Opinions de Coco Halal-Grill Williston Park
I came all the way from Long Island City to try this halal food restaurant. To my surprise, it did not disappoint. I tried the zinger burger and every bite was finger lickin’ good. My recommendation will definitely be the zinger burger! You have to try it if you get the chance. I have tried many halal food restaurants and I have got to say this one comes in my top 5 list! Amazing, keep up the good quality and quantity.
There's not much to see inside the restaurant, and there only two tables so it's more of a take out place than a sit down. Had the mix platter which pleasantly came with seasoned french fries, chicken tenders, and a side of regular fries. Overall, the food was good and I would go back for more and even try their shawarma, which they didn't have any when I visited. Also, I'm not a huge fan of spicely stufd but their green sauce is really awesome. It's got a consistency of chimichurri, but with a kick. Definitely need to try that if you go to his place. Pricing was on par for other halal places I've tried so I felt I got my money's worth. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely come back.
Honestly, one of the best halal food restaurants in NYC! The food is organic and healthy, you can tell just by tasting it how fresh it is. It’s hard to find such great tasting, but also healthy and organic food in NYC that is halal. Thank you for taking such good care of price, quantity, and quality. I ordered the double cheeseburger combo.
Mom and daughter store. Tried chicken Shawarma and it tasted delicious. Hot milk tea was great too. Good halal food, would love to come back soon.
Variety of delicious food. I love there Zinger Burger and Paratha with Anda Payaz (egg and veggies) which was prepared on request. It literally reminds me of my mom hands food.
I got zinger burger as per reviews and it was the best I had so far.
Simply the best chicken over rice i’ve had so far. Most definitely going back and trying something else from the menu.

Just tried Halal Cooco's Den and I have to say the food was amazing. It's clear that they care about providing some high quality food and great prices. I had a sandwich from them and not only was the sandwich filling but it tasted really good! Furthermore, the staff that works there are all really kind and friendly and willing to help explain the different items on their menu if you ask, which is always great. The actual dining area and interior looks all new and super clean. Cannot say enough good things about this place, will be back to explore the variety of items on their menu. 10/10 Try this spot out, you won't be disappointed!
The food is incredible. My family and I have been trying new dishes each time we get their takeout, and we've enjoyed every single one! The staff is also so kind; we love everything about it. Definitely a go-to.
Just tried this place out tonight. Ordered a mix shawarma, a chicken shawarma and falafel. I didn't expect much from this place, since it was dead and was 1 lady working in the whole place. I was so surprised, the food was so fresh and the shawarma was burrito size. The taste was really good, I only wish I ask for some hot sauce on the side. The falafel was very crispy. Falafel to me are usually dry as he'll, but they give you a super thick white sauce (like cream cheese consistency). Which made the falafel tasted very moist. I didn't take any pics of the food, because I wasn't expecting much. Going back tomorrow to try the chicken biryani, since they only sell that on sat & sun.
This was my first time coming here as a suggestion from a friend. but at that time was googling for some desi chai happened to be the same restaurant that my friend suggested once. Very comfortable environment. When i was searching for halal food and some chai in the area didn't even know there was a Desi Pakistani restaurant. Cooco's Den .Ordered an Aloo paratha with chai eventhough it was almost the lunch time was really hungry. the owner was very nice...still made me a delicious home made paratha along with a karak chai it was amazing! 👏 Thank you!! Definitely will be coming back 😇
Loved the food. The meat for the burger was juicy. The chicken nuggets were really good, moist and large in size. The seasoned fries were fresh and crispy. Highly recommend!!

Service & Staff - Drove 25 mins to get to this restaurant because @halalguide posted about this small business. And I am all here to support small business. Upon entering the restaurant, all the proper tables were taken by the owner’s family/friends. (I believe it to be the owner but I am not sure bc she took our order). Her relatives were constantly giving me and my friend dirty looks, we tried to look away but they kept staring into our souls. And we could literally hear them talk about us. We were not asked whether we want the food stay or to go. Of course as the tables were occupied by their own family/friends. The lady who took our order, her behavior was rude and cold. Food - The food was good. Chicken shawarma was excellent but I think there could be more seasoning. Both cheese and seasoned fries were great. I would definitely go back to this restaurant to support our community but the customer service really needs a lot of work.

I always love supporting new businesses. My first experience a few weeks ago was underwhelming. The food was average and my salad was wilted which isn't what you would expect from a new establishment trying to make a good first impression. I may eventually give them a 2nd chance and update the review ***Update: 2nd visit was still average but not great, but 4 stars for service and a hard working owner. Maybe the menu is too big and I'm not ordering their best dishes. I'll give it one more shot -- please recommend your best and freshest food of the day

Food wasn't that great. Rice was super thin not like that nice thick basmati rice you get from your typical halal place. small portion. didn't taste great to me.

The worst chicken and rice platter I’ve ever had in my life…chicken was dry as hell, and no flavor, white rice again bland….and not enough white sauce…I would not recommend. Maybe other items are better. Total waste of money.
The food I received is not/was not chicken shawarma! I was served white basmati rice, with tons of white sauce and hummus....The mix shawarma was chicken and rice, chicken and lamb....It was not good, and I got served white rice!!! Which let's you know it's not authentic at all!!!.....Word of advice, just serve chi ken and rice and stop letting people know you do shawarma because it is not shawarma your are serving and selling!!!! When walking into your restaurant, it says we serve Pakistani food! So right then and there, it's not authetic°°°°°°! Wasted 100 bucks!!!!!!!!

I ordered a Cheese Burger ( Beef). I was given a burger with lamb gyro strips. I would have just appreciated if they told me that they didnt have beef instead of giving something different. Also the lamb strips were not even fresh. It was very dry like days old. Will not go back.
Reviews are all fake. This place is straight nasty. Food is not presentable. Chicken is definitely old. It’s just bland. Worse than an average street cart. Many better options nearby I got chicken platter. Sauces aren’t great either. Never going back
I ordered a chicken over rice. Only able to eat a few spoons. The chicken was overcooked. Rice was like so hard felt like its been there form yesterday. Not the experience I was expecting after seeing the reviews
