Breakfast stop on our way to Lake Charleston. My first ever steak and eggs and it was delicious. Why did I wait so long to try steak for breakfast??? Good meal, unique nostalgia, don't go asking for a Pepsi.. lol Service was wonderful and pleasant. And very very clean!!!! My type of place. We will definitely be making it our new breakfast break when we travel to Canada

Food came out quick and was delicious! I consider myself a gravy connoisseur and their gravy was amazing. Also, our server Jennifer was very kind and helpful with the menu. I'll definitely have to come back soon:)

Lovely retro place. Walking in the door feels like traveling into the past. From the juke box to the pictures and memorabilia. Even the color scheme inside is mostly white with a black and red accent. Most importantly the food is good and a wide variety. The only downside is they don't have leaner options like turkey bacon or turkey sausage etc. But if you know that going in you won't be disappointed. And the prices are pretty cheap. We had breakfast for a family of 6 and paid less than $70 whereas if we had gone to a Denny's or IHOP it would be no less than $100.

The environment was exactly what I wanted when I went to this diner. It was just that, a diner that reminds one of a nostalgic time. We received some of the best customer service here and largely due to such a great waiter. He was phenomenal and professional. The food was great for me and not so good for my wife. My black and blue burger was cooked to perfection and they added an over easy egg for me at no extra charge. (I didn’t want the onions and lettuce hence it looking basic.) It was delicious! The fries needed some salt but other than that they were very good. The milkshake I got on my way out was one of the best vanilla milkshakes I have had in a long time. My wife’s chicken pesto wrap looked really good but the red peppers didn’t mesh well with it. Even though her wrap wasn’t awesome - the atmosphere and service warranted a five star review.

Very cool, 50's vibe restaurant, there's even a 57 Chevy sitting out front. Is ample parking right off the interstate exit. Skip the chain restaurant right across the street this place was fantastic! I set at the bar and within seconds Paula arrived with menu and coffee in hand. My coffee cup was never empty during the whole meal. I ordered the steak and eggs with home fries and toast. I ordered the steak medium rare but it came well done not that big a deal it was still very tasty. My only complaint is that it was a New York strip I would have much rather had a thin cut breakfast Rib Eye. Bottom line, food was excellent, the vibe was excellent and Paula was excellent. I'm just sad that I'm just discovering this place, 3 weeks in to a 4 week trip.

Tried this place for the first time today and I loved it! Food came out in a timely manner even though it was busy and food was great! Really love their home fries, better than other places homefries. We usually go to longways for our usual weekend breakfast but I think we'll start going here! Server brought butter, ketchup & syrup without even having to ask! Only complaint is my husband's eggs Benedict was so overcooked that it was like a boiled egg. My breakfast was great though(I got the big breakfast platter). Highly recommend :)

This place is always busy, so we decided to try it. Everything we got was really good. It's a diner - don't expect more! But for diner it's pretty good. The cheesy fries we got extra crispy, and they were really good. We noted that they did not scimp on anything. The pasta salad as a side is fully loaded. We will come back.

My Wife had the hot to trot - a spicy omelet with onions, peppers, mushrooms and bacon and a side of crispy hash. I had a western, also with a side of crispy hash. The food was very good (It was one of the best cooked canned hash we have found locally), our waitress Paula was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, and everything was served hot and properly cook. We have eaten here before but this was the best meal we have had. We will be back again.

haven’t been here in years so decided to stop for breakfast on a Saturday morning.place was very busy for a lack of good diners in Watertown. I was seated right away and my order came out pretty quick considering how busy they were.the eggs and link sausage were good but the toast is coated with some nasty tasting whipped oil also called margarine.why can’t they use real butter?? I tried a half order of biscuits and gravy that wasn’t that good.prices are very reasonable though.Watertown needs another good diner!!

The line at the door took about 10 minutes while there were clearly a few open tables. The home fries were bland. The kids Mac and cheese is clearly day old boxed Mac n cheese that they warm up in a microwave. The first serving they brought out was burned, the second wasn’t much better. Even my kids that loves Mac n cheese wouldn’t eat it. The service was pretty good after seated and the front staff was friendly with our kids.

We came here based on the mass amounts of positive reviews, and left feeling underwhelmed. There was a wait for a table when we arrived around noon on Monday, so we made ourselves known to the hostess and went back into the foyer to sit instead of crowding the doorway. After 10 minutes of waiting we re-entered and noticed that groups arriving after us were seated first. The hostess apologized for forgetting about us. I got Eggs Benedict, that were nearly hard boiled and contained egg shell (more than shown in the picture). The waitress didn't seem to really care, and didn't offer any apologies. Overall, we don't plan on going back. There was no redeeming factor. Hopefully we were the small percentage of 'ok' experiences.

I am Not sure what is people eating here and raving about it. I ordered the fish fillet and the fish was actually hard. Yeah, hard and at the same time flaky. What kind of fish is hard and flaky at the same time? Fries are breaded nothing special here. Coleslaw was good, service sucked, really sucked. 26 minutes to take my order and 25 minutes to receive the food. Short staffed? Who knows. I will not be going back.
