Opinions de I-Thai White Plains
We had dinner at Thai Den this evening and it was very enjoyable and impressive. A variety of menu items & specials. We started with one of their mocktails Thai Tea, and Wonton soup. For entree we had Shrimp Pad Thai and Chicken Devil Fried Rice. We’ll be back at the table next to us for a few duck dishes we want to try next time
Food was good — I ordered chicken shumai which had a ton of chicken (a little dry but sauce was yummy) — and chicken pad Thai. I would order both things again. Only real complaint is there were no utensils or napkins and I wasn’t home so it was hard to track down a fork.
Ordered delivery for the first time at this place (Panang Curry, Chicken Fried Rice, a soup and spring rolls). Delivery was quick and the food fabulous. We'll be regulars now, I predict.
My friends and I regularly order delivery from here for study sessions because its always great portions, quick delivery, and most importantly super delicious! So far everything we've tried has been great but our personal faves are usually the chicken drunken noodles!
I order from here often and have eaten in restaurant as well. I’ve tried a lot of dishes (though my go-to is the green curry with tofu!) and have zero complaints. Everything has been delicious and served fresh. The owner is kind and the staff are all equally nice people and very efficient.
I’ve been searching for solid Pad See Yoo made with enough sauce and Chinese broccoli for a while and finally found it here. Got the lunch special which came with a roll and soup at a good price. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Will be coming back!
Food has been delicious! I’ve ordered Thai Hot twice and both dishes have been quite spicy which I love. I had been looking for a tasty and consistent Thai place nearby and this is it.
I had a chance to dine at Thai Dem, which was really one of the most authentic representations of Thai food in a long time. The dishes were generous with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors: rich, aromatic, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the care and authenticity in every bite. The food and service are definitely the superstars here at this Thai Den. Unlike many of the newer Thai restaurants with all the fancy lighting and decor, you actually feel like you’re in an authentic atmosphere that’s not overwhelming with statutes and neon lights. It was the owner, though, who really made this visit stand out: warm, inviting, and really passionate about the food he serves. He came and checked in with us, explained a few dishes, and made us feel like we were guests in his home, not restaurant customers. This kind of hospitality is pretty rare and enhanced the whole experience even more. We spoke for several minutes about our travels to Thailand and how he started his business to spend more time with his family. His dedication to both his craft and his loved ones is truly admirable. The MANGO STICKY RICE is a MUST! If you are looking for excellent Thai food combined with fine service, then Thai Kitchen is definitely a must-try.
Thai Den has become our go-to Friday night take-out spot! The food is always hot, fresh, and incredibly delicious. Highlights are the dumplings (all of them!), pad see ew, massaman curry, thai roti, and thai basil. On top of the amazing food, the owner is always so warm and welcoming and knows us by name, and the reward points are generous and almost always ensure one of our entrees is comped in our next order. All around a local winner for us!
This place is our go-to for Thai food. The flavors are authentic, and the people are always so kind. The yellow curry is my personal favorite. It feels so comforting and healing even when I’m not sick. Their pad see ew is also spot on. We’ve never had a dish here that we didn’t enjoy. Highly recommend— this place truly deserves more appreciation!
Absolutely fantastic Thai food! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made with fresh, vibrant ingredients. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere cozy without being crowded. You can really taste the care that goes into the cooking here. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic, satisfying Thai food!
The presentation is amazing. We love that the delivery is well packaged and appealing. We often order, and they never disappoint us. The food always tastes amazing, and the consistency is what keeps us going back. We love the soup and mini spring roll with tasty sauce. We recommend all to try it once, and you'll be a regular. Our toddlers always approve the delightful meals.
We really loved our special meal at Thai Den. My family and I were passing through and really wanted to enjoy Thai food. We found this restaurant conveniently on our way. Our kids are normally picky eaters but all three ended up enjoying and finishing their food. Kids had: tofu fried rice, and seafood fried rice. Parental had pad see ew and the panang curry. The kids had a strawberry cocktail and the parents had ginger black tea. We ate everything! And made sure to leave space to enjoy a fried ice cream and sweet purple rice (sorry forgot the official name). Our entrees came with a broth soup and small spring roll. All delicious and perfect. Truly no complaints and to top it off the owner and wife were excellent hosts and attendants to us. Next time we are in town we will absolutely visit and enjoy again.
Delicious food and very comfortable chairs! We are every bite of our food. Som tum salad was as amazing as it can get. Drunken noodles and Thai fried rice were delicious. The food was served fresh and hot. Purple rice dessert was great! Loved eating here and cannot recommend enough. The wooden, old fashion chairs were very, very comfortable.
Cozy little spot with a super friendly staff. This is definitely the place to go if you want to avoid the myriad corporate/franchise restaurants all around. If you're brave enough, ask for it extra spicy! I promise you won't regret it. We opted for that on the drunken noodles and red curry. The veggie dumplings are a must for appetizers.
Love love love! Traditional Thai food with a mixed traditional and modern setting. I was suprised by the music mix, hip and in! A mixture of all sounds. Definitely a chill place to sit back and enjoy delicious food in a no pressure style zone. The food itself was delicious, i had a bit of all my friends food and give it 5 stars for each plate. Staff is sweet! No long waits for the food. Ingredients were fresh and the bathrooms were clean and comfortable! Good to go!
Some of the best Thai food in Westchester. I’m a superfan of the cuisine as it tends to be my first choice since I started making income. The aroma and bright flavor of their shrimp Panang curry reminds me of Siam Orchid in Scarsdale (now closed), which I loved growing up. The Drunken and Pad See Ew noodles are great too. I get them delivered and my team at work places pickup on a near-weekly basis. Food stays fresh and hot on arrival and the order’s always right. The inside of the restaurant is cute and cozy, but I have yet to eat-in. Annoyingly they don’t give chopsticks/utensils even if you request, which is ridiculous. If you pick up in person they’re friendly and will give them to you when asked. Delivery… good luck!
It is a little tricky to find this place if it's your first time going there. It is tucked into a corner under a building, not exactly a commercial location. I ordered fried pork dumplings, a soup, and pad thai chicken, with my friend also ordering an appetizer, a soup, and a main dish. Dinner for 2 cost $60. The service was good, the staff were friendly, and the food was decent. The food was nothing to rave about; I have had better, but it wasn't bad.
It was one of those brutally cold winter nights where everyone is bundled up like they’re preparing for an Arctic expedition—giant boots, puffer jackets swallowing our identities, and a full commitment to looking comfortable, not cute. The wind was rude, the temperature was offensive, and parking simply did not exist. After driving in circles questioning our life choices, we finally landed at this cool little Thai spot—and honestly, it felt like a reward for surviving the journey. The restaurant itself was cozy in the best way. Warm honey-colored lighting, intimate vibes, and the feeling that you somehow wandered into someone’s stylish living room where the host just happens to serve Thai food and excellent cocktails. Very Manhattan energy, but without the chaos—like Manhattan after therapy. Now let’s talk food. The appetizers are where this place really shines. We started with spring rolls and butterfly shrimp, and WOW. These were fried so perfectly crisp they practically announced themselves when they arrived. Crunchy, hot, and dangerously easy to keep eating even after you’re “just having a few.” These are non-negotiable—order them. Order two. Don’t think, just do it. We moved on to the crab rice, which had great flavor but didn’t quite taste as fresh as we hoped—still enjoyable, just not the star of the night. The fried rice was solid and dependable, like that friend who always shows up on time but doesn’t steal the spotlight. And then… the Thai Den Mojito entered the chat. Absolutely to die for. Refreshing, perfectly balanced, and powerful enough to make you forget about the freezing weather, the parking trauma, and the fact that your boots are still wet. This drink alone is a reason to come here. Honestly, I’d come back just to sit, sip, and pretend I live in this cozy little space.
This was okay if you are crazing Thai in a pinch but I’ve definitely had much better thai. We ordered the chicken drunken noodles, crispy duck pineapple curry, and pork dumplings. The chicken drunken noodles was overall very dry. The noodles and the chicken seemed overdone. The crispy duck was okay. I really loved the curry and it was a little spicy but not too much (asked for medium). The pork dumplings were good. I didn’t love the Thai iced tea and my bf didn’t love the Thai iced coffee. Overall it was just okay. I’d definitely be willing to give another curry a try in the future!
I’m in search of a new Thai restaurant and stumbled across this one on uber eats and reviewed the google reviews, which were good. I ordered the spring rolls, I received to long logs of “spring rolls” stuffed with 90% warm lettuce, 8% other vegetables and 2% tofu - gross. I didn’t event bother eating them. For my main, I ordered mixed steamed vegetables with extra steamed shrimp. The shrimp were good, I ate them. The mixed veggies were a joke, two huge pieces or broccoli and then pieces of cabbage and carrots, not worth $16 dollars. The rice I received looked old and tasted old.
I ordered through Grub Hub on 9/27/25. I ordered the duck salad and received my food at approximately 8:30PM. By 11:30PM I was in the bathroom throwing up from food poisoning. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. Please order at your own discretion. You have been warned.
