First the good. There was plenty food for a little over ten bucks. The String Bean Chicken, Broccoli Beef and Fried Rice weren't bad. The chicken in the Orange Chicken was good, but overall was soggy, not crispy enough and needed more orange. The hunt for good Orange Chicken in Waxahachie continues. Service was very good, music drowned out by mechanical noise, probably just A/C running, it is after all, summer in North Texas. Cheers.

They have these fantastic high protein plates/choices now. They're PERFECT for me since I'm a diabetic & need protein & less carbs. The prices are VERY reasonable. For 2 of us to eat a healthy, relatively "fast food" for $20 is right for our budget. Thank you, Panda Express

Huge panda fan , I think the only problem with this particular one is not enough customers causing the food items to ultimately have to sit for longer period of times. Beijing beef,orange chicken and beef and broccoli with lomein is where it's at my wife and kids love the fried rice and teriyaki chicken, everything is good not real Chinese but still on point and cheap

Food was excellent and service wasn't bad by any means but it wasn't very memorable, either. A large portion of the menu wasn't available when we got there around 10 minutes after opening and had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for our food choices to be ready. I'm not sure if this is due to covid or not, but thought it was worth mentioning. I would still recommend eating here, regardless of the small nitpicks.

Generally speaking, no real issues. The food is typical panda and the staff is generally friendly. They have occasionally forgotten stuff from my order like the teriyaki sauce when I got the chicken, but overall, it's panda. You should expect the taste to be traditional panda and your interactions with staff since they aren't doing dine in right now to be fairly limiting.

Panda Express is a good choice for a quick bite. They have a nice selection to choose from using fresh ingredients. At the Waxahachie location they service you quick so you usually never have a wait. Everytime we go though all or most of the tables are dirty so you have to wipe one off yourself or ask them to clean it. On this last visit I just took the first table in front of me and sat down. My husband ordered and brought the food to the table. Then there was one associate stocking the drink fountain lids before going to clean off the tables. Other than that it's a good experience.

The quality of food and staff has dropped. Always out of something. The order has been wrong more times than right. Often you are asked to park and wait longer to get your order. I have stopped going because of these issues. Food is okay. Sure other disagree with my opinion and that's fine. Not a go to place for us.

Scheduled a mobile order for inside pick up. Had it down for a 715p pick up. On my way there I had another request for a bowl so I went through the drive thru at 705p. I mentioned the mobile order they said we will get started on it. They gave me the bowl and told me to wait in the front for the rest of the order. So I waited till 725p and I went inside to see what was the hold up. They said the chicken ran out so cooking up a new batch and it's about to come out in one minute so they said. Well it took they 5 more minutes to plate my meals. So not the best experience

3 times in a row a go to drive in and order a bowl with orange chicken and fried rice and get the same chow mean with orange chicken. What's going on here? Drive in can't listen to what I am saying or they don't have the product. This makes me very upset.

The worst customer service ever. Gave me the wrong order. And then told me they don't have a string bean chicken bowl. Obviously he did not know the menu. It upset me so badly the way he just tried ignore me even after I blew my horn. Five minutes later ten cars behind me he came to the window. Finally got my order right. It's a shame bring my grand daughters here once a week. I guess we will find a new place to eat.

I only come here because my son likes it but if they tell me to park out front again so they can give their time clock good customer service instead of their actual customers I done. Its 5:21 and they have to make more food. No one behind me but they told me to park out front and wait for them to bring it out. The parking lot is tight thats why we go thru the drive thru. Stop servicing your time clock and serve your customers!!! Only one puts money in your pocket and its gonna stop if you cant figure that out. I cant be the only one that finds this to be annoying.

I have eaten at tons of fast food places, But tonight was the worst the food was burnt and old asked if they were going to make new and and you would have thought I asked for her first born I have never meat someone as rude has this girl as we sat and ate the fresh food I watched this girl be rude to other customers. And no I did not ask to speak to the manager because she was standing right beside her the whole time. And did nothing about it. And you wonder why we can’t keep a restaurant in town

I had the bigger plate and one of my entrees was missing if I wanted a plate I would’ve ordered that so I spent additional money on something that I never received and DoorDash refused to compensate me. Panda and DoorDash genuinely needs to do better

This place had horrible customer service. We came to eat right at 9:00 p.m a hour before they closed. The food was mostly empty bowls with scrapings in them an the employees didn't even acknowledge that we were there. We drove 20 minutes just for Panda Express very disappointing....

There’s a Reason this place has a 3.7 rating and going down. It’s TERRIBLE and consistently TERRBLE at that. Of course they were out of Kung Pao Chicken and it was a 10-15 minute wait. It’s 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon, how are you out of product, consistently?? So I order black pepper angus steak. They should’ve called it “GRISTLE and broccoli STEMS”!!! I’ll Just stop going to this place and go to Red Oak. CONSISTENTLY TERRIBLE for a long time!!!

I went to get lunch there was a mother and daughter in front of me that ordered, I was next and a different person behind the counter asked who was next not even looking at me, I said I’m here I’m next and she put her hand up at me and said I was makings sure, I was the only one standing there other people were walking in, I was so shocked, I said oh no and walked out. Drive thru cashier was rude and I had to go back because they forgot to put one of my bowls in the bag. When I got home and started to eat we all noticed our lo-mein was burn to the point even the noodles that weren’t burned you still could taste it.

Yesterday me and my mother were really hungry after not eating all day it was 9:00 pm we went into the drive through and we sit there for 15 minutes waiting and seeing the girl infront of us getting her food all of a sudden they turn off all the lights on us and we are stuck so we have no choice but to jump the wall on the side of the drive through our truck and my front passenger side is sideways and we have a lot of damages and yet we never ate I am super frustrated coming from a state away and yet I couldn’t even get dinner and have to pay thousands of dollars for yalls ignorance also they weren’t supposed to close till 10 witch I find very ironic after I make this review they change the time how funny 🤣😡

Went in at 845 cooks were cleaning all food on serving table was almost empty, was told by cashier they could cook anything we wanted it would take 10 mins. So we asked for Sweetfire Chicken, Beijing Beef and Chow Mein. She asked the cook for chow mein he just looked at her and said oh were out. She asked if we wanted fried rice, we said that's fine. She asked again what the main dish items were and we told her again sweet fire chicken, and again the cook just looked at her and said were out of that too all while he was cleaning. Worst customer service ever so rude and disrespectful love how they clean way before closing guess the cook had a date. On a Friday night. 03/31/17

Terrible experience had all broccoli in my beef broccoli and when I came in from drive thru to complain about it the manager only wanted to let me know their policy is 1 piece of beef to 2 pieces of broccoli. I asked her to explain "all" broccoli and sauce as I poured it into a plate. She replaced it and didnt say anything else. I was thinking at least an apology maybe, but nope.

They no longer have any idea of customer service. Two weeks ago waited in car 20 minutes for order when they said they would bring it out. It was sitting on a shelf. Today, ordered online for pickup. All doors locked. Had to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru to get the order.

Customer service is non-existent. They have messed up orders we make in the drive thru. They normally run out of food during normal business hours. Wife just had to go back, they totally screwed up the order. Guess we will be going to the one in Midlothian from now on.

Duck this place, they charge you premium for everything, order a bowl and everything is extra $1.50 on the top of your bowl or plate, asked for a bottled water and they refuse to sell that to me cause those were reserved to big meal or happy meals, had to order a small drink with it was almost $3, by the time I was ready to pay my bill was $18 for one item plate with an awful sweet tea, this restaurant sucks bad and them ladies are very rude, never going back to that stablishment!

Ordered a 2 item combo. Missing the orange chicken. When I called they said that they were busy so that is why they missed it. This is the 3rd time they have made a mistake. Won’t go back there or order from there again.

Always out of menu items and will not make more. Got a bowl with rice, wanted brown rice no brown rice, wanted Dr pepper, no Dr pepper. Got the bowl and it was mainly all rice, 5 small pieces of chicken spread out on top to make it look right, it was not!!!

Can I give less than one star? They need to get it together over there, waited way too long and when I asked for sauce for our meals all I got was a single soy sauce packet!! Not worth driving BACK across town just because someone didn't DO THEIR JOB... Pathetic need to pay attention!

I enjoy Panda Express at every other location. Tonight going through the drive thru to attempt an order was met by THE MOST hostile, rude, bad attitude, racist, condescending, berating employee I have ever come in contact with in 53 years. The employee who’s name I’ll withhold but whose initials are T.W., was THE WORST company representative ever. Instead of giving information she was attempting to command me and insert herself into my order and my business only to scream at me to get out of “her drive thru” without serving me a repeat paying customer. I was attempting to make a request to avoid the onions due to mild food allergy. I can’t believe this person would ever be a representative of a business I have frequented in the past. Avoid it. Go to Hibachio, go to Next door to LJS but if you respect yourself and want to protect your peace go somewhere else.

This location SUCKS! My oldest daughter and I love Panda Express but this location doesn't do anything right. Be prepared to wait as they will not have most menu items prepared. I had to wait 10 minutes for orange chicken and they brought out lo mein instead of steamed rice. The broccoli was closer to raw than steamed and the lo mein tasted like it was cooked in a pan that just recently burnt whatever it was cooking previously. I go here about once a week and it use to be one of the best fast food places in Waxahachie. I will not be going back.

Too bad I can't give it a zero! We've been regulars at Panda Express for many years, but it's time to give up. I understand the challenges of the pandemic, we own & operate a restaurant ourselves. So we were not upset at the long wait time in the Drive thru (dining room not open). But it was dinner/prime time, only 7 cars in front of us. Once in DT lane, you're stuck, no way to exit. We waited 40 mins, which we would have been ok with had the food been edible. Our food was absolutely terrible! Was at least hour old and no way was it held at proper temperature. Zero quality, zero service, zero chance of returning. Save your $$ and time and grab a bag of chips at the convenience store, better meal!

Ordered a bowl of beef and broccoli on rice, was basically given a bowl of broccoli on rice. Brought this to their attention and was told their portioning has changed and if I wanted meat I’d have to purchase another entree!!! Prices are up and portions are to the point you don’t even get meat. Won’t be back to this location.

This was the worst Panda Express. We ordered 7 plates, plus a la carte items. We received only 2 fortune cookies. The food was room temperature, less than lukewarm. Several items were missing from each plate (e.g., no pepper beef, only one beef and broccoli- not 2, etc). The food was just okay - not that good. The super greens broccoli was too done. Broccoli on other entres was too done. Very disappointing. On top of that, the manager would not honor the coupon that Panda Express sent us in the mail.

We arrived in the drive through at 715. Ordered, paid, and were asked to move forward. Waited until 755 for our food. Several cars pulled through the drive thru and left. Several orders were brought out taken to other cars. There was no organization. We were told someone else had ordered the same thing we did and they took ours. Are orders only cooked one at a time? Food is very bland, big chunks of egg in the fried rice. Vegetables are almost raw. I would like my $25 back, please.

Listen, I come here cause I like Panda Express’ food obviously. But this location is always jacked up in some sort of way. Whether it be the chow mein noodles were Cooked in the vegetable water, The super greens are raw and not even steamed one bit ext. That’s not even the issue today. The restaurant has been open for an hour and somehow I still don’t get what I actually wanted. At all. First I ask for Kung Pow They said it’ll be a wait of 10 minutes. I say OK never mind how about orange chicken. ( because that’s always available) then I asked for orange chicken and sweet fire…. They said it’s not available I said OK how about the new almond chicken, naturally it’s going to be 10 minutes for that one as well…. So after getting double orange chicken because I was sick of naming items On the menu. To top it all off my fortune cookie was all smashed. 🙄 I know good help is hard to find. But I’ve given this place 1000 chances, I’ll just take myself over to the red Oak or Midlothian one.

May need to have someone come down and take a look at this store. For the last year, the food and customer service has gone downhill. Last night my wife went, and they messed up the order and took over half an hour to fix. One tried to even argue with my wife. My order was still not correct. They even kept our receipt.

I love Panda Express when the food is fresh. I went through the drive thru and ordered the Sweet Fire Chicken. When I got home and saw my meal, you could tell by looking at it, it was not fresh. It was a very dark brown and burnt on one side and it tasted as bad as it looked. I have watched them get low on an item and add a fresh batch on top of the old batch and stir it up. This means you will always get fresh and old on the same plate.

Worst panda I have ever went, the teriyaki sauce was horrible and the chicken completely tasteless, I had to wait 20 min for the rice to be ready , how can this happen if they only had 4 customers and us. they need to be ready before something is completely gone. They serve you less food than any other PANDA I have ever been . And for last the employees need a better customer service ! Not coming back again!

With very hungry grandchildren , my daughter and myself go into the restaurant, because mask are mandatory for all staff order our food, get to resister to pay, my daughter walks out of restroom and see that the cook has his mask below is chin! She says forget it we won’t eat here because he is not masked! I had already put my cars in terminal! Went to car with no food, my card was charged so went back I. Took food to reheat at home, an hour away and have to find somewhere else to feed and pay again!

I didnt know Panda express could be so horrible. Manager sat by as the workers horseplayed and acted as she could careless about their behavior. Someone else was cleaning up and can and tried to fix my food. Just made me not even want the food anymore... Food was horrible. Manager was to lazy to make my walnut shrimp and also to lazy to give me the extra 1.25 they charged me for it back. So she offered more orange chicken to replace walnut shrimp. Just completely horrible. IM DEFINITELY NOT GOING AGAIN. Should of just went to Chinese restaurant down the street.

We won't be coming back here. The food is fine and has even been great in the past but this last time they gave us teriyaki sauce that you could pick up with a fork it. It was gooey and thick not the consistency that we have gotten in the past. Obviously the staff doesn't care about the quality of the food and if they are willing to give a customer something that is so obviously substandard then what will they give you that isn't as noticable.

chose to buy a bowl Price $6.40 ( 1 side 1 entree) but she charged me the price of the Plate $7.90 . Actually just half blow for $7.90 + tax + unfriendly service. Never return!

Ordered $100 worth of food (2 family meals and 12 egg rolls). I did not receive the 2 entree orders of Angus steak in the box. I also ordered this on the app which said the order was to be ready at 7:45 pm, but I did not receive my food till about 8:20pm. Trash, literal dog water. 🐕‍🦺🌊

After today they messed my order twice . I first ordered string bean chicken I get home it looked like seaweed. Went back to correct my order I got home they gave me orange chicken instead of green bean chicken went back got home the order was right this time but the string bean chicken was hard and dry. I'm done with Panda Express they been falling off lately . I guess my next stop will be Rice Box.

We really wanted to enjoy Panda Express food tonight 8pm with friends and family but the workers made sure to discourage you from ordering...”oh that’s not on order it’s frozen...”oh we don’t have anymore of that for the night”... “oh there will be an 8 minute wait on that”...we say ok...”oh you want to wait on that?” Yep... next item not available... so we pull away go next door to long johns while we wait in line we watch Panda employees group sitting in the lobby relaxing laying their heads chatting while we watch car after car drive away.....are the employees running Panda?!...is there not a manager or an owner who cares business is NOT as usual as other Panda locations ?... what a great loss.....

If you pay cash watch out, they will try to pocket some of the money. They will give you some back and try to nonchalantly sneak a dollar or couple of cents for themselves. Exactly why I don’t like to tip places.

I haven’t been to this location in 8 years but decided to go because my kiddos got a coupon for a free meal as a school reward. I ordered 2 beef and broccoli cub meals and the girl on the intercom seemed confused about the order, so I made sure to repeat it a couple of times. I got home and realized they gave us cold chicken and chow mein noodles with no broccoli. The chicken just seemed a little off color and not fresh at all.

Never, ever, order from this Panda Express through their app. Through the app they use Door Dash. Our Delivery driver couldn't speak English and tried to give us and order with two items even though the receipt attached to it showed 6 items. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us. I recommend only dine in or pick up from this Panda Express.

If I could give this location no stars I certainly would. Every time I come here they are out of an entree even when they first open. They tell you it will be about a 10 minute wait for food to be cooked. One thing to also note is that they have been out of sesame chicken for weeks now. I go to other locations and they have it in stock. All around this location lacks in every category. You can go to Midlothian or Red Oak, and it is a night and day difference. Their food is always fresh and you rarely have to wait unless it's during peak times. Not to mention, the customer service is far superior at the other locations I listed. In summary, if you are looking for a good hot meal that is worth your money, do not stop here. Keep on driving 10 miles. You will thank me for it later. Oh, and also the employees at the other locations actually seem to be happy you are there and not annoyed by your mere presence.

The amount of food they give is pathetic. In the picture is a bowl with white rice and kung pow chicken. This is taken right after I opened the lid. 95% rice, 5% chicken.

I live on referrals and positive reviews in my line of work currently. I worked in a high pace food and beverage environment for many years with a staff that even on the hardest of shifts, we provided a service to support ourselves. The customer isn’t always right and we all have those days. However, being kind is FREE. I feel as if this review will not see the light of day with management ( why I didn’t go in to make a complaint because nowadays, staff is just a mirror of what management is). I also don’t want anything for free. But, with that said, and after cooling off overnight, it stilled bothered me. Because, being kind is FREE. Precisely at the 8pm hour on October 2nd- at the Waxahachie location, my wife and I were greeted with the honestly the rudest, laziest and quite frankly the worst customer service at the window by the young lady working it ( I am guessing the same one that has gotten other complaints). When you order vegetable greens but given “ will take 15 minutes to cook” and kindly say you will wait. You should NEVER feel as if it’s an inconvenience. It is on the menu and you have a service. That’s laziness. When you arrive at window to no greeting, smile or kindness, you missed the mark with hiring. I have seen folks who have a reason to be sad, down and out of it, radiate sunshine instead, do their job and make a difference. Here’s the kicker- when you are just given your food with no comment after 2 minutes ( shockingly no 15 minute wait after all , real head scratcher…) then you reply,” do I need to still wait on the vegetables to be cooked at a parking spot, like you said. You wouldn’t expect to only get the rudest passive comment back , “ this is all you ordered , sir.” But, that’s what I got and oh yeah, not a thank you, goodnight, Godspeed , screw off…. Just nothing. At that point I said thank you , then again and again ( no thank you back ) as I drove off. Again, I know this won’t see light of day nor make difference. I’m just hoping by chance that if someone cares in management, they will do a better job to make a difference in an already suffering world of customer service… or dare I just say, being a kind human.. it’s free.

Drive thru lady at this panda can do way better I waited at the menu for 9 Mins with only one car at window . Very rude to be working a window.

I usually enjoy Panda Express. It's good and usually quick. The entire reason for this one-star review is that they charge almost a dollar for a cup of water. I know that water isn't free, nor is the small cup they offer for it (in the past without charge). To me, offering your guests water is a small, but significant, act of hospitality that is central to a restaurant.

How hard is it to get the order right? I asked for teriyaki bowl with white rice. I get noodles I can't eat noodles 😩. Ruin a person's dinner. Every time I go through drive thru. Order is never right.

This location is always going to be the same!! We where told to park for 7 minutes because the food was still cooking, they brought our food out and once we got home of course never fails they forgot 2 of our iteams!! I do not know why it is so hard for them just to double check and make sure they have everything in the bag, but no instead it seems like they don't have a manager on staff that can train them when it is busy and how to make sure everything is not missing on your order. This is so frustrating 😤

I recently stared working in this Area, so I went to pick up an online order for a coworker and me. I decided to pick it up through the drive true, since there was no line nor many cars in the outside. So I pulled to the window and when I got there Jessica open the widow with no greeting, so I continue to tell her I was picking an online order for (Name) she barely let me finish and close the window on me, when she came back she just gave me my food and told me in a very rude and loud way that next time I had to stop to order through the speaker. I told her that I understood but this was my first time picking up an online order from Panda . She didn’t say anything and close the window on me once again. That’s when I waited for a min more bc she didn’t even give me time to ask her for chili sauce .Once she notice me she open the window and seem really bothered and asked me “do you need something” I asked for my sauce and said ty. I just think she could’ve been nicer about the whole situation and there was no need for her to be so rude and ugly towards a customer. I’ve worked in fast food service before, and get it can be very stressful at times but there’s no need to take it out with customers. Makes a bad experience and not is not a good impression from the store.

No one told me that the item I ordered had to be made from scratch. 8 minutes after I had paid I told the cashier I wanted a refund, Penny said he had to get his manager, and he kept waiting on other people. When he happened to run into the manager on one of his trips back to the kitchen, the manager, manager handed refund to cashier and walked away, cashier handed me my money in a wad, neither one said, so sorry, thanks for trying, come again.

I know this place potential and that was not there today. Some girl (she has a small bun on top of her head) drive thru girl was being so rude taking our order. Then hands me the food quick after I pay and doesn’t even give me the chance to ask for sauce she just walks away and i was waiting at the window for 5 mins just to get the sauce that I asked for shoved in my hand. Then the chow mein was dry and not good at all. I know pandas potential please do better. I’ve never had a bad experience until today.

I don’t know what’s going on at Panda Express, but it’s gotten out of control. I’ve given this place multiple chances, thinking maybe I just caught them on a bad day — but no. Every single time I come in, the employees act like they hate their lives and want everyone else to suffer for it. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with eye rolls, cold stares, and the kind of energy that makes you wonder if you did something wrong just by showing up. They rush you through your order like you’re wasting their time, and God forbid you ask a question — the attitude is instant. I’ve seen more warmth from vending machines. They clearly don’t want to be there, and they make it known with every sigh, every slammed tray, and every word they throw at you like it’s a chore. And management? Either they don’t care or they’re just as miserable — because nothing’s changing. The culture is toxic, and it spills out onto every customer who walks through the door. This place needs a serious reset. New management, retraining, something. Because right now, it’s just a fast food chain full of bitterness and bad vibes — and I’m tired of paying for it. Do better, Panda Express. You’ve lost a customer for good.

My family and I went to this location on yesterday 6-7-2025 around 3:30 pm . 2 children & 3 adults my 2 children, my mom , sister & myself walked in, no other customers were present, my 16yrd old daughter said hello as we walked to the counter No one said anything and it was I believe six team members present , I then say hello in a normal tone just a little louder for the people in the back the team members turned around and looked and still no one said anything , one guy/team member gave a smirk not smile but smirk so I told my family I will not be eating here ever I will not spend a dime here at this location. This is truly unacceptable and really needs to be addressed buy upper management I know you all have cameras . I don’t think the policy is pretend that we don’t see the customers or hear them. We don’t have to service them.

Natahlie didn't want to give me more than 5 RED HOT sauce packets for my $18 order. Told her to give me more and she wouldn't until I told her I would pay extra then she said "okay". Just wanted to throw it out there and hopefully someone can tell her it's not her money and to learn to accept that the customer is always right! As you can see in the photo I still need RED HOT sauce and because of Natahlie I don't have anymore. Shame

Did an order for pick up and received this... chow mein was d-r-y, I don't even know what happened to the beef in the broccoli beef. The broccoli was uncooked, no sauce, and literally once tiny piece of beef. I will never return to this location.

Panda bowls are basically rice or chow mein and the meat is only 4-5 piece 🙄 I ordered a large side of chow meón and medium side of orange chicken and they give both boxes of chow mean my kids are so sad 😓 and I paid almos 26 dollars 😫
