Guests consistently praise the restaurant's flavorful sandwich selections and generous portions that rival other local favorites. Although some items vary in availability, the commitment to fresh ingredients and efficient order fulfillment remains strong. With ample parking and a welcoming atmosphere designed for on-the-go meals, this second location serves as a reliable destination for those seeking delicious finger foods anytime from early morning until evening.
Phở Gà Yummy is known for its Vietnamese sandwiches and bao, especially the roasted pork. Many praise the taste and quality, but some customers have experienced rude service, slow drive-thru service, and inconsistent availability of certain items.
Tip: Be prepared for potential wait times at the drive-thru. Consider ordering in person to avoid issues with the drive-through speaker and ensure order accuracy.

Stopped by for some sandwich and bao. Plenty of parking space since they have their own parking lot. They do have drive-through. Clean, bright and spacious store with plenty of bao choices, bánh mì, and chè. They are known for the roasted pig so order a sandwich, which is quite good. Just abit too much mayo sauce. The bao here are good too, got mixed for breakfast and snack. Great & friendly service. Quite turnaround since I was the only one there.
Got here on recommendation! They have the best authentic Vietnamese Banh Bao that I really love. Because they sell mostly convenient on-the-go & finger food, there’s no tables for you to dine-in, mostly for takeouts. Oh, they have a drive through, but last time I visited, a car was parked in the middle of the driveway, with no drivers. No idea if it’s of an employee or customer. The staff were super nice and friendly. She gave us helpful tips of local eateries, and agreed to let me use their private employee restroom to change my son’s dirty diaper. The Bao was good. I bought 2 boxes back to San Jose and stored them in the freezer. Still good after 2 weeks. Just need some steaming. The milk condensed coffee was also good. Other than that, they have many products that I would like to try next time I come.
I stopped by Yummy Bakery & Food To Go to grab a pork bánh mì sandwich and I was very impressed by their quality and taste. The bread was fresh and crispy, the pork was tender and flavorful, and the pickled vegetables were crunchy and tangy. The sandwich was well-balanced and satisfying, and it came with a generous amount of meat and sauce. The bakery also had a nice selection of pastries and drinks, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The place was clean and cozy, and it looked like they had recently remodeled. I really enjoyed my bánh mì sandwich from Yummy Bakery & Food To Go and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Vietnamese food.👍
My favorite place in the world 🥰😇 go get you some yum yum baby!!!! You will never forget how good it taste 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 try my fav #PorkSungBun🤪😘🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

#2 Roasted Pork Sandwich is the best
Nice clean store, staff is polite, food has available
The food is great 👍!
very good!!
Food 5/5 Service. 4/5 Experience 4/5
👍
Đồ ăn và đồ uống món nào cũng ngon OK. MÌNH cho 4sao nhé.
I love their special dish Nem nuong Hanoi, which is grilled pork vermicelli! Been there several times! I recommend it to all my friends! For what I hear, this place is permanently closed!! I’m crushed!🥹🥹😒
I can’t put a 5 stars for now but it surprised me how the rating of this place is very few. What I like most about this place is their meat and salted egg yolk bao buns and the tofu pudding. I have not yet get the chance to eat their bánh mì but it seems like they are quite busy, even on weekends.
The Bahn mi sandwiches were on point and the roast pork was awesome $15 a lb kinda pricey but not horrible, only semi complaint or critic was the 3% charge for using a charge card but the way around that is cash talks or use card expecting a 3% more. Now I’ve read other reviews on this location and from what I’ve been able to summize is the food never is the issue they probably had a unhappy employee or not trained employee ur I never encountered them so my review is based on food experience 👍and interaction with the counter person at the time which was good. Please just go get food and not pack the place the other 2 locations were crowded and wait was 10-15 mins this was 5 mins and ☺️👍
Food is ok, the Bao receipe must have changed in the few years because it tastes different. The service not so great. Drive through speaker is a joke. The lady take the order is rude and not welcoming what so ever. Does not give people time to look over the menu. Very rude.
Recently opened about 2 months ago, the crispy pork sandwich is very good. Currently rivals that of Carrot and Daikon. Wait times after order are still lacking, and especially at the drive thru. Again, room for improvement. With time, hopefully they can improve on those things.
It's fingers food, order and take out place than a dine-in. There is no table inside the store. However, they have a few tables and chairs right in front of the entrance. Their specialty is food is (banh-mi) sandwiches and Asian bun with meat inside. Drinks and smoothies and dessert are also available, it looks fresh. Prices are decent.
Banh mi cha nuong (grilled pork sausage) is NEVER available, at least for me or I have bad luck? Came many times, morning noon evening and night but “it’s not ready yet” “we dont have it now” “oh there is no more” like why??? Owner, how about adding a specific time you have it on the menu board? Or put it off the menu? The last time I asked the cashier “so when you have it?” He said “I don’t know” . Update: visited April 2024 and they started to have it from 8:30 am , it was good. After that, they always have it ready.

This location is hard to get in and out. They have drive through but sometimes we have to wait in the car for so long because nobody response to take the drive through order.

I was flabbergasted when I saw the banh mi, because of how little it was. The bread was stale and little butter when I ask for extra butter.
Avg food. Cashier is rude and angry at life. She was snarky with me when I mistook her saying one Box as one Bao so she rung me up an entire box. I said, "oh no I thought you said bao, not box". She then gave me this rude look so I had to sternly and politely put this lady in her place. Never going back. Ownership needs to train this lady as looking at the comments, I'm not the only one who notices...

Cashier is not happy at all even though it’s 8am on Saturday morning! Bad, really bad customer service!
Came in at 10:30, bánh bao not ready 🤷🏻♀️
The banh bao was small, cold and old. It’s 2-3 stars at best considering the options available in OC.
This location at Westminster and Newland. I have bought the food here many times. I like some foods here. I like the previous cashier (She is the skinny lady) since it was opened. But the cashier right now I really don't like her. She is very rude. Her face look like she's usually angry. The way her talking is not professional. While she was talking with me for selling the food, she was personally talking with someone else on the phone. Her eyes stare at me when I confuse something and ask her. She answer as she does not want to answer. Finally, she is not good at customer service. I like the food but I don't like cashier. I think I will go the other Yummy.
Drove through yesterday. At first, it took a while for the service to response to our drive through order. We ordered 1 banh mi, and 3 quail eggs banh bao, she only gave us the banh mi and let us wait second time because they forgot our banh bao. We reminded her, but then she gave us 3 COLD salted egg banh bao instead of what we actually order.

I ordered the sandwiches before I went to pick up, but when I came the foods were not ready for pick up , waste my time for waiting
You guys should close the door if you don't have enough workers. I came three times and no bánh mi heo quay??????
Pay with credit card charge 3% more, never seen any one before
Rude cashier!
Terrible service👎
Use to come here a lot in the morning drive thru and since their new drive thru worker doesn't even know english properly and very unprofessional. I go next door to the other banh mi now
I took drive thru order. I was stay at order machine for 1 min and no one reponed. I drive to pickup window and saw 2 lady working but no one notify me stay there untill I call them.
If possible, please replace the current cashier or re-train her to improve customers service. I have been at this bakery since day one and all the cashiers before were nice and friendly, not this current one. We are there to purchase the food, not beggars. Please don't show that unfriendly face to us and treat us like we are begging for food. I believe I am not the only person who feel that way.
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service I received during my recent visit to your restaurant. This was my first time visiting, and I was taking a little longer than usual to decide what to order. I was trying to be patient and respectful, and I even apologized for taking extra time. Unfortunately, the employee who assisted me, who identified herself as Tina, showed no patience or understanding toward me as a customer. When I was finally ready to order and pay, she refused to serve me and instead told me that I had taken too long. The situation escalated when she began yelling at me, asked me to leave the restaurant, and told me never to come back that day. I was shocked and embarrassed by how I was treated, especially since I was ready to place my order and had done nothing disrespectful. I left the restaurant feeling very disappointed and upset. I believe that no customer should be treated this way, especially during their first visit. I hope this matter can be addressed so that future customers do not have a similar experience.Thank you for taking the time to read my concern. I look forward to your response.
