Not only was the ambience and the atmosphere perfect for a romantic date night with my girlfriend but the food was absolutely delicious. Our wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable on menu items as well as wine. Nikola the GM made us feel welcome continuously checking on us throughout our meal. We will definitely be back. What started as a convenient dinner choice because we were staying at the Hilton above quickly turned into one of the highlights of our New York trip. We dined at Chazz Palminteri Italian Restaurant multiple times, and every visit reinforced the same conclusion: this place is exceptional. The food is classic Italian American done at the highest level. The meats are the true stars here. From perfectly cooked steaks carved tableside to beautifully prepared lamb and braised dishes, every plate arrived rich, flavorful, and executed with confidence. Tender, juicy, and deeply satisfying, this is comfort food elevated to fine dining standards. The sauces were full of depth, the sides balanced the dishes perfectly, and the presentation was elegant without feeling pretentious. Equally impressive is the service. Denis, Nora, Diona, and the rest of the team delivered consistently outstanding hospitality. Warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, they made us feel welcome from the very first evening and remembered us on each return visit. Service like this is rare and makes a huge difference. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale Manhattan dining and relaxed Italian charm. It feels lively, polished, and timeless all at once. Whether you are staying at the Hilton, visiting Midtown, or simply looking for a restaurant you will want to revisit during your stay in NYC, this is an absolute must. We will definitely be back on our next trip to New York. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Chazz Palminteri’s restaurant in New York, and it was one of the highlights of our Christmas night. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt festive, cozy, and full of that classic New York charm. You could really feel the holiday spirit in the room. The food was absolutely amazing, truly finger-licking good. We started with calamari and shrimp, both perfectly prepared and full of flavor. For the main dishes, we had lamb cutlets, short ribs, and lobster ravioli. The portions were incredibly generous — the short ribs were so huge that my guys had to help me finish them 😂 and everything tasted fantastic. What really made the evening special was the service. The entire crew was attentive and welcoming, and the manager, Denis, was often walking around the restaurant, checking in on guests (including us) to make sure everyone was well taken care of. That personal touch made a big difference and made us feel genuinely welcome. Great food, a festive atmosphere, and outstanding service, we truly loved this place and would highly recommend it, especially for a special evening in New York.

Classic Italian cuisine well prepared and served. The wait staff was attentive, though our particular server was new. He made up for that with his enthusiasm. It was our first time so of course, I ordered “The Bronx Tail”. My wife ordered the veal and both were perfect. Would highly recommend for a special Occasion. We live out of state, however, I’m certain that if I lived in the city, the staff would quickly know me by first name.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an incredible place! My husband and I had dinner at Chazz Palminteri last night and were truly blown away. The food was delicious, we both started with the mozzarella, then my husband had the rack of veal and I had the sausage and broccoli rigatoni. Absolutely amazing! The service was second to none. We arrived 15 minutes early and were seated straight away with bread, olives, cheese and oil. Our server, Hedon, was outstanding and one step ahead. He was attentive, friendly, and we never had to ask for a thing. He kept our wine and water topped up all evening even chatted with us between courses. Brilliant atmosphere, exceptional food and flawless service. Definitely a must-visit!

Dennis, Norah, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food truly felt like one of NYC’s best-kept secrets. I forgot to snap photos of all our dishes, but everything was exceptional. The burrata with watermelon was incredibly creamy and perfectly balanced. My daughter’s chicken parmigiana was phenomenal—thin, crispy, and topped with a delicious sauce and cheese. My youngest ordered the lobster ravioli, which was packed with fresh lobster in every bite. I highly recommend it! My husband stepped out of his comfort zone and tried the spaghetti and meatballs, and he was so glad he did—they were tender, flavorful, and delicious. We ended our meal with the crème brûlée and the lava cake, and you truly can’t go wrong with either one. And the drinks—wow! The bartender makes an excellent cocktail. Definitely try the limoncello!

Nicola and Diona were amazing. We were the first guest on Thanksgiving from Texas. The atmosphere, and the people here are precious. The food was the best I have eaten so far in this beautiful city. The wine was perfect pairing for our meal. The salmon and mago was prepared to perfection. The tiramisu was a first for me and I don’t think I’ll find better. Loved these folks. Thank you. You can’t go wrong here.

The menu is full of delicious options, and every dish I tried was expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and great flavor balance. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The staff were attentive and friendly, but the star of the place is their maitre d'. He’s simply amazing: he always anticipates needs before they arise, guides you through the menu with expert recommendations, and makes sure our glasses never run dry. His professionalism and genuine warmth always add a personal touch that make the dining experience truly memorable. If you’re looking for a wonderful Italian meal with top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place. Each time we’re in the area, this is our place to go!

My husband and I have come to Chazz Palmenteri’s Restaurant many times over the past couple years for various special occasions, including celebrating milestones in our relationship; birthdays; and bringing our family to our favorite Italian restaurant NYC. We live locally (NJ), and will sometimes come into the City just to have dinner here. Between the food and the folks who work here, it has been one of my favorite dining experiences ever. The food is really high quality and reasonably priced (tonight we had chicken parm and lasagna, both incredible). Combine that with their theater prix fix menu (they are a stone’s throw from Times Square) and happy hour deals, and you cannot beat the quality and the value. And we always save room for dessert (it’s all amazing, but the cannoli is our favorite). Lastly, the staff here is incredible. They are kind, thoughtful, generous, and welcoming every time. We love it here, and will be back again soon.

What a discovery in the middle of 46th between 5th and 6th Avenue! I stay at one of the University clubs on 44th, this is a great new walkable addition. Old school atmosphere with intimate linen-deaped tablea, amazing staff -- from the waiters to the floor manager. Attention to the table just right. Absolutely amazing atmosphere in the two main dining rooms, subdued Edison bulbs and perfect lighting... And the fresh-made pasta: amazing. I highly recommend. This is going to be a new "go to" place whenever I go to NYC. Note: they do cater to the pre-theatre crowd with a fixed price menu -- we didn't do that but it is a available. Service was quick. Finally, we had a Super Tuscan wine by the glass that was absolutely fantastic. Great wine list I looked at, too. I totally loved this restaurant !

Absolutely incredible, the most amazing meal from the main course to the dessert. Even the bread was phenomenal, the spaghettian meatballs, which my brother had were perfect. I went to Chazz Palminteri’s a couple of days ago for dinner. We had a reservation, and the place is honestly beautiful — very fancy, classy, and the atmosphere inside is really nice. It definitely gives you that upscale Italian restaurant vibe. We started with drinks, and our server (a skinny guy in his twenties) was polite and everything seemed fine at first. The issue started when our main courses came out wrong. I ordered the chicken rollatini but received chicken parmigiana instead. We had to wait about 10 minutes for them to fix the mistake, which was a bit frustrating but not the end of the world. One of the managers came over to apologize. He was an older gentleman, but what really bothered me was that he smelled like alcohol. I found that pretty disturbing, especially in a place that presents itself as high-end. Later, another manager came to check on our table, and he also smelled like alcohol. At that point, it didn’t feel like a coincidence. It honestly made the whole experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. Overall, the restaurant itself is beautiful and the food was good once it was corrected, but the management’s behavior left a bad impression on me. For a restaurant at this level, I expected a more professional experience.
