AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! It was an experience from start to finish. The greens tea shots were some of the best ones we've had outside of the ones from another restaurant in Tacoma. The chicken enchiladas with the green sauce? Bomb! The birria meal?! (It doesn't come put together but you can eat it with the tortillas. Did I? No! It was so good, I didnt want them. The chips were good and fresh. The guacamole and salsa, A1. We even got a little karaoke show. I will be back soon. (The 3rd picture my cousin order and I have no idea what it was but it was also good).

Really good food! The rice was especially good. The beans were not refried style, but very tasty with bacon and pork fat. Everything we had was excellent. I went in and ordered takeout, and it didn't take long to get our food. The place is very casual with a bar in the center. Plenty of parking. So happy to have this new place in Kent! Highly recommend.

Very welcoming staff. They asked if we had any questions about certain dishes, but we were ready to order. I had delicious seasoned fajitas and muy husband enchiladas. The portion were huge. We will definitely be back.

Yoli Mexican Restaurant in Kent has quickly become one of my favorite spots since it opened in July 2025. I’ve tried a lot of Mexican food around the West Coast, but the dishes here truly stand out. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere with plenty of space — it can even host events for up to 80 people, which makes it a great place for gatherings or celebrations. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this was a place that takes pride in both its food and hospitality. I started with the menudo verde and menudo rojo, and both were absolutely incredible. The verde had this bright, herby flavor that felt fresh and comforting, while the rojo had a deep, rich broth that was full of warmth and spice. It’s rare to find menudo that’s made with this much care and flavor, and both versions were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The carne asada was another highlight — tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The portion size was generous, and every bite was satisfying. I also tried the taco platter, and it was beautifully presented with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. You can tell the kitchen puts a lot of thought into both the look and taste of each dish. What really made the experience special, though, was the service. Everyone at Yoli was friendly and attentive, Maria was my server for brunch during one of my visits and her charm and attitude really made my day. And Jeremy, the owner, made a point to greet guests and check in on tables. He and the staff have such a genuine charm that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. I also stopped by for brunch and dessert, and both were excellent. The chilaquiles were easily some of the best I’ve had — flavorful, crispy, and perfectly balanced. For dessert, the guava cheesecake and chocolate brownie really stood out; both were rich, delicious, and a great way to end the meal. Overall, Yoli is a gem in Kent, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again every weekend.

Of all othe Mexican food I've had at a restaurant, this is simply the best. The Ceviche de Camaron was refreshing, the Pozole Verde deep, the Birria tender and the Rajas con Crema was out of this world! All the meats were so tender and the vegetables so fresh. Rice and beans were great. Homemade tortillas. I've never had Rajas so good in my life -so smokey and creamy. Thecstaff weew friendly. We really appreciated the server. She was very kind and helpful.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how modern and cute the interior was! Stylish yet welcoming, with a warm atmosphere that set the tone for a great meal. As someone with celiac disease, eating out can often feel like a gamble, but the staff here were knowledgeable and accommodating, and I’m happy to say I didn’t have any issues. It’s clear they take dietary needs seriously, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food itself was outstanding!! Fresh, clearly homemade, and full of authentic flavor without being heavy or greasy. Every bite tasted clean and thoughtfully prepared. Even after a full meal, I didn’t feel weighed down, which is rare and very much appreciated. The drinks were just as impressive, well-balanced, not overly sweet, and crafted with the same care as the food. And the dessert? Absolutely delicious. A perfect end to a satisfying meal. This spot is a real gem. I’ll definitely be back, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone, especially those who are gluten-free and looking for a safe, delicious dining option.

The food is delicious, DELICIOUS. We immediately felt welcomed, the service was great, I loved the staff, the place itself is spacious, and well lit, there’s also TVs near the bar in case you want to watch a game. This will be our go to date spot.

We stopped in for dinner and let me tell you they did NOT disappoint! First walking in the atmosphere was very inviting, everyone had a smile on their face and greated you. Plenty of seating. The food...OMG AMAZING doesn't even begin to describe it, lots of flavor but not over bearing. We started off with chips n salsa, the chips were perfectly salted and the salsa no too spicy. Then I got a mojito...Hands down the best I've had in such a long time. For dinner I got the carne asada and it was amazing, every bite melted in your mouth, hand made tortillas, YUMMMM. It also came with beans, although they reminded me more of beans you would get at a BBQ, they didn't disappoint in flavor. The prices were reasonable and didn't break the bank. We will definitely be going back and I highly recommend to anyone wanting an authentic mexican meal, go to Yoli, you won't be disappointed.

We recently tried a new Mexican restaurant in Kent’s visiting from Seattle, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We sampled a handful of dishes, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and totally worth the price. Pictured here are the Ceviche de Camarón, the Esquites with Salsa Macha, and the Rice and Beans—each one incredibly fresh and well-seasoned. The ceviche was bright and citrusy with perfectly tender shrimp, and the esquites had just the right kick thanks to the salsa macha. Even the rice and beans stood out with rich, comforting flavors. We also had the Flautas, which were crisp and delicious, and the Queso al Horno with Birria—a rich, cheesy dish that you absolutely must dip your tortillas in. Everything was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. (We ate it so fast I couldn’t take a photo) I tried the Brisa Verde cocktail and it was amazing—refreshing, well-balanced, and the perfect pairing for the meal. (Drank it so quickly, I couldn’t get a photo) What really stood out, though, was the phenomenal service. Jeremy, the owner/manager, made us feel incredibly welcome, and Ambrea behind the bar was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. The ambience of the place was so fun, they had great music playing, and the areas were segregated creating a lot of space. Everything was very affordable for the quality, and the freshness of the ingredients really made each bite memorable. This place is a gem and absolutely worth checking out—we’ll definitely be back!!!

This place is not your typical Mexican restaurant. I would say it's Mexican with a special unique twist. There food was great more than I was expecting. Everything had great flavor not to salty or overpowering with spices. Very unique flavor compared to other Mexican restaurants. Not to mention their drinks were amazing and not weak for sure. It's definitely worth the drive if you live in Seattle like. I definitely give it a 10/10 great food, great service and nice relaxing atmosphere. They also have plenty of parking,TV screens for people that want to watch there sports and the have live mariachi and Banda on some weekends each month. It's a must try if you haven't already. I can't wait to come back again.

The Hospitality is amazing! The sever and bartender made sure that my little sister and I were well tended to. Our food was off the charts! I had the Pozole Verdo and my Lil sis had the Birra Tacos and both were amazing! We also shared the little brownie plate and it was phenomenal! This was my first time here to, and I will be coming back!!

Had been waiting for the initial opening buzz to die down before trying the new restaurant that took over the location of our favorite Mexican restaurant. Yoli has updated the interior of the space to a very modern look, but with solid floors, walls, and ceiling, it’s a very loud space. We were seated in the bar where there were plenty of open tables. Bar and restaurant seemed maybe 3/4 full on a Friday night, but service was very slow. We ordered the Chile Rellano and the Wet Burrito with chicken and rojo (red) sauce as our server said it was the mildest option. Both were attractively plated (see pics) but they were too spicy for my wife and they were at the top and of spicy spectrum. Yoli promotes themselves as serving authentic Mexican food and if that’s the normal spice level for every dish, it’s too much for us to swallow. Prices are reasonable- each entree was about $18 and a house margarita (nothing special but drinkable) was $11.

We came here on our trip to Seattle. The restaurant was empty around 3ish pm o Tuesday. We were seated right away. We got their Carne asada plates and were able to substitute the nopal salad for rice. The frijoles charros were sooo good. However, they were a little bit on the spicier end. Would be good if they had levels of spice. I know they’re supposed to have spice but there are plenty of people that don’t like it. After a while I was hot. The carne itself was good, smaller than I expected but we still got full. Their Jamaica was so good and authentic. We were also given extra tortillas at no cost. I would recommend this place. The pricing is also reasonable.

We were the only ones waiting to be seared and had a 10 to 15 min wait because tables had to be cleaned off. There were 4 tables needing to be cleaned and only 2 servers so, tables were cleaned as guests arrived. Silverware was clean, shiny and heavyweight (very nice). Scrumptious Thick, warm homemade tortilla chips and salsa all perfect (i could have had that for my meal). The meals were nothing to brag about just so so. If I pay $23.99 for a meal I would prefer not to get cut up weenies in my beans and carne that was a bit dry. On the other hand the street corn off the cob was delicious. The margaritas were great. The male server was very kind and checked on us regularly. I wish I could have left a better review but honesty brings about change. God bless this business to prosper.

Not a true Mexican restaurant. They have a very limited menu with barely any traditional Mexican dishes. There are no burritos of any kind, no tamales, no chili rellenos, no chili's Verde or Colorado, and other dishes you find in most other Mexican restaurants. The tortillas are corn, not flour. Very strange dishes I've never heard of. We had the fajitas with chicken, beef, and shrimp and it was very oily, in fact dripping oily. They do charge $4 for chips and salsa, the chips are thick and tough, the salsa is rather hot and just plain strange. My wife had a margarita and it came in a standard water glass, not a margarita glass, and was over priced. For the money we spent, we could have gone to Moctezuma's in southcenter and had true Mexican food. I don't see Yoli staying in business, there weren't very many customers and for what they offer, and what you get is not very good. We won't be be going back.

I feel bad leaving a one star review but maybe as a new restaurant it’s still early enough to take negative feedback into consideration… the steak fajitas may look good in the photo but oh my, I have never eaten steak this overcooked before … it was like trying to chew leather. It was flavorless and unseasoned. The ton of veggies on the bottom were crunchy and raw and unseasoned. When the food was picked up there was no one there so I’m assuming we just got some really old steak was being rewarmed and that’s why it’s so dry.
