Our experience at The Brazos Landing was excellent. Our food was delicious. The server was friendly and competent. Highly recommend the gator. One member of our party ordered the chicken fried steak and it was HUGE. She took home half of it! Great atmosphere because of its location on the river as well.

We had 60 people and less than 30 minutes notice. Over the phone, they assisted with our “reservations” and organized our appetizers and menu! The service was amazing and prompt. The food is always fresh and never frozen and you can tell! It was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend and will definitely return!

Came in for dinner and we were given the option to either sit inside or sit on the enclosed deck area. We chose to sit out on the enclosed deck area with the sun it was beautiful and warm. Nice part is on a nice warm day they can roll up the doors and have it be open. The staff was very friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. We were sat got to choose our own table with the hostess. Then right after being sat we were able to get a drink order in right away and an appetizer order. The staff was super attentive and made sure our drinks never went empty. The food came out fast and was delicious. We enjoyed our little dinner date on the river with the view. I would highly recommend trying this place out. They have plenty of selection for you to choose from.

Definitely fulfilled the craving for great seafood! The sea bass and risotto were delicious! Unfortunately, the asparagus was stringy and chewy. The service was great! We had a newer waiter who did a great job and was very friendly! The atmosphere and the area is beautiful. I loved walking outside and seeing the river area. Definitely a have to visit in Waco.

Standard cajun food, nothing you have seen 100 times before, or need to get excited about. But the atmosphere is great and the service has been A-1 every time. The location is also scenic-ish and great, even if the parking is tricky on busy days. This place is proof that atmosphere and great waiting is enough to tip the scales of a restaurant.

Hyeon Myong Tsou Park

It's a cool location and is well maintained. The service is great and the ice cream is fantastic. However, the food itself was lackluster. Google reviews hyped me on the chicken fried steak and it was a weak 3/5, family actually rated their food a little lower. Now I'm not a food snob but at $100+ for 3.5 people, I was expecting a weak 4/5 or better. Lots of good reasons to come here but unfortunately not the food.

Took my mom here for a visit. We loved it. The location is perfect. It's right off the water and a walking path. It is close to I-35, Baylor and Cameron Park Zoo. You can sit outside and watch people walk/run, along with the birds. Service was quick and helpful.

Recommended by a local friend, we were extremely satisfied with our visit! They have a VERY extensive selection of whiskies and wines to get you started! The swamp soup was velvety goodness! Alligator bites were a bit too small, in my opinion, but nice with 3 different dipping sauces. The Crescent City Chicken was full of flavor , especially on top of some creamy potatoes. The Blackened Trio was a little disappointing w a very small piece of catfish, about 4 shrimp, and a large chicken breat that was a bit dry. The bed of rice was a bit undercooked, but the veggies were the best part of the dish! We ended with an extremely delicious peach cobbler w cinnamon ice cream. Friendly service throughout the night. Unfortunately, there were long waits between courses, not sure why. All in all, we'll definitely be back, and we definitely recommend , especially with its great location and all the great views of the Brazos!

Great seafood experience! The shrimp peel and eat app was fresh and tasty. The portions are quite large so be warned! Great atmosphere and the outside dining has a nice atmosphere.

We came to Waco for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was nice. They kept the patio very breezing and cool. But the food was not very good. We ordered the short ribs Mac and cheese and a wedge salad, flounder tacos and the lobster bisque and 2 bloody Mary’s. The Mac and cheese was bland and slimey, the wedge salad was missing the tomatoes, the taco tasted like they used frozen fish and they were dry, the lobster bisque tasted like tomato soup with shrimp or something(didn’t taste or feel like lobster) and the bloody Mary’s were way to citrusy and missing the bacon. This is definitely not some place I would go home talking about and definitely not worth the price. After talking with some locals they don’t recommend this place since it’s changed from buzzard Billy’s.

The cool atmosphere was about the only cool thing about Brazos Landing. We came with a large group (12) which I know comes with challenges but we did have a reservation. In total we were here for 2 hours. We were seated at 5:15 pm we ordered at around 5:30, received our food around 6:4 5 and we walked out the front door at 7:17 pm. After our food was brought out we had eaten it in roughly 20 minutes to put the time in perspective. The food was mediocre at best, I ordered the blackened trio and my catfish was very fishy, the shrimp and chicken were cold, and my veggies were lukewarm. My wife was in the restroom at the time the food was delivered and was told they were missing some stuff. Needless to say she never got her food. After about 15 minutes of waiting we asked the waitress to just cancel it to which she replied they thought it was an extra order and she could still bring it out. To which my wife replied that it would now be nearly cold and to just remove it. We wound up waiting an additional 15-20 minutes for our bill which wound up coming out mixed up, one member of our party was charged for 2 bills, several items were on other peoples bills. Overall horrible experience, and I don’t think there’s one person in our party that will be back.

I was so excited to go here with my husband after hearing good things from friends. We got there and it was dead but took our waitress forever to come to our table. We ordered corn ribs on the appetizer menu but they said they didn't sell them anymore so we switched to spinach Dip. It taste like spinach in straight up Alfredo sauce. It was so runny and barely any spinach. We both ordered house salads. His was fine. Mine had literal brown lettuce. Ive been a waitress. If the kitchen misses it , you see it and ask to remake. We also both ordered the Bass (expensive, I think almost $50 each) all these pictures with beautiful plates and little greens sprinkled on there, nope. It looked like a piece of bland white fish on top of slop. I ordered the Brussels sprouts which was an up charge. No where on the menu does it say it comes in some weird sauce that taste like generic cold bbq sauce. They were awful. We ordered drinks. No one besides a cop sitting at the bar, but it took forever. $200 bill, We work hard for our money and would not choose to spend it here again. Waitress was so unfriendly for no dang reason It felt like they didn't want us in there on a Sat night at 8:30. I saw the owners response claiming there was no transaction matching. I never gave a date but if you would like it it, it was (SATURDAY) 10-25-25 at approximately 8:30 pm according to my photos 🙂 Im sure I could post a picture of the transaction from our bank as well. I have zero reason to lie. Work on your manners/customer service skills 👍

Would definitely NOT recommend. We came from out of town. Saw this place on Google. Decided to take a large group after a gender reveal party. Our waitress was mediocre. Regular service you'd receive at Texas Roadhouse but this place thinks their Vic Stewart's. On my ticket, was only food and drinks for two people. I ordered the crab cakes as my meal. $20 MIND YOU. It came with two crab cakes. TWO. And they were the size of a kids cup lid. Legitimately should have taken a picture. They tasted like the crab came from the can. No flavor. Bland. Let me tell you. Saltgrass's crab cakes are better. And you get MORE for the price. All in all I ended up eating two sides that were served COLD and had one drink. $187.00 for WHAT? 🤣 I will NEVER come back. Do yourself the favor and don't go! I am also not the only one in my party who was frustrated! Service was slow. Took 5 years to get the check when we were the only table in the restaurant. I can go on and on but I'll spare you !
