Had a minor hiccup with an order, the server handled it great and the manager took personal care of us. Everything else was fantastic (cheese sticks, pepperoni pizza, penne milano, and an angel hair dish I think named “toscano”). And great prices, too. Will be our family dinner stop next time we’re in town for Great Wolf Lodge.

A fantastic pizzeria! The pizza has a crispy and delicious base. All pizzas are generously topped. The pasta dishes are also absolutely unique. The excellent service, friendliness, and attentiveness must also be mentioned. We were passing through and are glad we discovered this gem. Go there and definitely try it!

Five Stars in All Categories FOOD - We we were promptly seated by a host. Had our drink order taken. Drinks arrived with a basket of golden goodness. I'm not sure if they are biscuits or rolls. I do know that they glistened with butter and melted in my mouth. I had the lunch special pizza. Loaded with fresh ingredients. The pepperonis looked and tasted different. A good different. They were light with a hint of smoke. The meal was delicious. It was an 8-inch pizza, and I could not finish it. It came home with a few rolls. Going to the restroom I saw a sign that read "Wood Fired Oven." That's what gave the pepperonis a special flavor! This review is getting long, and I have not touched on Service or Atmosphere. Both categories rate 5 of 5 stars. Our server was a young lady who was very patient & courteous with us. We had questions because the menu is loaded with choices. I have never commented on a restaurant restroom before. This restroom deserves a mention. It is very clean, decorated, and smells fresh. Imagine Bucees bathroom with an interior designer touch. On a busy street with plenty of choice to dine, Angelo's is a MUST stop.

Out of town visiting: 5 ⭐! Found Angelo's via Google Maps. The street and area is filled with other restaurants so it's actually a vibrant and competitive spot in the area. That being said - Angelo's shines. Food - Ordered the Cheese Sticks 🧀 for Appetizer. They were light and had a fantastic breading. The tomato🍅 dip sauce was also excellent. Great temperature (not cold). Entree - Everyone recommended the baked ziti vs. the chicken Alfredo but I ended up going with the chicken Alfredo and was not disappointed! 🍗🍝Chicken Alfredo is a staple at Italian spots - but they nailed a creamy sauce and didn't short on it. The chicken comes grilled and thinly sliced. The 👨‍🍳service was top notch! They will give you new cups for your refills and even offered a to go glass. Atmosphere is warm and the lighting really relaxes the mood. They play a variety of 🎵 music but mostly Italian or light classical music. Would highly recommend and bring friends they have plenty of seating and an excellent large bar you can eat at with TVs.

I ordered for pickup while visiting. We got mediums 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni $33. Enough to share between 4 people. The pizza was delicious. We were eating dinner late and ordered in the last hour so we opted for takeout. But I wish we had the time for dine in. Very nice ambiance and fresh gelato. Courteous hostess. Festive takeout boxes made our vacation a little extra special.

Our first time here. In fact, our first time in Houston, Texas! We wanted to eat at mostly local businesses. We googles something and Angelo’s Pizza and pasta was second option. We decided to eat at Angelo’s because they had better reviews then the other local pizza joint. Good parking. It was a great dine in vibe. It wasn’t too busy when I got there. It was a party of 4. Place was nice and clean. Every food we got was delicious. From the mozzarella sticks, to the chicken wings, to the bottle of wine, and the pizza. We enjoyed every part. Customer service form our server was pretty decent. My guess was, he’s an introvert? Nevertheless, if we’re ever in town, I’d definitely not make this a second but 1st choice pizza spot.

1st time there. The bread was amazing. We got the appetizer sampler and it was fantastic. I got a house salad and the chicken picada. Salad was super fresh, house made dressing was great. My chicken picada was cooked to perfection and extremely flavorful. My date got Penne Milano and it also was cooked to perfection. Very flavorful and well balanced. We shared a strawberry gelato for desert which was authentic gelato. We will be back. Service was great, and we were served our meals very quickly. Bring an appetite, dinner portions are plentiful, we took half our orders home. Two people could easily share an plate.

Chicken Piccata is delicious. All the flavors of the capers, lemon, and cream sauce. I'll be back for this dish alone. The oil spice with the bread was good. The Caesar salad was very good. The house made croutons were a nice touch; soft and crisp.

Do not buy the brisket pizza I was seriously disappointed. I eat here all the time and everything they have is good except for that. There was hardly any brisket on it. It was mostly cheese and onions with a couple of sprinkles of brisket here And there. I’ve had this type of pizza before, so I have to compare it within that scope But everything else they make is amazing to me.

Fun little neighborhood restaurant vibes. All of your Sysco faves can be found here. We had the appetizer platter which was… fine. The tortellini w/ spicy tomato sauce was a highlight, though the tortellini tasted suspiciously similar to the bulk tortellini i used to buy at Costco. Service was good, and the atmosphere was giving classic neighborhood Italian spot. I love the jars full of decade-old peppers and dried tomatoes in oil that kill you if you eat them

We usually love this place. Today the pizza was not so good. We ordered a thin crust pizza and it was more like hand tossed pizza. Not sure if they changed it up but we used to get thin crust and it used to be thin and delicious. Also the pizza was a little burnt. Sad to say we were a little disappointed today with the food. If we go back, it won't be for the pizza. Hopefully they didn't change any other of the menu recipes that we liked. Wish they would have kept the thin crust like we had there once before.

We love your food and have always enjoyed ordering from you, but something strange has been going on with your pizzas lately. We gave it another try recently, and once again, the pizza came out flat as a sheet of paper, with a super thick, hard crust around the edge. The texture and quality just haven’t been there. It’s been so convenient to order from you and have it delivered, but it’s honestly become a disappointment. We’re probably going to take a break for a while and go with one of the big chains when we’re craving pizza. We really hope someone looks into what’s going on with the crust and overall pizza quality. We’d love to come back if things go back to the way they used to be. We've eaten thin pizza before but this is bad unedible Pizza.

our chiropractor actually recommended this place. Since it was our first visit, we introduced ourselves and tried to make it a good experience. Unfortunately, the service just wasn’t what we expected. Our server, whose name was Eva (that’s what she told us), wasn’t attentive. She left for long stretches without checking on us, didn’t ask how everything was, and overall didn’t seem engaged. I have a special needs son, so when we were trying to leave and I was managing him, I accidentally forgot our food. The staff seemed quicker to clear the table than they ever were to check on us during the meal. From the time we ordered until we paid, the experience just felt disconnected and disappointing — especially for a first-time visit that came highly recommended by a trusted doctor. What stood out even more was seeing another server who was attentive, friendly, and really on top of things. I couldn’t help but wish she had been our waitress. Maybe Eva was just having an off day, and if so, I truly hope things get better for her. I can see great potential in this place overall — it just didn’t work out for me and my family this time.
