Came here for the first time and everyone was so nice and pleasant. Food was delicious and drinks were great.

I got to say this was not only some delicious food, but the service was the best I’ve had in years. The waiter was excellent, everyone was very friendly, and I enjoyed everything I got. Took the time to compliment the waiter on his job and he told me he wasn’t at his best that night which baffled me honestly. It was my first time and absolutely not my last. Thank you for a great time!

We went with a group of 7. The food was delicious. The atmosphere fine. Great pix on the wall. Our server was very good. I took off a star bc it took so long to refill our waters. Would definitely go back.

We have been coming here for a very looong time. I've noticed some changes to the original menu. We normally order the sweet potatoes tacos, which now have mushrooms. We'd rather have the old version. Also, they are getting rid of the fried yuca, which we love and order every time we come. Please don't touch the fried yuca. Thank you!

One of the best margaritas (blood orange) and salads I've ever had. The shrimp special was outstanding as well - so flavorful. Our server Adonai made a great recommendation. I look forward to going back and trying more menu options and hope they can branch out to the east end of LI!

An excellent and delicious dining experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and well as interactive with the diners. The Guacamole was fresh and prepared when it is ordered. For my main course, I had the Sonora Ribs which when served, the presentation looked like a work of art. They were fresh, moist and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want an excellent meal and happily give it 5 stars.

This place is delicious! We stumbled upon it while going to the outlets and this place did not disappoint!! Is a quaint restaurant, decorated beautifully! So Instagram worthy! The service was really nice, Jose took care of us and he was great! Recommendations were on point. We had the guacamole and shrimp empanadas as starters both delicious! We had the Filete de Res and Enchiladas mixtas, the filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the enchiladas had an amazing flavor! The whole experience a 10 out of 10! I highly recommended (worth noting we came all the way from Stamford CT)

Besito is consistently on point with their food, drinks and staff. Whether you come in for brunch or dinner their food is delicious. We love the margaritas and sangria - I always ask for a spicy margarita which they deliver on! The decor is so lovely - as many times as we've been there I still admire it. During the week you don't tend to need a reservation which is convenient. Some of our favorite meals are the iron skillet tacos and the enchiladas. Plantains are also delicious and you cannot leave without having the churros!

All of the food was amazing and great drinks. The mango margarita was very good. The Sonoma ribs are a must, plus we had the Mexican corn and plantains which were great. We had steak quesadillas which were really great too.

Getting out as Covid becomes vaccinated is a delight when the food is well prepared and well served. Our palates were made happy and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

We had the guacamole, mixtos and carne asada iron skillet tacos, carne asada quesadilla, shrimp jalisco and sonora ribs. Everything was fresh, tasty, seasoned beautifully, artfully presented and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we had a great time!

Might be our new favorite restaurant in the Babylon area. Attentive staff and lots of little extras that made the meal special. And everything was delicious: guacamole, pork tacos, chilaquiles, enchiladas suizas...mmmm. Sunday brunch until 3 or so with 2-for-1 specialty drinks.

If you're looking for dinner, drinks, or brunch, stop looking. Besito is AMAZING. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, the food is delicious, and the prices are worth what you're getting, in my opinion. I would absolutely recommend Besito to everyone, and I will most definitely be back. Now I just have to find a place for my growing Mexican worry doll collection.

Food was authentic delicious and spicy lol. Staff was super friendly. Outside seating for summer and valet parking. Reservations only, that's how popular it is. Small but grande....will be back again!

Had a great lunch today with amazing blood orange margaritas! Kelly was such a great waitress she was so attentive and checked in on us often. Def a great spot.

The staff was so nice, the manager Edna? (6/7 Night), She was great and took super great care of us over the smallest issue which really we wouldn’t have said anything. The staff went out of their way to make sure we have a 5 Star time, so I had to give them a real review!

What an amazing place and vibe. Just be careful with the fundido skillet, it is super hot and they don't cover the handle, so you can get easily distracted and burn yourself like I did. Lol. In all fairness they warn you it's hot. Fundido.. delicious. We can't wait to go back. Cocktails were amazing.

Besito in West Islip is a true gem. We had a terrific lunch featuring their incredible guacamole, savory enchiladas, and perfectly sweet plantains. Each dish was packed with flavor and prepared beautifully. The food was absolutely delicious and made for a memorable dining experience.

One of my favorite restaurants! They have a lot of gluten free options and the food is consistently delicious! Great ambiance and cocktails too.

Really great experience. The food was excellent and the service made the whole meal even better. Our server was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care that we were enjoying everything. The grilled octopus was a standout. It was tender with a nice char and the sauce had just enough spice to balance it. The tacos were packed with flavor and topped with fresh ingredients that gave them a great bite. The cheesy skillet dish with roasted corn was rich and really satisfying, especially with the sauces on the side. Everything looked beautiful when it came out and tasted just as good. You could tell the kitchen puts thought into both the flavors and presentation. What really stood out though was the service. The staff was warm, helpful, and made the whole meal feel relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a place I would come back to.

The busser Jefferson, always makes us feel so welcome and gives great food recommendations. Lenis is amazing and incredibly friendly; even when we’re not seated in his section, he always recognizes us and makes a point to say hello. The drinks and food are always excellent and consistent, the service is outstanding, and we love coming back!

The most delicious authentic food! I go every year for my birthday 🎂 use OpenTable app and there's never a wait for a table. They offer the best tortilla soup and yummy margaritas 💜 the restaurant does get quite dark in the evening, for ambiance. And the tables are pretty close to each other (when busy, your neighbor will hear your conversation). We like to go early, before the crowd picks up. The service is always super attentive. Always friendly! You get what you pay for, and completely worth it.

My girlfriend and I frequent Besito in West Islip. Although, all locations are fantastic. I wish there was one further east! Sign me up for besito west hampton edition 👌 We would go there often! We went on Halloween and it was a slow night—their staff really shined. Our waiter was great and very helpful. And Jefferson (one of the bussers) always makes us feel welcome. My gf and I have been coming consistently for 3 years and Jefferson always says hi. We appreciate it! The new mahi pastor is my favorite. I would recommend to anyone that likes sweet with a kick. Will be back for more 💯

This was our second visit to Besito. Our first was the one in huntington station. Food and service are great. Probably one of the top 5 Mexican restaurents around the island. Only difference between the Islip and Huntington is Islip is a bit smaller than Huntington. Noise level was a bit higher Same menu and good food in either.

The food was excellent overall. The nachos were served hot and fresh, the skirt steak was tender and flavorful, and the salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious. While I didn't particularly enjoy the pomegranate vinaigrette, everything else was outstanding. The only real letdown was the fried ice cream—I was expecting a fresh, hot exterior with a cold center, but it tasted more like it had been pre-made and was cold throughout.

A delightful restaurant. We were seated exactly on time with a reservation. Wonderful ambiance, low music volume, great for conversations. Multiple rooms break the space so it’s cozier and easier to hear conversations. Fish tacos (from the appetizer section) were superb. So were the baby back ribs. Carne asada tacos and carne asada quesadillas were also spot on and loved at our table. The only dish I was confused about was the fried plantains, I was expecting these to be in the form of homemade chips. Would absolutely love to return here! I think I like this location more than their Roslyn location.

The service was great, and despite how packed it was everything came out quickly, but most importantly the quality was out of this world. I would recommend booking a reservation if you plan to come on a weekend, it’s a very popular spot!

Everything on the menu is outstanding including the customer service. The Mango Margarita was refreshing because I asked that it be made with minimal sugar. The Sonora Ribs were so tender that it melted in my mouth. The Tres Leches cake was fabulously good. TIP: Add some salsa sauce to the table-side Guacamole for a flavor boost.

5 stars all the way! I traveled out of state to see a friend and she told me how amazing the blood orange margarita is here. I am vegan, and I was super pleased that I found delicious vegan options. The restaurant is so beautiful! The service is amazing. A number of times we were checked on to ask if we were pleased with everything, or if we needed anything by not only our server, but others was a sign of great customer service. I will definitely visit here again the next time I am in the area.

First time here. Seems like a very popular restaurant as it was pretty packed when we came in. Glad we had a reservation. Staff was very friendly but from what I've heard this a smaller location compares to the others. And you could kind of tell since the tables were pretty close together. Appetizers and entrees were very good. Overall would recommend this place but I do think the food is a little bit pricey. We split our check 5 ways and it was still over $50/person just for 1 drink, entree, and splitting the appetizer. Also the lighting is very dim as well which creates a vibe but it seemed a little bit dark. Food was delicious though.

Service is AMAZING. DRINKS are amazing. Food is OK. Birria Tacos were good, balanced. I had special enchiladas of lamb with molé ... they were amazing. I love molé and they were stuffed with meat. My husband had mixto taco platter and there was way too much cheese and the grilled chicken was dry(like reheated) and came with cold cactus salad (he should have asked for a different side because he didn't like it, but it was good. My other guest had a shrimp quesadilla, but it was a lot of onions and peppers that I called the waitress over because we thought it was a vegetable one. The sweet plantains, maduros, were not cooked all the way and were hard on the inside. Look wise, it's great. Great for drinks and apps, but we probably won't be eating meal here again.

The food is great, our waitress was wonderful. Drinks were okay, too sweet for me but that’s a personal preference. Holding back from 5 stars because there is no need to pack people on top of each other the way they do. Service was forced to lean into our table to take orders or drop food for those next to us. Not a huge deal but they could do with 3-4 less tables squeezed together.

Writing a review to shout out Waiter Kerem! His attentiveness to service was amazing. He gave great food recommendations and when one of the appetizers was too spicy for my liking, he replaced it immediately. His kindness and professionalism definitely did not go unnoticed

We went for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner. The food was amazing! And they even gave us these little figurines at the end of the dinner to take hime with (aren’t they so cute?!). The only thing that we didn’t like was at the beginning one of the waiter who seated us said our reservation is only good for 1.5 hours. We felt kind of rushed even though there was well enough time to finish. But had we gotten dessert or an appetizer, then I do not think 1.5hrs is enough. Anyways, that’s just a small detail. The food and atmosphere are sooooo good so I would not pass on this place just because of the service.

Beautiful spot for dinner either with family or a date night. I will say that the drinks were a bit overpriced but they were strong and the food was pretty good. I had the enchiladas which were very similar to authentic homemade enchiladas. This spot is more of a higher end restaurant and prices are high but it is worth it!

Loved the restaurant they have a great selection of mock drinks but I went with a classic iced tea. They bring it in a tequila bottle with agave on the side which is awesome for me. It's served with a slice of lemon and ice. The food was great but I only gave it 4 stars because the menue didn't have the food listed as spicy and mine were spicy to the point I couldn't finish mine. I ate most of it but couldn't really enjoy it the way I wanted. I wouldn't have taken of a star if it was just me someone else in our party had some spice on their food that made it hard for them to enjoy in the way that they liked as well. The service was great they got our orders right and anticipated our needs by giving us one side with its regular toppings the other without because we had a person who adheres to a vegan diet with us. It was really a great experience. I would definitely go there again.

I really like this place. If you are tired of Americanized tacos and burritos, come her for some innovative, meaningful Mexican cuisine. Update - 3 years later and I still like this place. Considered 5 stars and just missed the mark for 2 reasons - a few entre specials would help to round out the offerings ; tables too close together which feels a bit awkward like your dinning with your neighboring tables.

Had a great dinner here last night with my best friend. Food was delicious, started from fresh tortilla and flavorful dip, drinks & entree. Our server Laureen was very sweet and attentive. (not sure if it was her name) She provided a birthday treat for our table which was unexpected. The only thing I would say thats why I gave 4 stars is the table arrangement was too tight and barely have no enough room between the next table and needed to be cautious that our plates/drinks might fall down.

Great atmosphere and service. Drinks were delicious. Not sure what happened with the food considering all these great reviews. Everything was BLAND! Guacamole needed more lime and salt, chicken tacos and enchiladas were lacking flavor. I expect pop of seasoning in Mexican food, and this wasn’t it. Maybe catering to the local demographic, maybe people aren’t into spice/flavor…

Not sure what has changed but it’s not the same as in the past. The menu changed, the service is OK and the drinks were OK. Don’t see us returning in the foreseeable future.

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Food is very good. We are not in New York City. You should not be hearing the conversation from the table next to you and they shouldn’t be forced to hear yours. Tables of 2 seem to be stacked on top of each other while larger tables seem to have proper space. Won’t be back as a couple. Very uncomfortable way to spend my anniversary.

Besito is a very nice little restaurant. With delicious Mexican staples and great specials. Make sure you dress nicely when you come here. The drinks are very strong and the margaritas are a must have. Started dinner with an order of the medium guacamole. The guacamole was very fresh and not spicy at all until you got to the bottom then it was insanely spicy. I guess it wasn’t mixed right. Ordered the grab taco appetizer. Very cool because they fried the whole crab. It was a very little grab so the whole body could be easily eaten. Yum. Very new and very innovative. For main course I ordered the enchiladas mexitas. It was 2 enchiladas smothered in a creamy sauce with mixed meat inside and onions on top. Not the biggest portion size for the money. And the sauce was the only part with flavor. Also ordered the ensalada de salmon. Basically it was a nice piece of salmon encrusted in pistachio over a bed of salad. Very delicious. Would order again. Service was perfect. Very pricey though

Updating my rating to 3 stars due to some changes. Service is usually great, however the interior can feel tight if it's a busy night. They used to give churros as a little treat to go, but that seems to have stopped unfortunately. Also, margaritas don't seem as strong and guacamole was not great on latest visit (big chunks of avocado, not well mixed, not enough jalapenos)

Portions have gotten smaller! The prices have gone up! Kudos to the chef. I recently ordered and was so disappointed! I spent over $100 for salad and steak (ARACHERA) small guacamole tomates were cut into huge pieces(poor presentation.Barely saw the avocado Disappointed! and they gave me only one rice and one bean soup. For 2x orders. The person at the entrance manager/shift manager stated you only get one per order. Well it’s two orders going to different location. He said you get one order per table. Well, I’m not dining in! And orders are going too two different locations. The website does not state that! Additionally, when you order one entree you get the rice and beans if you order two orders you still only get one rice and one bean the portion is so small, I spent $100+ on steak and a quarter cup of arugula! And expected to make a decision on what family gets the 4 ounces of rice or the 1/4 cup of beans. Disappointed!!! Must add the food is very good ! Except the portions.

Disappointing Birthday Dinner at Besito, West Islip I had high hopes for my daughter's 18th birthday dinner at Besito in West Islip, but unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. When making the reservation, I specifically mentioned it was a special occasion, birthday, and requested that they make it memorable and a surprise. To our dismay, the entire evening passed without any acknowledgment or effort to make it special. Upon arrival, we were seated in an area where the central A/C duct was leaking onto the table, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. When we asked to move, we were relocated to a back room, which felt like an afterthought rather than an accommodation. Service was incredibly slow, with our server taking an unusually long time to take our drink orders. This was surprising, considering there were only two other tables occupied in the restaurant. The lack of attentiveness and urgency from the staff was evident throughout the night. The food, which we had heard great things about, arrived lukewarm at best. The tableside guacamole, which is supposed to be a highlight, was prepared out of sight in the back. This lack of attention to detail and presentation was disappointing, especially given the premium prices we were paying. Overall, our experience at Besito was lackluster and not at all what we expected for a special occasion. The combination of poor service, underwhelming food, and a complete disregard for our celebration left us deeply disappointed. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their service and dining experience for future guests.

Not Mexican. Should be called kinda mexican. Tacos small over priced and blah. Got the fish and the shrimp. You only get 2 and they are over priced. This place is tiny and they make you valet just to squeeze a buck out of you. Inside it still looks like the parkwood but the added a few decorations from dollar tree and changed the music. It was seriously about 80 degrees in side no ac on at all customers were sweating at the table. The bus boy was the best part kid did a great job compared to the waitress who only came to the table 2x the entire visit. I'm shocked this place has any reviews over 3 stars. There are 5 taco/authentic places to get tacos from that blow this place away within 2 minutes of here. Will not be back not worth it in any way. Over priced small portions cramped hot and pay for parking. Never again

Service was excellent! No complains about the waitress or servers, they did a great job! However food was very over priced, drink were mostly ice. I am ok paying for food when I go out as long as I am pleased and satisfied and even tho this was an invitation from my friend his wife and kids It hurt me to see the bill to what we got. Not sure if Besito In Huntington still the same as back in the day but this one is for sure not where near the besito I remember. Very disappointed. Thanks to the servers for making it up with great service.

Food isn’t the same at all. Been here several times and there’s a big difference in the taste of food. Not sure if there are new owners and/or chefs, but I’m very disappointed. Staff however, was super nice and manager did try to fix the situation with my food which I appreciated, but it still wasn’t tasty unfortunately. Experience really stinks because our anniversary wasn’t even brought up despite it being in the reservation. Unfortunately won’t be coming back. It’s not what it used to be. :(

I don't give negative reviews often but this will be an exception. Our drinks were terrible to start the night, my wife ordered the filet mignon and was so disappointed she couldn't eat it. My meal was the fish and like wise disappointing. My wife couldn't cut through the steak (filet should be tender) and had to go up to the bar to grab a steak knife due to a lack of service. The place was crowded and poorly lit. We left after 45 minutes extremely disappointed. I would go anywhere else given the choice.

Disappointed with the New Changes I used to really enjoy coming to this restaurant, but unfortunately, the recent menu changes have completely ruined the experience. The new dishes lack the flavor and quality that made this place special. Everything tasted bland and poorly prepared—nothing like what it used to be. It’s frustrating to see a place I once loved take such a disappointing turn. I won’t be coming back unless things improve.

tiny & overcrowded space, borderline unsafe if an emergency happened. Had to wait 30+ mins after our reservation time to be seated. Weird service. Food overpriced and below average. Drinks were okay. After reading the reviews and the phony scripted page responses about “we will share the feedback with our team” or “the true Besito Way” it doesn’t seem to have gotten any better. Valet parking for a 2x2 parking lot is also laughable. With that said, it might be a good spot to go after work for drinks or food. Just doesn’t seem like that space can handle the weekend dinner rush. God bless!

Went here after work on Wednesday and was verbally attacked by a male patron sitting at the bar. We were 5 women, and the bartender, who was also a male, did not even intervene as this patron was “a regular” at their establishment. Very unsafe, will never go back or any of their other restaurants!!!

Very disappointed!! We had dinner with 8 family members. 1st they didn't allowed us To be seated at the time of our reservation as 2 members were delayed The manager did not allow us to be seated and order food for children as kids were hungry. My children and grandchildren were visiting me over the weekend. The hosting staff behavior was very rude and arrogant. We have had good experiences at Roslyn Basito many times. Very disappointed and never ever go to this place. Restaurant is also very crowded and small. People are definitely not pleasant there. No sitting place while you wait. tiny reception area.

Is not like I spected to be Mexican cousins as a panic person I didn’t like it over price for the food need more items like more chooses as a tacos not enough lighting in the restaurant you can hardly see what you having is cool is memo but not for eating need more view of what you order good teast but not for me need more for the value of the food I not recommended to you personally
