We have now been to this location twice. The drive-thru staff has been extra-friendly, kind, and personable. The food order has been correct each time. We will be back!
Love this Wendy's. There is a gentleman that works the pay window (Charles). He is always so pleasant! Very friendly always takes the time to say hi!, to my son who is only 6yr, and loves to talk with the drive-thru people. Especially, nowadays with Covid, interactions are so limited, and I am always happy to see him there. Charles goes above and beyond to just be a kind person. The food is always good too!
Great. Always friendly and food always hot and served fast. My 5 year old loves it. Which is nice because he has autism and he a picky eater. But they always makes him smile.
Ordered using the Wendy's app, pulled through drive-thru and gave them my mobile order code, pulled up to the 2nd widow, got our order, and drove away. Not having to sit at the speaker while we figure out what we want to order, or stopping at the first widow to pay, just makes the whole experience better for everyone - especially those waiting in line behind us!
The spicy nuggets were good. I had a chicken sandwich. As always it was fresh, crunchy and delicious. Very nice cashier. This place is very busy. The drive through was quite packed. We dined inside and there was a long line but this Wendy's was very efficient at getting the food out in good time.
It has always been the best Wendy's I've ever been to mostly because of how nice the people are there in particular there's one older lady that works at the counter who is just the sweetest kindest woman you'd ever meet. I did have trouble about 2 weeks ago and was a little upset because the inside was not serving food because they didn't have any employees however I do not blame Wendy's for that I blame that on our government because no one wants to work even though our government says we had the lowest unemployment in a long time it's dropped by half if that's possible how come we can't get waited on at Wendy's in so many other places this last year.
I had the Spicy chicken sandwich and fries and had sweet tea. The fries were fresh and hot, I always like fries when the skin is still them. Sweet tea was not that sweet so I added a sugar, no big deal. But I like spicy chicken, but I added pepper on top of the spicy chicken before tasting first. It lite my tongue on fire. Still very good.
I'll start it with I am not a big fan of fast food or Wendy's. I literally come here for the great service most of the time Im not even hungry but it's conveniently located next to the Home Depot worst case I just grab a drink. Again, best customer service in all of Waxahachie.
Clean, line was fast. Food was great. Service friendly. Manager Susan was friendly and helpful. Newly remodeled within the last year. I would say one of the best Wendy's in Texas. I mean my lettuce was green and crisp and my tomato was juicy. Hot potatoes and chili. Yum
We had an excellent experience with a wonderful cashier named Elizabeth (an older lady). She smiled and was so helpful and attentive to our special order to ensure it was made properly. She is doing a fantastic job and I hope management is taking care of her.
Best customer service ever! Manager Derrick made sure we were welcomed and our order was perfect. Super Clean and when they heard the ketchup was out someone was sent out right away to change it. Derrick was very polite and well groomed.

We love Wendy's after church on Wednesdays! It was nearly 9pm and the staff was all very helpful, prompt with the food and didn't forget anything. I had a large order of 4 teenage kids order and my husband's order and they didn't miss a thing!
I can always rely on the food to be fresh and well made. They have the best sauces. Love the frosties too!

Such a fun and classic fast food restaurant! We ordered the spicy chicken sandwiches, our favorite. Of course, it was so delicious. You can tell the food is fresh and made to order.
Kevin and the manager Celia went way above and beyond to make my experience the greatest I've ever had at Wendy's this Wendy's is a very friendly very clean I'm very courteous I feel they care about their customers I feel that they want their customers to have the best experience for Wendy's
We work at the massage studio down the street. At least one of us gets food or drinks there each day. Everyone is so friendly and 99% of the time our orders are correct! Even down to the sauces we order. Thanks guys for working hard & caring!
So the food here is great but really this post is about Mr.Charles at the drive-thru window. He has the best customer service and is so nice. Whenever I go to Wendy's for lunch I find myself hoping that he is working so I can chat with him. Mr.Charles is what we want to see in any customer service role. He is awesome!!
I have seen this Wendy’s location at its best and its worst, but no matter the speed of service, I get a solid meal each time. Looking over one star reviews from 4 years ago, I can definitely see those happening, but never experienced overcharges or complete customer neglect myself, just a refusal to take my order inside with a wrapped drive thru, but that was long ago under different management. It seems this Wendy’s could be turning it around, as all my most recent visits the past year or so have all gone smoothly and deliciously. What made me finally leave a review was their willingness to work with me while all of their computers were unexpectedly down directly after I ordered. I did not have quite enough cash to cover my order and the reboot time for the system was about 10 minutes. It was a little disheartening and I can see where most people would give up and go elsewhere, but I was adamant on getting Wendy’s today. That ten minute wait turned into three, as they already had my order ready and offered to take my slightly short cash instead of waiting to pay with card. Everyone was very kind and transparent about the situation while still remaining calm, yet quick and courteous. Thanks for saving me some time! Keep up the good work!
The last two times we have been here, the staff have all been SO genuinely nice! They all seem to be in good moods, are very personable, and seem happy. Makes for a pleasant drive through experience! Susan is SO sweet, she is the best cashier I have ever had. The staff here is literally nicer than the staff at Chick-fil-A in town! They always get our order correct, and don't seem annoyed if we ask for condiments.
I come here all the time one of the workers names alexa is always so kind and greets me with a smile i always accept the 99cent cookie she is a amazing worker although some can work on their attitude
Service was pleasant, orders were all correct & food was fresh! We have a big family so it’s always a hit or miss on our orders being right, but this Wendy’s did a great job! Every meal was correct. Our food was still hot and our drinks were great!

I can’t remember her name, but she’s the sweetest older lady I’ve ever came across at a fast food chain. She’s always makes me feel welcome plus she keeps the dining room beyond clean! The food is always amazing. All the employees are nice and efficient when it comes to getting your food out.
It's one of the better Wendy's I've visited across DFW. The Dave's double is a good burger. I've been here several times. The frys were plentiful but somewhat wilted compared to previous times. The Frosty was excellent. The order was quick and the staff friendly. The bummer this trip was that their computer system was down, so I couldn't get my frys for free, and they could only take cash as payment. The app is worth having and has a pretty good reward setup. What you get for the price was, in my opinion, pretty good.
Wendy's is better than Whataburger now if you ask me. Wendy's has better fries and their burgers are always fresh! And their shakes taste better now as well...frosty's of course. 💯
This Wendy's location is fairly newish. I ordered the Dave's single (sub mustard and ketchup for mayo) and the sour cream and chive baked potato. The baked potato was great as usual but over did it a bit with too much mustard and ketchup on my burger. In the end, I didn't finish it. Other times I've ate there, I would get the 5 piece nuggets or the spicy chicken sandwich.
My go to when I need to feed 5+ people on the go. The 4 for 4 is literally a life saver sometimes bc my little ones can split a couple of the meals and be full for lunch. The restaurant is usually clean. Idk why but I feel like every time I go to this location only the sodas are working at the fountain drink machine. Definitely need to consider working on that, not everyone drinks soda or wants to bug the team members for refills.
The straws where messed up, they all had a slit all the way up the side and they didn't take back, just kept passing them out. Not a big deal, but something that small, figured yall could've been on top that pretty easily. Other than that, it was alright
Not overly impressed with service.
Dual order lanes on the drive through have sped things up out there. They have brown prompt and efficient about their product delivery for years. A very consistantly good location.
They advertise that there are 2 lanes of drive through open all the time and one of them was closed at 1pm on a Saturday. False advertising is a violation of civil rights being that I lost time seeing as to the reason for my visit was to save time and I knew there was two lanes in the drive through ALWAYS open, and much to my disappointment, it was not open, however I wouldn't spend the time or the 75 dollars to mess with recovering compensation for what I've lost, but I'm sure there's someone out there that will...
We got our food before we could sit down so that is good. However there was absolutely no salt on the fries. But other than that our visit at Wendy's today was great!
This Wendy's happened ti have extremely fast service and got our order all correct. It was amazing. Most times this doesn't happen with fast food and on the road you dint necessarily want turn around to go back when an order is wrong. Great service.

Decent Wendy's with quick but not very friendly service. Ketchup was out but they filled it after asking. Diet coke was out though on the machine. 😭 few tables needed cleaned as well. The new ghost pepper chicken sandwich was good and the fries were hot; however, $12.50 for a combo meal seems a bit pricey.
Now with two drive through order stations, helps expedite the process some. Inside can feel a bit cramped while ordering, they did not think through that part of the renovation. It's your standard fast food joint.
Food was good and out quick but the cashier didnt seem to take her job seriously. She was new but was too busy joking with co workers despite being very busy. Otherwise it was good.
They need to work on the fast food part of the restaurant. Had to wait in the drive thru for 10 min for a gift card problem in the car in front of me. Once moved, I said I had a mobile order, and of course, my order was wrong. Will try again. I enjoy the restaurant but not this visit.
Got the most simplest order wrong. Single with cheese, plain, even repeated it back to me. Opened it before I left, it was loaded, all topings, glad I wasn't already down the road.
Food was really good and wait was a little long. But I will have to say there was a worker that was taking pickups and walk in orders and she was extremely rude to the costumer beside. And he was being super kind and sweet to her, but she belittled him and was extremely rude.
Bad evening, I guess. Freestyle machine was out of almost everything. No BBQ sauce, no ketchup in the dispenser. Tables dirty all over the dining area. Long wait. Sounds like Ike management issues.
Mediocre service. Still dealing with the cashier handling food without washing hands/wearing gloves after handling money. Soda dispenser is always out of over half the flavors.
Drive-thru clerk did not understand or speak the English language. She may not have been well schooled. She also had trouble with money transaction. And my order was wrong. After the time spent waiting at the drive-thru, and the doors being locked, I went to another location for my meal.
Food is way too high service could learn how English as not everyone is bilingual
It wad after 10:00pm we were hungry, so Wendy’s was open bacon burger double meat was served lukewarm, 7:99 no fries, a potato 10 piece chicken nugget with fries and 10 pieces nuggets with potato. The food wasn’t not hot less than lukewarm. Bacon had been cooked for a very long time. Nuggets too. Fries were cooked with a lot of salt. Potato wow! I don’t care to eat there anymore. It was 38.00 dollars we spent, and it wasn’t worth the price.

Went at lunch. Co worker and myself ordered chicken nugget combo meals. The chicken nugget weren’t very hot, fries were hot and fresh. First window staff were pleasant, second window staff was very rude and didn’t thank me for visiting, just handed the food out the window.
Wendy's food is terrible these days. This is the third time I went in the burgos, and fries was terrible.We'll never go back
Good food but missing items 2 out of 3 orders in the past couple weeks.
So far, this has been the worst experience I've had at a wendys. Everytime I've gone here they somehow mess up something. Today they gave us thr wrong food outright and the guy manning the drive though frankly had no idea what he was doing. It'll be a long time before i come back to this. Wendys
Hourly employees and management both would due well to learn better communication skills; English, preferably. Also, they have changed a product while keeping the same name. For me, it has been an all out horrendous experience.
Waited almost 30 minutes for my order. I even went inside because the drive thru was absolute chaos. I've been to this location twice before and had the same experience. Employees are super slow and never apologized to me for having to wait so long. Never visiting this Wendy's location again.
Because of convenience and proximity to my job, I have this about once a week or once every two weeks. I get it to go and take it back to the office. It is so disappointing when my order is wrong but I'm stuck because the alternative is driving back up there and wasting more time and gas. Reminder to self.... CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING.
I went to Wendy’s tonight there was no line but let me tell you my drink was supposedly to be fruit punch it was more like colored water with no flavor and the fries were older then Nintendo 64 but you have the nerve to ask if I want to upsize my drink and add cookies to my order now why would I do that I want you to make sure my food is hot like it is supposed be💯💯💯💯💯💯
As we approached the counter to place our order, the young man at counter was texting someone, we waited until he finished his texting. Then he took our order, he knew we were not pleased, having to wait to place our order. We placed our order and paid for it. We were given our cups for our drinks. As we walked to the drink dispenser our name was called, our order was ready, two seconds later. We were surprised. We ate our meal, it was cold. We were disappointed. We used to love Wendy's. We will not be dining at Wendy's for a long time.
Did a doordash here and i was basically treated like i was invisible when there was nobody even in the restaurant even though i was at counter. Employees were messing around the whole time. Not bad people just need to be responsible and grow up
I really wish there was a 0 stars. Where to begin, first of all I guess there was only one of the 6 people I saw behind the counter actually working. Second of all the manager was playing and horsing around right along with the rest of the crew except for that 1 young lady who was trying to put everyone's food together and get orders out. Third it took 45 minutes to get 2 burgers and fries. Fourth 2 people who came in and ordered well after me got their 2 burgers each served to them 10 minutes before I finally got my order. I don't care if they're giving away the burgers I will never again stop at the Wendy's in waxahachie, not even to just use the bathroom. The worst experience and service I believe I have ever received anywhere!
I Asked for a Baconator without a bun. I guess that means meat and cheese only. $14! Could’ve gone to In N Out and gotten 3 triple burgers protein style for the same price. I don’t know if this is only at this Wendy’s, but this is sad. No attention to detail at all. Not even an attempt to make a decent meal. I hope a manager reads this and gets his employees in to shape. I get that it’s not a job that is meant to be a carrier, but at least be good at it. That says more about you as a person than about the restaurant. It was a sad experience, and I will not be doing this again.
I went through the drive-thru. Upon placing my order I told the young lady that I had a coupon for buy a 1/4 burger, you get on free. Well I was told to pull around to the first window. Once I got there I gave her my coupon, and there were two Hispanic young ladies in the window. I gave her the coupon, and before she even looked at my coupon she immediately blurted out "My Manager said we can't take EBT Coupons." First of all I did not even know what she was referring to my coupon was from a fundraiser from Waxahachie Highschool football team which my son is a player on. I proceeded to explain to her that was not an EBT coupon, and I did not know what she was talking about. The other young lady mumbles under her breath nobody cares anyway and, rolls her eyes. I went to explain to the young lady that was assisting me that you should never just assume anything about anyone. Make sure you have all of the facts before making an assumption, that is how confusion comes about and misunderstanding. Needless to say the other young lady was very rude, and very unprofessional. I will not be going back to this Wendy's. Yes I am only one customer, but if she treated me that way how many other people have she made assumptions about. 🤔. Anyone whom bought the coupon cards from Waxahachie Football Players you won't be able to use them there.🙄
If I could give this place no stars I would. I came in and got a combo got to work and figured out that I payed 12 bucks for Fry's they did not give me the burger and I was in a rush to work. Called was told to come back and they would fix it came in next day. Was informed they had no idea when tho I talked to the supervisor I was on the phone with her . And then when they are confronted with the fact I was they play it off we don't know what your talking about you have lost my business if you plain to lie to me and belittle a customer I expect this from other places.
My co worker and I went through the drive thru on our way to work and they got the order wrong, he ordered a double meat cheeseburger and received a single pattie with one bun ( no bottom) called back on break and spoke with Marissa who called him a liar and said if you're not lying bring it back now... lady, we're at work , we're not leaving right now. She didn't care continues to say he was lying cause he wouldn't leave work. She said we'll keep it and bring it back when you can... girl who is going to keep a burger until they can get back to your wack establishment who can't remember to use to two buns and two pieces of meat. I mean who's going to make up a story like that???
This establishment will not allow Truck Drivers to walk in the drive thru to order food. Who do they think that is bringing them there food that they are servicing and the food they eat at home. Heck that driver might have toilet paper on his truck delivering it the stores and this location is denying him a way to eat during this time we should work together not against each other. SMH
I ordered a kids meal with chicken nuggets and I ordered the 4 for 4 with nuggets and the nuggets were mushy and pink as if the weren’t cooked properly. Please check u nuggets before eating! My son ate 2 already and I hope he doesn’t get sick from eating them.
The worst place ever!!! Made my order incorrect then they were speaking in Spanish to complain about me complaining. I will never go there again. The lettuce was brown burger was sloppy. I got a refund🤢
Too bad I have to give a star at all. I ate here and got food poisoning and threw up for an entire 24 hours then when I called the store to tell them about it, they laughed and snickered over the phone. What a bunch of a holes never again will I ever go there! That means they’re not running a clean restaurant.
My family and I went to eat here after church.They were super packed and burning the food I guess because the whole place was filled with smoke.We have a 2 month old baby that needed to be changed but guess what. No baby changing tables in either of the restrooms..No bueno! My other boys wanted to stay for a frosty but we couldn't because we had to leave so we could go change our baby. We all smelled like burnt whatever in our clothes. We wont be returning to this Wendys
I ordered off the app and every item was wrong. I should've checked my order but didn't. Guy at the front was messing up everyone's else's order as well but was in a rush so I didnt check. Never coming back. Bad service, food was bad, nothing was correct. Don't eat here.
I'll call Wendy's and ask how much is a bacon burger with with mustard and fries and a drink she would not help me out told me to access the menu on Google I need to know the price because I was sending somebody to pick it up if staff at Wendy can you help you when they answer the phone why they have a telephone they need more experience and know how to treat people
Was so looking forward to Strawberry Frosty. Could have been fantastic. Instead, horrible, fake, cheap, artificial taste. Do not waste your money. Service at this location is also terrible. Their cash register, suspiciously, does not give out receipts on a regular bases. Making it convenient for employees to over charge and pocket money. I’ve been over charged and manager just shrugs like not her responsibility. Go to a different location and stick with regular frosty.
we just got ripped off for a 1 patty only a few pieces of bacon baconator with chillie and a baked potatoe for over 15$. tried calling them and they said bring receipt which was not in the bag. noone is going to drive 15minites round trip and some wait for them to add 1 patty esp with my car in the shop. huge disappointment. unless you got a coupon and make sure to check every part of your order before you drive off you better get a biggie bag or avoid them completely. I am having to fix a tv dinner cus that rinky dink burger went down in 10 seconds insult to injury would of got bogo if we used the app, these places are raising prices to a point noone can afford them and the only break you might get is to sell your data or accept your family got ripped off because they are used to old fashioned ordering
The service has gone down so far where the manager hides from the customers that deserve a refund for their system charging twice saying it is a bank issue. With no alternative compromise like a second order of what I got because I got charged twice on my card. At least the regular employees who have no power can keep you calmer than this manager who can't even look you in the eye.
Burger and fries were good. Drink was lousy,flavor was way off. Customer service was awful and extremely slow. 6 people behind the counter and it took 16 minutes to get our food. Wasn't busy either, one customer before us.
Ordered a Dave's Double with cheese, extra mayo and pickles only - NO LTO. I got 20 minutes down the road and I had a burger with extra Lettuce and Extra tomatoes with mustard and no mayo or pickles. And a box of cold fries.
To Wendy's manager/owner: I came through the drive thru at 1:22 pm on 1/3/23. Receipt says Host: Maritza and Cashier: Tarrion. Had trouble communicating my order at the speaker, so I asked at the person at first window to repeat it. The repeated back "double meat Italian Mozzarella sandwich." I told them it was supposed to be chicken and they said it is chicken. So I asked "does chicken come in a double?" To which they replied "No..." I asked "so I have a single chicken Italian Mozzarella?" And they said "yes, your order is correct." I get home and it's a Italian Mozzarella double cheeseburger. This is partially my fault for not checking the order before I left but I thought I had cleared up any misunderstanding and had some level of expectation of competence. Again, my fault for expecting any level of competence. Poor service from workers that are either ignorant or intentionally malicious. Also, fries were far from fresh but not extremely bad. The other burgers were made well.
Today 06.20.21 at 6:45pm I went to Wendy's and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and large fries and coke but they gave me a sandwich with a chicken fillet that was not fresh it was old and dry but to top it off my "coke" It was a sweet drink with a hint of lemon, it wasn't coke! I don’t recommend the food at this location, it’s TERRIBLE! Ahh and don't try to contact them because no one answers the phone.
LITERALLY Just left @ 8:12am 11/2/22, was super excited and happy with how quick they gave me my food. Of course as I leave I unload my bag. No syrup no sauce, no napkins or sauce for potato wedges. THEN they don’t answer and don’t provide receipt. Y’all need to realize some of us have to eat as we drive (very few Can sit down and eat) disappointing ALL YALL DO IS FRY FOOD!
I usually enjoy Wendy's, but today I didn't get a chance to eat. The people they have at the counter are slow as molasses. I understand being busy but they had two extra hands to help him get the orders while he took the orders. We stood there waiting for about 15 min just to have him say wait and walk away.
Food was fine. Great, even! Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. We had a long day at the Renaissance festival and my friend was in a lot of pain, so came off a bit rude in the drive thru. He was unsure if he could even lift the drink carrier being handed to him without losing strength in his arm. I did apologize on his behalf and explain the reason behind his tone of voice, but as we left, we received a middle finger from the drive thru worker. I hope to see some repercussions for those actions so that I may update this review to five stars next year when I return for the Ren Faire.

Dunno how the food is. Got turned off this location because of dirty restroom with blood in one toilet, and an employee literally walked outof the other stall without flushing. Looked me dead in the eye as she walked out. Cant imagine how the food is of they cant flush a toilet. No thanks 👍
They don’t read customizations and forget items all the time
Drive thru breakfast order 5/3/25. Order a breakfast sandwich and burritos to try the Swiss cheese sauce and both items came without. Double checked online and my food was made nothing like the description.
Drive thru speaker wasn’t working so I drove to order at window. Was met with great confusion when I said I’ve been sitting at the drive thru for an extended time so I drove up. She asked if I was at the second lane, I said no. She shrugged her shoulders and then shut the window. She returned and asked if I ordered online. I again explained that I’ve been sitting in the line and after several minutes at the order box I came to the window, she asked if I was in the sensor, I told her I don’t know where the sensor is but I am familiar with drive thru protocol and where to order, she shuts the window again…Another lady opens the window and asked me what happened. I again explained and she just look at me super confused. I asked would it possible to order now in which she said “no” that I needed to go back into the line and wait another 20mins… Sorry the food is not worth the initial wait let alone a second wait. I would understand if I had been rude but was very polite and understanding. Not sure if it was a language barrier or just general comprehension but pretty poor service.
I came through the drive through just now & this lady with curly hair & a pigtail was extremely passive & rude. If someone’s talking to you with respect why do you feel the need to be disrespectful.
Went in waited and waited for someone to take my order there was not one single person inside and 2 cars in tje drive thru.we left. Workers walking around everywhere talking Spanish to each other no one came to front counter
Only thing I ate so far that day. Jr. Bacon fries and a drink🤷 after getting off work. I honestly dont know, but I ate late night went to bed, and woke up with my face swollen up. Dr. Said it was probably something I ate. Im at a loss of words. The whole right side of my face is swelled up. Doctors have me on amoxicillin as of yesterday. Doctor doesn't know any other means besides something I ate. And only thing I ate. Biggie deal.
Nothing worse to me than a manager looking right at you then still continues to ignore customers waiting to place an order. Employees copy the leader, thus the reason they also looked and also did nothing. I left hungry- now going somewhere I can be served
Waited almost 20 minutes in the drive thru line to receive 2 orders of fries. And they were COLD and STALE!! Not to mention OVERPRICED!! $7.77 for 1 medium and 1 large order of fries. And the person at the window was awful!
