaurant a try. Prices are good as well. The staff deserves new clients!

What a discovery in Viareggio! A delicious and honest fish kitchen. The combination of the salty mussels finished with a slightly sweet garlic sauce was a wonderfully daring combination. The seafood linguine, an Italian classic, was delicioso!, the tuna tatiki was also wonderfull and tasty. This all thogetter with a great Pinot Blanco from Alto Adige copleets a great culinair experiance. Are we coming back! For sure!
A nice restaurant located just a short walk from the sea front. Very small and quiet, maybe more suited to couples and groups than families. Fritto Misto did not disappoint! Nice attention to detail in the restaurant.
The food was excellent. We had pasta with clam sauce, and mixed seafood grill. All dishes have a seafood content. The seafood was very fresh.
