Delicious and it lives up to its 4.8 star reviews!! The staff are so kind, I felt like family coming in. The food is tasty and fresh. The service was perfect. I felt like dining in a cousins restaurant. And the price is great for the great portions you get. I will be back (sooner not later!)

Best price for great meat quality meat, veggies, and noodles! At lunch it’s still only $11 to fill your bowl! Dinner is all you can eat meat and only jumps up to $14 per bowl. Of course you can add add one and it’s a few dollars more. So worth it!! Not to mention, the wontons with the sweet and sour mustard sauce is to DIE FOR. It’s all so yummy and the staff is super sweet too! I’ve been going here for years and it’s usually the same sweet faces greeting us at the door💛 GREAT PLACE FOR LINCH OR DINNER WITH FAMILY

I’ve been craving Mongolian Bbq for a while but haven’t really explored. Saw this place with good ratings and must say, the ratings didn’t lie! It’s a cosy hole in the wall place which you know that means it’s good. Staff are very friendly and attentive, explaining the menu and how this roll. I got the all you can eat with my boyfriend, it was so much food! I will absolutely come again and I will highly recommend this place to friends!

Love this place. I have been coming here for well over 30 years since they were on HB. The wait staff and service are amazing, and I love how they remember me and my family and always ask how we are. They know me and my family so well, we never need to ask for a menu, they just start bringing our plates, drinks, and we head for the food. I look forward to returning as often as I can.

Our family has been dining at Genghis Khan for over 20 years; it was one of the only restaurants our extremely picky little 4-year-old liked! Now he's a 25-year-old voracious eater and he still loves this place. The waitstaff is friendly and they remember our orders every time! The food is always 100% fresh and tasty. The meats may have been frozen, but they're ready to hit the grill when it's time to move down the buffet line. We love the wide assortment of vegetables and meats as well as the flavorful oils and spices to mix in. I love a place where I can get exactly what I want; Genghis Khan never disappoints.

I am a regular at this place. Staff is friendly, knows our orders. Food comes out quick + you get to pile your bowl as high as possible. Decent prices, from 14-20+ each person. Typically quiet, but even when packed the place is quick.

I'm super excited they are back! They were in Fountain Valley before and I practically grew up going here. There were many great times with friends there and now at the new location there have already been many great experiences. What's even better is they literally moved across the street from my office. I can conveniently walk there for lunch or dinner, and I have! I have started to reintroduce my friends to this location and we all have had wonderful dinner services at this location. I will continue to go back as the food and customer service is great! ! !

I used to visit Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ as a kid when they were in Fountain Valley. Having found it again, and visited a few times, I can easily say it's one of my favorite dining experiences. The staff is always incredibly friendly and the food is outstanding. For all you can eat, it's a reasonable price and you're sure to eat it's worth. It's hard to stop eating once you're there. The all you can eat option is during the dinner service only, but they also have great lunch options. I highly recommend you give this place a try!

They're very clean, attentive, and informative. The staff goes above and beyond to provide any and all forms of precautions to make sure you get your food in a safe fashion. I felt very well taken cared of, and the food is very delicious. You can be very generous with choosing your plate and the cook is also very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return!!

The lady who runs this place is SO kind. I had never had Mongolian barbecue before so she walked me through the process and how everything worked. She even made a combination suggestions for the sauces. 10/10 recommend!!!

Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ is seriously the bomb. The staff are super friendly and always make me feel like a regular. They're happy to chat and get to know their customers. The all-you-can-eat option is a total steal, and I always pile my plate high with a variety of delicious meats, veggies, and sauces. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I can't get enough of this place. If you're looking for a great meal in a chill atmosphere, Genghis Khan is where it's at.

When I heard they closed, I was shocked because they always had lots of customers. Glad my friend and I happen to see their new location online and when we went to investigate, it was the same cooks and staff. The new place is nice and clean. Food is always great. Can't stress enough how much I love this place. Definitely bringing more people to experience this place this time around.

I've been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. I followed them from Fountain Valley. So glad they were able to open back up. I now live in Oceanside and still drive up to see them at least three or four times a year. So friendly so kind and they always remember you. Best Mongolian BBQ around!

Really good food for a reasonable price.

I can’t recommend this place enough. A true hidden gem! The food is amazing, and I love how customizable the bowls are, with so many protein, veggie, and sauce options. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I only ordered a bowl this time, but will definitely be back for AYCE.

If you know how to pack your bowl you definitely get alot of bang for your buck. You can also opt to have noodles. I recommend following the "Strong" recommendations on the wall for seasoning. My sister in law did not season hers well and said hers tasted a little bland, it was because she hardly added any seasoning. The service was great! I went on a Friday night around 8:30 and we were one of the only ones. I had read some reviews about how it was packed, not when I went though! Check this place out, just like Genghis Khan at the mall but 10 TIMES BETTER.

This was our first time here and it was fantastic. We came during lunch, which is one-trip only…BUT, it’s still a LOT of food. They portion your choice of meat—which you might assume they would skimp out on it, but it’s the opposite. A very generous portion of meat, all the veggies you want, and they add the noodles while they cook. My combination came with a baby egg roll and two sesame pocket breads. Husband’s also had two shrimp. Everything was delicious and the wait staff was super nice, attentive, and helpful. And you can’t beat the price. We will definitely be back over and over.

Was in search for a classic Mongolian BBQ spot and found this restaurant in a little strip mall off the fwy! They offered a variety of menu options and even had pocket biscuits.

I've been passing by this place for a year now, and decided to try it. Great small place for tasty food. The food is cooked in front of you, and you can control what goes inside your bowl. Four meat options, as well as a number of veggies and sauces that pair really well with them. Most of the time, people pile as much stuff in their bowl as they can, which causes a mess, but the workers clean the station pretty regularly and offer food grade disposable gloves for cleanliness. The food is delicious, and all dinner options include a cup of egg drop soup that tastes really clean and help break up the heavy meat and noodles. The servers are really nice and diligent, which make the dining experience easy and comfortable. The place is located on an awkward intersection though, but it's definitely worth it to try it out.

I don't know how this is rated so well. Missing most common veggies such as baby corn, water chestnuts, and bamboo shoots. No variety in sauces. No drink refills. Hard pass unless you want a disappointing strip mall noodle for $25 per person.
