Enjoyed a nice late breakfast/brunch here with friends. The breakfast sandwiches and frittata on toast were all delicious. They also make very nice lattes and other coffee/tea beverages.

This place has the best lunch in skan HANDS down. Everything is homemade. The Italian sandwich bread is so doughey and thick, I wish I could eat it everyday. The salad lettuce is consistently crisp and crunchy. The doughnut was also incredible. Go here!

The Gingersnaps cookies are to die for! Upset I only bought one. I wish I had a lifetime unlimited supply for these cookies. The staff are also very nice. Great service, great baked goods, what more can you ask for?

Incredible bakery. The staff is so helpful. Honestly, they made a couple random mistakes with our order, but when I mentioned them, they went above and beyond to rectify. It would be sad to visit Skaneateles and not visit this bakery.

We HAD to try all the bakeries in town. This one did not disappoint. Had hot chocolate, which was real chocolate, not a powder mix. It was also beautifully presented! Various cake donuts, all freshly made, moist and delicious! We also shared a breakfast sandwich on a chibatta roll. Sausage, egg and cheese were all yummy, but the roll was to die for. Oh and the service was friendly with a smile :) A+

My wife loves this place. She got a turkey sandwich and I got the Buffalo chicken and they were just amazing watering in the mouth..she also loves the pumpkin cream cookies! Our son got the grilled cheese sandwich never had one in his life and he loved it! Very excellent place!

My husband and I are massage therapists, we do work in Skaneatles sometimes. We have found delicious egg, cheese and bacon sandwiches, and a delicious cup of coffee.Even in the bustle of the morning, the customer service is always friendly. We have not tried other things but their lunch sandwiches & salads and fresh baked goods look tantalizing.

We arrived Labor Day weekend and the line was down the street but you can order ahead. There is some seating inside which we used when we went there after the holiday weekend was over. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, the ciabatta bread was so fresh and warm, and we asked for goat cheese on our sandwiches. The coffee is good too.

Such a cute lil bakery! A small but nice array of sweets. The lighter lunches are just perfect too. The curried chicken salad is a nice twist and the chicken was in chunks. A pleasant texture. Coffee is good and not bad by any stretch but not their focus I’d say. The gluten free bread in my opinion was the star of my experience. It was delicious and had some rise and squish to it. Not crumbly at all. I was surprised it was so good especially since they didn’t advertise the option, I found by asking. Definitely recommend. It such a cute atmosphere and you can tell they are loved because they are busy. The staff works hard all very kind!

My girlfriend and I visited a couple bakeries in the area and they have all been great, and this one stood up to the expectations as well. It’s a very cute little setup, they offer a lot of different options from hot and cold drinks to bakery breakfast and lunch options. They were giving out free donuts and they were very good. We got a croissant and a cinnamon bun for 10$ and two free donuts. We will definitely be coming back.

Searched for a cappuccino in Skaneateles and fell in love with this bakery. Best blueberry scone EVER and absolutely loved my husband’s chili spiced mocha latte. My latte was excellent too. Going back tomorrow!!!

One other reason to visite this beautiful little village is this Bakery. Best breakfast ever Egg and cheese on home made chiabata Veggie white Smoked Turkey donuts are very very delicious. Served in perfect way with big smile in everyone behind counter. Third time here so far ❤️

We felt lucky to find this place while we were waiting for businesses to open. The place was very busy, people grabbing to take out or sitting for a quick breakfast. The coffee was excellent, especially since I found very little drinkable coffee in that area. The bakery treats looked really good & there was variety on the menu.

The food was delicious. We both got breakfast sandwiches and they were very good. The drinks were good but nothing amazing. I would definitely go again for light brunch and some quick coffee.

It was recommended to me that I stop at Skaneateles Bakery while I was in that area during my travels. I got a coffee and a pastry and they were both delicious. I also ask for any recommendations on what I should see while I was in the area. I was told about Carpenter falls which did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and very responsive to all their patrons.

AMAZING! We ate breakfast AND lunch here. We got a hot chai and an assortment of pastries and they did not disappoint. The chai was hot and sweet as expected and the fruit granola bar as well as S the cider were incredibly homemade tasting and fresh and soft. I also snagged a yogurt parfait and the blueberry compote they put into as well as the huge chunks of honey drizzled granola were just perfect! For lunch we got some sandwiches. The curry chicken is wonderful and delicious. Got it on the marbled rye and added bacon for fun and it hit the spot! My husband grabbed a chicken pesto and raved about it the whole time we ate. We felt welcome and comfortable and had such a good time!

Absolutely love Skaneateles Bakery!!! We’ve been going for years for the breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee, and last year we decided to have them provide a dessert bar for our wedding! Chris and the team were extremely professional and responsive, made the whole thing SO easy (including extremely smooth delivery to our venue), and made THE BEST desserts we could ask for. We got a boatload of cupcakes (vanilla, chocolate, and carrot), Vienna swirls, macarons, some cookies, and of course a cake. Our guests loved every single item, the cake was exactly what we wanted, and I cannot recommend them highly enough for anything from a wedding to a great breakfast by the lake!!

Took a mini day trip to Skaneateles to enjoy the 70° sunny weather! We walked along Jordan Street and decided to stop by the bakery for lunch. Although the line out the door looked intimidating, it’s only because they only allow about 6 people in the building at a time due to COVID. They had a good selection of pastries, sandwiches, and drinks - and for a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly - the cashier was patient when I asked for recommendations and the person calling out orders seemed to be very committed to quickly getting orders to customers. We ordered and got our food within 15 minutes. The overall atmosphere is very homey and definitely added to our experience in Skaneateles.

Great spot in town for coffee, food, and sweets. The donuts are fluffy cake donuts that are incredible. Not a big donut person but these were fabulous. It does get really crowded and closes by 3.

We went to this place for Father’s Day breakfast and it did not disappoint! We ordered 5 breakfast sandwiches (thought we received only 4, I let it slide because the place was busy and loud so I can understand how the server did not hear us) and they tasted excellent. I personally had the egg and cheese with chorizo and it was spot on! Later we went back and ordered drinks and desert. Let me tell you, it was delectable! The donuts are so soft and buttery and their half moon cookies are homemade so they taste infinitely better than store bought! And their iced tea…honestly I don’t have enough words to describe it, it was that good! I strongly suggest going here for breakfast and dessert!

This is such a cute bakery with delicious treats! I came here once when visiting the area. I also had this bakery provide desserts for my wedding which were such a hit. The owners are very kind and took the time to deliver to my wedding all the way in Geneva. 5/5 stars!

We love Skaneateles Bakery, also lots of sweet treat choices, good food and coffee. Always crowded during tourist season. Also good to order ahead on website and just sneak through the long lines and pick it up walk over and enjoys at the lake!

Visited late Saturday afternoon, so choices were more limited. We tried cupcakes, a cookie and a brownie. All were very good. Will definitely visit again if we're in the area.

I tried a sandwich and a chai. Both were very good. They seem to be very busy. You can order online ahead or at the counter. You can pick it up to go or sit and eat. It's a nice little Cafe for whatever you are looking for, a treat or something substantial.

This place is so cute! One of favorites places in Skaneateles to grab a breakfast sandwich. They also have THE BEST cinnamon rolls. You have to get there early to grab one though. The cinnamon rolls sell out fast!

We visited both days during our weekend stay in Skaneateles because there were just so many delicious items to try! I recommend the blueberry scone and the donuts. Expect a line out the door to order, but it moves quickly.

Happened upon this lovely bakery with great options for donuts, cookies, and cupcakes. They also have lunch items such as sandwiches and they have plenty of coffee and tea options to choose from. They had a coffee item on special with honey and an option called a chai-der or chai-cider which sounded delicious. Anyone visiting Skaneateles should stop here, there’s seating inside or you could take it to go. There’s also a restroom for customers.

We tried the carrot cake and red velvet cupcakes. They were both amazing, and the staff were friendly. The decor inside was nice, and we only wish we were able to try more things

Small town bakery. Try to get in earlier rather than later if possible because things sell out quickly! My favorites are the blueberry scone, macaroons, their homemade chicken salad, and the turkey sandwich. They also have great daily soups. It can be difficult to sit and eat because it is very small inside and is often crowded. Great coffee drinks, desserts, and meal options. Wish they had more seating area.

This time around at Skaneateles Bakery I decided to get a Buffalo Chicken Melt after viewing it on their online menu. I did not eat in house as it was fairly busy BUT I will say it was worth the wait. Their homemade bread is delicious! Perfectly pressed. I also ordered an iced latte (w/ oatmilk, cold foam & white chocolate syrup) which was amazing!! I did enjoy my GF rice krispy treat and my toddler enjoyed his half moon cookie. I highly recommend visiting the bakery when in Skaneateles. VERY busy on weekends but once again - they’re worth the wait!

A very popular and busy place to go. I really liked their regular drip coffee, orange cranberry scone, and blueberry muffin (no I didn't eat them both in one sitting lol). I sat for a while and read my book and enjoyed my morning coffee looking out at the beautiful town. I can't wait until Christmas time when I come back to visit for the towns display and to visit the bakery again.

I am stating the obvious to anyone who lives in town, but the Skaneateles bakery is AWESOME! I eat there at least three times a week and it is always consistently excellent. Great breakfast and lunch sandwiches, I am eating one as I write this. The bake goods are also excellent and the staff and owner Chris, who is usually there , are always very efficient and friendly. They are never understaffed and always smiling. We are very lucky to have such a great place in our village! Shout out to Alicia, and all the staff for always being so friendly no matter how busy they are! Looking forward to my next visit!!

This place is a gem! Came here for breakfast and left with one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. They pump out fresh cake donuts (plain, glazed, cinnamon glazed, choco sprinkles, coconut) and I truly don’t think you can go wrong. The cinnamon glazed donut was insane — I’m already planning to return tomorrow morning for breakfast to get two of that same donut. The cinnamon roll was light and fluffy. If the weather is nice, I recommend grab n go to enjoy your pastry across the street with a stunning view of Lake Skaneateles. Otherwise, there is indoor seating available. Don’t leave Skaneateles without making a stop here!

Place is so quant and nice. I specifically loved there assortment of deserts. They had a lucky charms rice crispy treat, some great macaroons and the coffee is a perfect mix. I was especially impressed with the coffee not too acidic and not too light great medium blend. They do offer a darker roast for people that enjoy a darker taste. I definitely would recommend anyone visiting to stop by this bakery!

Delicious. Ordered a breakfast sandwich, turkey sandwich, and carrot cake cupcake. Everything tasted great and my husband loved the turkey sandwich and bread it came on. Staff was friendly and food only took about 10min to make. Will definitely come back when in the area again!

First of all, donuts are 5-star. They are one of my must-haves when we visit Skaneateles. We got breakfast sandwiches here when we visited in the summer. They were on a roll and they were awesome. When we visited in the fall, the roll was not an option, so we got our sandwiches on Italian bread. These just weren't as good. The egg mixture they use for the scrambled eggs is black pepper-heavy. I requested that my eggs have no pepper on them and they called and told me it wasn't possible. I appreciated the call, but if you aren't a fan of black pepper these sandwiches may not be for you. We will definitely stop and get donuts and maybe a few other baked goods again, but I'm not sure about the sandwiches. It would really depend on our schedule and their bread options.

Nice small shop. Employees are very nice and food is delicious. We stopped by on our way to Niagara Falls and ordered their BLT sandwich and cappuccino. The have some seating areas and the lace is clean. I recommend it!

LIKED: Friendly service, clean premises, fair prices, and lots of choices of baked goods. I also liked that they have what seems like their own spins of classic treat like Lemon / Poppy Seed Macaroons and chocolate covered original donuts. Kudos 👍🏼. WOULD HAVE LIKED: This is entirely personal but for being a bakery in a well visited tourist area I expected vegan options. I did not see them on the store board / menu. I really would have liked to buy a few things for my wife.

Food is good, service is ok, but they serve unwashed, dirty lettuce on a regular basis. These photos are without dressing or seasoning.

Bathrooms were filthy. Macrons were nothing to write home about. Staff looked annoyed when we walked in. Is it even a bakery? All I saw were people making salads and sandwiches in the back.

Good iced latte with nice environment in a cute little walking area. Service was lacking friendliness....i get it you're busy.. but smile at your customers. no smiling, greeting etc though overall I cannot say it was slow. I had a donut (cant remember which) but was good.

I had high hopes because I love bakeries, however it wasn’t great. The latte was a bit watery, the donut and macaroon were ok but not delicious. The worst part was that people kept coming to the line and stepping wherever, and no one from the staff would tell them. A couple guys went in front of the line and the cashier was about to take their order before my husband told them about the line, it’s ok not knowing but the cashier knew a lot of people were waiting and didn’t say anything.

After roaming the sunny but cool autumn streets of skaeneatlas it was time for coffee and some treats at the bakery. The Viennese swirl was amazing. The pastries simply crumbled and melted in the mouth. The cream with the raspberry jam just added to the deliciousness. The coconut covered donut was fresh. As was the drip coffee. Awesome experience. Wish they had kept the handwritten boards instead of the tv panels. Have taken off some points from the service as my better half had asked for a cookie to be warmed up which could have been just zapped in the microwave but a firm no nixed that. Would a 15s zap been that bad?

The pastries are good, but the overall atmosphere and all of the staff are really snobby. This has been my experience every time I go into the bakery. If you ask a question about something, they give you dirty looks and act like you don't belong there because you asked a question. Today I placed a very simple order just for a cinnamon bun. I did this as a curbside order where they bring it out to my car. When I arrived there was a parking spot right out front, so I figured it would be easier for me to just park, walk in, and grab my cinnamon bun. When I entered, I told a staff member that I had done it curbside order but ended up coming into the store and asked if there was something I needed to do to get my order (such as alert them of my arrival as per curbside or was it in a different place because it was curbside etc). She stared at me like I was speaking a different language, and told me I would have to wait and it would be put in the window with the other orders. 10 minutes later I went back inside to get my cinnamon bun, which was not in the window, but at least 20 people had entered the store and exited with their orders during this time. I waited in line and got to the counter and look at that, my cinnamon bun had been sitting right there next to the register the entire time. I wasted 10 minutes of my morning because the staff was too rude to answer a question. Ironically it was the same staff member who gave me my cinnamon bun who told me I'd have to sit and wait. She did not apologize for giving me inaccurate information and wasting 10 minutes of my day. My last experience prior to this also involved rude staff members. I placed a to-go order for some pastries including one of their frosted Christmas cookies. There is no cookie called a frosted Christmas cookie or anyting even related to that in their order menu online. They had about 10 other cookies listed so I just randomly picked one because they were all the same price, or so I thought. And then I put in the notes the cookie I wanted. When I went in to pick up the order, they very rudely scolded me for choosing the wrong cookie and told me that I would need to pay them an additional $0.50 if I wanted that cookie because I had ordered the incorrect one. And obviously I should have known that the Frosted Christmas cookie was called a smiley face cookie in their system. I also witnessed a family enter the store during this experience. They were from out of town and were confused about the line. They asked the staff where they should go in the store to get in line since it's very confusing. Once again the staff were very rude and snobby and the family was so embarrassed at the way they were treated that they turned around and walked out of the store. I think I have given this Bakery enough tries that I will not be back due to their extremely snobby atmosphere and rude staff members.

I really wanted to like this restaurant but it left is disappointed.

The customer service was good, however, upon buying macarons, 4 with high hopes, I was very disappointed to receive dry, crunchy, hollow cookies, nothing like a macaron at all :(

Ive been a handful of times before, and theres usuallly a long line on the weekends. Went by on a weekday where it was relatively quiet. Ordered a donut, the diner breakfast sandwich and a matcha latte with oat milk. Unfortunately, they accidentally made me a regular latte. Then it turns out they charged me for extra bacon I didnt order. They asked if I wanted to substitute the sausage on the sandwich with bacon. I said no substitutions, just add the bacon on pls since I already paid for it. In the end they didnt put any bacon on my sandwich and remade my matcha, which tasted like burnt hot water. Donut was good, but I didnt even notice my order was off until after I had already left and was on my way to the airport.

The treats are amazing. But, overall... Overrated and overpriced with extremely slow service with teens and kids who can get quite rude behind the counter. Expect to wait 40+ minutes. I added cream cheese and jam to an egg and bacon breakfast sandwich, only to be told after paying that they couldn't do that. (Even though they've done it in the past). They have and allow this added option for their bagels and toast, did their hands stop working on their ciabatta bread? Had to get it on the side and use mixing spoon to spread it myself.

Stop hiring 15 year olds who can’t make coffee or food?! My food has never been what I’ve ordered, coffee always watered down, overpriced. They gave my mom the wrong food and we went back and they gave us her order sitting for over an hour instead of remaking it and righting a consistent wrong. Where is competent management? only thing going for this place is location

Popped in. We were told a 30 minute wait for sandwiches. Sure no problem. Waited 30. Waited 35. Waited 40. Waited 45. Asked about our food. Was informed by staff that they lost our ticket. Asked for a refund. Staff refused to provide it. We've now been waiting an additional 10 minutes for food. Will not recommend or return.

the service is incredibly slow and the teenagers they have behind the counter are extraordinarily rude (shoving the bag of food at us and saying “i don’t know, you can check it yourself”). the food is usually good but waiting over 40 minutes for a sandwich (without being told the wait time prior to placing the order) is ridiculous.

If you care about other people and how they’re treated in the community, don’t go there. Not many people will care about this but I think it needs to be said. The servers at this place (2 girls in their twenties in particular) are the rudest, most racist and obnoxious I’ve met in a good while. I got in with my mother this morning around brunch time. My mother wears a head scarf and we are Egyptians. These 2 girls looked at each other and decided to completely ignore us. I said “Hi” twice, one for each, the one acted like she didn’t see me although she stood right in front of me. The other looked me straight in the eyes and decided to look away. I was so saddened by this unnecessary racist encounter. We literally just thought what a quaint little spot let us have something nice to eat. But, I guess some among us still think they’re superior for an ambiguous reason. Quite the contrary ladies; you’ve only shown how low you can be. An absolute disgrace to the Skaneateles community. They looked at each other and decided we don’t deserve a decent “hello”, I look back and think they don’t deserve to sleep well at night with such ugly hearts. Shame.

Ive ordered two times now in the past 2 weeks and both times received not what I ordered, not even close, when your charging people .50 cents just to put some sauce on a sandwich the least you could do is get the actual order right I got the fritta and received legit just tomato and egg on bread not even close to what I ordered forget the extra things I added by giving you guys more money, I used to love the bakery but truly is not worth 9 dollars to get an egg sandwich with nothing but a single slice of tomato when i ordered a sandwich with bacon onions cheese and sauce. major disappointment and waste of money and time.

This place sold me the worst bagel I’ve ever had in the state of New York. I got two steps out the door with it in my hands and could feel something was completely messed up. The outside felt mushy so I checked it out and it was SUPER soggy. I then tried a bite just to see if just the outside is bad, but no… the inside too was stale and hard. Whatever process they’re using, it’s a complete disaster of a bagel operation. Charging $3.25 for that is a scandal.
