Otto Tomotto's Shrimp and Bacon Risotto is a delicious and inventive dish that is sure to please any seafood lover. The portion size is generous, providing a satisfying meal without feeling heavy. The risotto has a rich and creamy texture that is spot on. The Arborio rice is cooked to perfection, and offered just the right amount of bite while still being creamy and smooth. The addition of shrimp brings a delightful seafood taste to the dish, with each piece cooked to perfection. Bacon adds a smoky and savory element that complements the seafood flavors surprisingly well. The combination of these ingredients creates a harmonious blend of flavors that left me craving more. The dish has a subtle hint of garlic and herbs, enhancing the overall taste without overpowering the delicate flavors of the shrimp and bacon. It was evident that the chef paid attention to every detail, resulting in a dish that was thoughtfully crafted.
Pleasantly surprised at how healthy and delicious the menu options are! Fun and clean atmosphere. Friendly staff
I knew walking in and smelling the tomato sauce and experiencing the lovely, fakily-friendly atmosphere that this was going to be a great night! Have dined here before and it's always a great experience. Delicious food (I ordered the eggplant parmigiana). We had a wonderful, fun, attentive server. Good time had by all!
This is my new favorite restaurant! We met family for a late evening dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. Portions were generous. Our waitress made sure our water glasses were always full. Tables are far enough apart that conversation was easy. So many traditional and unique choices. They also have a party room for larger groups. One of our party eats gluten free and there were many entrees to choose from, because they can customize.
Wonderful food. My family has goes here a few times a year. I don't remember anyone ever getting a bad meal. It's not the cheapest, but it's quality food.
We had use of the private party room. Chicken was tender, yet the meatballs were my favorite! Great service for the group!
This was so amazing the food and the atmosphere everyone was awesome I got a appetizer 2 entrees and a dessert. I got the mozzarella bread stuff which was so good. The entrees I got was the carbonara and the 16oz steak and the we got there bills themed dessert. My brother got the clam pie which I tried and wasn't bad. The bread and butter at the beginning was so good and the garlic taste to the butter was a nice surprise. I will for be going back.
Oh my goodness-I found a new place I love! Otto Tomatto's! I had the Seafood Pesto, and my husband had the C-food Medley. They were both seriously delicious!! We got a dessert to go because I had never heard of Tubolare before. I had no idea what I was missing! Suffice it to say, we'll be returning!
Long time patron, but haven’t been since Otto’s moved into the bigger space. Had a quick dinner with a friend because we were too tired to cook and she had never been before. It was excellent. It was a quiet night and we came in only an hour before they close. We still had good service and a delicious meal. It’s nice to see how Otto’s has grown and evolved since it was first opened. My friend and I were both employees at the Victor TGIF, and I remember when the owner used to stop into TGIF after closing all those years ago.
My wife and I were greeted by a very friendly staff member and seated and asked if we had been there before we had not so he proceeded to inform us of menu items very helpful brought fresh bread to table and was also very helpful with our ordering we will definitely return.......ps food was awesome
Went for lunch with my family. This place had alot of people recommending it. The inside was very nice, the food was average and the staff did not seem like the wanted to be there for a lunch crowd. Would not go back. The food was fine but did not wow me enough to want to make a second trip back.
Otto Tomotto’s has been recommended to us by a few family members, so we were looking forward to trying it. The atmosphere was lovely, the people were nice, and the food was good. I did also like the amount of options on the menu. The food was a little pricey though, so I don’t know if I would recommend it over my other local favorites like Prosseco. The big plus is that they have a more family centric restaurant with a party room. First, the food was good. My wife tried the Tortellini Pomodoro, which was delicious. I would absolutely recommend trying it if you like very thick, creamy pasta. I ordered the special intending to give that a review, but unfortunately they “literally just sold the last one” after I ordered it. Which was honestly very disappointing considering we were there at 6:30. The waiter recommended the Italian Fish Fry because it was similar, but fish instead of chicken. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it. It was extremely one note. The fish was pan fried and intended to be crispy, but it was soggy after sitting in the lemon butter sauce, which would be fine, if the sauce wasn’t basically lemon juice. All I tasted the entire time I ate was lemon juice. I didn’t taste any other flavors, just lemon. If I hadn’t eaten some of the pomodoro my wife ordered I would have given the food 2 stars. We did try the cannolis, which we usually try at most Italian restaurants. And we did enjoy them. I felt they were worth the $7 for 2. Unfortunately, I can’t review the salad because despite ordering it before our meal we never got it. It was only $2.50 for an add on salad, but we were disappointed that we had to let the waiter know we never received it. I do want to mention that they do serve bread and it’s a nice Italian bread with a garlic butter that we did enjoy. The atmosphere was comfortable. I liked the decor, but I don’t like restaurants that use paper to protect their table cloths. That’s just a personal preference. Overall, I might give Otto tomotto’s another try sometime in the future, but it wasn’t my favorite place.
We had the complimentary bread, ordered the calamari and two bolognese dishes (one red sauce and one Rosa sauce). The bread was alright but seems like it had been sitting for a while.. the calamari was chewy and lukewarm as well.. and both of our pasta dishes had an abnormally EXCESSIVE amount of cheese on them (see the photos). Eventually I added chilli flakes and took off as much cheese I could from my red sauce dish - this tasted SO much better! So the sauces were fine, but the cheese just overpowered the dish. That being said, although the portions were a good size, for the flavours and the quality of the dishes it really shouldn't be so expensive... Overall, an "okay" experience. I must say the staff were very friendly and gave us great service. Thank you for your service :)
Not bad, but I have had better Italian food elsewhere. Some dishes are excellent like the green and beans with sausage. The Red Marinara sauce is too bland, needs a little more Italian spices. The Vodka sauce needs help because taste like Alfredo. Overall a good place to try and I hope they keep improving.
I ordered the artichoke French appetizer, it definitely wasn’t that great and I personally because it’s almost as close, the prices are comparable and the portion sizes at Proseccos are twice the size, will not being going back there again. I can’t imagine how hard it is to run a restaurant, but if you are going to try to complete with another restaurant less than 5 miles away, you should maybe check out your competition.. taste their food, see their portions. I was really looking forward to trying their food but I was not impressed, I will not be a returning customer.
Overall this place has Olive Garden vibes without the soup and salad and even higher prices. Service was fast and attentive. Drinks and appetizers were served shortly after ordering. The entrees left something to be desired. The “seafood tomatto” was a soup of sauce with linguine and four shrimp and three scallops. Not worth the price of $25.00. My partner’s dish was served with a mess of “deep fried spaghetti” on top. We had to let the oily mess of that sit on the table during our meal.
4th time taking the family there- it’s been hit or miss each time, but this was bad. We were seated- then told that our specific table was reserved by someone else in an hour so we needed to be finished by then. The waiter said multiple times that he was flustered someone sat us there and he was thrown off his “game” My kids got the kids pasta with meatball- pasta came out, no meatballs and my daughters pasta was wrong My wife’s food came out with a hair in it- I picked the hair out in front of the server and put it on a napkin. No “I’m sorry” no “let’s get that replaced”… and my meal had so much thyme (spice) in it I didn’t even eat it. Literally left two fulls meals on the table. But I made sure we were out of there right on time at 6:20 for you guys :)
This is my first bad rating for anything ever but this one IS WELL DESERVED!!! Third time in a row they put croutons on my wife salad who has a gluten allergy and she told them nicely they made a mistake last time we ordered. They respond by taking it back to make a “new salad” both ends of every piece of lettuce was brown and this is unsanitary. As a chef or a cook or a manager or anyone with any common sense should know this is 100% unsatisfactory. We are very disappointed because we enjoy supporting mom and pop businesses. They need to get it together and they also need to refund me my money.
