Update: I've seen a real change in the crew and management as of lately. They get the orders right every time now. The line moved quicker and the food is better. Worst turn over rate I've ever seen. The teenagers at the pick up window are more focused on dancing and grinding on each other than getting my order right. So disgusting how the managers treat you when you confront them with your order being completely wrong.
Good place to stop and have a good hamburger.

One of my better experiences at this location – especially given the hour. Just went through about 20 minutes ago having placed an order and realized by the time I got the window I had a reward that was better pricing than what I had ordered– For what I had ordered. I dunno if it's the management but I'll literally drive past Montgomery Whataburger another 20 minutes plus to order from here cuz 1. the food is hot 2. They took the order correctly 3. I got it quicker than had I stopped back yonder...and probably made it back home

This is the best Whataburger that I go to. Brandi the manager has continued to run this place just like the last manager. Jessica is a hard working Asst. Manager there and then you have Senior Pelon the local Jester! NEVER had a bad meal here in over 10 years.
Great quality food. Friendly, full staff during peak hours. Drive thru was full but they keep it moving. Clean environment.
Well, I greeted the lady as I usually do with a thankful hello how are you. She was so unfriendly. She took our order and I paid for it and I told her thank you. She was so mean looking. We got our food correctly in about 7 minutes and the food was hot. When she brought the food she sat it down and we said thank you and she just kind of grunted but said nothing. The ice machine wasn't working right either.
Service was great! The person at the window made a couple of jokes while we were waiting for food, and my Double Whataburger came out really quickly.
Food taste is good. But I have to scrape the fried layer off the egg overtime. UGH! I wasn't given any creamers for my coffee. I wasnt given a "Jalapeño" cheddar bisquit like I had asked for. It was drive thru and we were a mile away by the time I noticed, wasn't going to turn around.
We often stop at this Whataburger, but today the food and the service were exceptional! Food was hot, fresh, and delicious, and it seemed like the staff were trying hard to get orders out. Enjoyed the music that was playing as well. July 23, 2025
I absolutely love this Whataburger. We come here often, and every time it’s a great experience. The employees are always kind, courteous, and seem to genuinely care about getting your order right. The food is consistently good, fresh, and hits the spot every time. It’s become one of our go-to places, and we’ll definitely keep coming back!
I had a very large order that I placed and picked up in the driveway-thru. Two of the meals were missing when I got home. We called and were told to come back and they would remedy everything. I went back and they went above and beyond to correct the error. SETH was amazing. He is the hero of this meal and the reason for the 5 star review. Thank you, Seth!

Pulled through the drive-thru in my old diesel (read: louder than a rock concert), and I guess only one burger made it through the noise. When my order came out, I mentioned the missing burger—not upset, just explaining. The young lady immediately apologized, and before I could blink, she was back with not just the second burger, but a third as an apology for the mix-up. Totally unnecessary—but incredibly appreciated. It told me two things: 1. This store empowers its employees. 2. The team takes real ownership, even when it’s not their fault (seriously, blame the diesel). 10/10. Will absolutely be a long-time customer. I’ll always support people—and places—that go just a little bit extra. And this team? They went all in. Bravo.
First let me start off with the GREAT. You have an employee named Amanda. We come several times a week and she is just fantastic. Always friendly, helpful and actually cares about the customers and is always hustling. Now with the horrible you have another employee who is the exact opposite of Amanda named Marina. Rude start to finish and acts like we are a bother to spend our $100 a week. If she continues to be there when we come we are going to go elsewhere. Give Amanda a raise and a promotion and get rid of Marina . Does not represent our Texas Treasure the way it should be. Thank you for your time and attention.
Got a sausage, egg and cheese tacquito by drive-through. It was excellent, fresh made and hot! Will go by there again.
Had a manager and team last week who was amazing. Not only did they get my order correct and out quickly. But the manager herself..I think her name was Jessica came by and checked on me and asked if I needed anything like a refill on my coffee or more ketchup. Top notch service for a fast food joint.
Amazing as always!!!! I love that Whataburger is a Texas Treasure even though it was sold and has since expanded, regardless the Willis location has always been amazing with fast service and friendly smiles. They brought back one of my favorites which is the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich and hopefully one day it will make it to their all-time favorite menu.
The late night crew is always super kind and helpful and they always get our orders right ❤️ Edit: Rocky is usually the person in the window when we come to this location and he's always very kind and very polite. My mom and I always comment on how well mannered he is. This is my favorite Whataburger location because they are faster and much much nicer.
I usually have a good experience at Whataburger. The drive-thru is normally fast, especially later in the day, but mornings can get really busy. During breakfast hours I’ve had to wait in line for close to 30 minutes if I’m ordering something bigger. Even with the wait, the staff is always polite and friendly, which makes the experience better. The lunch menu is definitely worth the price. A junior burger looks like a regular one, and a regular burger looks more like an XL—so you always feel like you’re getting more for your money. You can never go wrong with their burgers. Plus, if you ever want something cut in half, they’ll gladly do it for you, which is a nice touch that many other places won’t bother with.
Stopped by with my clients and I had lunch before so I opted out. My client offered me drink but I had water in my he car so I said no thank you and then the cashier was so kind to offer me a drink. As we sat down to wait for the food we talk about the prickly pear advertisment and how we should have tried it. A minute later the manager surprises us each with a sample of the drink. How sweet of him. My clients were so happy and grateful and he let us know he overheard us chatting about it and was sweet enough to let us try. Glad to know there’s still great people around and the best part was the whole staff was sweet and cool.
Wow. What a burger. I walked in ready to redeem my 75¢ burger and despite the line wrapping around the side, I was able to order and receive a fresh, juicy burger almost instantaneously. Amidst the chaos, I was able to see a kind, young gentleman, Cesar, whom was giving it the business as they say. His stand out performance gave my full trust in knowing the establishment prioritizes quality workers who provide the highest level of care and attention. When I received my burger, I took a bite, and gasped. Me coming from abroad and wanting a taste of an American burger, was taken away at the intense flavours I have never known before. The name of the establishment truly lives up its name and highly recommended and visitors to make a stop by for a burger, fries and shake: the American way.
1st time to eat at this location. Eva took our order and brought it to use. She is very friendly and helpful. Her kindness made our travel easier. Tried the chilli Cheeseburger and it was delicious. This location is well kept and maintained. If back in the area we will definitely return.

It's midnight & it's stormin but my husband and I agree this is the best whata experience we've ever had ! The fries were fresh, my strips and his burger were hot and fresh. It was just soo good !

Food was good but the service was extremely slow. I asked the cashier if they had any pies and she assure me they did. After over 20 minutes of waiting, a manager came out to notify me that they had some but, since we waited so long he would suggest getting a refund. He was kind and gave us free cookies to make got it our long wait. The food was good but, the wait sucked.
We go to this Whataburger a couple times a month. I would say 1/4 of the time your order would be wrong, but not too bad (mayo when we said no mayo etc). Service is usually good with cheerful employees. The new Spicy Honey Butter Sauce is great. I usually do the BBQ Chicken Strip sandwich, but sub Honey Butter for the BBQ sauce. The biscuits are of good texture and buttery taste.

I had no issues with this what a burger. I normally do not eat fast food because, well i stopped in there because of friend was hungry and wanted to eat. But all in all the store was clean, the staff was personable and professional.
This location offered high quality food without anything being cold. They didn’t make top marks because their actual restaurant wasn’t being served. They had all staff working food and drive through leaving those of us in the dining room in the lurch. I stood for easily five minutes waiting for the staff to turn up who was scheduled to the front desk. No one came. I finally leaned over and yelled in the kitchen. We love their burgers!!! Great customer service. The breakfast bowl, here's where they go very wrong! Could not eat the eggs that had some kind of white liquid on them. The biscuit was cut in half, and the bottom of the biscuit was placed in the bottom of the bowl so they didn't have to give you much egg. The sausage was terrible! The only thing in the whole bowl that was edible was the hash browns. We had to throw away two bowls of food. $16.00! Never again!!!!!

10/24 - Not sure what's going on but I placed an order 20 minutes or so ago & here we are, 10 minutes beyond my late-time, sitting in line burning diesel. 2059 for the latest time. It's now 2112. What's the deal Whataburger - 3 simple burgers... At 2115 I proceeded inside & was informed that it was onion rings holding us up. Christ, I can cut,batter & fry an onion in 10 - you're supposed to be better than this. It wasnt this bad before Chicago... Fairly solid Whataburger.
Nothing about this visit was very good. Ordered 2 burger meals, no onions.First of all we waited 20 minutes for our meal. then both burgers came piled with onions. So I take one burger back because too many onions, they supposedly remake but guess what, it comes out with a few onions under the tomato. Ever since Whataburger was sold it has gone downhill. We won't be back any time soon. Gonna check out Smalls next.

Love Whataburger but this morning the service was so slow. After 20 minutes I had to ask about my order. The biscuit sandwich was good but the biscuit seemed a little under baked. There were employees eating breakfast and looked to be in a meeting at one of the tables. Maybe they should have got up and helped?!
Been visiting this location for 3 years now and right now the evening shift is not good. I got a #8 tonight which is the double whataburger Jr all the way with cheese large fry and med Dr pepper. Service was slow but the issue was the burger I said all yhe way i got two tomatoes. A spec of what was once lettuce and I kid you not two pieces of chopped onion…. Okay! Don’t get me wrong I love a good burger. However when I come in and the person greets me like I’m being a bother, well this isn’t really ideal. I wanna say I love Whataburger and I'll gladly change my review of this specific Whataburger when I get consistent results I've been going here for a few months and while they always replace my order when it's messed up I can't help but you just please when I drive all the way home just to find them my order is incorrect and it's always the same thing I get a number two with with cheese no onions no pickles add bacon with mayonnaise instead of mustard I wouldn't be as upset this time if they would have just put the bacon on it but it had mustard onions pickles no bacon 😞 it happens like every couple weeks when I go there pricing is good compared to other cities and their lobby is always clean people are friendly I just like my mail made the way I ordered it and what I paid for
I just moved to an area near this location. So I make a morning stop by here daily for breakfast. My order is taken by a nice and friendly employee that is where the good service ends. The same young man forgets my drink everyday...everyday. I have to remind him. That should be the first thing I get. It takes me no less than 9 minutes every morning and that is if I am the only one in line. Never any napkins in the bag. On the bright side the food is as good as any other Whataburger.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy meal with hash rows and coke, I sat in line and only one truck ahead of me, it took them 15 minutes from the time I ordered till I got my order. Noone said sorry about the wait or tried to explain why much less say thanks.

Sssssslllllllllloooooooowwwww. Always. Any day of the week, from 6PM to 12AM, you’re guaranteed to sit a MINIMUM of 10-12 minutes in the drive-thru. Regardless how many or how few vehicles in line - You. Will. Sit. Just tonight: (10:30PM) 5 cars in the parking lot, I’m 4th in the drive-thru line, and it still took 17 minutes to get my single meal order. Ps- Yes, I still go. The food is good. Consider this a PSA
Just wanna say this Whataburger was the worst I’ve ever been in the whole Texas 🤬 I went once for a biscuit and gravy and they gave me biscuit with gravy and like 4 pieces of sausage. Then I went another day to get the good ‘Ol honey chicken biscuit, ordered it thru the app (easy on the honey) so it’ll be ready when I got there and when I arrived and not sure if they did it on purpose, but they gave me honey sauce with a hint of chicken biscuit. 🧐
Valerie took my order at the window, and I made sure to confirm it with her twice. I even asked her to repeat it back to me. When she gave me the total, I realized something was off because my usual order is more expensive. I asked if the order was correct and mentioned that I had requested a triple, not a regular. At that point, she rolled her eyes, scoffed, and said, “You wanted the triple?” before abruptly shutting the window. A few minutes later, she reopened it and gave me the correct total, but the interaction was unfriendly.
I love Whataburger. The service at the Willis whataburger sucks. The lady that brought the food out, just threw the tray on the table had to ask for ketchup and she act like it was an inconvenience.
Don't go to this location unless you want to wait 20+ minutes in line for you food just for the order to be wrong. It's not even rush hour yet and they are already behind. This seems to be a continuous thing at this location not just an accident here and there. Everyone has their off days theirs just happens every day it seems
Can't complain about the food it's amazing as always. But the customer service isn't up to par. Don't go when the manager isn't there; it's usually a bunch of young kids goofing off instead of working.
Food was fine. Customer service, on the other hand was beyonddddd poor. Especially coming from a so-called ‘Team Leader’ (Shelby) not leading anybody with that attitude and face more like dragging the whole establishment down. Really pitiful, do better! Or don’t go into work at all! All we wanted was some extra ketchup (we only got 1) for our 5 burgers, never asked for the side of attitude! (Sorry honey, but you will be called out. (Service-Based): This review is entirely based on the service I received. I am very upset and completely outraged. The woman at the front counter—an older lady, likely in her 60s or 70s—was extremely rude, impatient, and unprofessional. I cannot emphasize this enough. I’m genuinely disappointed, especially because speaking to a manager would likely make no difference; they rarely address employee behavior and often take the employee’s side instead. Her rudeness made it very difficult to enjoy the atmosphere or my experience at Whataburger. Stay clear of Eva—her attitude reflects poorly on the establishment. The food was unbelievable. However, after all the rudeness I experienced during service, my food ended up being cold by the time I was served. I went to speak with the manager, and while I understand they were busy, that does not excuse the rudeness I encountered. This has been the worst Whataburger experience I have ever had. I will be personally contacting the company regarding this matter.
My husband and I grab Whataburger about three times a week, but for the past month our orders have been consistently wrong or missing items. I ordered through the app, a triple meat burger with cheese and a patty melt. The burger came out with no cheese. I ran inside and the gentleman handed me 1 slice of cheese to place on the burger myself. Both my husband and I felt sick after eating and I've got a stomach of steel. Will not be going back to the Willis location. I'd rather drive for the better service at the Huntsville location. The Huntsville location messed up on my order, but they went above and beyond what I expected to make it right.
Stood in the lobby with 3 groups of people already taken care of for 5 minutes. The shirt leader on duty literally looked at us didn't say anything and turned right back around. Three other team members looked our way and quickly looked away. Not one time did anyone say we will be right with you. They ignore us until I loudly asked is someone going to acknowledge the customers in the lobby. Then here comes Kitty the only employee working the front who was making shakes for 2 people standing to the side waiting on their order. She instantly apologized but it still didn't make up for the blatant disregard by the other 4 employees(including the manager on duty named Rocky) FYI Jose(GM)he isn't manager material and if you think he is maybe you should reevaluate what is management material. Customer Service is the number one most important thing in any service industry. He has NONE! This was definitely the last straw for me at this location. I will now only go to the 105 location where Doug and Kevin manage. They train ALL their employees to acknowledge the customers and let them know someone will be right with you. If you are thinking about eating at the Willis location, drive a little further up the road to 105 and Doug and Kevin will take care of you.
pulled up at 11:03 and waited at the drive thru box for 5 minutes before being told "what do you want". i proceeded to tell the girl i wanted breakfast and she said they weren't serving it. I pull around, park and do a mobile order. pull back into the drive thru box and was again asked "what do you want". i told them i had an order and pulled up to the window. no one said anything to me and they just handed me a bag. I get home 20 minutes away just to bite into my burrito and it be completely wrong! it's sausage when i ordered potato. I called to ask if there was anything they could do and was told "we don't do refunds" and she hung up on me. truly a horrible experience and i won't be returning to this location.
Will not try eating here again at Willis, Tx location, 1st off it was not busy. We were totally dismissed at Window, the guy got the order totally wrong only half paying attention and did not even ask if we were done ordering rung us up, then tried to charge us for stuff we ordered due to him not paying attention,so we got the money back and left. Waited in line for 35 minutes, once we finally got to the window the guy says the ice cream machine for shakes is down. You think they would just come out and say something rather than have us sit there for no reason. One year later I am thrilled to update my review with one star less. My first time eating at this place and let me say I was disappointed not because of the food but because the managers at this place speak to their employees horribly. I understand the importance of getting our food but there are better ways to treat your employees. I was just shocked I don't know the name of the manager but someone should talk to the GM.
Sitting here waiting for my food to come out. I sat at the intercom for about 5 minutes while a line formed behind me. I yelled, "hello" for a good while before giving up and pulling forward. I went to the menu and asked if they could actually take my order. The guy grabbed someone else to take my order. He took my order for 2 burgers with meals and then took my card and charged me for the meals. After giving me my receipt he tells me I will have to wait a while since I didn't wait in line. I told him I didn't jump the line and that they did not take my order so I moved up. He could have given me a heads up that it would be about a 10 minute wait for my food. I would have taken my money elsewhere. They gave us our drinks at least and I had ordered a root beer. It had zero syrup in it and tasted like iced salt water. I am very let down by this crew.

Came here around 2:30 to pick up an order I placed on the app. The lady that finally came up to assist me, named Krystal, was extremely rude. Had a horrible attitude and just seemed annoyed by anyone asking her anything. The store was very dirty. It smelt like dirty toilet water over by the drink fountain station and no one seemed happy to be there. First and last time coming here. What’s sad is I love Whataburger and go there at least once a week. Now that my job is up here in Willis, I was excited to try it out. Guess I will have to go out of my way to go to another location because this one is that bad.
Only one cashier and a considerable line so that was slow. We did not get the complete order we paid for (1 burger instead of the 2 like the ticked said). We were pressed for time and back on the road before we realized this. Won’t stop there again.
Currently waiting in line for half an hour with no one else in the drive through for 2 toquitos. Drive through attendant got butt hurt when i told her she got my drink wrong. This happens daily if you stop in the morning. All other shifts are great!
If you all are into the coldest fries with your burger this is the spot right here, they never fail to give me cold stale fries. Ty Whataburger Willis
Honestly hate this location. Always bad quality. Shakes are always so thick it's impossible to drink and never mixed well. Constantly messing up items too. When I questioned them about it they were rude and laughed. I asked to be remade.. they took them back inside and eventually came back out with the same ones and said they were fine to them.. couldn't believe it bad service. Got a refund.
Just placed order from them, did not give me all the food I paid for, no excuses
Krystal the lady who takes your order is very disrespectful. Not sure why shes on the front line with customer service. But thats driving customers away..
I ordered a cheeseburger with no pickles. I had probably 12 pickles on my burger when I received it. Ran by horrible punk kids.
45 min to get two tacos. This is a consistent issue with this location and treated as normal.
Service was great, atmosphere was happy and free flowing. The pancakes on the other hand had a strong flour taste to them. And I know there pancakes there made with flour but that was all I could taste.
I’ve been coming to this Whataburger for a while, and the atmosphere has completely changed and not in a good way. Fantasia used to work here, and she ALWAYS made the vibe amazing. The dining room felt welcoming, organized, and positive when she was on shift. You could genuinely feel the difference in energy when she was working. Tonight I went in and specifically asked if Fantasia was there because I actually enjoy coming when she’s on shift only to find out she was let go. After seeing how the place ran tonight, I honestly think management made a huge mistake. The atmosphere was chaotic, loud, and uncomfortable. Employees were yelling across the kitchen, tables were messy, and it just felt tense and unorganized. It’s disappointing to see such a noticeable drop in quality and environment. Fantasia brought something special to this location, and it definitely shows that she’s gone. I hope management rethinks their decisions because the vibe tonight was a mess.
Cane to get a honey butter chicken biscuit w/ a coupon I had. An employee or manager there not sure what she was was rude and made my order complicated. There was hardly any honey butter. And they got my order wrong. Drive off before checking the bag unfortunately and items were missing. The worst part was her attitude, terrible service. I don’t recommend ordering from this location, visit a whataburger at a different exit.
Completely ignored my order and added no extra syrup to my strawberry shake. The individual taking my order didn’t even humor me by repeating it back. This occurred February 19 2026 at around 9:06 PM the girl sounded like she would rather be anywhere else. Not a good look ignoring customers orders.
They messed up my order, and only put a half of a piece of bacon when I am paying for extra bacon, take a look at the picture to see what the “extra” bacon I paid $1.79 was. The guy making food is filthy, and looks like he works at an oil change shop, his orange uniform shirt was black on the front. When I ordered in the drive through, they didn’t bother to tell me their system was updating, so I had to sit at the window for way too long, and if you look at my pictures you can see they haven’t even wiped the counter where coke is spilled. I hope I don’t get sick from their lack of hygiene
I use to go to this location, but after hearing what they did to my family’s favorite cashier we will be going to other locations. Eva always made it a great experience for my family and others when in the location. I can’t believe yall got rid of her.
Food was fine but they had us in the second drive thru lane waiting for drinks for 20 min while the primary line was moving. They said someone walked out but dang... you didn't hear us honking?
