Heritage Food & Drink is an absolute gem. The moment you walk in, the decor feels elevated and stylish—almost like stepping into a boutique hotel. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, making it great for both a casual drink or a full night out. The happy hour is excellent, with great value and a solid selection, and everything we ordered was on point. The food was well-executed, the drinks were crafted beautifully, and the service matched the vibe—friendly, attentive, and professional. Overall, Heritage nails it: amazing ambiance, great food and drinks, and an experience that feels thoughtfully put together. Easily a place I’d come back to again and again.
Daniella was amazing. She was very much attentive to our needs and wants. We will definitely be back and I will even bring my kids. The mimosas were delicious I couldn’t finish my food but I sure enough finished my drinks. The bottomless brunch for 2 hours for 20 is great.
Had a great lunch experience! The food was amazing, and the vibe was cozy and welcoming. Our waitress, Daniella, was excellent, attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations. Don’t miss the gluten-free apple crisp, you’d never know it’s gluten-free. Warm, delicious, and the perfect sweet ending. We’ll definitely be back!
isandros is the best guy out there! super attentive and great drinks. I will be back for sure!!
This restaurant is beautiful. Prices are higher because it's a fancier restaurant. The waiter was very attentive. The food is very good. I just felt it was a little too seasoned. Highly recommend the jalapeños popper deviled eggs for an appetizer. Steak was very fatty with a lot of tendons. For an expensive steak, I did expect better. Friday night was great because they have live bands. But I don't recommend a booth. Seats are very stiff for those with bad backs :) I will definitely be back :) The drinks were amazing.
Beautiful restaurant. Service was excellent and swift! Fried chicken was best I've ever had. My wife's salmon was the best she's had in a long time. Layers of different flavor that went perfectly with her dish. Not one flaw. Perfection. Great job guys! Edit* Original review is from 2 years ago. Was in again 4/21 and once again it was a excellent dinner for my wife and I. My short rib was a monster in size and so tender! Just touch it with the fork and would fall apart! Absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation as well as my wife's surf and turf! Excellent!
I finally got my wife and I to sit down and enjoy a bite of for lunch 🥙. Their Crispy Lemon Pepper Chicken was amazing 🤩 If you’re looking for a great flavor combo and atmosphere, check out Heritage Food and Drink
I don’t think I can say enough about Heritage. If you haven’t been here yet it’s a must. I’ve been living in Dutchess county for the past two years and have had the privilege of trying a vast number of the local restaurants but no place has drawn me back as many times as this place. I would best describe the food as comfort food (at least for my taste it is). The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The bar has a great selection of bourbons and local beers. The chef, I believe his name is Nick, has been very nice in the few brief interactions that I have had with him and the manager(s) are always welcoming whenever I come with my fiancé or guests. The food here has never let me down and neither has the level of service. I you are looking for a great brunch, a laid back business lunch, dinner with a date or a place to celebrate an occasion I would highly suggest giving Heritage a shot. We even happened to walk in on one of the events that they had going on with Plan bee farm brewery and although we didn’t plan on attending, it was a great experience. We are looking forward to attending another event as they seem to come up monthly or so on their Instagram page. Also don’t follow them on Instagram unless you just feel like being hungry every time the post a picture.
We went for dinner this evening and everything was terrific! The service was phenomenal, too, which made everything even better. We ordered a kids meal for our two year old and it was probably the best deal we’ve ever gotten for the amount and quality of food on a kids menu. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to go back!
The Heritage experience is one I will never forget. In one word, it was MARVELOUS. Well, actually, it was FABULOUS, no, INCREDIBLE, no FANTASTIC! It was the absolute best experience ever. The hostess, Lizzy was magnificent. We received premium service and a warm welcome. I truly could not have asked for more. Daniella was also an excellent server. Truly remarkable. Three, no FOUR Michelin Stars. Thank you for a night to remember!
Kevin did a great job providing us nutritional information. He was very friendly! Great server!
Beautiful modern restaurant inside & out. Nice ambiance, dim lighting & candles at every table. We sat in a cozy, U-shaped booth. We enjoyed a leisurely meal, waitress was attentive, and did not make us feel rushed. Food was excellent, great flavor - seasoned just right. Would highly recommend.
We had a great experience! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and our waiter Kevin was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!
Great spot for cocktails. Alana was so friendly and made our experience really enjoyable. My favorite drink was the purple haze soo good.
My wife and I have loved Heritage for years. We had our rehearsal dinner here in 2021 and have enjoyed several trips back over the past few years. Food, service, atmosphere, drinks… everything always meets/exceeds expectations and it’s become a special place for our family.
Had a delicious dinner with our grandkids on Sunday!! It’s there favorite dinner spot… as well us ours…. We enjoyed a great salad with some perfectly cooked salmon… wagyu burger was delicious !! Servers are always very welcoming!
The hospitality was top notch, the food was so amazing and our server Kevin was very kind. We shall definitely come back here. Thank you so much Heritage.
Kevin was the best server we’ve had to date. He really is very attentive and provided the best advice when ordering. Showed deep care and compassion for my family. Thank you Kevin !!
Hosted three events here in their private room upstairs and everything was great. Their service was spectacular and all of our guests left raving about the food. Heritage is always our go to!
Very responsive, our order was correct and delicious. Kevin was very attentive and suggestive with the menu when asked questions. Ty very much and please give Kevin a raise!
Loved the decor and all food we got was amazing. We had the burger and the kale and beet salad. Also loved the kids menu. Loved it all!
This was one of those places. We tried on a whim at the request of friends, and also because all of the chain restaurants in the area had to wait on a Saturday night. I'm very happy we did. Outstanding all around. The food was excellent. They offered bar food type options as well as steakhouse type options. Service was on point. And the decor was pretty dope. I found myself telling my kids not to point and stare so that other patrons wouldn't think he was pointing at them. The appetizers we ordered were ones that we just passed around the table. Try a little bit of everything cuz it all sounded interesting and all ended up tasting great. Will definitely be back
It was my first time going to this establishment and it was recommended by my son and his friends. Now, they have a plethora of choices if Beer is your thing but we decided to have the Painkiller instead and it was great. It has an Asian Fusion vibe in their offerings with the food choices. The Honey Chicken and the LAMB....marvelous! I will definitely come back here as it is a reminder of great local food and the ambiance was open. If you are in Dutchess and in Wappingers then give them a visit.
I visit Heritage at least once a year on my biz travels. Alana provided amazing service as I would always receive when I sit and dine at the bar. Thank you for providing epic, above bar, consistency Alana!
Came here for Sunday brunch with friends, fantastic! Deviled eggs in a way like you've never had before, trust me! Mussels, wow what a great sauce!, pork belly flatbread(the bec) and the salmon avocado, all coupled nicely with some drinks, it was a great meal. We sat at the bar around noon, bartender was a nice young lady, we never had to ask for anything, she was on top of it all. My drink was called Snowing in Miami, fruity but not sweet with Vodka..perfection. I'd say don't walk to this place...run! So good!
My wife and I visited Heritage for our Valentine's Dinner, my first visit, her second time, and we were both very impressed with all aspects of our experience. From accommodating our reservation requests, the outstanding service, to the wonderful food, Heritage was on point for us. Not wanting to be stuck with a Valentine's prix fixe menu, we chose Heritage based on having their full menu and Valentine's Specials, as well as their Happy Hour Menu. Being my first visit, I anticipated trying as much variety of the menu as possible and being seated in the bar area, as requested, we were able to enjoy a bounty of dishes. Although we did not wind up ordering any entree, we had a good deal of the appetizers Heritage offers. My personal favorite was the Pork Belly, while my wife's favorite was the General Tso's Cauliflower (which I highly recommend.) Other dishes we shared were the Deviled Eggs, Chicken Meatballs, Mussels, and we started it all off with a dozen Blue Point Oysters on the half shell. After hearing all great things about Heritage, it definitely lived up to the billing, and I understand now why they have been honored with so many accolades. I will definitely be visiting again and I highly recommend (and have already to friends and family) to visit Heritage. Thank you and hope to see you again soon!
Delicious food + atmosphere. Nice menu and kids eat free on Sundays all day! This is the third time I have been here and I will be back!
Excellent brunch. Extensive menu. Pricy but for the quality it is reasonable. Children eatinr free was a pleasant surprise
This is the 4th year my company has had our holiday party at Heritage and it seems like it gets better every year. Each year, I work with their GM, Michelle, and she makes it all happen beautifully. From the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food, everything is top notch! If you're not planning your event here, holiday party or what have you, you are truly missing out!
Sarah was a great server , Alana is a great bartender she made a tremendous ranchwater. Both made our dining experience that much better always warming and welcoming, can’t wait to return and enjoy again.
We had a Galentine’s brunch for a group of six, and everything was phenomenal. The service was great, and the food was delicious! For appetizers we had the biscuits, general tso’s cauliflower, and sweet potato hush puppies which were great plates to share. The fried chicken & waffles were cooked perfectly, and the mimosas and sangria added the perfect touch. We will definitely be back!
We hosted a wedding weekend welcome drinks at Heritage and were SO glad we did! Food and drinks were delicious, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- both in advance of the event with regular communications and openness to customizing for us, and perfect during the night of - and everything went smoothly. All positive - would highly recommend for an event!
Heritage is the best trio you could get from a restaurant, brunch, lunch, and dinner. The atmosphere is wonderful, has a warm, luxurious feeling when you walk in as well as when you sit to dine. The food is always on point as well are all of the drinks. Things I like about this place is the menu is always changing and not in a bad way at all. Keeps you wanting to go back to see what masterpiece they are presenting from the kitchen. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed.
Delicious quality comfort food at a reasonable price! The food was so good I forgot to order beer. Their biscuits are out if this world, as is their friend chicken. I had their french onion burger. Best burger I've ever had. Chelsea, our server, was fast, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommend. Altogether we got the ridiculously delicious tater tot appetizer, the french onion burger, friend chicken and biscuits, and the lemon vanilla short bread. Will eat their again. Hopefully soon.
FOMO is defined as the fear of missing out. You do not want to miss out going to Heritage Food and Drink in Wappingers Falls! We had an amazing experience for a late lunch. The food's presentation was on par with other fine eateries we dined. Christian waited on us and was timely - we did not want for attention. He was attentive and yet gave us our space. The "slow burn" chili-infused tequila with strawberry, lime and tajín rimmed glass bursted with flavor and heat. The Triple H - boasted whiskey, hot honey, lemon, ginger, and vanilla. It was very aromatic, felt warm to the taste, and it finished with the spice of ginger and the hug of vanilla. When the smash burger arrived the smell was savory. The taste was even better than it smelled. It was juicy, flavorful, and topped with a buttery brioche bun sealed the meal. Our shoelace fries were perfectly-salted. The “Soprano” grilled cheese was a terrific twist with the soppressata, muenster and banana peppers that added just the right amount of tang. The Cast Iron Artichoke appetizer was bustling with flavors. Smoky Fossil Farms sausage, crispy artichokes, roasted pepper salad, focaccia, and flatbread balanced the plate and our palates. The Lobster Luger was e-x-c-e-p-t-io-n-a-l! Savory steak laid atop succulent lobster seasoned satisfied both sides of the tongue! FOMO is what you will have if you don't avail yourself to this eatery! Make sure you ask for Sandros and Panos the mixologists to dazzle your drinks! They're the professionals! Kathryn and I highly recommend! A+++
Went to Heritage Food and Drink with my wife and kids and had a great time. The food was awesome, and the atmosphere was excellent. Sarah, our server, was very attentive and made the experience even better. Highly recommend—great food, great atmosphere, and great service.
Yesterday we hosted our baby shower in the upstairs event space at heritage and I couldn’t have dreamed of a better venue or a better day. From the very first time I reached out to heritage to the day of our event, everything was seamless & wonderful. The food and drinks were incredible, the staff was top notch and the service was truly unbeatable! I was blown away by their dedication to ensuring all of my guests and myself were taken care of and they did it happily. The space is gorgeous and our events manager Michelle was truly incredible. Thank you to all the staff at heritage! We highly recommend dining in or hosting your event here!
Came with a group of 6. We ordered 5 appetizers and a pasta to split for apps and then ach couple ordered the large plates to split for our mains. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. Small plates definitely mean small plates but they are priced accordingly which I loved so we all got to try everything.
First time dining there. Restaurant was referred by my Sister and a Great referral it was. The server was very patient, courteous and accommodating. I wish I could remember her name. The food was seasoned, delicious and well presented . The entire experience was Great. Highly Highly recommend.
Sarah was fantastic! She was attentive, kind, personable and lit up our day! All Of our food was perfect no complaints and Compliments to the staff. Heritage is one of my favorite brunch places always top quality!!
Alana was incredibly cordial and attentive during our dinner! We also enjoyed nice conversation with her towards the end. She was always checking in with us and making sure that we were welp attended to. Perfect for my husband’s birthday!
Not only is the food wonderful, especially the cauliflower, but so was our waitress! Sarah was sweet as pie and an absolute delight during our quick lunch visit. She also was so sweet to our baby! Thank you again Sarah!!
My family had an amazing experience at Heritage Food & Drink. It was our first time at the restaurant. We were very impressed with everything. Our server Sarah was very attentive to our needs and knowledgable about the menu. The food was delicious. We are excited to come back soon!
Alana was warm, friendly, and attentive. She is a newer bartender and she made sure our drinks tasted great! The staff here is professional and always very kind. Heritage is a fantastic place and their happy hour at the bar is a great deal! Always very happy with the food and drinks - Delicous with a great atmosphere.
Food and drink were exceptional here. My Smashburger and juice bomb on happy hour were delicious. My bartender Alana was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. As someone who frequents restaurants, good bartenders are few and far between. Any place would be lucky to have a bartender like her.
We always have the best time at Heritage! We love to take our 2 year old -it has the best kids menu, and also a wonderful and delicious menu for us. The staff is so incredibly friendly and kind and attentive- especially Sarah! She is so sweet to our daughter and a lovely and wonderful waitress!
We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was incredible — the beer mac & cheese was comforting and full of flavor, and the chicken Milanese was perfectly crisp and delicious. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and inviting. Truly a memorable meal — we can’t wait to come back!
I am a luxury balloon designer. I just left this wonderful establishment. I have been here many times.. Every single time I come to set up.. the staff.. ALL of them are absolutely wonderful. Connor, who literally greated me at the door, helped me carry balloons upstairs… was soooo nice and helpful. As i was setting up.. i spoke to at least 10 people.. EVERY single one was delightful, respectful, kind… I have owned my own business for 26 years.. this level of customer service is simply not found anymore. The food is also fantastic… when you run an establishment this way.. people want to come back. Connor, thank you AGAIN for making me feel welcome… if i could give this place a million stars I would. I finally wanted to leave a review.. its not just a one time experience.. it is an absolute pleasure each time I walk through the doors. If you are looking to book an event… You wont be disappointed!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️-Caryn aka Hudson Valley Balloon Girl.
Had dinner there 2 weeks ago. The place was busy, but got a table pretty quickly. We ordered wings, which were possibly the best I’ve ever had! I had a burger and my husband got the French dip sandwich. The burger was great, but the star of the meal was the French Dip with caramelized onions and cheese. Absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back.
Have been here a couple times already but today we had a change of plans and they were able to accommodate a party of 5 last minute with no issues. Sarah was amazing- patient, helpful, kind, and personable. The food and cocktails are always good here (chicken and waffles shown below as well as “The Shorty” and “Purple Haze” cocktails) but she’s one of those people that truly make the experience remarkable. 10/10 recommend whether it’s for brunch, lunch, dinner, or some drinks!
We’ve been in the area since 2022 and this place has been on my list the whole time. Sara(h) was our waitress and she was awesome. She’s been there since March 2024 and was knowledgeable about the menu options and pairings. Hubby and I shared apps and each was amazing in its own way. I had the $19 bottomless mimosas (best deal in the Hudson Valley!!) and he had a local draft. It was our anniversary and Sara(h) brought us a glasses of bubbles with which to toast. I highly recommend Heritage!
This is one of our top spots whenever we are in town. The staff are always courteous and helpful although occasionally it's a bit longer wait during busy periods. The place is always clean and the music isn't too loud - the perfect ambience to hang out. Menu also has a lot of variety which I would typically be concerned about given the breadth of food they serve, but everything has been delicious. For appetizers, the general tsos cauliflower and brussel sprouts were delicious. The chicken waffles, beets market salad, and Heritage mcgriddle are reliably tasty as well. Good variety of alcoholic drinks too and willing to make what you request if they have the ingredients on hand. Prices are a bit high but good quality food. I would recommend.

The best part of my experience was the atmosphere. The second, was the service. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as the description or the presentation. Portion-wise, the side was greater than the main meal. I ordered the braised short ribs, and over half my dish was mushrooms with a few slices of ribs added. I LOVE mushrooms, but I would have preferred to see more shortribs. I would love to try this restaurant again perhaps with a different meal or improvement on what I already had.
Food is impeccable. I was sited in the front dining hall around 17:00 and there were no servers, at all. Had to make several trips to the bar to place the order, ask for napkins, ask for desert menu. Thanks to the bar tender, I got everything I wanted eventually, but this service was kinda strange experience.
We had a party of 12 with small children and the wait staff took real good care of us. We ordered various entrees from the main menu, the kids menu as well as the pick fixed menu, and they were all served at the same time. They made a mistake with one of orders but they were able to expedite the replacement in a short period of time. They have also provided us with a surprise birthday cake. The food overall was quite good with nice presentation. The restaurant decor is contemporary and pleasant but a little noisy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a drink after work as well as family gathering.
My wife and I went to Heritage and we had a great dinner. This restaurant is large and loud, with a lot of people talking and music playing. So don't go there for a romantic meal. However, if you are with a large group or a good friend, this is the place to . go. The decor is outstanding, everything i look forward to in a new restaurant. The seats however could use a little more cushion for comfort. Our server was very nice, she patiently went over the menu and helped us with our dinner choices. Our food to a while to come out but it was worth the wait. We had the Pork belly appetizer with Pulled lamb and Fried fish entrees. The food was great and I loved the flavors. Not the usual fare, this place is definitely for foodies. If you are looking for a food adventure give Heritage a try you will not be disappointed.
Sarah was amazing! She was very attentive and extremely helpful. She made my experience luxurious!
The food was great. I loved the honey butter covered chips! The main entree had a lot of different flavors. I personally don't like any food burnt so the grilled parts of the pita I didn't enjoy and would have opted for something else. Service was great. Today: The Miller House Brewery beer paired well to balance the sweetness of the honey butter better chips for those who enjoy balance flavors during their meals. The deviled eggs were lightly flavored. I would have preferred more paprika, salt and pepper for a more robust flavor. I did taste the lime and crisp onion. The shrimp ceviche was a nice surprise. The flavors were robust and unique to any ceviche I have ever had. I also make ceviche regularly. I would say ceviche enthusiasts should make it a point to have this dish. The Service: the food came out fast. The order was accurate and the Waitress was friendly and professional. I sat outside to enjoy the day. It was a low traffic hour which made it nice and calm at sun set. Parking: when coming from route 9 south it can be a little difficult to get in if you miss the entrance as there are two exit only areas. I usually tie the road behind the dealership to get in for safety purposes. If you are coming up route 9n take the left at the light where old Hopewell and rout 9 meet and make a quick right. The toyota dealership should now be on your right and hertiage is right after on your right for a safe entrance in to the parking lot. Pricing: Expect to pay 5 star prices. The food and drinks are expensive. Most of the entrees I have had are good but in order for me to give them a 5 star rating I would need to feel confident all of the dishes are robust in flavors and unique. I haven't that consistency in experience.
Heritage has such a great atmosphere! Such a great place for photos and friends. The service for everyone seems excellent, but Josh was phenomenal! He was ON IT the whole time we were there. Thank you, Josh. Josh deserves a raise. The food we chose was 3 stars, though. The chicken and waffles: chicken was a touch dry, but the flavor was great, the waffles were lukewarm and greasy barely had any flavor. The steak and eggs were great, but the potatoes were not great. The bottomless mimosas are definitely worth it (but they could use more champagne). The cinnamon roll was small and needed more cinnamon. The cookie dessert was GREAT! Can’t give enough complements to the staff and service! The kitchen yelling for runners wasn’t exactly great...I’d change that .
Went to Heritage for the first time this weekend, the food was great but the service was even better. Sarah W. was attentive, engaging, and prompt. I never leave reviews good or bad but mainly it’s because this day and age service is mostly terrible. Every waitress should emulate Sarah.
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and the food was very good. He got the prime rib. My daughter got the mac and cheeseburger and I got a crispy pork dish. The ambiance is very beautiful in this restaurant. It can get very loud when there are a lot of people. There are longer than usual wait times but other than that it was a very good experience.
Decided to try out this place for a bday. They have a nice menu and nice drinks as well. We tried a little bit of everything on the appetizer menu. Most of us tried some versions of their salads. Overall they were pretty good. Someone tried lamb meal bit the lamb was fried. Ot was okay. Biggest thing to improve on is their food delivery. It took them 45 minutes to get is the appetizers and another 30 minutes for main meals. This was for a party of 10.
It was good. We enjoyed it, the service was good. Our waitress was really nice and helpful. The food while it was good was a bit lacking as far as the ingredients, my burger was literally pickles and a ton of sauce. So much sauce my burger slid off the bun while trying to eat it. No big deal at all really it was good but the pickles were a bit much. The menu seemed a bit limited to but a few entrees, i would have liked a bit more variety per type of dish. Not just two pasta dishes, seafood dish, one burger and one chicken sandwich. Make a few of each kind. Thats all...overall we liked it.
**Update** I visited here a second time for brunch and it was still just as good as the first. The spinach choke artichoke dip is outstanding. The breakfast flatbread is tasty and the burger is well seasoned/cooked. Cocktails are tasty and well-made.** I was hesitant about coming here for the longest time based on the mixed reviews, but a friend wanted to come here to celebrate her new job so four of us went last Sunday for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised and overall really enjoyed the food and experience. Our server, Kailynn, was great. She was friendly and attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. We got there early and drinks and food arrived quickly. We ordered a few appetizers and entrées and I tried two different cocktails, and I don’t have a complaint about any of the dishes. I love spicy drinks so I started out with the Slow Burn cocktail and it was delicious, perfectly spicy without being overwhelming and also refreshing. For my second drink, I had the Snowing in Miami, which was also delicious and well crafted. I’m a completely amateur mixologist at home and I appreciate a well-made drink with no mixers or too much sweetness. We ordered several appetizers, including the sweet potato hush puppies, and the crispy pork belly. The hush puppy was well cooked and crisp on the outside, creamy and smooth on the inside and overall a nice dish. The crispy pork belly was outstanding. It was meaty, full of umami, both salty & sweet and the cool slaw on top was perfect. For entrées, I had the waffle and fried chicken. The chicken was a bit dark, but overall it was very well seasoned and the waffle was delicious although I would deduct a point because it was served with pancake syrup and not pure maple syrup. They really think about the extra touches that tie all the flavors together and the honey butter on the salty chicken was perfect. I tried a bite of my friend’s BEC flatbread and again, it was delicious. It was a nice contrast of textures and flavors, and the paprika aïoli was well seasoned without being too smoky or spicy. By the time we finished around 12:45, the restaurant was quite busy. We all enjoyed our food and I would definitely visit again with my family. Hopefully my next experience is as good as the first. I was curious to try the unlimited mimosas, but unfortunately had to drive so next time.
I want to give 5 stars but I can’t this time. I ordered the brunch burger med rare. I understand it’s busy but my aioli was forgotten and my bacon was so dried it was bacon chips. My burger was well done and fries were lukewarm like it sat under a heat lamp. The bartender quickly fixed both issues and I kept the burger. The fries had amazing flavor and the burger flavor was amazing in itself. I tried the fried chicken and waffles. Mannnn I tell you the chicken is where it’s at. It’s flavorful and juicy. Definitely flavortown. The waffle was a standard waffle and it came with butter. Overall the chicken and waffles is a bit. You’re getting a leg and thighs not chicken tenders. The bartender was amazing as the mimosas kept flowing and the Old Fashioned was strong right where you need it to be. Overall this place is a hit and I’ll definitely be back.
The place is very nice. Service is very attentive and friendly. I loved the selection of local beers and ciders. They have around 8 draft beers and a couple dozen bottled. Food is ok but not spectacular. We found the seasonings a bit unbalanced. The shredded lamb birria was ok but the salsa was missing a bit of kick. The roasted chicken portion was so large that it was Difficult to eat.

Super friendly staff. Very good range of dishes. Some of the chicken dishes were disappointingly dry.
food was very good. Small portions and an hour wait with very little people in the restaurant in our area at least. Not worth the money I think. Will not come back.
I’ve visited this place a few times for lunch, dinner, and brunch, but the food has consistently been disappointing. The brunch dishes were overcooked, dry, and barely edible, while the lunch salmon was salty. Their kids food must have been better. The twins loved their broccoli, french fries and grilled cheese. We also had dessert their cheesecake and chocolate cupcakes. We only had a few bites and took the rest home with us. Despite the food quality, it remains a popular spot for gatherings— great location, parking is ok, well lit and the drinks are cool. Not a place at the top of the list in the Hudson Valley but not a place I wouldn’t meet up with a friend or colleague.
Service was great, and the ambiance was very nice. Food and drinks: not impressed at all! Especially not at those prices. The "I'd smoke that" with mezcal is a BIG no. That's for sure. Apart from that, we had some good plates and others no so much. We had to send one main back because it was extremely salty. The waiter and the manager apologized about it and offered to make something else. That was very nice. Also, it was removed from the check. But at the end, I left the place not feeling like I wanted to come back. 😕
Made a reservation for dinner and was seated quickly upon arrival. Hostess was kind. The food for the most part was okay but unfortunately was cold when it got to us after waiting a long time for it to begin with. The carrots were drenched in oil and tasted more like bacon than carrots. My kids chicken nuggets were over fried but he was hungry so ate them. The service wasn’t great we had to keep waiving our waitress down she didn’t really check up on us or give us updates as to why our food was taking long . Overall it was overpriced and not worth it. Would not recommend
First time trying this place and we went based on all the great reviews. The food was good but it took way too long. It was not a busy night and by time we had gotten our dinner, we had been there for a hour. Waiting a hour for 2 simple meals is too long. The wait staff was ok and didn’t acknowledge that we hadn’t gotten our meal yet.
The food here is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Everything we tried tasted amazing. The only downside is the service, which can be pretty slow. If you come hungry and expect to eat quickly, you might get frustrated by the wait. Overall, definitely worth visiting for the food, but be prepared to take your time.

So I decided to try this place a 2nd time because the 1st time my food wasn't cooked properly. Sure enough this 2nd time wasn't any better. The service is not bad, atmosphere is not bad but my chicken sandwich was raw. I took 3 bites until I realized it wasn't even cooked. If you do eat here just make sure your food is cooked. 2 times for me and I'm done. I will never come back.
First our waiter Daniella was wonderful. I’d really love to talk about this food though, my pan seared salmon taste like I bit the grill. It was a group of 6 and only 1/6 enjoyed their meal. My friend also had hair in her salad, now she’s currently burning her throat with ginger shots. I would love to give the chef some recommendations moving forward, email me if you are interested in my services.
We booked this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday at the recommendation of a friend. The ambiance and decorations were beautiful. Ordered the cauliflower, pork belly, croquettes, and mussels appetizers. All delicious. Things took a turn when the service and attention completely disappeared after ordering our food. Our food took almost an hour to come out. My friend ordered a steak medium well, and it came out rare. She sends it back and comes back medium at best after 20 minutes, even though, at this point, the restaurant is practically empty. Our food was ok. I ordered the chicken Caesar Milanese, but having the appetizers outshine entirely the main dish felt anticlimactic. We constantly asked where our waiter was for one reason or another, whether because we needed water or wanted a dessert menu. Despite spending our money at their restaurant, we resorted to relaying our requests through the busboy since we were obviously not in good graces with the waitstaff. Your mileage may vary if you luck out and go on a night with more attentive and professional staff on duty, but on Sunday, the 13th of October, we did not have such luck. They also left the steak on the bill despite getting it wrong twice. That aside, when we finally were able to flag someone down for a dessert menu and then finally able to flag someone down again to order, the desserts were fantastic. Had the Apple Crisp, Sundae, chocolate cake, and Cookie and Ice cream. All delicious, but the chocolate cake was maybe too rich for some. This is a decent spot that could use improvement in its service and treatment of clients.
I went here as a special birthday brunch with some friends and I was very disappointed. Although absolutely gorgeous and very trendy, the prices were astronomical compared to the food quality. $19 for chicken and waffles? Seriously? I'll admit that their waffles are good, but definitely not 20 bucks good and their chicken left A LOT to be desired. I was really exited for hashbrows and although the presentation was on point, the texture was mush. Who wants mushy hashbrowns? The sauce was good though. The honey butter chips were.. eh. Not bad, but not my cup of tea. Overall, not worth the money.
Recently made the trek out to HFD after being interested by their menu for a bit of time now.... unfortunately this was a bit a letdown. Let me explain 👇 Me and company arrived for lunch on a weekday looking to try some of the exciting options we had read about. And from the exterior the place looked modern and inviting. Inside the layout is a little odd but it feels sleek and gives off an upscale vibe. Sadly the food and experience don't match the decor. We were seated promptly and while the restaurant was rather empty it was really loud. Not an issue just a little strange. The service didn't seem all that interested in serving and at first we were confused who our actual waiter was. We ordered an app and a few mains plus lemonade which were heavy on the lemon sour side but ok. The french onion meatballs were the best thing we ordered and that app felt disjointed as the whole thing together kinda sorta made since but not really. Our mains were a mixed bag... The ceaser salad w/crispy pork was not what my company was expecting when it arrived and there was no relay by the waitstaff as to what the dishes we order were so we kinda just winged it. She was hoping for crispy pork belly but got a schnitzel style breaded patty under the salad w/all the dressing. I ordered a smashburger which was a far cry from a REAL smashburger. I mean the patties weren't even smashed down w/ parchment to create those crispy edges and the whole thing was a grease bomb that tasted like a dirty griddle. Major letdown at this spot and I dnt think we'll be returning. I mean everything was edible but it just felt off and missed the mark.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff was kind and attentive, but unfortunately the food didn’t live up to what the menu promised or to the price point. I ordered the braised pork gnocchi. The gnocchi were good, but the “pork ragu” was extremely disappointing. There was one piece of pork in the entire dish, and the sauce tasted like a basic vodka sauce rather than a slow-braised ragu. I couldn’t see or taste fennel, and there was no ricotta salata as described. My husband ordered the crispy chicken vodka parm. The chicken was crispy as advertised, but pasta wasn’t included, it had to be added for another $8 on top of a $27 entrée, which felt excessive for what was served. What really stood out is that we recently had gnocchi at a chain restaurant in the Crystal Run Galleria that was more flavorful, more generous, and actually matched its description. That shouldn’t be the case when dining somewhere presenting itself as elevated Hudson Valley cuisine. The experience felt more “menu fancy” than actually fancy. Elevated wording without the substance to back it up. We chose to go tonight instead of Valentine’s Day because the prix fixe menu looked limited, and after this visit I’m honestly relieved. Spending $80 per person for a similar experience would have been incredibly frustrating. Beautiful space, kind staff, but the food didn’t justify the cost and the menu didn’t match what arrived at the table.

On entry the host was not friendly at.all . The wait staff was nice.until we sent the "Shorty" drink back which tasted like milk and water. She then never came back to check on us or ask if we needed anything. I am very disappointed being my first time . With a party of 7 it is their loss cause we will not be going back there . Food is over priced and tasteless ...
Food not to good. Waited a long time just for the waiter to tell me that the mussels where sold out then the chicken pepper wings she brought to the table came out burnt and looked like the inside wasn’t cooked big as turkey wings. Won’t go back
First time here, by far the food presentation is well done. Once you bite into the food there is no flavor . The chicken wings had no seasoning and even with the sauce it taste so bad. The Brussels sports are really good that’s why they got a one star. Overall the food is not so great. Overall the restaurant is very nice and great staff, but the food needs major work.
You wouldn't be surprised with all these negative reviews within one day on Yelp, should've read and trusted the reviews. This place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. To start, the host in the front had attitude. We reserved a table and were seated on a table inside but it was straight down from the door where the door was opened and it was super cold for us. We requested to switch to another table since we saw many booths opened, but he just said no because they were reserved. That would've been fine, we did see 1 table with a reserved sign, but there were 4-5 booths in our sight that even by the end of our table, were never occupied and no one was ever seated on them. We kept getting reminders on resy that there was a 15 min grace period so I'm not sure why those tables weren't released if they were really actually reserved. The door stayed open for most of our time there until 2/3 into the dinner. They never offered to close the doors on a night where it was barely 50° out and your customer is telling you it's cold. Should've known this was a sign. Onto the food, we ordered all apps and entrees together for the table. Half the food came out cold, tasted terrible and was super dry. The "crispy lamb" was in fact shredded lamb meat that was so so dry and looked like dog food. The mushrooms were so salty, there was no way we could eat it without drinking water after. EVERY single dish had these pickled Fresno chilies in them which was super weird, not sure why the same thing was on 8 different dishes. The seafood boil also wasn't too fresh and made our stomachs uncomfortable after. All of the meal was just a bust. I would say the general Taos cauliflower was okay, if only it wasn't half cold on the inside. The worst was when all the apps came out, all the sides, and every single entree came out, except ONE. It was my birthday dinner and we were excited to try this place but was thoroughly disappointed. All the apps, sides and every entree on the table came out. The waitress kept saying it would come out next, never did. Everyone on the table finished their entrees and after 30 mins, my entree STILL did not come out. By that time, I didn't even want the entree anymore, ended up having to cancel it bc of how long it took. I never got my own entree on my own birthday dinner, what great service. It would've been fine if there was a delay but the waitress told me 3 times repeatedly it was out next and said it was SOON. If she told me from the start it wasn't available or there was an issue, I would've ordered something else or switched it, I was never given that option and just sat there while everyone was eating.
Disappointed and disgusted. I ordered the Ribeye Prime Rib French Dip Sandwich. The presentation was good. But in the first bite I was confused as to what I was crunching through. I assumed it was an uncooked onion. Bite two I had the same experience and quickly realized it was all uncooked, hard fat. I opened the sandwich and over 75% of the ‘meat’ was hard uncooked fat. I pealed what little meat was there, off the fat. And ate the bread separately. I brought this to the managers attention and they mentioned they no longer serve the ribeye by itself because of complaints of fat. The chef should have never served this abomination of a sandwich. I can’t believe a chef would even put this on a plate. Additionally, portion sizes were very small especially for the price being charged. Finally, all the fabric on the booths are falling apart at the seams. My family and I won’t be coming back in the future.
We’ve never had an issue eating here until today. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated promptly, but our server, Daniella, (young lady with glasses) spoke to us with an unnecessarily sharp tone. When our father asked a simple question, she responded with, “I don’t think you guys were waiting too long, but I can go check,” which came off as dismissive (smart mouth). Our food took an hour to arrive because the staff was focused on serving a larger party. We understand that big groups require attention, but we are customers as well. Throughout the wait, we received no updates on our order. Instead, we were given a “complimentary chickpea” appetizer, something we didn’t ask for and didn’t fully make up for the lack of communication. Overall, this experience was sadly really disappointing, especially given that we’ve had good visits in the past. I don’t think my family and I will be coming back. I’m sure she knows who we are once she reads this comment. Respectfully
We thought we’d give them a try despite the 4.2 rating! Usually we do not try restaurants with 4.3 and lower no matter what. We should have stuck with that rule. Waiter apologized for service being delayed due to large party at the bar. However….waitstaff to include our waiter were just laligagging in the kitchen which is visible to all! (Pictures below) We finally received our meals that were atrocious! The deviled eggs for apps were sour and tart. Waiter stated that they’re a best seller, insisting to remake. We declined. Only dish that was not bland, sour, or filled with grease and edible was the beet salad. Cocktail, after being replaced with “correct drink” was decent. Process with caution.
