Eat here! The cocktails and drinks are my favorite (get the slamma or if you’re a bourbon fan, the old fashion will get you in trouble!). We got to sit at the bar and talk to the owner for 15 minutes or so... Super friendly guy. Larry was the bartender. Very hospitable atmosphere. The tenderloin was amazing. Please don’t forget to show up to The Honkey Tonk Takeover to seal the deal. My new favorite spot. :)) 🙌🏼

My wife and I shared big salad and Tenderloin mash potatoes and gravy. The Tenderloin plate was great. Salad needed some onion and feta cheese. Smoked pork chop was a must try. Had a bit from one in our party. Will be back for that. Wheated bourbon was great as well. Great service.

Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night and really enjoyed everything here. The food was all really good and reasonably priced. My wife and I both agreed that their Mash Salad was one of the best and simple salads we’ve had in a long time. The corn puppies, country fried pork tenderloin, and fried bologna were all excellent as well. It was our first time here and I wanted to sample their whiskey so I ordered The Dave which is a shot of their house whiskey and their own American Lager brewed by Sun King. Both excellent as well. Service was good and good atmosphere - they had an acoustic performer playing some classic tunes. Will definitely return for dine-in and take out.

We have visited a few times now and I can honestly say that we’ve had excellent food and tasty cocktails or pours every single time. The periodic menu changes give new opportunities and make the experience seem fresh and enjoyable and is actually appreciated even though one of your liked items may disappear, there’s always something to try in a similar taste genre! Never been disappointed here 👍

Went here for the first time last night for dinner. Great service. We loved the pulled pork nacho appetizer and the burger of the month with bourbon bacon jam. I also enjoyed the old fashioned.

Beautiful setting server Steven was da Bomb. Assisted by Britney. Distillery tour was great Thursday night with Cal W who is so passionate about American Bourbon {Because is has to be he is a true patriot and colts fan} and crafted in Indiana.

From staff at the tasting room who take their time describing the different characteristics of their bourbons who really know their products, to the expert chefs and restaurant staff who want your experience to be phenomenal, WFW does an outstanding job at having the right people in the right place to produce an excellent assortment of bourbons and a scratch made menu of unique and delicious food. You won't leave unhappy!

Exceptional food and exceptional service. Favorites include - the grilled romaine (full of flavor), plated tenderloin (elevated take on the traditional Hoosier tenderloin), burger (truly the best I have ever had), corn pudding (have ordered every time I’ve been), and the veggie wrap add chick n (if craving something lighter and healthier, but the veggies are hardy and they actually fill the wrap). I cannot say enough glowing things about this spot. Thrilled to have this as part of the Indy food scene to visit time and time again!

Pricey, but food and service was great.

The Mash House was an awesome visit for my family and I. My wife and I had the cheese curds, wedge salad, plated tenderloin, and oak smoked steak alfredo. All of the items were great, and the food my other family members had were also enjoyed by them. I also had one of their whiskey flights which was great. In addition to whiskey they also had beer, wine, other liqours, any a full list of cocktails that looked great. Whether looking for a drink or just going for food this is a great place to visit. All of the staff was friendly and I also got a free dessert for my birthday.

The Mash House is a great spot to either grab or drink or enjoy a nice sit down meal. The location is super nice and has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The food menu is pretty standard American fare, but the food is consistently tasty. The drinks are also great, as to be expected from a distillery making their own spirits. They are kid friendly, and they do have a dedicated kids menu. Service is typically friendly and quick. Prices can be on the pricy side, but they do have a happy hour during the week. Definitely give this place a try if you want good food and drinks!

The hot chicken Mac n cheese and pork tenderloin over mashed potatoes were 10/10!! Food presentation is beautiful, taste is absolutely delicious, portion size is huge (which is a plus for it being a little pricey/ you get your moneys worth!!), and atmosphere/ service was incredible! Definitely recommend!!

Great spot! We stopped in because it was pretty much directly across the street from Colts training camp. There was about a 30 minute wait, but that gave us a little time at the tasting bar. The gentleman serving that tastings was very personable and knowledgeable. There was a lot of variety in the menu. I settled on the steak sandwich and it was amazing. I can't wait to come back and do a proper tour of the distillery.

The food is amazing! My tenderloin sandwich was fab and the French fries… so so good! I don’t understand this place’s 4.7 review because it is 5 stars for me!

It was a last minute stop in for lunch. Food was awesome our server Brandon gave me a couple recommendations one for a drink and the other for food and he hit the nail on the with!! Definitely will go back. The pulled pork nachos was awesome.

Saying this place is great is a complete understatement. Atmosphere: It's exciting with a decent noise level. There is a modern feel to it that is still enjoyable. Service: Exceptional. Larry was our server and was attentive to our needs without being overbearing. Food: The absolute star of the show. My mom had the Mash House Signature Tenderloin, and she thought it was delicious. I had the Double Mash Burger, and it was filling and delicious. The portion sizes are generous; I completed my meal and was full while my mom brought most of her sandwich home for leftovers. I appreciate that they didn't skimp on their fries, as places that are similar to Mash House have done that. Price: It is a bit pricey, but the quality makes it absolutely worth it. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. I would recommend making a reservation on the weekends, as it does get busy with sports teams coming in before or after games at Grand Park across the street. Definitely recommend to anyone in the Central Indiana area - whether you live here or not - and we will for sure be returning!

We had stopped in for a tour and tasting last fall and then returned in January for the Bourbon/Food pairing. The bourbon is amazing on its own and the food was off the charts fabulous! The owners and staff are very welcoming, knowledgeable and it shows that they are very passionate in every aspect in this business adventure! We look forward to the next event and will definitely stop in when passing through the area! It’s a must stop for all bourbon lovers!!

West Fork Whiskey is a unique place to eat, a must visit kind of restaurant. They serve the fried cheese curds with 2 delicious sauces, one creamy garlic and the other a barbecue flavor with a twist, both very good! I had the truffle burger and my friend had the tenderloin which is huge, bigger than the bun fill you up type. My Truffle (mayo) burger did not really come through like I'd prefer but was still good. Bun was soft and pillowy. My friend really enjoyed her tenderloin. Fries were good but not as crispy as I like. I tried a mocktail that was def unique and although I didn't really care for it, it might be a winner for you. It was pineapple, lime, honey, mint and cold brew. Overall I'd def go back. Great staff and fun place.

Great bartender, expansive menu and good music. Came in on a Thursday evening and enjoyed sitting at the bar. We loved our charcuterie board and it was a nice warm place to sit and listen to some great music in the winter time. Also loved that you could sample whiskies and then purchase a flight.

My husband and I love West Fork Distillery. We live in NW Ohio but are from Central Indiana and West Fork is a must when we visit home. The drinks are fabulous and the food is delicious. In our last visit we also enjoyed great entertainment. My only wish is that you had a location in NW Ohio 😃

The Mash House was great! We've lived in the area for a couple years and finally got the chance to go over and have lunch. The waiting staff was great and the food was even better! Can't wait to go back. Only complaint is minimal seating available inside for the restaurant.

Quick stop for lunch on the way out of the metro area. It's a little off the beaten path but it was definitely worth the short drive off 31! It's in a very pretty, but rapidly developing area. I'm not a drinker, so no interest in the booze. I was however interested in their family restaurant. Turned out to be a good decision! Had the double mash burger...fantastic! Their fries are great and fried like you would at home. Service was great, food was fairly priced with ample portions. As always, I forgot the food photo...sorry I was hungry!

West Fork Whiskey and the Mash House has become a favorite date night spot. It is worth the two hour drive, great drinks and atmosphere. The food is excellent with a wide variety of specials that are always sure to please. The staff is always pleasant. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Heard good things and wanted to check this place out! We were very impressed! We had the bbq pork tips for an app and it was delicious but not what we expected at all. The menu doesn’t mention any veggies or garnishes, but as you can see it has cilantro, pickled onions, and Fresno chilis. The menu also vaguely says it comes with a bbq dipper so we expected a regular red bbq, but apparently it just comes over the white bbq. We loved this, but could see some people not being happy. The bologna sandwich was just outstanding. The pimento cheese was so good. I loved that the sandwich had chips on it as well. Really delicious sandwich. The peach sticky pudding was pretty good, but the only peach we could taste was just the two slices of peaches on top. Besides that it was pretty much just a bread pudding. Good, but nothing that special. Overall we really liked the restaurant and would go back again. Drinks were excellent and Jen was friendly and gave us great service.

Wonderful experience! Have dined there a few times now. Last time was the Dining with Santa. The family had a good time and it was a good variety of food and drinks. It’s a really nice place and will definitely return.

Fun vibe! Had the pulled pork mac n cheese it was phenomenal, but huge...definitely easily a shareable plate! Also had a Frenchie Old Fashion. Highly recommend this drink! It was great for sipping through dinner! Highly recommend a stop in!

I was skeptical to bring my customers here because it's so open and maybe loud... A fantastic lunch! I will definitely be back with more of my customers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean bathrooms and big clean place all over! A nice addition to Westfield for sure! What are you waiting for? GO! 😋

I love this place and drive 45 minutes to eat here at least 3 times a month. The drinks are soooo good, the food is melt in your mouth it gets down right undignified by the time I’m licking my plate clean and the atmosphere is wonderful! Go try this place like right now! The salmon is my favorite.

B
Brandon Fisher

Kacey was an excellent server! I thoroughly enjoyed the pork chops. One of the best pork chops I have ever had (and I have had some exceptional pork chops). If you get the Brussels sprouts, order a side of the hot honey. The hot honey places the brussel sprouts on a 5 star rating level. Love visiting. Thank you, again for a wonderful time and delicious food!

Love the atmosphere at this place. I am not a whiskey person- my husband liked it though. Food is really good and much more than the average. Foodies wood appreciate the flavors! The bar area is really cozy- I plan to go back to enjoy that area more.

R

Food was good. Service was OK, they seem to not focus on what they are doing. Had to keep asking for things like salt and pepper, knives and extra napkins. Drinks were good, but getting finished glasses off the table isn't a priority. Asked for a toothpick, they don't exist in this establishment, weird. It was a nice evening, not sure if this happens all the time or if it was an off night.

K
Kurt Collins

Great place to go. I went their for the tour and stayed for dinner. The staff were amazing and the bourbon was good. I ordered the Truffle be Jammin double smash burger. However as you can see from my picture, I was actually served a Double Smash Burger with bourbon bacon jam. Looks like the cook messed up and just added the bacon jam. The Truffle be Jammin Burger should have had provolone cheese and truffle aioli, both missing. Although the beef patties were good, the bacon jam did not pair well with the american cheese, pickle, lettuce and tomato. I didn't make a fuss and send it back. You know it can be awkward watching your fellow diners in your group eat while you wait and then eating alone while they wait.

J

Whiskey bar featuring good dining menus and finger foods. Food prices are on the higher side for the size, but it was pretty good. They also have live music which was great.

R
Ryan Wischmeyer

We enjoyed the food, they have some interesting specials my wife likes. I like the plated tenderloin a lot. The only issue here is when it comes to pay. There is no paper bill, it’s all electronic. The wait staff stares awkwardly at you and watches you put in the tip. We paid cash in a previous visit and it was even more awkward for them to watch you count out money. Perhaps it’s just us though and I understand the staff probably doesn’t want you leaving without paying, but still really awkward for all involved. That said I’m sure we’ll go back in the future.

It was really good! The food was delicious (husband had bison chili which was very flavorful & spicy. I had sliders, which were incredible juicy and yummy). The atmosphere was a whole vibe - loved the separate bar area. Definitely will go back. But, it was a bit pricey. The drinks were delicious, I mean so good. But not very strong (ours were from the separate bar area). So if I’m paying $14 for a cocktail, I want a damn good buzz. I ordered 3 different drinks and every single one was fabulous, just wish they were stronger for the price.

The food is good. Our service was very good. The atmosphere is meh. The upstairs seating area has a high school cafeteria/mall food court feel to it. Their Bloody Butcher bourbon is amazing!

Food was great as usual, but the service was terrible. We sat at the bar, there were only a few other people there with two bartenders, and the restaurant was not busy as it was around 8. She greeted us promptly but then after that took ten minutes to come back to get our drink order. We waited 15 minutes for her to make our drinks. I noticed our drinks were sitting on the well for several minutes before we had to ask if they were ours, the other bartender acknowledged us and she brought the to us. Our appetizer and entree came out at the same time. We had the app boxed up, because we didn’t want our steaks to get cold. Our bartender never checked back on us. The other bartender helped us when we asked, but we had to get her attention to ask for everything. We ordered dessert to go. Came back home to find they put ice team directly on top of warm chocolate cake in the togo box. It was obviously completely melted by the time we got home 15 minutes later. I love their food and always have, so luckily the night wasn’t a totally bust, but it was the worst service I’ve ever had there. The appetizer and the dessert ended up being a waste of money. When you’re paying $160 for dinner, the service should match.

Great food and service at the Mash House. The main dining area has large glass garage doors/windows that are nice for letting in light, but make the eating area cold in the Winter. Take a coat and plan to wear it if you're going in freezing weather. They have a small enclosed bar separate from the main dining room bar that I haven't tried. Probably a warmer venue during Winter. Not sure if you can get food served in there. My favorite is their tenderloin - huge and tasty. I really like a couple of their Old Hamer Bourbons. Try an Old Fashioned smoked or with a barrel strength. My wife loves their mixed drink named "Slamma". Try this place. A great local venue.

We’ve been underwhelmed with the quality of the food at several other distilleries/breweries in the area, but not this time. The Mash House has “raised the bar” of our expectations. My wife had the fried green tomato BLT, and I had their burger. They arrive quickly, and both were really tasty.

A
Anthony Sciuto

Food was good! I enjoyed the appetizers more than the entrees. Our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed but she still did a great job. My only gripe is that we had to ask for silverware multiple times after getting our food, with me ultimately going up to the bar to get it so we could eat.

M
Matt Dickerson

Very nice new building. Good parking and great atmosphere. Foods expensive but you get big servings. Beautiful bar with poured concrete tops and local whiskey.

J
Jeremy Mitchell

Food was pretty solid and the atmosphere was great however the service was pretty bad. The server stand had 4 people hanging out and we walked up and they didn’t say anything. Finally came a “how many?” They appeared to be solving a complex math problem figuring out were to seat us. We were seated upstairs which was nearly empty and put next to a huge group. We asked if we could move to the railing since every other table upstairs was empty and we given an I guess so. Server didn’t seem to know the menu and had to be flagged down for the bill, for refills… and for silverware after our food was on the table for 5 min. I was close to just going downstairs and looking for silverware myself. The food was great. Tenderloin was excellent! Water is brought out in a big bottle which I assume helps the servers but then we never got anymore. We would’ve ordered more drinks if we could get the server to come back. Sort of just seemed like the people don’t like working there. Probably won’t go back but hope you have a better experience.

Happy hour wasn't very happy. First off, the place looks great, it's nice and modern, clean look. We came in at 4pm on Thursday. The place was empty, just a few guys at the downstairs bar. We, party of 10, got seated upstairs within 10 minutes, again no one else in the restaurant. No one greeted us as we came in or anything. The hostess, young blonde, seated us and was less than pleasant. She didn't say anything to us as we entered. She was unwilling to move 2 tables together in a empty restaurant to accommodate 10 of us so we split 7 and 3 at 2 tables. Then she returned with the menus and threw them on the table and walked away. The waiter, Larry, who might have been a busser, was in a hurry it seemed. He brought out water bottles which were the bourbon bottles filled with water that oddly he filled up out of a 5 gallon bucket. Not sure where the bucket came from but the water tasted horrible. We ordered appetizers and drinks, pretty fast turn around, and received the drinks in just a couple minutes. We drank our first round then waited around for another 10 minutes or so, no Larry in sight. He came back and got a few more drinks orders, about 5 minutes later he came back with appetizers and drinks. By this time it was 4:40 and 3 of us had a tour downstairs for 5:00. No time to eat for us so the rest of us ordered entrees. The food all around was really good, we had a variety of dishes but the service was just not up to any standard of good. The drinks were a crapshoot, some being good and others not at all. The tour was great with Calvin, and one of the owners walked through while on tour and was very nice. Not sure if it was an off day for the staff in the restaurant but a do not appreciate attitude when I'm coming to have a good time with friends and the staff is seemingly irritated with our presence. It would be a solid 4.5 without the staff problems but with it a 3.3. Extremely slow with the waiter coming back for drinks, it's a distillery, people come to drink, checking every 25 minutes if you need more drinks is unacceptable. I only had 1 drink myself because of the slowness. The pork chop is a banger, excellent. The salads were pretty good. The pulled pork nachos were very good and healthy portions. As far as drinks, the Slamma was the best by far, rest of them weren't great, they need a better mixologist as the ingredients sounded good but executed poorly. After we 3 guys left for the tour, the girls sat and drank more but they also said the service was still slow and bad, not professional at all.

1st time visit. Nice looking, new place, clean. We were seated quickly & waitress was prompt in taking care of our drink, appetizer & dinner orders. Cocktails were good, but food was a disappointment. We love a good tenderloin, but this one was so over cooked it was barely edible. Salad was ok, burger was good. I probably won’t go back though, nothing really made it worth another try.

I ordered wings extra crispy, well that didn't happen. The carrots and celery were rubbery like they were frozen and then thawed. My guest and I could tell the difference between the 2 dipping condiments, Blue Cheese or Ranch, both were tasteless. Now an order of wings doesn't make this a bad place, it could have been an off day. It's a nice clean place and you should go and make your own decisions.

K

Well the food was par for the course, nothing amazing. The fish and chips were decent but not anywhere near the best in Westfield or Carmel. They could do more, I think they could double dip making a thicker batter. The coleslaw was fresh, but lacked dressing. It was pretty dry. The apple salad was pretty good, a little strong on the dressing. Maybe just put it on the side. The service was outstanding at first, they got our order through quickly because we got there late and had to order quickly because the kitchen closes at 9:00. Makes sense for a place out in The boondocks. However, when it came to paying the bill and we wanted to go to the lounge it took about 30 minutes. The bartender who was our server spent too much time chit-chatting with somebody who wanted to buy a bottle of whatever. The atmosphere was awful, and reminded me of a cafeteria. The lights were so bright almost gave me a headache, which made it a bad experience. This is not the first time I have experienced this here. I won't go back here because of the lights., but like I said, the food is par. Check out the pictures in my posts!

Bland. Burnt. Overpriced. We got the hush puppies, nachos, chicken sandwich Nashville style, philly cheesesteak, and chicken tenders. Everything we ordered looked pretty good (other than the food pictured) but was offensively bland. The hush puppies came out almost black and the chicken tenders were obviously over cooked as well. Honestly surprised they even served them to us. Many more outspoken people I think would have sent them back at just the sight of them. We still ate what we could considering the price of everything and we were hungry but they tasted burnt and not even the butter could cover up how dry they were. All of the food tastes like it was bought premade frozen and heated up with nothing actually being made in house, which fine at some restaurants, but at these prices is ridiculous. The fries also didn't seem fresh but like they had been sitting for a bit. The atmosphere is cute, I was hoping the outside seating would be more meaningful rather than just some nicer looking picnic tables placed just outside the restaurant. Very disappointed will not be back.
