We had the most wonderful waiter, Dalton he went above and beyond to see we were cared for. We didn't order a big meal but to him it was as if we ordered everything! The food is excellent!!! We recommend as a family that you take your family there! P.S. ask for Dalton!!!

Always eat at this location with my friend on our shopping trips. We had lunch this past Friday. Our server, Shay, was terrific. She was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Our salad was delicious. The appetizer of toasted ravioli is my favorite item...wish OG would make it an entree. Cheese ravioli was delicious as well. The bread sticks were fresh and soft...well worth the extra calories. There Zupa Tuscana is a great complimentary pre meal that tops your taste buds accompanied with their fresh butter breadsticks. Service was great staff always friendly. Call me a glutton for punishment, but I've now come 2 Friday nights in a row. Last week, Hannah gave us perfect service and made it an anniversary to remember. We had such a great experience that we came back this week for more. Lacy did a great job as well, and this is proving to be my favorite Olive Garden location. The service is always great, the food is exactly what I expect and want, and it's served timely and hot. On a very busy night, we were never left waiting, which is impressive given how many large parties there were! Managers came and checked on us, and when our server was busy, others picked up the slack and brought out items for us. If you like Olive Garden or good American versions of Italian food, this is the place to go. Even on busy nights, I feel it's worth the wait and it's my new favorite way to splurge after payday. Oh! And you HAVE to try their donuts! I just ordered 4 orders to take home!

I spoke with Nikki one of the managers at this location and discussed a situation that had occurred the night before during our dining experience. The waiter who serviced us that particular night was very attentive and gave us very good service. I discussed with him an incident that took place while eating our meal and he was very nice with the situation that was brought to his attention. The next day I did call and spoke with Nikki about this matter and I can say that her disposition in handling this matter was extremely professional and very friendly this manager is a very great asset to this establishment in the customer service she gives in making a customer very happy with her prompt attention to make the situation right immediately to all patrons who eat here just know that this manager is a true great service person in charge of a great staff I will always give my business to this location

I just wanted to brag about this place and the staff. Our party of 9 were there quite a long time today for lunch. Some were from out of town so we stayed and visited. I repeatedly checked to make sure our table was not needed. They reassured me it was not. Our orders were all correct and the food was hot and delicious. Thank you for making my sister's bday celebration wonderful. Such gracious servers and managers!!!

I have to say that this was our best experience at OG ever. This trip our server was phenomenal and our food was delicious and came out perfect. I had the chicken and shrimp carbonara, which I've never had before. It's basically Alfredo sauce sauteed with bacon and bell peppers over spaghetti. It's amazing and great compliment to chicken and shrimp. The wife had fettuccine Alfredo and asked for broccoli and mushrooms to be added. She said, "whoever made this made it like they were going to eat it." They increased the amount of Alfredo sauce to cover the additional veggies. Salad and bread sticks were awesome as usual. This trip will be what we measure all other OG trips. Thank you!

Great spot! The past 4 times we’ve came we’ve had great service, food and wait times! The shrimp appetizer is legit. The portion is appropriate for 3-4 people but what stole the show were the tempura-style peppers. Delicious. I loved how much attention our server was giving us, always touching base with the tables in her area. Would definitely enjoy another visit.

Very impressed with how they handled allergen exposures! The manager came & spoke with us & reassured us they would make fresh batches of food & change gloves, clean surfaces, etc. to reduce any risks of cross-contamination — & we didn’t even have to ask!

I went there on Veterans Day and their appreciation to Veterans meal is a regular meal. The unlimited salads, with all the veggies, and the hot buttered bread at Olive Garden taste soooo good. We came here after school for dinner and had a nice experience. There were hostesses at the entrance that did not smile nor showed any desire to work their customer service skills (took off one star). I did not feel welcomed. The waiter and the chefs, however, saved the evening. The waiter was amicable and patient with my kids. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. The kids loved it. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. I would come here again. I hope next time the hostesses don't just stare at me and look like I'm inconveniencing them by being there.

Arrived at Olive Garden for our yearly ritual for a birthday gathering. The wait staff was outstanding the management made it a point to come say hello and welcome us. What is a nice to have had a slightly more secluded table as opposed to a long row of tables in the center of the restaurant.

Your newbie female server needs more training. Not only did we get the child's strawberry smoothie extremely late and after 3 or 4 askings where it was, it showed up about 15 minutes before we left. Apparently doesn't know the dessert menu--asked for black tie mousse pie to go; found out when i got home that it was tiramisu. No thanks; don't care for it. (Added after initial review) The hostess puts us in the bar (3 adults, a 3-year and almost 2 year old in a high chair that both behaves) next to another table with kids. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly! First, the GOOD : Olive Garden consistently serves great breadsticks and salad. Now the BAD: avoid the shrimp pasta dinner. The garlic sauce was awful. It had a funny taste to it. It didn’t taste spoiled, but it did not taste like quality restaurant sauce. I am a food junkie and can eat anything and everything. If this dish was awful to my palate, I guarantee it is not worth putting it on any menu! This dish is not Olive Garden worthy! My husband had the lasagna dinner plate and he said it was good and that he would order it again. Now for the UGLY: my waitress seemed to be in over her head with a HUGE mistake that she made. I gave her a $50 and a $20 bill …she was supposed to return with $11.80 for my change. Instead, she returned with my original $50 plus my change of $11 and WITHOUT the 80 cents! Had I been a dishonest person, I could easily have kept the $50 because she walked away once she gave me the above. I had to flag her down and show her that she gave me the $50 bill back and shorted me my 80 cents. She had a very sweet disposition, but I don’t think money handling is her forte. Finally, in full disclosure I didn’t say anything to my waitress about my meal. She looked like she was in over her head.

Had to ask someone to find our server. When she finally showed up she didn’t smile, she wasn’t pleasant at all. Very disappointed in our service. Went back to restaurant on 12/27/25 and had the same issue. Bad service or should I say no service. Our waitress took our order and that was it. We didn’t see her again. I had to stop her for drink refills. Never asked us once how we were doing. I stopped her to ask for more salad and by the time she brought it I was done eating. When I expressed my discontent she said she was helping with a large table. I told her respectfully that that was no excuse to ignore us and she should have asked someone to help her if she couldn’t handle both. I asked for to go containers, she brought them and left without saying a word or coming back. Once again I’m disappointed and won’t be going back for a third time.

During a recent visit to the Olive Garden in Waxahachie, I was unfortunately disappointed by the slow service. While I understand that restaurants can have busy times, the wait for both initial greetings and food service was excessive, even though the restaurant was not at full capacity. After being seated, it took a considerable amount of time for the server to take our drink orders. Once the food was finally ordered, it was another extended wait before our meals arrived. Refills and follow-ups were sparse, and it felt like the staff was either short-handed or poorly organized. To their credit, the food was up to Olive Garden’s usual standards, and the staff was friendly when they did interact with us. However, the lack of attentiveness and speed significantly impacted the dining experience. I hope management addresses these issues to improve service for future customers.

We were there 2 hrs,not everyone got their drinks on time. Our orders were lost so we got our dinner to go. They gave a discount on appetizers my sister gave hers free. Because orders got mixed up. Sorry it was our nieces birthday. It was the worst birthday she had. Everything was a mess.

We stopped for dinner last night at 9 PM after arriving from Houston, TX, and unfortunately, our waitress was very unpleasant. We weren’t the only family who arrived around that time, but while other servers were kind and welcoming, ours was the complete opposite. She spoke extremely fast—about 90 mph, it seemed—likely because she was frustrated and eager to leave. She rushed us to order, which we didn’t mind since we were starving anyway. After placing our order, we decided to add something and cancel an appetizer, but she told us we couldn’t cancel. I said, “Okay,” and proceeded to add a kids’ meal, only for her to seem frustrated and tell us we could have done it ourselves on the ordering screen. When we asked for a split plate for the chicken Alfredo, we didn’t receive one; instead, we were simply given an extra plate to do it ourselves. The salad barely had any dressing. At one point, she came by and asked if we needed anything in a rushed manner. My husband asked for a refill, and while he was still sipping the last of his drink, she demanded his cup in a frustrated tone—even as he still had it in his mouth. At that point, I asked another kind waitress for boxes, and we left. We understand that things aren’t always perfect—we’re very understanding people—but demanding someone to stop drinking so you can refill their cup is simply unacceptable.

We used to love Olive Garden, but they've changed. First, an appetizer is what I order to eat while I wait for my meal, not something I want delivered WITH my meal. Second, when the waitress asks for our order, then spends 2 minutes typing it in to the little table computer, I feel like I didn't do my part in the order process. It's now self order, self checkout. The only thing I'm not doing is washing dishes. Third, when I'm spending $12 for soup and salad, give me a good salad and a hearty soup. My salad had no dressing (really the only thing I like about their salad is the dressing) and my Chicken & Gnocci soup had 1 piece of chicken about the size of my fingernail. I'm basically getting creme soup with a few dice sized potato bits and some wilted leaves. A can of chunky soup has tons more value than this offering. Our waitress was nice, but having a hard day, as well. Won't be going back. I have better ways of spending my money.

I felt as if I was a bother to the server. I asked her for a minute because I wanted my daughter to join me, but the way I was getting told no to everything I asked I told her to stay home. If I could give a zero I would give it twice! My family and I are here visiting for 2 birthday dinners. We had a 6:00 reservation it is now 7:03. We keep getting the run around. They finally said “ok, we are going to have to split you up at different tables” that was 20 minutes ago. We are still waiting. For starters our waitress was not pleasant at all when taking our drink order I asked for a sliced of lemon for my water and she completely ignored me. When she came back with drinks my friend told her about the sliced of lemon and she was just like I'll bring it in just a second, well I never seen the lemon. When food arrived after 25 minutes of waiting my husband's fork and my friends were just so dirty we have to asked for more. What scares me the most is that who ever is in charge of getting utensils wrapped up are not paying any attention to dishes being unwashed. We wont be coming back to this location it needs some better management services is slow and the staff are not very helpful

The food from this location came cold and missing a few items. If we want to cook we would cook but to send a Togo order cold with the expectation of the customer recooking is monotonous. Totally unprofessional and disheartening. Won’t get my business again !!!! A waist of time !!!! Especially when the soup is cold and the fettuccine is cold as well. Two breadsticks literally two not two orders!

We came for my sisters birthday and we had to wait 30 minutes before getting our drinks, then another 20 minutes later we finally got some bread sticks, two and a half hours later we got our food and over half of it was wrong/missing. All during this time we were offered one refill and even asked for our drinks to be filled and had to wait until basically we were done eating.

I came in from out of town to celebrate my friends birthday. It was busy so I had patience with our waters and salad taking 30 minutes. We continued to wait 2 HOURS without having any meals. When we looked around, the smaller booths who arrived after us got their meals. The other large party who arrived after us was also receiving their meals and talking to what seems to be the manager. A few of us decided to start walking out due to frustration and I heard some of the wait staff who were standing at the end of the section laugh at us as we walked by. At the front a large group of workers standing around the host stand wished us a good night. When the birthday girl called us she let us know one of the managers offered to speak to the general manager, but it was too late. She and her son had to go get fast food and head home. Her night was ruined to say the least since she went home crying from frustration. For sure I hope a district manager comes to retrain or handle the situation so it doesn’t happen again to others.

An employee asked me for an ID to be able to have a glass of wine this person even asked me to give him one that was issued by the United States, I am a tourist and I frequent this area of Texas where my family is and the first time in my life that someone makes me feel so uncomfortable even used a slightly high tone of voice, I don’t know what his intention was but at least he managed to make me like my lunch a little the name of the employee is (LAYTON). What a shame that I am a lover of this food chain and now I even doubt that it is safe for a tourist who even does an immigration job, at least I will not go to this branch again, thank you and a shame that they do not do the necessary work to choose the workers.

Very disappointed I was on hold for eight minutes. Nobody answered, called back the place my order for pick up. She said it would rush through. It didn’t rush through. It took longer than what she told me in the beginning won’t ever do this again.

We waited 10 minutes for drinks, 20 minutes for the appetizer, and an hour for the entrée. The waiter was chatting with a table for a very long time and then disappeared. He only checked on us three times. The 2nd time he checked on us we asked for refills. Instead he went back to the other guests and continued gossiping then dissappeard again. went looking for him to get the togo boxes, but instead I found the manager (or Assistant manager) who was whispering in a waiter's ear while looking at me. I said "excuse me" twice to her, but instead the guy who was bussing tables helped us out. That same manager was gossiping with that same table majority of our time there too. We got there at 8:30pm and finally left at 10 pm...

Love Olive Garden, but today was definitely a bummer. We were sitting here for about an hour with just water and missing drinks. Our salad was dry and we had asked no onions, tomatoes and olives, they did great with no tomatoes but the onion and olive were there which is fine I can take it off. I am allergic to tomatoes which I have asked before and have came multiple times with no issues but somehow they took another 30 min for our food to come and it wasn’t correct either and we received extra food. We are still waiting for water that was asked about 20 min ago. We got here at 1:50 it is now 3pm and salad never got fixed.

Disgusting hair in my salad made me lose my appetite. No thanks. Never again.

Three of us went in for a late lunch. We were promptly seated, and then just as promptly forgotten. When someone finally realized we hadn't been served, they took our drink and entree order. Two of the three drinks arrived. Eventually, one of the entrees was brought to the table. Bread sticks were specifically requested with that entree, and eventually arrived after much of it had been eaten. Other tables around us were attended well, and had been served, and in some cases were leaving, before our other two entrees arrived. They had obviously been sitting for a while and had been reheated. The third drink did, finally, arrive. No one came by to even ask about refills on our drinks. While the tables around us were well attended, we were ignored. Needless to say, we won't be back. Olive Garden's competition is only a few hundred feet away. Guess where we'll go the next time we want Italian style fare?

This was, by far, one of the worst dining experiences I've had. We walked in and decided to sit at the bar, because it's usually faster. We sat at a dirty counter for a good 5 minutes while the bartender joked and laughed with another employee, before even acknowledging us. The counter had dirty plates and glasses all over. She eventually handed us menus and then walked away. She didn't wipe down the bar top or remove the dirty dishes that were lined up along the rail, behind her and in the service well. My husband got up to use the bathroom and came back saying how bad it was in there. He told someone at the desk and came back to order. He ordered a cup of tea, which came in a paper cup. When my soup arrived, it came in a Togo container. She said the dishwasher broke and they were having to wash dishes by hand. I looked around the restaurant to see dirty dishes piled on tables. There was no pre-bussing taking place, as far as I could see. Then another server in the bar came to box food at his table behind me and he dropped a glass of soda. It went all over the back of me. He never said a thing. In fact, he didn't even clean it up. He left the wet puddle behind me so when I got up, I stepped in it. Every part of this experience was really bad. It was a Sunday night. It wasn't that busy when we walked in. There were employees huddled around the host stand laughing, but no one helping to clean the place. Looking back, we should have left as soon as we sat down, but after working in the cold all day, I was too tired and hungry to go look for somewhere else to eat. I work in the service industry and I know how it should be. This was completely unacceptable.

Had to ask to be seated 2 times the black hostess made me feel uncomfortable what a joke food very small portions way to high of a price you can get more at whataburger

My family went yesterday to get a table, can’t say I know how the service was as I was not there. Typically is a hit or miss. Well today, my wife, me & my sister in law have been throwing up due to the food. (Tour of Italy) I can recall last time we ate here the chicken parm was a similar experience. Don’t enjoy throwing up, so for our sake, we’re going to dodge Olive Garden.

I terribly hate this location. I have to literally double check every single order because they read it back but don’t make it correctly! I ordered 4 meals tonight to go and asked for broccoli EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA SOFT and this broccoli is hard! I asked for 4 sides of Alfredo! There isn’t ANY! Now they are closed and we’re ready to sit down and eat and we can’t because the noodles are so dry! JUST LISTEN FOR CHRIST SAKES!!!

Placed To Go order, waited inside. Waited, Waited, Waited. Finally politely interrupted management and 3 wait staff whom were for the last 5-7 mins gathered at the hostess desk counting and stacking cash representative of tips -to ask if one of the To Go orders behind them was my own. It was! (no one rendered an apology for having not noticed) I would say good food is worth waiting for, but this wasn’t one of those times. The vegetables in the pasta looked and tasted like it should have been tossed out, rather than used to a paying customer.
