First time here and let me say as soon as u walk in, it's a whole vibe. First their menu looked amazing, I went with "Frankenstein " since I was looking for my matcha fix and let me say...they did not disappoint. Did not wait long and there's plenty of space in the shop were social distance is still a thing. For sure coming back when we are in town again!
My gf and I loveeee this spot. We drive here once every few weeks to play pinball and get some good coffee. Thankfully they’ve fixed up a lot of their pinball machines. I especially love all of the Elvira machines. Their decorations for the HorrorCade are top notch, as well as their coffee, teas, and specialty drinks. Their merch is also sooo freakin’ awesome.
New RAD Coffee in W. Covina now. Great merch selection, like 4 stickers for $8 bucks, and t-shirts & hoodies ranging feom $20-$50. Mugs are $12-$15. They have similar coffee prices to compete with the others, but the difference is the quality and the branding. If you want some good tasting coffee and would like to buy some select coffee beans then this is your spot. Upland has the 1st RAD.
Love this place just as much as the one in Upland. So happy they are expanding. This location used to be a Starbucks, so the layout is nice and spacious. Although, it's a new location, its still the Rad Coffee you'd expect. Ordered my favorite, The Wolf, and its no different than the location in Upland. The merch here is awesome too! Wish I could buy everything.
I think this place is....rad. (I'm sorry couldn't help it). The coffee is good. It's creative and unique and it tastes good and looks cool. The vibes are great and punk-y and the staff is friendly. Bonus that it's open till midnight. I just really wish they had seating here. Normally when I go for coffee it's to get work done so I don't come here for my coffee as often as I'd like to since I like somewhere to sit. I still love this place and am working my way through the menu but seating would be great.
Rad Coffee is one of the best places you'll ever visit. A wide variety of drinks, monthly drink specials and the prices are amazingly great. Don't overpay for drinks like at other places. The staff is above and beyond the best! They have always been friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is wonderful. The iced green tea is so perfectly done, you don't need sweetener. You truly can't go wrong with any drink on the menu. Don't let the look of the store fool you. You won't regret getting a drink from Rad whenever you're near.
I drove 1hr 30 mins for this place. Service was okay. But what interested me the most were the drinks. I ordered cookies and scream, zombie lemonade, creature lemonade, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. My favorite was the zombie lemonade. It was perfect. It was definitely worth the drive. I’ll be coming back just for the zombie lemonade. I also enjoyed the cookies and scream. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch was okay not the best.
Need to refuel your brainfog and wildly caffinate the undead?! This is the spot. Recognizable by their cups alone 💀 this gem of a shop is a masterpiece. Their aesthetic gives life to my little, dark, cold heart. The location is larger than the Upland location; think family mauseoleum versus familial cemetery plot. Customizable coffee and tea to any whim or fancy. I'll be honest, I don't do caffeine because it would utterly obliterate my mental stability but their caffeine free options of teas, lemonade, and blended drinks can be as effective as straight sugar through an IV. Ask for help at the counter, they are SUPER helpful and nice. I LOVE this place more than I can express. Their Horrorcade not only fuels the nightmares of my youth with the traumatic flicks it references, but it also calls unto my competitive arcade-mind. So like coffee, you're addicted to something destroying you...but it's fun! Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention their tasty vegan treats. I know, I know, it doesn't "taste like the real thing" but that's the point, it's offering you an alternative to the regular junk you put in your body to help you eat something tasty that isn't atrocious for your health, so get over it and just TRY IT, you might like it. Your brain and arteries will thank you when you enjoy their yummy rice krispy treats without overloading your already over-caffinated and over-sugared tuchus. Go get Rad. Support local business. Be blessed and be well.
No matter what you get I love this place. Blended vanilla latte is my go to. Nice people and good service
Phenomenal business and exceptional coffee. Employees are genuinely so sweet and I always love coming here.
Super cute place! Come on over if you want to play pin ball as well! Warm and efficient service. I had a berry non caffeinated tea- very refreshing. Friend had a pretzel coffee thing. We wish it came in a larger size.
Small hip coffee shop that was not busy and offered great tasting coffee and service. Added bonus was the old fashioned pin ball machines that were a blast to play.
I absolutely made this my go to coffee spot, I love there Cookies and Scream with a shot of expresso bomb you cant go wrong with their coffee.
Some times work takes me through Covina, and everytime I stop at Rad Coffee. Their coffee is always great and they have extremely friendly and helpful staff. Their horror aesthetic is a delight with a spooky arcade in the back. They always have funky seasonal offerings, which can be fun ... but don't make the same mistake I did when ordering anything with festive foam toppings. It will stain your teeth into oblivion.
Rad Coffee is always a great choice! As a coffee lover, I enjoy trying out small business coffee shops, and Rad’s pumpkin latte did not disappoint, it’s not overly sweet, with a house-made, organic flavor that was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the shop was clean and well-kept. This location is spacious and even has a mini arcade area! The decor is stunning. I’ll definitely be back!
Rad Coffee is a hidden gem that truly stands out in the bustling coffee scene. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff who are passionate about their craft. The interior boasts a modern yet cozy vibe, making it the perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends. Their menu offers a diverse selection of expertly brewed coffees, with standout options like their rich, velvety lattes and meticulously prepared pour-overs. The beans are sourced from reputable regions, ensuring each cup delivers a nuanced flavor profile that delights the palate. If you're into unique flavors, don’t miss their seasonal specials, which showcase creative twists on classic beverages. What sets Rad Coffee apart is not just their high-quality drinks but also their dedication to community and sustainability. The baristas are knowledgeable and happy to recommend options tailored to your preferences. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and size of the drinks. Overall, Rad Coffee provides an exceptional coffee experience, making it my go-to spot for a consistently great cup of coffee.
I was in the area and craving a latte. This spot is excellent and brings out the childhood memories of collecting cards & playing arcades. I just had a latte with whole milk. Perfect temperature and flavor. A great start to the day. The pinball machines are a nice touch & the garbage pail kid style stickers were a nice touch too. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.
This cool location is located in downtown and can be a little challenging to find parking. The location is clean and they had a public bathroom. The ladies working were very nice a extremely helpful. We got a drip with cream, the bone brew with the skull cup, and the peanut butter crunch. The drip was very bold and smooth. The bone brew was a strange temperature but my sister loved and wants to know if she can bring her cup in to use for refills. The peanut butter crunch was good with a very slight hint of peanut flavor the chocolate dominated the peanut butter. We sat outside in the nest pink hand chairs. Lots of people came with their dogs too. This is a great community coffee corner with lots of yummy options. Ten out of ten absolutely recommend. They have pinball in the back too! Lots of cool merch as well. They have a cooler with cold drinks and sweet snacks right next to the cooler. Super cool spot.
We loved this coffee shop visiting family in CA from PA. We found this while strolling through downtown Covina. Loved the atmosphere. Staff were friendly, and the drinks were awesome! We ended up stopping by here 3 days out of our week trip! We also grabbed some ground coffee and 2 mugs for our CA family. Hubby loved the Captain crunch, I had the bride and then a caramel latte. Great spot!!!
I haven't been in this area since 2015 and had to do a Google search for coffee nearest me. This is how I found this cool coffee spot. I ordered the wolfman and I was really happy with my choice, it was really good. I'm glad I didn't walk away disappointed.
First time here, came early, easy parking, no wait, greeted right away, friendly staff, not too helpful with suggesting a drink, but I got the great white, and i don’t think I needed 32oz of coffee 😂 but it’s very good, it was also $10 it’s a little pricey but compared to Starbucks it’s a huge serving for that price. Love the atmosphere, super cool spot. The street and parking can get crazy in this area on the weekends and in the evening, but I would recommend this location and return. Tons of menu options and goodies to purchase.
This place was so cute and the coffee was amazing! There were so many options, I need to go back and try more! I had the Spook Show (yum!) and an Americano with sugar free caramel & heavy cream.
Excellent coffee, great service. Coffee drinks vary from strong af to sugary ridiculousness and a lot in between. I had the #bonesbrew at 745 a.m., and I was on fire all day long. Lots of terrific merchandise and a horror-themed pinball arcade. Photo ops. If you go, tell em Mr. Black sent you. They'll charge you double.
First time visiting this particular city. Service was quick, I tried their monthly special drink suggested by their staff, Not So Mr. Nice Chai, and OMG! It was amazing! Great spot, bigger than their Upland store. Pinball machines were good. We went at night, so there was no waiting in line. Wished they had stores in every city- Love this place!
Popped into this place on a whim, because I love spooky. The staff was SO kind and the drink (Dracula) was delicious. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Spanish Latte is my drink of choice, amazing as always. Dad's does NOT dissappint!

Found out about this place from their Food truck that is on site at the Lakewood Mall Parking lot on Fridays. They are a Horror themed coffee and beverage café located in Covina California. I believe their other location is in Upland California. They also have Horror themed novelties available if you are a Horror fan. Their establishment is very clean and organized with effective staff on duty. Practice social distancing and their customer service is excellent. We were able to order our drinks and pick up in-store at this location. I got their blended drink "Dracula" I remembered it from their truck in Lakewood. Our daughter got the "Cookie monster" & my wife got their "Great White" iced coffee. Everything was good and picked up a coffee mug which was advertised on their IG account. Most likely to return for it is a lot closer than the Upland location.
Pretty good coffee. I go there mainly for the arcade witch is cool to meet different friends if you wanna stay somewhere arround 10pm. Good tasting roasts, nice that all if not most that all their treats are vegan. There services a little inconsistent. I went there about five times to order an ice latte and all those five times, They put sweetener in there with no charge. Then one day the person taking my order said with a straight face that they never put it in there without charging. They have done the same thing in the past when I order shots of espresso. So I always have to order the 2 shot order for $3 in separate cups rather than combining all the shots I want together Because they managed to just lose count of how many shots are supposed to go in one cup. 3 times I have gone home and measured the liquid out only to find that the it's 2 -3 shots of esspresso missing In spite of the fact that it clearly says on the cup of how many espresso I ordered in total. So from now on I always have to order the two shots each in separate cops just so that they don't mess up the order. Also, there have been several occasions that the staff has demonstrated that they don't know the difference between skim milk and two percent. But other than that, their okay.
Nice location for an alt shop coffee spot on the main thoroughfare. Very colorful and filled with sugary concoctions and equal sweet pastries. I feel like all that sugar masks the quality of coffee, but I’m guessing most people coming here for the sweet stuff anyway. They also have a bunch of branded merchandise as well since they have a few of these locations throughout the county. They also have a pretty sweet pinball room though which makes stopping here totally worthwhile! Overall though it’s about about the sweet stuff more than anything else and I don’t want to get diabetes so I’ll have to pass!
Super excited to try this place! The menu looked really good. The staff was nice, and the place is really Rad. I got the lavender latte for my wife and I go the sea salt Carmel for myself. Both drinks were great 😃 The only issue I have is the Cold Brew can I brought home was pretty bad. I'm not sure if it was a bad batch that got canned wrong or what. It's just a really sour tasting Cold Brew. Kind of disappointed 😞

We ordered hot lattes (unflavored), and the lattes were alright There were no tables, but they have arcade games lined up against one of the walls The service felt like it was on the slower side, and the ambiance was mid at best It isn’t a coffee shop we will be returning to
Not a bad place for coffee if you’re in the area. Not going to be a high brow coffee spot, but if you need coffee and don’t want Starbucks it’s a good option. I tried the brown sugar pop tart that was surprisingly great, and had one of their Bones Brew coffee that was espresso and cold brew. Not bad. They have pinball machines to play, and an overall “punk” style vibe. The area is pretty cool, walkable and near a few other stores and things. If you’re nearby check it out.

Rad coffee did not make me feel rad at all. If you want to feel like a crack head without the crack, Order the 21 oz iced Spanish drink and just drink 2/3. If you drink it all, You might end up in the ER Also. Don’t hop in the shower to help relieve symptoms because it’ll do the opposite. It will cause you to sit on the shower floor rocking back and forth and side to side like a crazy lady. My advise. Just sit down or lay at an angle no less than 44° and find a spot on the wall or ceiling to stare at. If you dare get up, you will be 9/10 anxious and you’ll hate your life. If you have enemies. Give them a gift card to Rad. And tell them to order this great Spanish drink. However, taste wise. It was great! 😊
Truly would only visit again for the vibes and pinball machines- my coffee was mostly milk and didn’t taste good, and I got a tart and donut. The tart was filled what seemed like rock candy, just hard and overly sweet- it also was called Fauxy Pebbles so I thought the colorful bits were a cereal, they were just chunks of stale icing. The donut was mid, not the worst I’ve had, but there was a SILICA PACKET IN THE BOX that no one told me about and wasn’t visible through the packaging that I bit on my first bite- I spit it out before puncturing, but only because my partner saw it- I almost finished biting thinking that the donut had a rubbery bottom. The pinball machines were fun to check out and play, but I wouldn’t get food or drinks there again.
Usually I love Rad coffee but today was my worst experience there. I was trying to get a blended coffee and asked for a horrorchata, blended, she asked if I wanted espresso added to it, I was confused and asked if it had coffee and she said it had a coffee base but no. So I opted for another holiday option, red velvet with espresso and white chocolate I believe. I asked if I could have it blended and she said yes, paid $10 for the drink and got it iced. I asked her if I could have it blended since that’s what I drink, I don’t drink iced coffee and she said no it only comes iced…. I wouldn’t have gotten the drink if it wasn’t blended :/ just really disappointed I spent that much on a drink that isn’t even something I like
They recently changed the menu and took cold brew away, not really a fan of iced coffees. Kind of miss their specialty drinks too cause this new menu is disappointing for me at least.
So I usually go on Saturday to pick up my coffee. For the most part, the coffee is delicious. But unfortunately, on January 3, 2026. About 1 PM. I ordered four different coffees. And one of them was shot of espresso white mocha latte iced oat milk. With caramel! There is no way any of It was 1/oat milk 2/ where’s the espresso shot 3/ caramel- It tasted like watered down milk with a slight taste of coffee. I don’t get it. Did they put all the coffee and everything else and the other ones that I bought or what? Don’t know if someone was near there or training or what but it was horrible. By the time I noticed. I was already on the freeway heading back to Brea. I’ve called a couple times but no one answers so that that’s why I’m leaving my review.

Their coffee is terrible and the specialty drinks taste like pure sugar and food coloring. Not sure how all three stores still have 4.7 stars with all the negative reviews
