My wife and I typically come in later at night after our work shifts, and most of the time we get Ellie as our server. And every time, even when things are hectic, she’s always on the ball, always pleasant, personable, remembers our usuals. A+ all around. Whatever she gets paid, it’s not enough!
It’s not Waffle House so I’m not gonna write home about it but the ladies are having a competition so gotta help the server staff! Flory won this time but also any other under dog who needs a vote just” insert name here” thank you for your time n understanding! Tip your bartender, tip your tattoo artist! Be safe, drive safe, drink milk! Are you here to protect yourself or deal some damage
En route to Burlington for the solar eclipse, I stopped at Denny's in West Lebanon, NH. As an international traveler, I found warmth in the waitstaff's kindness. They served me a scrumptious, huge sandwich that perfectly set the tone for the day. Nourished and appreciated, I continued my journey, ready for the celestial show ahead.
I stopped into Denny’s for a breakfast reward after a medical test, and it was exactly what I needed. The whole experience was top-notch from start to finish! The Food: I went big and ordered the Lumberjack Slam and couldn't resist adding the Rudolph pancakes. Everything was delicious, fresh, and hit the spot. The Service: Bethany is an absolute star! She is an amazing server who made the morning so much fun. She even went above and beyond by helping me take a photo to commemorate the meal. The Vibe: The atmosphere has that perfect, classic diner feel that really brings you back to your youth. Thank you, Bethany, for the great conversation and wonderful service. I’m wishing you a very busy day with big tips—you deserve it! 💚
The cheesy eggs were good, hash browns were crispy and well seasoned. Sausages were on the small size, but tasted great with hints of fine herbs. Bacon was thin but very crispy. Only disappointing thing was the portion size which i found to be quite small. Other than that, everything tasted good and service was fast.
Clean, great service, good food. Probably the best double cheeseburger around, and you can get it at 8am! I am never disappointed at Denny's. It's exactly what you should expect.
It’s Dennys – you know what you’re getting. The food is consistent and it’s open 24h. We arrived at 6:30pm in Lebanon NH and went to Denny’s because I was craving breakfast for dinner. It was semi full and we were seating immediately. The waiter was great and got us water immediately – while this is something that should happen immediately at all restaurants, it doesn’t happen more often than you’d think or like. We settled into our booth. I over ordered the Lumberjack Slam: 2 pancakes, grilled ham, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage links, 2 eggs made to order, crispy hash browns and buttered white toast. The grilled ham was surprisingly good. By dinner, the hash browns were nice and crispy (they can be a little less crispy during the morning rush). The portions are always generous and there was no way I was finishing this but I ordered it anyway. The “two fluffy buttermilk pancakes” were a sleeper hit and my group collectively dug in to finish them – they are surprisingly fluffy and good. The Bourbon Chicken Skillet with grilled chicken breast served over potatoes, broccoli, bell peppers & onions and mushrooms – it was a solid choice and the bourbon sauce was not heavy or offensive. We enjoyed the Crazy Spicy Skillet with grilled chicken breast, chorizo sausage, bell peppers & onions, mushrooms, jalapenos, potatoes topped with cheddar cheese, spicy 5-pepper sauce and pepper jack queso. The only compliant we had was the onion rings – we ordered a side order and for $5.19 then received 5 rings (see photo) – there is no way that these basic frozen deep fried onion rings were worth $1 apeice. Overall a happy and pleasant experience and we would go back but we won’t be order the onion rings again.
The only turnoff was a cook with beard and long hair, no nets on.. and also eating while cooking.. was glad he didn’t cook my burger… but he did cook my husbands.. and overcooked home fries… also food sat there a good 5 minutes waiting for mine to be done…
The ordering process was a breeze, the robot who answered was extremely helpful and listened. I didn't have to repeat myself. Once I got the foot, it was fine the first few bites then the chicken was heavily seasoned, and the hash browns weren't as good as I was expecting. It was late at night, but the food could've been better.
The Dennys is lebanon nh was alright at best. Maybe they were having a bad day but the server we had clearly didn't want to serve anyone. She constantly hid from her two tables. Saw her sit on her phone for 10 minutes before grabbing our food. The pancakes were cold. Pretty presentation but chilly. Country fried steak was kind of bland but im used to seasoned food. Salt and pepper is a basic seasoning. However, it reminds me of mid 2000s dining experience when you walk in.
We usually like Dennys because they are fast and breakfast is the best. We'll we went for supper. My country fried steak was an over cooked pocket of breading with a small amount if Hamburg inside. No amount if gravy could save it. There was one guy cooking and two waiting tables and they were busy at supper time. They must have been like us not been there before. I would stick to breakfast if you ever go there.
Denny's isn't what it used to be; it's lost its charm. The waitstaff have been impatient and overwhelmed with their table duties. The food is average, and depending on who’s cooking, it might not arrive warm from the kitchen. During my last visit, I can’t complain too much, but the service was a bit odd. On the positive side, there’s great parking available, but the interior feels dated. The seats need an upgrade, and the overall design is somewhat depressing. The prices are reasonable, though, and if you’re looking for a quick meal, this is one of the few places to go for diner-style food.
I usually am satisfied with Denny's but not this time. Stopped there on the way home from picking up my daughter from the hospital. It's one of her favorite places when we are in the area. I ordered the pancake puppies. They looked so good on the menu card. When the waitress brought them I was puzzled at their appearance. The waitress only stopped by our table as we all were finished. She didn't seem to concerned about my complaint about my order. As I was going to cash out I passed another table that ordered the same thing as me and theirs looked worse than mine. While checking out I mentioned my dissatisfaction with my meal and again got the polite brush off. You look at the pictures and tell me if I was being to picky. What they are depicted as and what I was served.
My wife and I stopped in for an early breakfast and, while the service was excellent, the food unfortunately did not meet our expectations. We left disappointed, having finished only half of our plates—an expensive letdown at over $50. In hindsight, we should have taken the hotel’s recommendation to try The Fort off Exit 18.
It's Denny's. The food is at best ok. Maybe it's me but the last few dinners/restaurants have messed up my order. This was no exception. They forgot a side order for me and forgot my wife's salsa. Now I can accept this as a bad day, what I can't accept is the check out. I used my bank card and on my side it said the sale was captured but the young lady running the POS said it didn't go. I ran it again, twice and it declined twice. I asked if she was sure I hadn't already paid and she insisted I did. I then used a different bank card from a different bank. It went thru. I got the receipt and went to car. I checked both accounts and both had pending sales for the same amount to Denny's. I went back in explained the issue, showed them the pending charges. They said there is nothing they could do. Michael, and assistant manager, insisted it would only charge once. I said since it's to 2 different accounts it would charge both. Turns out I was right. I called Denny's customer complaint number and they will look into it and I should know in 3 business days. Tomorrow is Christmas. Now it's not the money it being treated like a moron. I'll never go back.
The service was horrible, didn't get checked on, no drink refills and no extra napkins. We sat there and waited for our check and looked at like we had 3 head when we asked for a to go box. The food was excellent no complaints there.
We waited for 30 minutes to be seated. They all seemed to be confused and disorganized. The manager had the nastiest attitude. We finally got seated and the waitress took our order, but she seemed confused. We waited an hour and still no food. We asked what happened to our order. She seemed very rattled, went and checked and came back saying it got thrown away because no one knew who it belonged to. We were never offered a coffee refill. It was the worst experience. Never again.
Went to Denny’s tonight for dinner and was completely ignored by two waitresses that refused to make eye contact with my husband and I as we waited for about 20 minutes next to the “Wait to be seated “ sign, while another waitress was busy taking care of paying customers. When she was finished with them, she told us we could be seated after the table was cleared. We waited 10 more minutes and no one cleared the table and she disappeared, so we left. It was pretty clear by the 3 waitresses behavior, no one at Denny’s wanted our business. We ended up going to Applebees, where we were greeted with a smile even though they were short handed and had 1 waitress working. We waited 5 minutes for a table and was home in an hour and fifteen minutes after being served a full meal with desert. Guess my husband and I will be returning to Applebees where their staff is friendly and accommodating…
I ordered a brisket/mac n cheese skillet and was told the mac n cheese oven was broken. So I ordered the brisket melt sandwich with fries and was given hash brown instead of fries as they said it was a breakfast sandwich but the menu clearly stated fries and you can see in the pic of the menu. This location is the very worst experience I've ever had at any Denny's.
