First time visiting. A perfect experience start to finish. Hostess delightful. Anthony was polite ,personal. and efficient.
Lianna the hostess was super! She was able to juggle a demanding Sunday brunch crowd and still attend to the needs of my group. I felt bad to walk in without a reservation and was happy to wait, but she did a lot of quick thinking to meet my request for a quieter table. Food is delicious as always, Jess P was great at checking in with us--friendly and charming! Thank y'all for such a nice day~
Out to see a movie and opted to hit up here for lunch prior to. So incredibly glad we did! We scored the comfy seat area in front of the fireplace (how cool!) Our waitress, Pam was attentive, accurate, sweet & helpful! (I asked for preference out of 3 potential meals) We started with the biscuits & jam, hash cakes (to die for!) and Korean pork tacos(our least favorite of everything). Out mains were the Rugby (best) the autumn wrap? Turkey, cranberry cream cheese, bacon, delicious cheese sauce in a crepe (also amazing) & the Cubano. The chips & avocado crema were the star of the plate, which is crazy to say. Anyways, if we're back in the area, we will be back!!!
We ordered a sweet crepe, a breakfast omelet, and a cold coffee flight and kids items. The food was great overall — the Nutella crepe was thin and soft, topped with ice cream and chocolate drizzle, and made a nice dessert. The omelet was filling, with a classic sausage and cheese combination, and the toast was nicely done. The drink flight was fun and visually appealing. (We ordered hot chocolate for kids) The “only downside” was the long wait time on Saturday morning. as it was quite busy. If you don’t mind waiting (or make reservation in advance), it’s a nice place to try.
We've eaten here a bunch of times. This morning we came for breakfast and enjoyed our meal so much. Not only does the food look like it came out of a magazine, it tasted absolutely delicious. Our server was friendly and offered little extras to make our meal and visit very enjoyable. It's not a cheap meal but they make worthwhile.
Our server was beyond amazing she(Shannon) was attentive, kind & never had to ask for anything. She was just on top of it. My food was delicious didn’t even need a doggie bag. Which is code for sweatpants immediately cause we 🐷out. We will definitely be back and will be asking for her to be our server again! Thank you for a wonderful evening.
There were four of us for dinner. I enjoyed a bowl of tomato bisque and a order of poutine. The soup was excellent and the potatoes just average. Our server was incredibly friendly and efficient. She definitely added to the overall experience. We would definitely go back again.
We started off with Brussels(cooked with onions and thick Applewood Smoked Bacon), and poutine for appetizers. I ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu and Tomato Basil Soup. My boyfriend ordered North Country Omelette and Tomato Basil Soup. absolutely delicious soup. Every bite was better than the last. We were surprised to find the Chicken Cordon Bleu, came in an egg roll shaped deep fried type crêpe. First thing with flavor service was definitely 10 star.
My wife and decided to give this place a shot since we saw it on the best thing I ever ate tv show a long time ago. I love Big Mac’s and figured we’d give it a go. We went early afternoon around 1:30 and it wasn’t packed. There were people inside but we missed the lunch rush which is how we like it. For drinks I ordered a Bloody Mary and my wife ordered the Peach Yuzu Mojito mocktail. Both were very good. I ordered the Korean Pork Tacos as an appetizer. I’m a sucker for things like these flavors. They were very good. I forgot to take a photo though because we were hungry! I enjoy the spicy yet BBQ type flavors of this and I would get this as a meal if they had a full sized one. For meals my wife got the Huevos Rancheros. She stated that it was very good as she finished the whole thing and complained of being full. That’s a good compliment. I got the Rugby Crepe which is the Big Mac style Crepe that was on the TV show. It reminded me of a Big Mac but with higher quality steak. It was very good and I was not disappointed. It was also fairly large and I didn’t finish it all so I brought the rest home. We will see how it holds up! This place has a good amount of choices without being overwhelming. The front of the menu is mostly breakfast stuff and the lunch / dinner options are on the back. We will go back!
Simply Crepes is an upscale breakfast and lunch restaurant that beautifully blends immaculate traditional crepes with American and local favorites. The environment is warm, welcoming, and gives the sense that a new friendship is just around the next corner (or on the next plate). Highly recommended visiting at least once to experience the friendly and attentive staff, versatile and consistent chefs, and welcoming management and ambiance. Kudos to on site manager for stepping on the floor multiple times to help bus and wash tables and empower his cooks and waitstaff to serve to their capacity. :)
This restaurant never fails when it comes to making gluten free crepes! We did the brunch on Saturday and We ended up sitting at the bar counter as it was super busy . so you are highly recommended to make a reservation beforehand. Iced oat milk shaken espresso is a must try drink for people like me who are intolerant with dairy. Their maple sausage stackers is so delicious!!
Very busy for a Sunday Brunch HIGHLY RECOMMEND A RESERVATION!!! Parking lot gets full quickly during busy days. Be mindful of that when coming. Similar menus from other locations which is great if you’ve been to a different location. Always a great spot for brunch for the savory and sweet people to find common ground.
There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe the food and service here. From the hot cocoa, coffee and tea to the Crepe madam, breakfast sandwich and crepes w/Nutella were ALL outstanding. Not to mention our server who was always on the ball and answered every question. Coming back here soon!!!
I was traveling and saw this place and it looked interesting. Boy am I glad I found this place. Best crepes I've ever had, I had the Short Rib breakfast burrito crepe. Not only is the food phenomenal but the waiters are super helpful. Jackie waited on us and was super nice. Great outdoor area and bar too. Have a breakfast/ lunch menu from open to noon on weekdays and till 2:00 on weekends. Lots of Gluten free options too. The kitchen is surrounded by clear glass so you can see them cook your food.
Walked in and we were immediately greeted and seated. The waiter thoroughly explained and offered many suggestions. The drinks were excellent and greatly priced. Burrito was lackluster, just seemed to be without seasoning. The poutine fries were tasty with every bite. The banana and creme crepes made my mouth excited on a another level. We added strawberry's to ours. Felt like I was eating banana pudding. I couldn't get enough. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful and comforting. Looking forward to my next visit and I've already told several people about it.
📍 Simply Crepes Kitchen and Bar Located out in the Webster area near Penfield, this spot is known for brunch vibes, crepes, and elevated breakfast plates. But the real question is… Is it hype? Or is it just aesthetic with no damage output? Let’s break it down. 👨👩👧 The Mission Took my wife and daughters out for breakfast. Sometimes you gotta step away from the grind, step away from the streams, and just lock in with the family. Atmosphere walking in? Warm. Bright. Not too loud. Comfortable but still classy. It gives you that “we outside but we still responsible adults” energy. No chaos. No long awkward waits. Staff was attentive. That matters. 🥊 The Dad Fuel Build (My Plate) I ordered the Protein Omelet. This wasn’t no little weak omelet either. We’re talking: Hearty portion Packed with meat Fluffy eggs — not dry, not rubbery Toast on the side Sausage links Loaded breakfast potatoes Now let’s talk mechanics. The omelet had real structure. It wasn’t falling apart. Every bite had balance — meat, egg, seasoning. The sausage? Solid snap. Good flavor. Not greasy in a bad way. The loaded potatoes? Crispy edges, soft inside. Actually seasoned. Not just there to fill the plate. This plate does exactly what it’s supposed to do: Fuel a dad. Fuel a content creator. Fuel a man who’s about to pay the bill 😂 It’s not flashy — but it’s dependable. And sometimes dependable wins fights. 👑 The REAL Final Boss RumChata Crème Brûlée French Toast Now this right here… This is why you come. Me and my wife split the RumChata Crème Brûlée French Toast and I’m telling you right now — this is NOT regular French toast. Thick-cut slices. Soft center. That caramelized brûlée layer on top with the slight crack when you tap it with the fork. You know that sound when armor breaks in a game? That’s what that sugar crust did. Flavor profile: Sweet but not overwhelming Creamy RumChata undertone Rich without feeling heavy Balanced It’s indulgent. It’s celebratory. It’s “we deserve this” energy. And I’m not even exaggerating — halfway through we looked at each other like… “Should’ve ordered two.” That plate was doing boss-level damage. 👨👩👧👧 Family-Friendly Check If you’ve got kids? You’re good. Space between tables is solid. It’s not cramped. It’s not chaotic. It’s not giving “don’t bring your children here.” This is: Family brunch ready Date ready Sunday after-church ready Birthday breakfast ready It’s versatile. 🚗 Parking Situation Plaza parking. No stress. No circling. No parallel parking boss battle. You pull up. You park. You eat. You win. 💰 Price vs Value Now let’s talk real. This isn’t fast food pricing. But it’s also not overpriced “Instagram brunch with tiny portions.” You get: Solid portion sizes Quality ingredients Sit-down service Comfortable atmosphere You’re paying for quality and experience — and it feels justified. 🎮 Final Verdict – Is It a Boss Fight? For breakfast? Yes. This is not a side quest diner. This is not gas station brunch. This is a mid-to-high tier breakfast boss that you actually want to fight again. ⭐ Boss Fights and Bites Official Rating: 9.0 / 10 Why not a 10? Because if I’m thinking about that French toast days later… that means I’m emotionally invested. And I don’t like when breakfast has that kind of control over me 😤😂 If you’re in the Webster / Penfield area, Simply Crepes Kitchen and Bar is absolutely worth the pull-up. Clean family vibes. Strong plates. Final boss French toast. Another W for Boss Fights and Bites 🔥
Our server was awesome. Extremely attentive and friendly. Not sure what the problem was, but all of the food was ice cold, and no one in our party of seven got their food at the same time. One order was sent back to be remade and it finally came when the entire party was done eating.. still cold. A young woman who I assumed was the manager came over to apologize and removed the item from the bill. Overall, it seems like the kitchen gets overwhelmed and can’t handle the business. At least the staff is patient and friendly.!
I’ve been to Simply Crepes - Pittsford on a couple of occasions; the Pittsford location is amazing. Given availability, I went to Simply Crepes - Webster for the first time today. The food was great, as usual. However, for the first time in my life, we (a party of four) were asked to leave the restaurant because another party had a reservation. Now, there were a number of open tables available. I fully understand that reservations are made; however, the news could have been shared in a more professional manner—and not announced out loud for everyone to hear, as if we were a bother or nuisance. What was most bothersome was the attitude and demeanor in which we were asked to leave; the waiter’s passive-aggressive demeanor only added to the discomfort. I truly loved the chain—until today—and am a bit saddened by the experience. Hopefully, this is not a typical occurrence.
Our waiter was very inattentive and my order had surprise cottage cheese. The turkey BLAT finally arrived and I found out via my first bite that it was topped in cottage cheese under the dressing. We waited, waited, and waited for our server to check on us but he never did. It took me calling out to another waitress, asking if she could help us get our check, to prompt his appearance table-side. When he wanted to know why I didn't want a to-go box I let him know I didn't care for the food (I had eaten none of it.) He then offered to replace the food, but at that point we had been sitting around for about 20 minutes, my husband was long done eating, and we were ready to leave. No other offers to make things right, or discount my meal. As I mentioned, cottage cheese is not included on the menu as an ingredient in the crepe creation I ordered, but I also didn't want to become an internet meme so we settled our bill and left. I was exceptionally disappointed.
I’ve visited several times since this location opened in Webster, and unfortunately I’ve had repeated negative experiences with one particular server (I don’t know her name). I do want to note that our server today, Adriana, was wonderful and very attentive. However, the other server I’ve encountered has been consistently rude. During our visit, my dad raised a concern, and her response was dismissive and unprofessional. She brought the manager over, who also handled the situation in a similarly dismissive tone. I understand not every complaint can be resolved perfectly, but courtesy and professionalism should always be part of the interaction. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself as both a hostess and a manager, I know how important respectful communication is. I hope management addresses this, because experiences like this really impact an otherwise enjoyable visit.
