My girlfriend and I came here for an impromptu girls night and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Everyone was so friendly the minute we walked in and they sat us at a table with no reservation. The only thing better than the food was our server Enrique. He went above and beyond to provide us with an unforgettable evening. Highly recommend the catch roll and the snapper!

My partner brought me here as a surprise dinner and it was beyond amazing 😍 The food was definitely QUALITY!!! I've never had raw sashimi that left me wanting more 😫 The portions make look small but they were perfect because by the end of dessert we were STUFFED 😭 The only complaints I have were due to the fact that he had a reservation for us but we still waiting 20 min, the high volume of this place and the tables being very near towards other tables. I made reservations for girlfriend’s birthday at Catch LA and they did not disappoint. Loved that they had a separate menu for a vegan/vegetarian diet that included quite a few options for her. The food was 10/10, the service provided by the staff was a 10/10. From beginning to the end. The staff made her birthday extra special, I highly recommend treating yourself and significant other to an evening here. Will be back, thank you!
Our son, a longtime LA resident and foodie, made reservations for my husband and I to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary here. I could not imagine the experience we would share. From being greeted with champagne, to the hospitality of all the staff, to the wonderful service of McNeil, we felt special. We ordered the baby gem caesar salad, crispy cauliflower, baked king crab hand rolls, herb-roasted branzino and miso sea bass. Without exception, each dish was prepared to perfection, served piping hot, and consumed with enthusiasm. We finished with the donut wheel that included a little chocolate with a sweet message. It’s that attention to detail that will make me recommend Catch again and again. Thank you.
Catch LA was a restaurant I’d wanted to experience for nearly 10 years, and I finally made it happen. It lived up to every expectation I had built up in my head. I went for a solo dinner, and from the atmosphere to the waitstaff to the food, everything was absolutely incredible. I started with the Catch Roll and the Surf & Turf Roll, followed by the Wagyu dumplings, and finished with the New York strip. I also ordered a strawberry spritz, which was absolutely massive and paired perfectly with the meal. I wanted dessert, but I honestly couldn’t move afterward. The meal ended up being a couple hundred dollars, but you truly get what you pay for — incredible food paired with an unforgettable environment. Whether you’re going solo, out with friends, or hosting a business dinner, this is the place to go. The noise level is moderate, so expect some energy and conversation in the room, but the food makes it more than worth it.
Catch on Melrose was a fantastic experience! The rooftop ambiance is absolutely stunning—super chic and the perfect vibe. The service was so warm and genuinely attentive. The food was exceptional. We loved the addictive Crispy Shrimp and the classic Caesar. The Parmesan Truffle Fries were a decadent must-have. My Center-Cut Filet with Kabayaki sauce was cooked perfectly and was unbelievably tender. The Miso Glazed Sea Bass was a highlight, too—melt-in-your-mouth buttery with that perfect sweet glaze. Honestly, a wonderful blend of atmosphere, top-notch service, and seriously delicious food.
Catch is a premier restaurant in LA serving up fresh seafood and meats on a rooftop overlooking West Hollywood. My wife and I had our Anniversary dinner here and it certainly lived up to the hype and expectations. What an amazing experience! Before entering the downstairs lobby, we were greeted by a gentleman downstairs who accompanied us in the elevator and showed us to the check in. Upon check in, if your table is not ready, you are guided to the bar to order a cocktail. -Spicy Margarita cocktail was solid. -Ribeye was precut, tender and cooked to my exact tastes. -Branzino was not the best I had. It was good soft, white meat on top of a risotto. -Truffle fries were crispy and truffly. - Crispy shrimp absolutely delicious, Maybe best dynamite shrimp I have eaten. Perfectly cooked, with amazing crisp. - Crudo great appetizer to start dinner. Fresh , light and acidic. Presentation was off the charts! Sushi roll - filled to the brim with goodness. Service was wonderful. Atmosphere, aesthetic, decor and trim were top notch. Great design overall. The outdoor space is simply amazing on the rooftop. Definitely transports you to a place that just makes you feel good. Perfect place to eat dinner, and the amber lighting, sets the mood for a romantic meal. My only complaint was the music. It was too loud ( I was next to the speakers), and the playlist was all over the place. Stick to one genre as it affected the overall mood of the restaurant. Catch is top notch and I was impressed! I look forward to my next experience here. I will be back.

What an experience -- from Layla the host, to Natalie & Rey the bartenders, to Jeffrey, Antonio, Joshua, Rey of the staff & Jeremy of the kitchen... what a memorable dinner. Ambiance, service, quality of food, just 10/10. What an explosion of flavors, coupled w/ fantastic service & attentive staff that you can tell feel fulfilled by their mission. I did some research & saw that Adrian Vela is the corporate executive chef, recently opened the Catch in scottsdale. I've been following Adrians' career since Napa Valley Grille -- the guy is the real deal. I would come back in a heart beat.
I had a warm welcome at the restaurant from the beginning until the end of my stay. Brandon was my server that evening and was very nice and available to guide me through the menu.
Great atmosphere great food and great service. The sadhimi, the pepper and the pistachio cheesecake were amazingly good and the rest food were also very delicious. The coffee was a bit too light would be my only complaint.

Catch LA is a fantastic restaurant. The service from the moment I walked in was so welcoming. I waited by the bar for my friend to arrive, had some tea, and the bartender there on that Sunday afternoon was wonderful, the waiters, even the ones that weren't attending to our area were friendly, fun, and conversational. They all truly set the tone for the great atmosphere and experience. I really loved that! Now on the to food!! YUM YUM YUM, from the first to the very last bite! I will definitely be returning to try their desserts especially. They looked delicious. We were too full to get dessert this time around.🤗 ps. They have a beautiful space there as well for events, like showers, special occasion gatherings, or networking events.
You know those super trendy places with a strong name where you walk in expecting a beautiful atmosphere but not necessarily amazing food? Well… Catch completely surprised me. Every single dish was on point: 🥩 The steak — perfectly seared, juicy, and flavorful. 🍝 The pasta — creamy, balanced, and rich. 🍣 The rolls — delicate and fresh. 🍧 And the dessert? An absolute visual and flavorful showstopper. On top of that, the ambiance was sexy and sophisticated with its candlelit glow, and the service was attentive and smooth. One of those rare places where the hype actually delivers. Definitely a place to return — for both the experience and the flavors.
I came here for my birthday dinner and wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve heard mixed reviews about this place. Thankfully my experience was great. Spencer was an incredible server. The whole staff was great! I felt welcomed right when I walked in. The food was great as well. I’ve heard mixed reviews about it but food is subjective. I enjoyed everything I ordered. They even gave me a free salmon tartar. Not sure why because I didn’t mention that it was my birthday until after they brought it out. So that was excellent service. My only con is that it’s pretty loud. Even on a Monday night. But other than that it was a great dining experience and I would definitely come back if I’m in LA.

Brought my significant other and friends here, and everyone enjoyed it. We celebrated a birthday and our waiter was amazing. We did have a tiny issue of water leaking on us due to the rain, but it didn’t really bother us too much. We informed the waiter just incase another party sits there after us. We went to Catch LA for a friend’s birthday, and overall it was a beautiful experience. I made a reservation for 6:45pm on a Saturday night, and we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated, which was pretty good considering how busy it was. The atmosphere is stunning definitely one of those places that feels special the moment you walk in. Our waiter, Dillon, and the rest of the staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. The service really stood out. As for the food, the TRUFFLE SASHIMI was the absolute highlight 100000/10, a must-try. I also ordered the MADAI CRUDO, which was good, but not as memorable. The HERB ROASTED BRANZINO was the star of the show perfectly seasoned and cooked. The salmon and miso sea bass were just okay in comparison. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the price. We spent over $500 (closer to $600 with tip), and while the food and experience were good, I can’t say they fully justified the price tag. It’s definitely a great spot for a special occasion, but be prepared you're mostly paying for the ambiance and vibe. Edit to add- We told them it was a friend’s birthday and they sent out the smash cake. The cake was okay and they did charge us for it.

I went to Catch LA with my group to celebrate a birthday. The place was very lively but also really noisy, The food was delicious — the steak was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh and tasty. Service was just okay, not super attentive but not bad either. Overall, it’s a fun spot with great food, especially for special occasions, but be prepared for the loud atmosphere.
Had a fun dinner here! It’s definitely on the louder side, but I actually enjoy that energetic, upscale vibe. The décor is stunning, and the service was attentive. The food was delicious, my favorites were the sushi roll, French fries, branzino, and the “Hit Me” dessert. Just note that the portions are on the smaller side. Valet parking is $20, which is pretty standard for LA, but still a bit disappointing.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Despite noting the birthday, there was no acknowledgment at all. No greeting, no dessert, nothing. For a milestone celebration, that lack of care really stood out. The table we were seated at was terrible and uncomfortable, which set the tone right away. We were also told that the plates were “shareable,” which was completely misleading. The portions are extremely small and absolutely not meant for sharing. For the price, the portion sizes were honestly shocking. The food itself was overpriced and underwhelming, and the service was poor throughout the night. Slow, inattentive, and lacking any sense of hospitality. This was meant to be a special evening, and instead it was frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant for celebrations or for anyone expecting value, good service, or a thoughtful dining experience.
