Our family loves Harry’s! It’s the best weekend brunch spot in Northern VA. Our teenagers and young kids all love Harry’s “all you can eat” brunch style dining, offering multiple platefuls of both healthy and sweet options. My favorite brunch item is their eggs benedict. We’ve had dinner there as a family, too. The burgers and meat are good. I think it’s fresh meat from their farm. This spot has a beautiful patio venue outside that is first come first serve. The patio is an ideal location for an adult date night. My wife and I watched the Kentucky Derby at Harry’s last year in the bar area. We began outside on the patio and transitioned inside for the race. The crowd was fun indoors, and there were more than enough TVs to watch the race. In general, Arlie is a busy place during warm months capable of hosting multiple weddings on their property. We could hear a wedding party pumping music off in the distance one evening this past Fall. In the Spring we saw high school prom goers one evening. After our brunch excursion, our family enjoyed walking the property through their garden maze, checking out the bamboo forest, and riding bicycles for fun.
Don’t come here—unless you want the best service, the most inviting atmosphere, and a level of cleanliness that puts even your grandma’s kitchen to shame. Don’t even think about it—unless you’re ready for a brunch so good, it ruins all other brunches for you. This place isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. The food? Flawless. The staff? Attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance? Like stepping into a scene from a luxury lifestyle magazine. So, if you’re just looking for an average meal, keep scrolling. But if you’re ready for the best—the kind of brunch that makes you rethink every meal you’ve ever had—then this is exactly where you need to be. Go hungry, leave amazed.
I had been meaning to come here for a while, but thought they were only open seasonally. Harry's is now open year round! Atmosphere is awesome outside. Burgers were 10/10. Great service. I'll be back fairly often.
Harry’s is a picturesque restaurant set in the middle of Airlie resort. It offers indoor and bar seating and patio seating adjacent to their lake. It’s a very comfortable venue with delicious food. Easy listening Caribbean vibe music was playing. Parking near Harry’s is limited so driver may need to drop off and then drive a bit to park. The crab cake and my reserve burger made from Airlie’s own grass fed beef were very good.
Great hidden gem with just an amazing atmosphere. The food is always great and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Perfect spot for dinner and drinks.
Great first time experience at Harry’s! We went for Sunday Brunch and had a great time. I would definitely recommend the smoked salmon benedict, it was delicious. Spend some time exploring the property if you’re able to, it’s beautiful!
I have to admit that I was a little bit skeptical before going over to Harry's. Places in Warrenton tend to come and go, but after having been there I believe they are here to stay. The service was the best I've experienced in years in Warrenton, comprable to Claire's at the Depot. The beer selection was respectable. The wine selection was also respectable. And the atmosphere was fantastic. Even in the winter they had the outside lights illuminated next to the pond and outside seating available. Please keep it going.... Adding some additional details after having brunch this morning. Don't get there right at 10:00 because they're really just getting started. Instead wait a little bit, and it'll be a little more organized. Still had a wonderful breakfast and atmosphere.
Stopped in for dinner with my mom, we agreed it was the best food we have had in a long time. Those pork belly tostadas so good! We will be back
Nice selection of apps and entrees. Everyone in our party loved the food.
This place is an underrated gem with an incredible scenery and excellent food.
Best location in Fauquier county with a great bar and good tavern food.
Excellent food, excellent service. I stumbled upon this place while looking for places that still had open Valentine’s Day reservations, and was blown away by the delicious food and attentive service! Some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time, and truly top tier service while still maintaining a fairly laid back atmosphere. Only downside was parking was quite limited and we had to walk from a far lot. I hope to return soon!
Harry’s patio is so nice on a pretty day. They have always had a great atmosphere, but I was really impressed with the excellent food and service that we received on our latest visit on a Thursday night. Will definitely be back!
This is the best weekend brunch in Warrenton by several orders of magnitude.
Lovely place altogether. Dishes all marked for gluten and dairy. Good value, delicious food.
Harry's at Airlie was fantastic. My very large and unorganized family of 10 made a reservation for a birthday celebration and the staff could not have been more accommodating and wonderful. Many family members hadn't seen each other for some time or even met before, so we appreciated the kind staff. The food was fantastic, our server was a saint, overall we'd all absolutely go back again. Highly recommend!
The restaurant and the grounds surrounding it are beautiful! The building it's in looks kind of castle-like, with a grand staircase on the front. The food was decent here, although the pasta dishes and Flatbread had far too much garlic. And I am a garlic lover, but it was just way too strong and stuck with me for days. The rum sunrise was a delicious drink! I would try the restaurant again.
Our experience here was absolutely incredible. We came here with my mother-in-law for her birthday everything was wonderful. We sat outside and it was a beautiful day, watching the water and the geese and even a little fox walking around was so relaxing. The scenery and the entire property is so well kept and absolutely beautiful. We got the cheese curds and cauliflower bites to start and they were the best appetizers I've had in a while. My whole family enjoyed their food and dessert was incredible too. They serve moo through ice cream which is delicious but we ordered the lavender honey creme brulee and it was outstanding. 0ur server was pleasant, attentive, and took very good care of us. I can't recommend this place enough!
My wife and I celebrated 22nd anniversary. Dinner was amazing! Best steak I have had in a long time. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service spot on. Definitely recommend Harry’s and we will be back again for sure
The atmosphere and scenery in their outdoor seating area was spectacular. You really feel like you are tucked away at a retreat driving down to the restaurant. On top of the view, the food was really good. We will be back for sure.
Beautiful area, very relaxing. We went for a chapter meeting and sat outside. The service was great, and the appetizers were yummy. Can't beat .25 cent refills on bellinis. Would be a great place for a wedding. They have a hotel with a bride and groom cottages.
Outstanding atmosphere and we didn't know it was in our backyard practically. Service was exceptional. Will be coming back to try more on the menu. 1st time there so holding back on the food until more has been had.
Fantastic food, service, yards, lake....just a beautiful experience. Great, veggie burger and sweet potato fries probably the best I've had outside of my house - although I had to take the cheese off myself after asking to nix it when ordering. My companion had wings, brocolini, macaroni all of which he raved about. Even the lemonade was perfect. Glad we finally made the trip around the corner.
Great spot to stop at after a hike! good selection of hearty food and drinks. Both outdoor and indoor (large room and distanced). A bit loud with music going on, but it was a Saturday night. Staff was nice, fast, and helpful.
Food is exquisite! Water feature is beautiful. Pleasant environment inside and outside.
We had dinner or first night then brunch the next day. Service was excellent both days. What was great were the small details. We tried the beer battered onion rings, they were crispy as expected but the sauce was the twist a smokey and sweet sauce that complimented the rings. The same kind of details were seen in our entrees. My Wife's flatbread with the balsamic glaze was a hit in our group, sweet and savory.
This was a great evening. Been wanting to go for a year and just put it off. Sad we did. Great experience. Caitlynn was our server. She was amazing. Answered questions on food and cocktails. Made recommendations based on what we said we enjoyed. Hard to find these days. Attentive but not hovering. Now fornthe food. The spinach and artichoke fondue is a must have. It is big enough for 4 so definitely sharable. Tonight it was potato and leak soup. We wanted to lick the bowl. Then the build it burger, sautéed mushrooms and onions a great add on. One of best burger I can remember. Sweet potato fries were fresh and perfect. Then the brown butter brownie served in iron skillet for desert. Great place ready to go back for other items. Only negative is first timers will need to navigate the beautiful country property. I had bourbon so all good. My wife's bourbon lemonade was a perfect not to sweet cocktail.
Food is fresh and well seasoned. The staff answered all of my questions and allowed substitutions for my side order. I had the black angus burger and it was worth every penny. It’s a bit more expensive but in my opinion well worth it. The atmosphere is casual the landscaping outside is beautiful. I definitely plan to return.
Came here as a family of four for brunch on a Sunday. Made reservations, though they weren’t very busy when we got there at 11:30AM. But by the time we left, the outdoor seating was almost packed, so be safe and make reservations, if you can. The menu is amazing, so many options that all looked appetizing. I can say that everything we got was nicely made and tasted great! Their burger is definitely really good, you can taste the freshness of the locally raised beef. The bun and everything about it was really nicely done. Right now, they have a seasonal starter of pumpkin beignets which we got… they didn’t resemble the form, nor texture of any beignets we’ve ever gotten, but they sure did taste really good! (We did have to wait quite a while for plates from our server so we could share them though) Their onion rings and fries are both amazing. The dip that comes with the onion rings is so very tasty! Sitting outside is beautiful, right on the pond and they have heaters to help take the cool off when it’s chilly. We’ll definitely return!
Ambiance is the best for a casual day or night out. Our food was great. They are very busy so best to make reservations if you want to sit outdoors when the weather is nice. The views are lively and we went walking through their gardens after dinner. You can also sit under big old oak trees in Adirondack chairs while sipping in your favorite drink.
We enjoyed our dinner at Harry's, the staff was very friendly, service was fast and the calamari was definitely my favorite. Took a beautiful stroll through the courtyard after dinner. Pictured is the crab cake sandwich and the burger.
Went out for a family members anniversary and it was a large party of about 10 people. The service and food was good and as usual. It was also bingo night for a special event there and everyone had a great time. I would have given it a full five Stars however, all of our checks were messed up and we were overcharged and had to really dissect what happened and that was a little bit of a letdown.
Good service. Great atmosphere and lots of pretty views and scenery. Food was good, but didn't have great dinner options. Lots of burgers and sandwiches, but no ribeye. Always serve a ribeye.
Stopped in on a Saturday evening for relaxing dinner. Appetizers came out in a good time, but they seem to swap out listed ingredients on menu items (swapped frisee for arugula on a flatbread). The main Hanger steak entree was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The accompanying sides though were grilled broccoli rabe which had been cooked to mush, and fries that were all between 1/2 inch and 1 inch, neither should have been served. Overall I think they have some strengths, but need better attention to detail.
Harry offers a beautiful outdoor seating that overlooks a pond. Our experience at Harry's was hit or miss. Some things were good, and some were not. Our servers were great. We had the breakfast buffet . Again, hit or miss, and some food items were cold or hard. They also offered Top Golf.. which was fun but the food was not good. We ordered buger and fries, and nachos. The buger was awesome. The fries and nachos were disgusting. The fries were cold, hard, and lacked seasoning. The nachos while the picture is pretty. The taste was not - the chips were stale, cheese cold, and lacking, and added chicken was cold. It wasn't what we expected.
So, this is a very mixed review, because it was a birthday brunch with a large group of women, one of whom was the most obvious woman I'd ever met. This woman made several disparaging comments to the bartender about our server, as well as was passive aggressive at the table, so on the one hand I don't entirely fault the service being not great BUT For brunch, I ended up sitting with my plate in front of me the entire time I was sitting, which included 45 minutes of pure mimosas brunch time. When I went to get a second plate I had to stack that plate on top of the dirty plate or push my dirty plate closer to someone else's food. (I literally paid for my food and signed the check, with dirty dishes stacked in front of me. Unfortunately, due to the slow service it would take the entire table having empty glasses (8 people) for long periods of time, before our server would check on us, and then it would be another 10-15 minutes before we'd get our drinks delivered (which could have been due to understaffing, our server seemed to have a few large parties). I ordered two rounds of mimosas (I paid for three, but mostly because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting the extra one removed), and the total for brunch and three mimosas was $80. If that's how much I'm paying for brunch, I expect the service to be better. The brunch food was tasty, but for $35, I would expect more options, as it was pretty limited. I think, overall, I would call this experience a mulligan and give it a fair shake at a do-over. There were a lot of variables that effected this review;
It's always the Hidden Gem in town yet out of town. It's always a wonderful experience
We came with a large party. You would think with reservations for large parties they would make sure enough food was available on the buffet. We waited for a number of items to be replentished, the smoked salmon was put out after our meal was finished.
Probably one of the most disappointing restaurants I’ve ever been to. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer (not pictured) and it came with only 6 triangles of pita bread to dip in it. Mind you, the dip itself was a LOT in comparison. We asked the waitress if we could get more bread, but it would’ve been $3 extra per serving (6 triangles). We declined because obviously, that’s not worth paying an extra $3 for. For my main I ordered the pork belly flatbread and a side of fries. The flatbread was okay. It was just a basic flatbread and the pork belly was probably what made it $15. However, the FRIES were the worst part. For $6, they were not fresh and tasted old with a stale texture. You can even kind of tell in the picture. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just threw it back in the fryer or microwave to reheat them. Will not be coming back again.
The bartender was great. No problems with that. I got my meal 25 mins after my husband got his meal. We had to get back to a babysitter so couldn’t even eat it and had to take it to go. You’d think you can get a drink or a round on the house for literally sitting there without a meal. Nope.
The first time we came here it was for their all you can eat brunch and it’s not cheap. It was about $35 a person and my expectations of it were high and I was let down. The food was not that fresh, and there were bugs all over it. I would think that if it’s that expensive, they would have some covers over the food to help protect it, the ground itself were very beautiful. I will give them that the atmosphere was nice. I wanted to give them another chance and we came back for their lunch menu. The food was all inconsistent. Some of the fries were burnt. Some others weren’t. They didn’t cook the burgers to our liking. And there were stink bugs, everywhere, inside and outside on their patio. It was just not a pleasant experience, having bugs, crawling all over the food, and on you. The service was very, very slow that day as well. Apparently, when they have weddings , they have to use their staff and food, which probably led to the service being extremely slow. There were three weddings occurring at that same time, so if they know there are weddings then you need to staff your restaurant appropriately. honestly, I will not be coming back here, it is expensive and is absolutely not worth the money at all unless they hire more people and up their standards on the food. Go somewhere else if you have standards.
Brunch was expensive for the quality of the food. Most of it was bland and cold. The bread used for the eggs benedict and french toast was too hard to cut, the potatoes and eggs were boring. The online menu is inaccurate - brunch is now $35/person and mimosas are $12/person (for the skinniest mimosa glass I’ve ever seen). They also got rid of the 25 cent mimosa refills. We spent over $100 for two people and could have spent much less for better food somewhere else. Definitely expected way more from a place like this!
We, unfortunately, wouldn't know about the food because after 20 minutes we left. No one spoke to us and it was acknowledged that we sat down but the two tables that were already in the dining area were the only tables approached. When we told the hostess upstairs, there was what seemed to be a manager standing next to her, he didn't say a word, and made her apologize on her own.
The setting is great beautiful grounds and outside seating but the food is not. Fries are cold and stale. Shrimp pasta was swimming in oil and the burger was not good. Service was really slow.
We dined at Harry’s last night. Living in the area we like to support local restaurants instead of chain. Sadly, it will be a while before we return there. I ordered a rockfish blt and couldn’t eat it because the fish tasted about a week past when it should have been served. I was nauseous all evening with that taste in my mouth. Also our fries were so salty you could feel the salt covering them and they were inedible. Our server was great but very busy we didn’t bother her with our complaints plus at that point I couldn’t have eaten anything else I was so put off. We hope it was a one time thing and others can enjoy it. The setting is lovely and it would be great if the food matched the experience. One bright side is the drinks were fantastic. I may return for a cocktail!
Went on a Friday night with a 6:00 PM reservation for a party of 5. Hostess didn't seem to realize we had a reservation but was able to seat us. At 6:25 we were approached by a staff member with 2 appetizers that were not ours. I told him they couldn't be ours because we haven't been approached by any of the wait staff yet. He stated he would get us someone to take our order. For the next 5 minutes we continued to be ignored by the wait staff. At 6:30 my wife went to the hostess and informed her that we still have not been approached by any wait staff. She asked where we were seated and told my wife she would get some one out. The wait staff continued to walk by us with out stopping to acknowledge us. Finally at 6:35 we got up and left without having any interaction with the wait staff. No water, drink orders taken or any interaction at all in 35 minutes. Extrem ely disappointed experience.
We went there last night for a birthday celebration. We were part of a party of 6. My husband and I both ordered the chopped Caesar salad and added chicken on one and steak on the other. The salads arrived and had frozen tomatoes on them. We told the waiter and he said he would replace them. He brought out two new salads without any steak or chicken on them and we were told that we would have to remove the meat from our old salads and add them to our new ones in order to avoid an “up charge”. Unfortunately, the replacement salads also had frozen tomatoes on them. We alerted the manager and she apologized and said she would have new salads made. By that time the rest of our party had already finished their meals, so we told her not to bother because we were ready to leave. It was the most disappointing dining experience we have had in a long time. I will NOT be returning to that restaurant.
This is a beautiful location that we chose for homecoming dinner. Tried to take a few pics before dinner and was talked to like we were committing a crime. Staff at premises and restaurant were very rude and unfriendly. Worst experience for parents and young adults just trying to have a memorable experience. Do not recommend. Not an establishment that is worth visiting.
The food here is so incredibly bland. Please season it better. We ordered the corn jalapeño bacon fritters and they were incredibly bland. There seemed to be no bacon or jalapeños in them, just bread and corn. Then for my main I got the bass and it was overpowered with peas and had zero seasoning or sauce. This place is so cute, but they need to improve their food.
Sunday brunch here is a disaster. $35 for what tasted like leftovers—overcooked poached eggs, oily croissants, rubbery cheese, dried-out bacon, and a biscuit so hard it could break teeth. The regular menu is fine, but avoid the brunch. There’s a reason we were the only three people in the place.
