A real gem of a restaurant. Modern, tasteful and comfortable seating. Attentive and friendly staff and an absolutely fantastic meal. Couldn’t choose so we had all 4 starters we fancied (there was 2 of us)…..veg spring rolls, tempura prawns, squid and satay chicken. All incredible. Then the yellow curry and teriyaki pork belly. We’ve had a lot of Thai food in the UK and in Thailand and this was one of our favourites. Do book in advance to make sure you don’t miss out on this place.

Just had the loveliest birthday party, (75th and not counting) here this evening and cannot fault the wonderful staff, service, food and atmosphere. Thank you Moran's for such a special evening.

Brilliant restaurant 😁iv eaten here a few times and im impressed each time great food and service ticks all the boxes for dining out which isn’t common these days

Fabulous Thai food & good friendly and efficient service. Decor a bit OTT but didn't detract from excellent food.

Wow!! Here on a weekend away, they squeezed us in. Amazing food, good service and great staff. My only disappointing moment was as the waitress cleared the table she knocked over 1/2 a pint of my beer I hadn't finished, apologied but didn't offer to replace it.

tiktok guy made some lit cocktails, the food was amazing and you get a massive portion too #yum. staff were so nice and mega quick, checking back to see if everything was sound. would 100% recommend this munchery. will no doubt be back for that drool worthy pad thai #banger

A lovely Thai restaurant food was excellent nd cocktail .2 for between £12and £16 very lovely place but recommended u book b4 u go ,as it gets full quickly they also do takeaways ,

We are down westward ho on holiday, so a first visit to Morans.. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING food and incredible service! Both the cocktails and food are to die for.. will definitely be returning and HIGHLY recommend! xxx

Picked up a takeaway from here tonight on the last night of our holiday. Food was delicious and high quality with good portion sizes and it was ready to collect at the booked time. The restaraunt itself seemed lovely as well while passing through to collect.

We were looking for something special for your 10th wedding anniversary and it truly was. The food was exquisite, truly the best Thai we've ever had. Our waitress was super helpful with helping us navigate choices but also helping us with a different sauce for one of our starters. The service was quick but not rushed, and the decor was so beautiful. A special evening and would go again.

Beyond brilliant from this place. The vegan pad Thai was unreal. Wish I could have stayed longer and gone back there every night during my visit! Would recommend to all. They were very courteous and had no issue with our buggy being next to our table as our toddler was asleep.

One of the best Thai food in the UK. We went for a quick lunch and I was really impressed by their service and food. The peanut paste curry was simply fabulous. And the view was great as well. Highly recommended

We came for a walk-in dinner and although there were no tables inside, there were plenty of outside seating that worked on a 'order at the bar/on your phone basis.' The starters were pricey, but the main meals are a very decent price. The chicken satay was delicious and worth the money, the duck spring rolls lacklustre. For the mains the green curry was exactly what you would expect and it was perfect. However the drunken thai noodles with duck were stellar! The outside seating area feels a little left out by the staff as there was no cutlery or napkins available until later. 9/10 Would recommend

Wanted to go here last year but never made so went this time round. Well worth the visit food was superb. We had salt and pepper squid and the crispy pork belly to start and both were amazing. The mains we had the weeping tiger which was succulent and the sauce was to die for and my husband had pad Thai which was also very nice. We also had chocolate torte for dessert and that was delicious. We'll worth a visit but make sure you book a table. The ladies toilets are amazing also offering alot to there customers.

Visited the restaurant while on holiday and really enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Would definitely return again when we revisit the area. Excellent Thai food.

We’ve always had a great meal here (and been coming for many years), the food is really authentic, tasty, well priced and nothing for the team is too much trouble. Absolutely love it, if you’re in the area well worth a visit

Me and my parents stayed in Bideford for a few days and after reading reviews we decided to try Morans. I can say that it lived up to the expectations we had after reading so many 5 star reviews. We arrived and parked just across the road as it’s off season the parking was free. We started with prawn gyoza (on the specials) prawn tempura and the pork belly. We had pad prig Thai dum, pad grapraw and pad key mao for our mains. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly, I was very impressed as a Thai food enthusiast I was not let down. The food was delicious, it was the perfect heat too as my family are huge fans of spicy food. The staff were attentive and very friendly too, overall a really enjoyable experience. When we are next in westward ho we will not hesitate to book again!

Excellent food, excellent service and all the cocktails in the world! Very pleasant 'garden' area for outside dining. Limited parking (but that's Westward Ho for you) Book ahead, it's busy and not that big. Also not cheap - but you get what you pay for, and what you get here is good stuff.

Really good Thai restaurant. Food was excellent, as was the service from the staff. A lovely place, well worth a visit if you're in the area.

This is the best Thai food I've ever had. Love my Mojito mocktail too delicious. Staff were super friendly and knew everything about all the dishes.

Beautifully presented and tasting delicious the Sea Bass that was hidden under all the veg was amazing. Can't recommend this jewel if a restaurant highly enough ......... the cocktails were delicious too

Amazing food and friendly staff. A real hidden gem that we discovered by accident and has now become a regular place to visit each time we're in the area visiting family. Fantastic views out towards the sea if you sit outside too.

Great little Thai restaurant on the front at Westward Ho! Food was delicious, the best chicken satay I have had. They do amazing cocktails too. The staff were all very friendly & knowledgeable regarding gluten free options- which they had plenty of. Ambience was great we shall certainly return & I can highly recommend.

Recent family holiday to Devon and this restaurant was nearby to where we were staying. The food was the delicious and the place was well decorated. The service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. No hesitations recommending this to anyone considering visiting this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant...I turned up without booking & unfortunately all the tables were booked...I mentioned that it was my birthday & they immediately suggested I sat at the bar...I had chicken stir-fry with garlic, chilli & egg fried rice...I had never tasted Thai food before but this meal was excellent, not too hot or spicy...staff were very friendly & made my night...they do takeaway as well so no excuse not to try their food 😄

Morans is a must visit and will be on our itinerary every time we visit Westward Ho! in the future! The food was unreal, we had the Duck pad Thai and the Beef Massaman Curry and both were delicious! With 2 drinks, 2 starters and 2 mains it come up to £56 which I think is very reasonable, especially for the taste of the food! A big shoutout to the staff as everyone we encountered was just really lovely and attentive! 11/10 would recommend!

Fantastic food. Had takeaway so can't really comment on service and atmosphere but the food was spot on.

The service was wonderful, great location - sea view if you sit by the window, and beautiful decor. The chicken satay was an excellent starter, tender and tasted wonderful. Disappointed by the Pad Thai (one of the sweetest I’ve had, almost caramelized). The massaman curry was ok (bland in my opinion). Also weird that a Thai restaurant doesn’t have Thai tea

Amazing high quality food, bit pricey but you thoroughly enjoy the food ! Never had a bad meal, staff very accommodating and can’t do enough to help, take away just as good and happy to provide the meals from main menu even if not on take away menu ! Highly recommend this restaurant. Love the duck for main and chicken satay for starters 😍

Friendly and attentive staff. Took time to get the chef to come talk to us about food allergy issues affecting some of our party. Enjoyed my Thai red curry very much. A good night out.

The service and ambience were excellent, and the toilets were impeccably clean. The food was absolutely delicious. A little disappointing, being a buffet, as there was only one main course option for vegetarians (or pescatarians) in addition to the rice and noodles. There was some confusion regarding the buffet timing. When we were seated, we were informed that the one-hour limit applied from our first visit to the buffet. However, exactly an hour after arriving and being seated, we were told our table was needed. Although they kindly allowed us an additional 10 minutes to finish, it was quite surprising, as we had just ordered another drink and were still eating. After arriving, placing our drinks order and receiving our plates it was only 45minutes. Had we not been ushered out, we would have happily stayed longer and perhaps ordered another couple of cocktails. As feedback I would suggest it was made clearer that the table was only for 1 hour, not the buffet and you are required to leave after that time.

Great little spot for a quick dinner. We came here on the off chance and we got a table. Cocktails are fairly priced but need a little work... Good food but just a little more attention to detail... bathroom where very well kept with perfumes and products which was really good touch. I feel like looking at the old photos that the chef may have changed, as I saw scallops but none where on the menu. Quite pricey for the quality as sweet and sour sauce hadn't been reduced enough thus being flavourless. Some staff where really good but needed to be that little more attentive but a good quick dinner spot if you are in a rush. A small note that I did notice we were eating from a lunch menu at dinner time?

Yeah, it's ok, service was ok, food was ok, cocktail was absolutely not worth bothering with, couldn't taste any alcohol.
