I love the places good food

Always good food, and the staff is friendly. I had to wait for someone to have a procedure done early morning and they were open early and near to AV Medical Center.

The Toms burrito was good. It kept me full at work. The salsa was good.

Drove thru and ordered, and as always, it was yummy and filling. I have always been happy with both the food and the service. It is one of my go-to places when I don't want to cook. I have tried several menu items as well as my family and can't think of a time when I was disappointed.

Fast, tastey food. Love the Toms breakfast burritos. The family burger combo is a tasty filling family dinner. Feeds big boys very well and filling. Definitely a family favorite plus those thick creamy shakes are heaven.

1st time there, to be honest I was skeptical @ first. I now know I shouldn't have been. The item I got was the Turk/Avo on a French roll 😋😋 You guys need 1 little procedure improvement....spread the Avocado to cover the bread fully. I will definitely return to eat again 🤘🏼

Tom's is one of my favorite places to eat! Not fancy but has a huge menu. The servings are generous and everything I've tried has been delicious. Sometimes the wait at the drive thru is long, but food is hot when you get it.

One of favorite place for breakfast in the AV. Very good food at reasonable prices. The juevos rancheros is bomb!!! The biscuit and gravy was good too but I would get toast next time

I see lots of 1stars of the service of cash register workers from female reviewers, I think it’s because they are all jealous of how pretty the waitress n register girls are compared to them and their BF’s or husbands were checking them out, lol. Tom's is a Lancaster staple. Do not leave town without trying Tom's. Delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner; dine-in, carry-out, or Postmates. Service with a friendly smile. Great for groups of all sizes and ages.

Drive thru moves fairly quickly for made to order food. Prices are less than desirable but that seems to be everywhere these days. The upcharge for eggs is understandable but I'd like to see it removed if/when eggs go back down to a reasonable price. Food is good, as always.

The only thing I don't like, is that they don't give you an opportunity to put a tip in your card receipt, so if you don't have cash, you can't reward employees for the good service they provide here.

Well i eat here every week with kids. And the food is very delicious well cooked and the portions are good price is right. Love all the Tom's Burgers, every time that I see one of them I run to get my favorite dish but honestly I like all the Menu from them, like the chicken salad, taco plate, burritos, all the sandwiches but my favorite is "Steak & cheese sandwich " and not leaving out side my favorite hamburgers Special bcuz for one price I get a delicious combo, that's coming with French fries and a drink and I won't forget dessert, they offer delicious cakes or cheese cakes and also I really love that the place is always shiny clean and smells all the food that they preparing, the bathrooms are also very clean, I love everything about Tom's BURGERS and now that you can dinning in is much better bcuz you eat it hot and tasty and I won't leave behind the personnel all of them are always happy, polite, friendly and they always greeting you at the entrance, I'm hungry all the time for Tom's BURGERS.

Very good experience. The counter staff was friendly. The menu is well laid out. The 50/50 (half ground beef/half ground bacon) was excellent. They have RC as the fountain choice which was refreshing. I would recommend.

Fast food just isn't fast anymore 🙄 The staff didn't seem to think that the 10+ minute wait for 1 sandwich was excessive or that offering any sort of compensation - a cup of water or a drink was necessary. Sorry that people get hot and thirsty when it's over 100 out. Won't be back.

C'mon check the oil regularly. Excellent service!! There were bites in my brkfast burrito that were awesome but without question, something was cooked in old oil. Mostly the potato portions I think.

Food was good. For how many employees that were in the back I was surprised how many were just standing around talking and then saying " they all were very busy" yeah talking and ignoring the customers. I poured two cups of coffee and none of the employees even noticed that I had gone in the back to grab to coffee pot. It's not normally like this so hopefully they step up there game.

Honestly I’m not a big fan. As someone who grew up in LA, nothing is topping the toms and rams burgers from that area. I tried this place in hopes that it would be familiar but the meat had no seasoning… the chili cheese fries were pretty gross I mean the meat they use is not good at all. The portions for the price is good , and the drinks are good too. But when the whole kitchen is teenage men, you can expect the food to taste unseasoned . Best part : the amount of banana peppers they give you . Side note : the dressing is so thick and creamy, not the best flavor but it worked . Would I eat here again? Eh prob not

A good spot for a variety of food. The food is always decent here but sometimes the wait times are way too long. It's also not always the cleanest. The staff is usually very nice and helpful with whatever you need. I like the gyro and the club sandwiches. The salads are really big and tasty.

Had the chicken and waffle. The batter on the chicken needs some TLC. NO seasoning at all just bare chicken. Very crispy! Without the seasoning it's not good. Waffle was huge thick and tasty. I'm definitely going back. Tonight I may try the Rib eye. Hopefully it's as good as it looks

There are several fast food/ diners out here in the antelope valley. We got primos, doubles, louie burgers... tom's...of course... the list kinda goes on. Mostly, the menu options and prices are fairly the same across the board... However, in my opinion, Tom's stands out from the rest because they have certain menus that are unique. The 50/50 burger is a bacon paradise! The shakes are bomb, and they have a very reasonable value menu that cant be beat! The place really deserves another star, truth be told, but the girl who was behind the counter had a very sour attitude! Quality customer service is a must in the time of the covid-nightmare, in my book... the girl should've popped her prozac or Midol or whatever before starting her shift... just saying...smh... what else can I say?

Its a decent diner. Nothing fancy or amazing. OK food at OK prices. Other reviewers who are complaining need to reign in their expectations and remember this is a diner not a four star restaurant. The BLT was OK. Toast was over cooked but that was my fault as I prefer under toasted. Bacon was extra crispy as ordered. The fries were good. My friend said her burger was decent. The avacado was not brown which is rare for these types of places. Yes, the staff could have been faster to clear tables and the bathroom could have been better, but again, its a cheap diner. We will be back when we want a cheap burger that is not true fast food.

I went to have brunch with my daughter and the Cashier did not had a good customer service she was rude. After I paid for my food I asked the cashier if I needed a number or if they would call me by my name since this was my first time at the location, she said I gave you a number just go sit down (I was in front of her all the time and she never provided me with the number) then she said again I gave it to you so I responded her I been here in front of you all the time. She noticed her mistake and gave me a random number next to her and said go sit down without apologizing for the incident or even say thank you. Its difficult to hear the drive-thru clerk through the intercom. I ordered the veggie burger combo. The clerk at the window was really rude, I figured she might have a bad day. It took 20 mins to get my food at the window. The fries were fine, the burger was Inedible. The bun was burnt, hardly any sauce and the patty was really burnt.

The food was tasteless. The service sucked. I understand that now is not the same world after COVID but it seems ridiculous that things have gone this bad. Sadly sad. The service was so bad even the server was supposedly upset because we had the wrong number yet our receipt showed the same exact number. If you don't like your job. News flash life is about choices. Do what you do and do it well. That's my two cents.

I used to eat here all the time it was great however this visit was nothing but disappointing. I started to order then they told me to hold and then I had to reorder all over because somehow they didn't have what I already asked for. The pastrami I asked for well done and it wasn't. I asked for half and half fries and onion rings they only gave me a big box of onion rings which was probably the best part of the meals the French fries weren't even warm and I haven't a clue what that thick ham was compared to the other meat in the club.

Another dismal experience at this place. Came in and ordered three combos to go and two to eat here. How hard is that to mess up? Apparently not that hard. My daughter got her food (minus one side item) and I was still waiting for my food. We had no drinks given to us when we ordered. I ended up taking my order to go. And the three orders to go? Not ready and still had to wait!

I have a preferred toms restaurant I go to up on 47th st but since this one is closet to my house I came here twice to get my daughters favorite chicken tenders meal and both times the chicken tenders were over cooked and over seasoned. The chicken was so fried and so dry it was difficult to chew also they were so salty with that seasoning they add . I love that seasoning but they went overboard with it. We Had to throw it away twice since we didn't notice cuz we went through the drive thru we waited to eat it at home. Would not come to this location again.

I come here at least once a week. Usually get the club (wonderful) or the chicken tender plate (also wonderful). My only issue is I always get sour cream with my tenders. And it's expensive, which i don't mind paying. However, the girls have been given me literally water. Sour cream is supposed to be a thick cream. And I've been getting the water that sits on top of sour cream when you don't stir it. And that shit is 1 disgusting as a business to do, 2. You guys charge a dollar per cup, and I always buy 4 cups. So I'm paying 4 dollars for the WATERED sour cream. I won't be back to this Tom's. I'll have to try one of the others.

Chili cheese fries... Yeah I wouldnt. They werent good. I didnt even finish them. Service was what you expect. It has a drive through that's helpful.

I’ve been to several Tom’s locations, and this one just doesn’t measure up. The food was decent, but nowhere near the quality I’m used to from the other Tom’s. It felt like everything was just… passable, not memorable. The service was the real disappointment. It fell well below expectations. Honestly, I’ve had better service at a 3‑star Denny’s—and better food too, which says a lot. There was no sense of attentiveness or care, and it definitely took away from the experience. Overall, Tom’s Burgers 26 needs to step up both its service and food quality if it wants to match the standard set by its sister locations.

When I opened the lid of the cup of tea, a odor similar to pond water came from it. I had my doubts. Checked my breath, nope not me! I originally would give Tom's five stars. I've been going here for probably 5 years and I don't know if somebody bought this Tom's or what. A long time I went there. The food was just overly salty. The lettuce was wet. I said well maybe it's just one of those things. Then I took my son there for his birthday. There was nobody in the place. The floor is filthy. The bathroom is filthy. Then they bring me an iced tea that smelled like dirty mop water and I've been grossed out ever since!!!!!

We just had trouble with our service dog they wouldn't let him in because they said this health inspector was going to shut them down but he was no problem very quiet little dog sat in the car with the air conditioner on his 19 years old blind and deaf cannot see or hear he was no trouble at all he's an emotional support dog for my girlfriend that has no legs she's been in a wheelchair for 6 years now lost both legs to diabetes, and she was in the hospital so I was taking care of him for her so she didn't have to worry about her dog and her health at the same time. They came at us three times about the dog it was Father's Day so we didn't want to cause a scene so we just put the dog in the car with the air conditioner on. I understand I told them when the health inspector comes I will talk to him but they kept insisting that we take the dog outside.

Which was a joke considering we spent way over that ammount. I had a pastrami sandwich which was just fair. My wife ordered a #4, bacon avocado cheeseburger, and even specified that the bacon should be crisp. I paid for the total without looking at the details. The cheeseburger was missing the bacon and avocado so my wife went to the counter to ask for what she had clearly ordered. Server followed her back to the table to have me stop eating my greasy sandwich and pull the receipt out of my wallet. She said the cashier didn’t ring it up that way and walked away with no apology or offer to make it right. Don’t get much for employees nowadays.

I ordered in the drive thru and the lady was very rude and did not get my prefer right. She said I cannot order just eggs, bacon, and sausage. Then went on to say that I can order it and that it would be $15. I finally pay and receive my food and was very disappointed with the amount of food I received and also the fact that my food was missing or just incomplete smh. They have gone drastically downhill the past few years. The customer service and food quality has decreased as the prices continue to increase. If you get anything with thier "sausage" gravy, bring a magnifying glass to find the sausage pieces. And the fries, onion rings, and zucchini are a pale, greasy, soggy mess that looked like they were just cooked in a microwave instead of fried. And if you try to talk to management about your concerns, all you get back is lies and excuses, since they no longer care about quality or customer service.

My mom bragged about how good the food was. I strongly disagree. My eggs were scrambled hard(dried out) hash browns were mushy, bacon tasted like plastic and the sausage wasn't worth the one bite I took. The pancakes were good but the strawberries that topped them, looked like something my dog threw up. Needless to say, I would not return to this establishment

if I could put 0 stars i would. if the pastrami sandwich wasn't for my dad. I would have left with my money back. worst service ever.

I ordered a pastrami on rye toast. This is what I got. The meat was so tuff that I couldn't eat it. The toast is beyond burnt. What a waste of $13.22!!!. Never again!!!!

The breakfast was horrible, pancakes were under cooked, eggs were cold, never going back.

Not sure what is going on at this Toms but lately it's been sucking. My orders are wrong, hair found in some items and telling me certain items on menu are no longer. Ive been to plenty of toms and this one is the worst. Hope you guys can improve.

The WORST. Today, Wednesday January 7 2026 at approximately 1:30 pm I arrived at Tom’s restaurant, 1805 W Avenue J in Lancaster with two guests. As we walked in the music was loud enough to make it difficult to hear, and at the counter placing our orders I had to ask the female order taker what she was saying to me several times. Three orders and $52 later we picked a table that didn’t have dirty dishes on it and waited for our order with our drinks. While waiting, I asked one of the workers if they could lower the music because we were having to raise our voices to hear each other at the table. There were about 5 other guests in the restaurant at the time. Then a female server brings 2 of the 3 orders, and the order with the steak had a side of white dipping sauce that was literally dripping from the side of the plate onto the floor, and across the table to the person sitting furthest away. The server walked away and we sat waiting for the third person’s order - a WAFFLE - which arrived just under 10 minutes later. No person came to wipe the sauce off the floor or across our table (whose job is that … the customers??) and to top it off, we were NOT GIVEN ANY UTENSILS. So there we sit after paying over $50 for 3 meals on a Wednesday at maybe 1:45-ish in the afternoon with maybe 8 customers TOTAL in the place, with white sauce still on the floor at our booth, and now having to ask for utensils. Finally I asked for someone to wipe the sauce off the table. The sauce on the floor remained as we left. And the whole time we sat there with the “table number stand” which was not removed from our table when the waffle was finally delivered. I guess everything is the customer’s job when the boss is gone? This was the WORST experience I’ve EVER had at ANY food establishment, and I will be telling everyone I know about this 100% DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMERS. We have been regulars at this particular location since they first opened, and I have told many people about this place for YEARS, and I will now be telling everyone about the absolute neglect of the staff who worked on this day. After years and years of faithful patronage I will not be back.

I went through the drive through with ONE car in front of me and it took 30min!! SERIOUSLY? made me late for an appointment because what kind of drive through takes 30min. and when they gave me my food they had no care in the world it took that long and NO they were not busy AT ALL. pathetic.

Cold biscuit and gravy. Asked could I get one that’s hot and was told they would heat it up in the microwave. Horrible customer service and even worse food.

Just walked out after getting horrible service. We ordered biscuits and gravy, when we received the food the gravy was cold. The plate was taken to the register and the only option we were given was they could put it in the microwave. When we said we didn’t want it warmed up in the microwave but rather a new plate with the gravy actually heated, the response was “the microwave is how we do it”. That was surprising but it was more her tone that made the visit unpleasant. It was our first time in this Tom’s and definitely our last. It’s crazy that this is what’s acceptable here.

Drive thru person was nice but their food preparer needs serious skill trading. I ordered a small chili cheese frie and it looks like not only slapped together but not even a complete order. Cmon how do you screw up chili cheese fries. I will not be going back. 10$ for this. Just SAD!
