Chef John is so hospitable by arranging our booking. All staff are so friendly. The ambiance is not much crowded as the usual weekends. Chicharon Bulaklak reminds me of my father.
We have just went Noypitz to have a Filipino cuisine we love their foods clean it has a karaoke stage bar reasonable price great customer service you will enjoy & have tasty filipino foods ask for Jay nice guy tell him Rey recommended u & family. Happy Eating everyone.
I’ve been to a lot of Filipino restaurant and this place is the best. Customer service is great they even sang a happy birthday to my mom during the band practice. Kare- kare, pansit and tufo with pork are really good very authentic. Definitely going back there and I would recommend this if you’re going in a group.
Came here for a large party of 14 people at 5:00 p.m. on Friday night. Very nice atmosphere, light, cheery bright, modern and clean environment. The staff were all very attentive and gave really great service! I was surprised at how authentic the food was. And everything we ordered was delicious. The place started to get more packed by 7:00 p.m. People all seemed to really be enjoying their food. Free parking and easy access to restaurant. Great location with movie theater and other restaurant and shops nearby. Will definitely be back.
Good place to eat, drink beer, sing karaoke, dance, listen to band music. Good affordable buffet Sunday brunch with jazz band. Cons: Karaoke music gets really too loud.
I always enjoyed going to this place with friends. They serve authentic Filipino meals with a good mix of street food and we'll known pinoy dishes. Its extra special during nights when they have bands playing, reminds me of those good old days in Philippines.
8/1/2025 = 5 Star = i give all star coz we never had any issue , food are good , server are awesome and polite, when we visit it's a Karaoke Night , we can try to come back again .
People are very nice here and waiter are quick and polite
Great place to listen to live bands and eat Filipino dishes. Free parking. Walk-ins are welcome but reservation for big groups are required. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Great place to enjoy any time any moment any thing you are Celebrating with your friends and Family's come and support your local business for a better communities ....... Blessings 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Lots of fun and good was delish! We came to celebrate 🎉 multiple birthdays with a big group and they even sang Happy birthday to my mom and son. Try the calamansi margarita during happy hour. We had a blast!
Had a great time. Just me and the significant other. Place seems better for groups but we were still well served and attended to. As for food, we ordered only pulitan crispy pasta, it was generous sized, and well cooked. Drinks were decent. The karaoke night tonight was A LOT of fun, just be open to hearing 90% Tagalog, and Tagalog music. I am cool with it, and picked up on most jokes. The VJ tonight was really a very talented singer who entertained the guests as well as his associate. Joseph and King. Great voices, REALLY GREAT. We will be back!

Place to take your visitors, family, loved ones. Food is freshly prepared and expected for pinoy dishes. Ambient is great and can get loud during times with live bands.
Came here for a birthday party on the weekend. They are located in the Lakes by the movie theater. The place is pretty big, spacious, and clean. The staff do wear masks, but during the party, the tables were not set up for social distancing. The food was served buffet style and the food was good. I any say too much about the food per dish (honestly I don't know the names) but they were all delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for your filipino food craving
First time trying this Filipino Bar and Bistro and I must say, great food and good value. Heard they have salsa dancing on Thursdays and other fun events on weekends, must check it out next week. Food tastes authentic and beautifully presented. Prices are very reasonable for the portions they give. A great find!
We took my mom here today for her birthday. The ambiance was nice and welcoming. Staff was friendly. Parking was across the street, but it wasn't a far walk. The food was a bit overpriced, but I guess that's expected when dining at an authentic restaurant, so I'm not complaining. The food could have been better though. The crispy pata was overcooked and dry, the Kare Kare was a bit too "peanuty" for my liking, the gulaman tasted like we were drinking straight syrup and we could barely drink the jelly through the straw because they were too thick and frozen. The vegetable lumpia, pancit canton, and chicken inasal were tasty. Overall...I'd come here again, but it honestly wouldn't be my first choice for Filipino dining.
Dining at this restaurant at lunchtime on a weekend was a pleasant experience. There were no crowds, service was fairly quick and efficient. Our waitress was very personable and helpful in describing the restaurant's most popular offerings. Our little family decided on fishballs for appetizers, the Noypitz platter as the main course, with beef sinigang to round things up. The fishballs were not the fishballs of my youth and they were served with sweet chili sauce which was a point against the dish. The platter items were ok too. The pancit was tasty, the lumpia tiny and slightly anemic in color, the calamari wasn't crunchy enough. I think the fried chicken quarter was supposed to be Max's inspired and it was decent. My hubby liked the crispy Pata which had crunchy-enough skin. For dessert we had the halohalo and a slice of sans rival. The cake was pretty to look at and hit the spot, but we've had better. The merengue layers were too dry and crumbly (I'm a decent cook and baker). Hubby liked the halohalo despite it having candied beans (he's used to Cebu style halohalo, which he says has no beans and has more fruits). There's a lot of other things on the menu that we would like to try on another visit. I will update my review at that time. But for the location, ambiance and service, Noypitz is a place you can proudly take non-Filipino friends to for an introduction to our cuisine. I hear the place pops at night when the band plays. Maybe do it then to showcase our food and our karaoke skills.
We love the sizzling sisig, kare kare, and crispy binagoongan. The flavors are rich and prominent- perfect to accompany rice. Though, their garlic rice is very inconsistent, so try your luck. We also tried the goat stew which had really tender meat. The streetfood plater was nicely presented and great as an introduction to types of skewers. As for dessert, the halo halo was okay, but big enough for 2-3 to share. Everytime we've visited, the service was great. No complaints!
Went there for a little concert. The place was fully packed. Seating arrangements were a little unexpected one. I would like to see this place on normal days. My family had fun.

We visited with friends and had a good time. The food is good and proceed reasonably considering it's a nicer restaurant. I will say be careful and double check the bill, we found several items added that were never served it's easier to mistake that when you have a group and everyone is ordering. But since other people told us they had the same issue I have to wonder.... Entertainment is good but try to sit closer to the stage area and be prepared they squeeze the chairs together and it will be tight at the table!
Music is waaaay too loud for the space. Couldn't even hear the person sitting next to me. It wasn't a problem in the past but with new takeover or merging the music is too much. Same quality food items but I'll prolly order food to-go or sit outside
Food is great and the place is good. The girl server is very rude. My husband heard her talking behind my back. " she's free to leave" If it's not because of my friend playing that night.i will leave together with all my friends with me.
Noypitz is a Filipino Bar and Grill restaurant with live band music. They’re located at a large plaza in WestCovina. It’s inside was huge and very spacious with classy vibe and good ambiance. They offer a wide variety traditional Filipino food. We came here with friends and ordered some Filipino food. Service was mildly slow. Staff were very warm, nice and professional. Prices were fair and matched the food portions. Plenty of Parking space at the garage. Overall, it’s a beautiful bar and restaurant. I will definitely come back to experience their live band music.
Service rant: You really have to be familiar with Filipinos in American hospitality to give a lot of buffering to the service quality. Literally nobody in the restaurant at 8:30 pm on a Thursday night. Might be because of the location or maybe an indicator of neighborhood and things we weren't aware of. Even the local cafe 86 was already closed. Only server on the floor was awkward, allowed us to mess with audio equipment and barely checked in on us to the point where we could've probably just walked out after our meal and he wouldn't bother getting off his chair because he was on a phone call the whole time. Food review: Portions for the price were passable but the flavor made up for it. The fact that the food came out minutes behind each other was awkward but they all were well presented. Bangus sisig was sizzling and piled high on top of the skin to give a good counter balance of crispy skin and flavor bombed meat. It didn't come with an egg but excusable since the flavor was good. Processed calamansi packet though was not. Give me a lime over a random packet please or at the very least have it in a container. Bistek had a very acidic taste to it but while it was hot was tender and the contrasting color of the raw red onion was a good touch. Chicken skewers for $20 seems egregious discussion when there are only 5 of them but again the sweet and salty flavor and very tender protein brought an arguable pass. OVERALL COMMENTS Being the only customers for the night and coming in hungry for Filipino food probably made the meal better than it's priced out to be. Over $80 for 3 dishes might not have been a big deal if the service was better but that wasn't the case this visit. We'll be on the lookout for more Filipino food outside of Amar and Azusa but for a place that's open past 9pm on a weekday this is the price you pay for. Bad service but nostalgic food. PSA don't expect a typical US dining experience and be vigilant about making sure your server knows you need refills on your sink water. If you expect slow/non-existent service but food that hits classic flavors this is the spot.

Wow. My wife and I have not been here for a while so we decided to eat here before we saw a movie. We will not do that again. We were the only two in the place and actually thought it was closed when we first walked in. We ordered a total of three dishes with two Modelos and ended up with a bill over $100 before tip. As foodies, we normally would not have worried about the cost, but the food was not as good as it used to be when we last visited. We ordered pancit at the same time we ordered the dishes but almost finished the other two dishes before we finally received it. It also had more veggies than proteins and noodles. We ordered the Bistek Tagalog (received very salty), Bangus Sisog (surprisingly not a lot of flavor) and the Noypitz Pancit. SURPRISE NOTE: All of these dishes cost less on the menu on the website compared to what we were charged. SMH…
The vibe and entertainment is great, complete with a live band on some nights and disco lights, as well as the food tasting great but the women's bathrooms was just atrocious. It was messy, the floor was sticky, and absolutely no maintenance or cleaning looked like was done on it for the duration of the day. Only one stall was working out of three and that stall had no toilet paper despite us telling the staff countless times.
5 of us went there yesterday afternoon. Although the food was good, the service was terrible. We were only 1 of 3 tables of customers, but it took forever for anyone to come take our order, it took forever to get our food, and when we were done eating, nobody checked on us for about 30 minutes. I finally had to get up and go ask someone for the check and to-go boxes. Another group of 4 arrived after we did, but they got their food way earlier than us. Will never go back here again.
The all you can eat lobster is not right. The lady said only half of the lobster per person so they can accommodate all the people. They should change their advertisement regarding the unlimited lobster.

First time here was not a very good experience to start off they really didnt help us we were a group of six and only gave us 2 menus when we asked for more the lady said that's all they had. After we wanted to order a tower of beer and they said they only had 2 and they were occupied at the moment. Then another group of Asian people order a tower as well and the waiter got them one. We got mad because we felt like second class citizens everyone in that bar was Asian and we're Hispanics they gave us very bad service after they brought our food they gave us our chicken wings still frozen on the inside after we told the lady she got bothered and brought us another set of wings really crispy and burnt. Last time we will come to this place.
The biggest crux of this place is its poor customer service. On a very slow day, we weren’t greeted. We weren’t given menus. We had to ask for our server to take order after waiting an ample amount of time. I could go on and on.
Firstly... As someone who has worked in the restauraunt industry, so I understand circumstances surrounding service may vary depending on the business of the establishment. Woth that said, during my visit it was not my ANY means busy and yet: 1. The tables was not turned over properly: It was given a quick & careless wipe down with food remnants still stuck between the seat cushions of the booth we were seated in 2. Took our waiter all of 10 mins to get to our table to take our drink order & once the food landed we NEVER saw our waiter again. We were checked on ONCE (literally, not figuratively) & i asked for some chile sauce, waited 15 minutes & then had to ask someone else... 3. Had to wave someone down to get the check & im NOT exaggerating. NO ONE made eye contact when they passed the table, NO refilling waters, NO checking in... Just a quick stride past the table. 4. Lastly, my boyfriend spilled his water (while waving to get a waiter's attention) & no one came over with any kind of assistance even though a busser, waiter, & hostess was near by & even after that we STILL had to track someone down to take our form of payment. Food portions were large, pricing was great, the food was pretty good but the customer service was ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS, felt like we were being ignored like the plague & made a very SIMPLE lunch an absolute stress fest. Management is oblivious, spent more time taking pictures of table settings for the MANY empty tables in the establishment, than actually improving the dining experience for the customers present.
Drove all the way from Riverside craving for Filipino food. Restaurant hours says closes at 10pm. Arrived at the restaurant at 830 to only be told that they were already closed. Won’t waste my time and money on this place ever.
Whatever you do, do NOT get take out from this place. Noypitz more like NO SERVICE take out... we had to wait a nice 1hour 30 just to get a take out order of 3 orders which we ordered at 11 in a no very busy Sunday morning and arriving at 11:45. At that time period three full on families got a seat and got their meals with one out of the three already leaving. So much for time management. Adding insult to injury the boxes that they take out orders in are in cheap PAPER cut out boxes having almost one of our soupy meals leak out. Specifically out order was fried fish, 8 blytantly FROZEN unflavored garlic shrimp and Kare kare ON ALUMINUM FOIL. the food proportion was that of equal to a ration in the world war 1 trenches. Although this is my first time at this place I’m giving it a 1/5 for poor customer service and restaurant management... they should spend more time hiring a manager and employees WHO ARENT INCOMPETANT to do their work rather than wasting it on making their place look good. Great and honest thing they didn’t advertise that they served fresh...
Bad over priced food. Went for the sunday brunch buffet the food selection was small and was too salty. The lobster which was suppose to be the big draw came out slowly and was extremely chewy. Service was horrible and everything was self served. Just know at the end theres an 18% service charge for larger parties which make sense but they also want a tip at the end. The manager says the service 18% goes straight to the restaurant and not the server. Wouldn't go here again even if it was free
I really wanted to like this place, but the service is pretty terrible. After ordering, we waited 45 minutes to only to be served 2 of our 5 dishes in an empty restaurant on Sunday. Also, they don't do buffet anymore, but their banner outside says they do. There was a male waiter there who gave us attitude when we asked the rest of our food to be boxed up. The pancit we did get tasted ok, lots of imitation crab meat and some baby shrimp, but nothing worth waiting that long for. The lumpia was okay, too. The interior needs work and some cleaning.
Food terrible. Music Ok. If you're going there for the band, make sure you eat before you get there! The service is terrible like everybody's been mentioning. I can't believe it's still open. The best part is when it was time to leave & we didn't leave a tip. Avoid Avoid Avoid!
The buffet on Sunday is not worth the money. They had pasta that was dried up. The lobster wasn't even cleaned. For two people wife had a margarita, they put to much lemon juice. The so called dessert bar had nothing. The potatoes they served was cold. Actually tasted like box potatoes. The people are awesomen. But all together thus place sucked. Hometown buffet is better
Nice Filipino bar restaurant, with a good selection of alcoholic beverages and a stage where at night there's band or individual who sings. I think there's also some dancing. Food was great, somehow you're going to miss home. They do cater to events. Update: Bad service. Came in for dinner, stood by the counter near the entrance for more than 15 minutes, waiting for someone to seat us in. Nobody did even when there’s 2 people who I know had seen us. Left frustrated, never coming back.
Service sucks here. We waited almost an hour for our food to come to the table. They serve the food individually. By the time we were done with one dish, they bring another dish to the table. It seems like there is only one chef and one serve. Don’t come here if you are hungry because you will be waiting for an hour and half for your food to come.
Soda can cost $10 plus he asked for $1 tip. I thought that’s so ridiculously too much for a can of coke. Entertainment is the worst, the band can’t sing. There’s a lot of Filipino is as good or better than this place.
Terrible service, insensitive staff, waited for an hour 30 mins; where we had to go up to the staff ourself asking if we could order. zero drinks were given - not even water. Waiters walked past us with zero acknowledgement. Gerry’s grill is 10x better, save yourself the frustration.
I ordered a lechon de leche for Christmas. I was promised 4:30pm pickup at west covina. 40 mins later were still waiting. Finally got it after 2 hrs later. The lechon skin is not crunchy, the meat is dry, the ribs are so so, seems like they forgot to put salt on it. I’m sorry to say but this lechon is the worst one I ever had.
They sat my party of eleven in such a crammed corner and told us they were saving the other tables. No one is sitting there and my aunt with a cane had to climb the stairs. Such bad customer service with one pitcher of water between all of us. I ordered a Diet Coke and it never came. It’s better to just cook at home. Update: We are still crammed to one table and these tables they told us we cannot take are still empty. Smh! Horrible, I had to call the restaurant to get more water for our table too.
The food server forgot to bring the Fish that we ordered and wants us to take it TO-GO and pay for it after we finished eating. It was their mistake for not double checking customers order on their computer screen. Food is good anyway.

1 and half hour , they have NOT taken our orders . NO water … FYI none of the staff noticed us that we have nothing on the table. The only way we got our order is we have to approach the cashier and ask do we have to order here? Very poor SERVICE. Dining staff needs a lot of TRAINING.
I’m really sorry, but I don’t have any photos to share. If you're thinking of going, here’s how truly disappointed I am: A buffet should be free and easy, but instead, it felt like I was being watched the entire time. (It honestly made me feel like a thief, like I hadn’t paid and had no freedom at all.) The lobster is severely limited—only half a lobster per round—and there are staff watching you as you take it. The regular shrimp is so mushy mushy, it doesn't even taste like shrimp. It feels more like something else entirely. The service was terrible, but I still gave a $10 tip. (I honestly tried to be polite!) In summary, this is a buffet with no freedom, poor service, and customers treated like criminals. I’m honestly so disappointed.
When we tried to reserve a table, their hours were quite off. We also had to go to the restaurant in person because when we called, the lady who picked up didn't care to make the reservation. She claimed that she'd send us the menu but never did and when she picked up the phone, she sounded like she just woke up at 2pm. At the time when we went in person, the place was hot. I don't think they keep their ac turned on throughout the day. They also didn't seem to have a menu for their boodle fight on-hand. They had to send it to us through text. It was very disappointing and confusing.
Went to give this place a chance to try out the food and see if it was a decent spot for a venue. First off there is no indication on if they are open, google says the place “may be open”. Second upon arrival we go in the place looks like it is set up for like a banquet or party, I assume it was for a band that was performing that night. Although we went in and there was no host, we had to ask other patrons on how the wait was and the food. They said the wait was a bit and the other patrons didn’t seem friendly or helpful. Also maybe only a handful of people were really there, not really a popular dinner spot. We gave it about 15 minutes, still no host, the photographer was able to take like photos of 2-3 people of band. First impression of this place, not great. And for a Filipino restaurant, supposedly welcoming, not much. Maybe if they get better staffing and maybe better ambiance I’ll give it a chance. But I won’t be back anytime soon.
