Recently made a trip back to Austin to see friends and family for Thanksgiving. Someone in our group wanted to go by CAVA and I wasn’t sure what to expect. WOW!! Everything was AMAZING! I got the clix chicken shawarma, and it was delicious. The tzatziki was great and made the dish a 10/10. My wife got the garlicky chicken shawarma. She loved it and we both agreed that this is a MUST STOP every time we come to Austin!

Everything is incredible! I love the food, the hummus, the rice, the steak, the Mia, the atmosphere, the service is great, especially Mia. Mia was there to aid us in our darkest times, when it looked like there was no way out. Truly the GOAT of Cava, I look forward to dining again to see her in action.

Decent food and service. It would be better if they paid attention to how long the food has been in the serving containers. Irritating to have parts of the meal that has brown rice that has been burnt until it is hard and crunchy.

maybe we don't just say "Cava" for location info.. if it's not a normal Cava, let's make sure people don't show up, in a hurry, hungry, and almost at closing time - only to find out you have to find their QR code (not even always visible in the store as there's a slow rotating screen menu), share an address you're near, make a profile, add payment info, then you can select items in app.. little customization. app is annoyingly overwhelming. the workers seem like they're trained to not speak to you. dirty floor. feels like a mini Domino's delivery waiting room if you know what i mean.. not 1 star, because still good food.. but damn. so bummed we came to this one. this could have been avoided if they just said "Cava - Cloud Kitchen" or "Cava - Catering" just for the specificity and helping me (someone who likes to look and point at the items i want to select).. this place has had many issues with this mistake, and they still have not adjusted anything to help stop people from making this mistake.

We didn’t realize this is an order only on the app Cava location. We downloaded the app and tried to place an order for food twice. Both times the app said it was having technical issues. After the second time we informed the staff. They didn’t seem to care, so we left. Husband has never tried Cava and now is not too pleased to even try again!

We waited 30 minutes for our food inside of the restaurant and the staff knew we were waiting. They didn’t start making our food until 20 minutes after we ordered and the order was still ready 5 minutes after our pickup time. There was no other ordered and the staff sat around for 20 minutes instead of starting our order. When picking up my food I asked if it was our order and the Mexican lady just stared at me and walked away without saying a word when I said thank you. Very poor service and I won’t be coming back to this location.

I showed up 15 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready (according to the app) and they hadn’t even started preparing the order. I waiting over 25 minutes after arriving. Only one other customer in the store. Then, they told me they ran out of rice and asked if lentils were ok as a replacement (what?). This is the chipotle of Mediterranean food with no service (it is designed to include no service element). Kind of like Whataburger digital kitchen; the world is not quite ready.
