Maggiano’s will not disappoint. The food is truly authentic Italian, fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The service is outstanding, with staff who are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere is amazing too, perfect for date nights, family dinners, or even large groups. It was a great experience from start to finish.
Our family had an amazing Valentine’s Day lunch — by far the best holiday restaurant experience we’ve had. Everything was exceptional from start to finish. Our waitress was a rockstar, so attentive and even wearing the cutest Valentine’s heart/lollipop earrings! We ordered the four-course family dinner and a few Old Fashioneds — everything was outstanding. 10/10, highly recommend!
The staff here are very welcoming and extremely kind. Our server Morgan was amazing! The food is probably some of the best Italian food. Highly recommend the wagyu stuffed shells and the Italian chopped salad!
Okay, so.... I have to give this place a 5 star. When we walked in, a kind lady seated us and me and my father decided to get that two-person deal that was cheaper than a full meal that we'd usually get. Although you had to stick to a few sections of food like from the pasta section, my food was soooo scrumptious. I had "The Finest Fettuchine Alfredo" and to be fair, it was pretty good. I think that the sauce could've been way less runny. The noodles were good and chewy. My father got a lasagna of sorts. He ate almost all of it. I had to save room for dessert. Although I was full, the dessert was good, as well. I don't remember but the cake was very bread-y like, which was interesting. Very soft and flavorful, along with the strawberries on the plate and cream. The music was beautiful, the soft jazz and singing of a man or women really brings the place to life. The dim lighting, the decor and such, makes the experience 10x unforgettable. It wasn't even loud. I get that when people come here it's like a hit or miss, but this time, it was definitely a hit. I trust this place a lot. There's one thing that I'm sad about, the parking. You get fined now.
This is my daughters favorite place to eat so I have been here often, and I have to say I see the change in service! Morgan was very attentive and gave amazing service. She was very informative about the meal for. It was so much food! Me and my daughter had left overs for two days! The chef came out and greeted the table, the bussers kept our table clean and clutter free. The food was amazing. The eggplant parm is my new favorite. The butter cake was just too good for words. Of course we will be back because my daughter loves this place!
I got the blackened salmon and it was delicious. I do miss the bread you could dip in the herb oil, but the bread we were served was also good. The stuffed wagyu ravioli was delicious. The zucchini appetizer was a lot larger pieces than we had thought it was going to be but that wasn't a bad thing, I do think it was in much need of salt but the dip was delicious that came with it. Our waiter was pretty attentive even though it was packed which I appreciate. The tiramisu was so tasty. I do knock one star for the atmosphere because the waiting area at the front is small and got uncomfortably packed while we were waiting for our table. Had a very tall man step over me while we were seated in the front waiting (was a customer, not someone that worked there)
Last night I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, Caesar salad, and a cheesecake. While waiting, I went to the bar for a drink, the bartenders were super friendly and professional. The atmosphere was cozy, but I couldn’t fully enjoy my cocktail because it was really cold inside. The food was very good the Chicken Parmigiana was well-cooked, the marinara pasta a bit too acidic for my taste, and the Caesar salad nothing impressive. The cheesecake was excellent. However, I’m giving them 5 stars mainly because of GREAT service.
I’ve always loved coming here for special occasions. Today, on my birthday, I couldn’t thank our server, Alex, enough! She was amazing, attentive, patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Alex, if you’re reading this, I want to express my deepest gratitude for having you as my server. Your service made my birthday truly special.
Wow! Morgan was fantastic. The drink I wanted was missing ingredients and she altered it with her own twist and it was even better than the second drink I ordered off the cocktail menu! I appreciated her bartending skills as I used to be a GM of restaurants for many years. She also was always smiling, making sure we were happy and talked with us. Her personality was amazing. I’m so appreciative of the human connection which is so rare these days. Thank you Morgan!
We’ve been to several Maggiano’s locations, but this one stood out in the best way! It wasn’t too busy for a weekend, which made for a calm and relaxing dinner something we really appreciated. Service was fast and friendly, and I was so happy to see they brought back the spice mix for the olive oil. I was honestly disappointed when they removed it for a while it’s one of those small touches that makes the experience feel special. I almost stopped coming because of it, so I’m thrilled it’s back! The bread was warm and soft, just the way it should be. My husband ordered the lobster carbonara, and it was packed with flavor creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. My daughter devoured the chicken fettuccine Alfredo (her go-to), and I kept it light with a classic Caesar salad, which was crisp, fresh, and generously dressed. Overall, great food, fast service, and a relaxed atmosphere. This location just earned a spot as one of our favorites!
This is a large airy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was not busy. I had a smoked old fashioned (first time ever) and it was amazing. Our server Luis was professional and friendly and his recommendations were spot on. For dinner, I had the wagyu stuffed shells and hubby had the lobster carbonara. Both were delicious although hubby and I agreed that we would come back for the shells. So good. And yes we will be back.
Yeah! It was my BFF's birthday! She couldn't have picked out a better place to celebrate. The table setting really nice. The flower vases signaled our server, Aldo, that one of the guests had one. What an awesome 💡! Aldo just finished up, how he will take orders, gave recommendations and so forth (I was running a little late, so I missed out on some of the explanations from Aldo, my bad). The atmosphere was truly like the Italian restaurants I knew from Munich, Germany! The menu well rounded. I ordered the Whipped Truffle and Honey Ricotta as an appetizer, which I never had before, and surprised at how good that combination is! I followed it up with Chicken Marsala. Oh my, the chicken was tender and juicy... oh, so, delicious 😋! Held back on eating all of the appetizer and main dish (Aldo was so kind to box them up for me to take home) so that I could try the Tirimisu! Just right- moist and a little spongy, with coffee liquor like I know it!!! Yum! Yum! Definitely a place to celebrate!!! Highly recommended!

Had lunch with my siblings on a weekday, and it was very nice. The ambiance was classy and the waiter was very kind and gracious. At the Baybrook location, mid day, ask for Ricky. The food was good. Appetizer were great. We had the stuffed mushrooms! The main courses were typical Italian. If you like fennel, great, otherwise, you should know there is fennel in the Lasagna and some of the meat sauces. The bread looked like it would be hard like a brick, but it was light, very soft and served warm. Dessert was tasty. I would definitely order the butter cake again. All dishes were large portions. To have a 3 to 4 course meal I suggest sharing or you'll be taking home a sizable doggy bag. It was expensive and worth the atmosphere for a sister date. It was more about the experience and I enjoyed it. Too bad they now charge for parking in a large radius of mall parking. There wasn't anything special about the spaces and extra security or protection visible. It's unecesary and too expensive as thet charge be the hour! Parking hassle almost ruined the experience but we didn't let it steal our joy.
Nice restaurant in the vicinity of the mall, the main courses are big portion. We were seated a cross from the bar and it was very loud. I visited Italy so many times, The food at Maggiano’s was good, but it lacks a little seasoning to make it more tasty. Service is very good, but I wish if they clear the table from the empty glasses and plates. Prices about $45-$50 with tips per person No alcohol drinks. There is an outdoor seating area, but not recommended during summer!
I have been here in the past and it was great. Today the service and atmosphere was the same. the food had great flavor, I ordered "The Grand" but the texture was rubbery. I felt like it was cooked while frozen. As I said the flavor was good. I had time constraints so I ate it... As it was. As we were leaving it was mentioned to the hostess and we received a free dessert for next time. So next time we shall see!

When I first arrived, the host wasn’t very pleasant. She was drinking her drink with her cup in her face while I was talking to her, and she seemed disinterested in being of service. Also, she had her bra out of her shirt, which was a bit inappropriate. Despite these issues, the atmosphere was beautiful, clean, and not too crowded. My coworkers and I stopped by for lunch, and of course, we got the complimentary bread and butter. I had the mozzarella sticks, which were absolutely delicious, paired with marinara and ranch. After the appetizer, my entree was the grilled chicken fettuccine, which lacked flavor, and the sauce was very loose! For dessert, we got the chocolate cake! The managers were nice, but the server and hostesses were a bit lacking.
Maggiano’s Little Italy has a very special place in our hearts, we had our wedding dinner here and have celebrated many milestones over the years. Unfortunately, our last two visits were disappointing. The chicken tasted cheap and previously frozen, with poor texture and flavor. We were also very sad to see the seasoned olive oil and bread replaced with sweet country bread and butter. That bread service was one of our favorite parts of the experience and truly felt like a signature. We hope it will be brought back and that the quality returns to what made this place so special to us.
I’ve eaten at Their restaurants over the years. This one is at Baybrook Mall off the Gulf freeway south of Houston. The food was pretty good so we really didn’t have a problem with that. We arrived around 3:30 PM and being early, the restaurant at the moment was very slow. The first thing I noticed was when the server bought us our wine glasses; they were spotted with water spots all over them. It was very obvious. Whatever happened to restaurants sending out glassware to the tables that was uh, spotless? At one point, I dropped my napkin on the floor, but of course I was not about to retrieve it. I asked the server for another one and some amount of time went by and then I finally got up and got another set of silverware wrapped in a napkin off of another table. But when I got up to retrieve another set of silverware with the napkin, I noticed the server was at the other end of the dining room, laughing it up with some of his coworkers and he had a mouth full of food! Come on guys do better! It’s Christmas time! Eating out is expensive!

I came in for dinner with my family tonight and everything was perfect food wise, service was okay. My server was helen, everything seemed to be going okay until she took our order and pulled out a notepad and there were a bunch of Political Donald Trump stickers. I just don’t think it’s appropriate to have politics in a family establishment considering everything that’s happening right now in this country. Other than that the chicken parm was incredible! We would be more than happy to come back if this issue is resolved.
Maggiano’s has been our Christmas Eve tradition for years, and we always make reservations at the Baybrook location. We’ve consistently enjoyed our experiences in the past, which is why this review is disappointing to write. This review is not a reflection of the service. Our server was phenomenal, the food runners were polite and attentive, and the manager was excellent. The issue was the food quality, which simply was not the Maggiano’s we’ve come to expect. First, please bring back the old bread. The new complimentary bread felt more like sweet rolls and lacked the flavor that made the original so memorable. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and unfortunately the pasta was rough in texture and only barely warm when it arrived. I truly hope Maggiano’s leadership takes note and avoids the kind of quality decline we’ve seen at other once-great chains. This has always been a special place for our family, and I hope to return soon and be able to update this review with a higher rating.
The food was mediocre at best. Service was stunning though. Looks like a fine dining establishment inside. Food was slightly over priced for what you get. Everything had a bland taste. The food took quite a while before hitting the table. Italian donuts were ok. Drinks were cold so that was a plus. The bread was on point. Pasta wasn't worth it. Chicken fettuccine wasn't great either.

This sadly went down hill !!!! They removed some things on the menu, and the bread not the same they now serve it with butter and and its a mushy sweet bread no olive oil and italian seasoning. No balsam vinegar, no salt and pepper or cheese on the tables !!!! The one good thing was our waiter. Im italian and from NJ and it was the only food in texas I felt was good. Sadly will not be going back 😕
