I have had better Customer Service at the Starbucks on City Drive & Chapman. At times it can be busy but I rather have my order correct than for them to hurry.
Not enough parking if you mind walking a bit. Very well maintained including the restrooms. Barrista's are very friendly and helpful.

The baristas are courteous and really nice! The shop is left nice and open so people can get their orders without getting cramped.

This is currently my favorite location compared to my other experiences in the area. All the baristas inside are very friendly and do their best to work hard to make it perfect and don't get frustrated at customers during busier wait times. My drink always taste great, it's always consistent and it's a nice location even though it's only in-store. I also appreciated that the baristas remembered my name coming back as a regular and made my day special.
I was here at 5:30 in the morning on my way to a long ICU shift and the barista was so delightful. I didn’t catch their name but they were very bubbly and had red hair. They spouted off several coffee/tea puns and it really brightened my whole morning. The coffee was great too. Everything is difficult right now and these small interactions make a world of difference.
This is a convenient location for many with a large selection of food, snacks and perfectly prepared drinks. It is next to hotel, Heath center and major transit area. The clientele seems to pick up and go with mobile orders or from a long line that moves extremely quick. The location is very busy but efficient. I really enjoyed the staff here and the way they genuinely greeted everyone. The staff does tend to work behind the bar keeping the in and out customers happy while the tables, floors and other areas don’t get spot cleaned often. This could be quickly remedied if people would just clean up after themselves. After the rush dies down they do take the time to throughly clean and care for the facility.
The staff is so friendly!!! They go out of their way to make sure you leave with a smile, in addition to your caffeine. When, in these troubled times, you go places and see such a lack of motivation, these folks make me happy every time. The coffee of course is fantastic too.
I've always had great service! They're always efficient even during the crazy holiday season with the free cup weekends. (It gets crazy but they keep hustling!) And if something goes haywire, they always have some service solutions! It's why I keep going back!
I never go to Starbucks and order, so happens I had to take a family member to the hospital and I really needed coffee. I go into Starbucks and place my order and the Barista by the name of Michael starts singing my name!!!! And he asked if ‘d ever heard that song and it reminded me when my dad use to sing it to me all the time. Micheal’s custom service skills are beyond impressive. I’ve worked in the customer service industry for over 18 years + and he has been the best I’ve experienced going into a Starbucks. If I’m ever near there again I’ll definitely pop in just to say hi to Micheal.
I love coming here. I had the best experience with the three baristas on today. Every second I was in there, it was apparent that my experience was important to all of the baristas individually, and even went as far as to offer me a recovery certificate for the wait. It's so refreshing to experience outstanding customer service at a starbucks. Thank you!
The people here were very nice & fast. And there's a guard at the outside that opened the door for every person , was very kind 😊
These 5 stars goes to Michael who always helps me start my morning great ! His awesome coffee slangs and comments are the best !!! Every time i come for my morning coffee fix he brings a smile to my face ! You can tell he cares for his job and the people that shop here ! Have a grande is my favorite !!!!
Literally ... The best Starbucks Ever!!! I've been coming here for several years now on and off either before work in the am or on the weekends morning time and they've been the most consistent Starbucks reguarding how they make my/my families drinks as well as their amazing customer service. I think management needs to give everyone in this store a raise / the kudos they deserve because they are all such kind people! Seriously, I can't say enough great things about the staff at this store. They are wonderful and all do one hell of a job! Thank you *$ staff for being so fricken awesome!!!!
I've travelled/lived globally and this is still my favorite Starbucks. They always get me and my partner's drink correct. Lovely location, even when they're busy the barista's make this the third place. I really love this store. Also shout-out to Chris with the green hair, he's the sweetest and always recognizes me

This is best starbucks i’ve ever come to. I literally love everything about this location because of how above and beyond they go every single time. the staff here is absolutely AMAZING. The barista’s make the drinks PERFECT every single time without missing, the customer service is 10/10- so so friendly, and overall very clean and nice. German and Tasha are the absolute sweetest staff members ever. Every time I come, they greet us by name and remember our orders. It feels so genuine & kind— they make every other starbucks location look bad! I could honestly go on & on— come to this starbucks over any other. they’re the best.

Oh my God, I don’t know where to start!! I’ll go off base how I went up to the cashier showing her a screenshot of a TikTok that I had thought the drink would be appealing and a big pick me up for the start of my day. I wasn’t sure what I was ordering, so it was a huge “she doesn’t even go here” moment and obviously I don’t go to Starbucks often 😭. I normally make my coffee at home. As in I go to sprouts, pick up a cold brew and a creamer, BOOM thats it. Pretty simple. OR once in a while at my community college theres a small mom and pop shop around the corner to grab an iced coffee. This was different. This was something that I needed quickly and on the spot. I was at my bank, there was Starbucks, so I went for it! Cashier was so sweet, she was amazing with me! She did help me! I shared with her the screenshots off TikTok, but I think I didn’t know what I was looking forward to when I saw the coffee made and I hesitated for a moment when I receive my coffee. Then I spoke up, however I was anxious and worrying, because I wasn’t so sure if I can talk about how I didn’t like my coffee lol if that makes sense to anybody out there? Anyways, these two girls were so sweet!!! One of them immediately jumped in and asked me how I like my coffee. When I explained in the best description as possible she immediately started making my coffee. I had told her I would definitely like to pay off the difference because it was pretty busy, and she took the time to make a new drink for me!! Her coworker was also so kind as well to hear me out and announce that everything would be fine. That it’s not a big deal. This gave me a whole new perspective over how they’re so used to the rush fast pace, so I give them kudos for their job positions that they’re in. Our baristas due deserve that recognition! Especially with how busy it was that morning. I hope with the time stamp that I share on this and the date I’m really hoping that the store manager will see and announce and ask who was working on this day, Monday 18 at 9:09AM and if it helps for my description, I was wearing a long sleeve blue corridor, an Aries crop top with the graphic print saying “Snaaaacks” and an Aries blue leggings, ans a knock off of Birkenstock sandals lol those girlies were completely amazing!! All three of them!! The cashier who was genuinely helping me out which I didn’t even know what I was asking for. The same goes for the last two ladies that were so kind to take their time to make my coffee, while being busy, having to make other guests drinks! I felt so out of place and I also felt slightly pressured, but I hope I wasn’t pressuring them! They were both so reassuring to me and what they offered me was so good. It might be basic to some, but to me it’s a huge thank you for taking the time out of your busy moment to make something for me! I am so happy with how it turned out. I do recommend this place for their customer service. That was huge, because normally I just take my drink and go home with my tail between my legs. They made my experience there (that’s not often lol) so worth it!!! Thank you ladies!! I pray you all have a blessed day and the day treats you beautifully as you all have treated me!!!

I’ve been hunting for the SB x Snoopy cup for awhile but it has been sold out weeks ago. Luckily while picking up my drink at this SB location, German the barista noticed me dressing in full Snoopy gears and asked if I were looking for the Snoopy cup (💯 for customers service and attention to details) then he went to back and brought out the last one for me. Can’t thank him enough!! You made my day 💖 SB is so lucky to have a good employee like German!!
One of the store barista, German, noticed us wearing Snoopy clothes and checking out the mugs area. He asked us if we are looking for the Snoopy collaboration and he proceeded to offer us the last 2 items at the store. Super nice and friendly. Thank you so much German! Good place, went back and they were stingy with the low fat milk. Refused to give more for my tea. Took it off my list. Decided to try again and this time the baristas were much friendlier and helpful.
Majority of workers are friendly with the exception of an tall short hair women. In one occasion, I got an iced coffee and asked for extra milk and she wanted to charge me for a small milk, which was ridiculous .
Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. They go out of their way to remember your name and regular order and very open to feedbacm. The manager travis consistently jumps in to help out as needed.
Everything is on par with the Starbucks brand. However, the morning rush hour, though refreshingly vibrant, can take a while to get your order if you don't phone ahead.

It was not at all crowded because there were only 2 baristas working when we arrived at 5:30 p.m. The staff was excellent and courteous, and the service was quick. The absence of a drive-through entrance was the only drawback.
No drive through at this location, curious in light of the freeway adjacent location. Small interior, hard to imagine sitting down at this location or sitting outside on the shadeless patio. Easy parking, especially at 530 am, which is when I would go to a Starbucks like this one.
Open at 4:30AM during the week! There's usually a wait. Near freeway and across the street from UCI Health so that means they are popular and busy. As you pull in if you don't see parking to your left, drive straight in and park in the giant Best Buy lot. The few tight spaces in front of Starbucks is not worth it in high traffic times. You've been warned so do what I say and get your Starbucks.
Stopped in to continue hanging with friends got a few drinks. The baristas are friendly the location was clean. I asked for a double blended frap and it came out perfectly. We stayed to chat for a bit and used the restroom which was clean. Not a ton of inside seating but there were several outside available. After being there a while I asked for a venti water and was told they could only give out grandes because they been dropping cups that day. Sounds like a fib to me so that slightly soured the experience but whatever I could at least get more water. Overall I'd recommend this as a good Starbucks to stop into.
I like Starbucks but this location has no easy way to pop in without going into the parking structure and having to find parking. There also used to make a lot of transients in the area which made you feel unsafe, but I think they are trying to clean that up.

Way to crowded, always due to UCI being so close. I'd drive a couple more minutes to get my coffee faster. Even the so orders take forever!
One lady working, at approximately 6:20pm on a Wednesday. She was nice and the coffee tasted just like it always does, par.
The employees there are very nice; however, they messed up on one of my orders, gave me hot milk instead of hot chocolate and charged me for hot chocolate. My other drink was okay though.
Mobile orders—My drink was good and on time. Employees were friendly and the barista addressed me promptly at mobile pick up. 3 stars because the store is dirty. There were 6 employees and the bathroom was out of toilet sheets and TP.
It's Starbucks. This one in particular always had a line and not the cleanest. Whether it's 9am or 7pm you'll always have a bit of a wait. The staff is always friendly but can be a little slow. I recommend using the Starbucks app and order ahead of time.

Ambience ok...service good. However, Starbucks needs to stop it with the sappy, slow, moody, down right bad music!!! Relaxing music is one thing, but music that drags things down is not the way to go. It's a rare when I find a Starbucks with more relaxing but POSITIVE music with good sound and frequency.
Normally, pretty good, but really need to be trained in their products. I asked for a gingerbread cookie and the cashier insisted that all they had was a gingerbread loaf, even though the cookies are displayed in the case. When I pointed it out, they insisted that it was a sugar cookie...
Mobile orders: I received a good, timely drink. At mobile pick up, the staff was cordial, and the barista spoke to me promptly. The store is filthy, earning only three stars. There were 6 employees and there were no toilet paper or TP in the lavatory.
You pay for extra Vanilla in a Frapacinno and its flat taste lime milk and ice 3time this has happened. Please retrain your worker or pay more attention to the details
Very crowed when I went took about 35 minutes for me to just order something and get through the line. Other than that it is a great short distance place from my job.
I come here at times typically if I'm coming home from work just because its on the way if not i wouldn't stop here, but almost every time I do they always get one of my drinks wrong its always on my "white hot chocolate " I just got one and it taste like it was just warmed milk smh.

Bathroom is always closed. Tables are not always clean. Food is good and so are beverages. If you are going in and out. This location might be alright for you. If you plan to stay bring a jacket, it is always cold inside.
Customer service in drive through is horrible. No offer of straws or napkins. They shut window at front of you when you trying to ask something.
This starbucks is great and all but I feel the baristas here.... can get distracted pretty easily. Don't expect them to go that extra mile with you all the time. Other than that my pink drink was OK.
Super crammed location, no seats at all, only about 10 costumers, maybe less and there was no space. Insanely understaffed, two workers with only one making drinks. Waited about 10 minutes for a strawberry acai and had to leave before recieving my drink because I had somewhere to be. Hire more workers.

Most of the starbucks I have been to have friendly staffs, good seatings with charging outlets, and pleasant setting. This isn't one of the real starbucks. This is a faked stores with none of those attributes! They will probably get sued soon for faking the starbucks brand.

Ethan R is always very rude and unprofessional when I go in there and this time I asked for sugar and tossed it at me when I had my hand out. (Doesn’t know how to make the drinks)
The barista at the register was extremely rude. She got my sister's order wrong and was super snappy towards my family and I when we were ordering. As I asked her some simple modifications for my drink like "no sugar" she just rolled her eyes. She just made me really confused and asked me questions about the recipe when I have never been asked those questions before. I will not return to this location.
Stayed across the street. Corporate needs to step in and train these goons again. Three days in a row, they made my wife’s drink wrong. No special instructions or anything…just a caramel macchiato…and it was trash all 3 days.
Made a mobile order and walked in at time of pickup. Checked the pickup area for my drink and it wasn't out. Clerk at the register asked if I was picking up a mobile order. I said yes and was asked to stand on the spots against the window. Multiple signs in the store say the Same, so I'm waiting. Barista clears two orders before me and three after me. After 12 minutes they decide to ask me why I'm waiting......for a mobile order? Again I say yes, but now they ask for my name. Miraculously my drink was sitting ready on the counter the whole time. Only I was made to wait and not attended. Never ordering from this store again.
Workers wouldn’t give me a cup of water :( It’s water?? Why would I have to make a separate purchase in order to get a cup of water? No other location does this. In fact, no restaurant/ cafe that I have ever been to charges for a glass of water.
It was really busy but still doesn’t explain why I got my order after 4 people who placed their order after me. When I went to ask the barista he started to argue with me. He was so rude. Still had to wait several minutes to get my order while 2 other people got theirs. When I finally got it my order was wrong. They had to remake. I heard the baristas talking they purposefully got my order wrong.
We were rudely told that they're "cafe orders only". Nobody in the store knew what that meant. Apparently they were only accepting online orders this morning. Everyone's app was refusing their orders, and most people left annoyed and without their coffee. A small scribbled sign on the door explained this had something to do with construction in the store. If you can't provide a service to the customers standing in front of you, then close the store.
I hope the management of this Starbucks will address the problem of homeless people sitting around in the store. The store is becoming a regular habitats for homeless people and it really bothers a lot of customers. I have no problems if they are also customers of Starbucks and they are nice and mindful. But they are not. They brought with them their tons of bags and belongings, and they solicited the customers. This problem will get worse if nothing is being done. And it definitely tarnish the image of this store.
Ordered triple expresso with 2 Splenda. Well, minus the Splenda...there's none. And no pieces to go into the Strawberry Acai drink. Everything was fine up until we got embarrassed for being up on the counter to receive our drinks. We were told that we were blocking the mobile orders, which nothing specified that, but TBH they could've told us that when we first walked over there and not waited until more people came in to yell it out in front of everyone. We would've appreciated it we were talked to nicely. We would've of happily moved out of the way.
Not a drive through. Why are so many Starbucks locations listed as drives throughs? It’s like they’re luring customers who will give up and just go inside when they get there. Seems shady to me.
I frequent this store because I am a glutton for punishment. The workers here seem to be doing their best but this store has a management problem. It’s usually not very clean, homeless people in the restrooms all the time and a general feeling of apathy every time I go to this specific location. Every time I buy espresso at this store, I always leave telling myself that I’m never coming back. Because of its location I purchase espresso at least 3 times a week from this exact store and I am seriously considering never going to this particular starbucks again. There is always a bottleneck. Either at the register or making drinks. I’ve watched a manager pull a drink maker from the drink making area when there were only 2 workers, a line of 5 at the register and a line of another 5 waiting for drinks...to restock the cold case, that was pretty full. Avoid if possible.
This Starbucks was a mess from placing our order wrong, and having to get back in line to get refunded for something we didn't need. I think the cashier wasn't having a good day & the barista didn't give us the correct cup size for our drink! I'll never go back here! 😣👎🏼👎🏼
Came for happy hour. They would not believe my Starbucks message saying the code was already loaded onto my card. Eventhough they all have the code themselves, they wanted me to tell them the 4 digit code number. I tried to explain to them to just scan my barcode on my phone and it would reflect the 2 for 1. They refused. I went to my normal Starbucks and used my phone and voila! No problem. Don't know why this place didn't want to do it but if this happens at happy hour today and in the future, there will be some angry customers.
First of all no cold brew, no nitro cold brew, so the barista suggested a drink which i accept. I been Waiting for 5mins for my drink, and there are alot of drinks on the counter and the guy that ordered after me already got his drink, so I ask if any of those drinks on the counter is mine, and this haley barista on a rude tone of voice says, no thats not yours! And we will tell you if yours is ready.. without checking anything. Such a nice attitude.
I purchased $26 ish food and drinks yesterday(3/25/2023) at this Starbucks and had a really horrible experience. The staff were so mean and rude. Since the cashier was not familiar with the credit card machine , he did not immediately let me know my card didn't go through as I removed my card too quickly. It was just a minor issue , all they had to do was that telling me what happened politely. However...While I stayed in the waiting area waiting for my drinks , another staff just shouted my name so loudly and yelled "the transaction did not go through!!" While I heard it , well..everyone there heard it as well , I felt severely disrespected . The way they treated me makes it seem like I can't even afford a $26 drinks and food but the reality is that I make a six-figure salary . The management should take some time to investigate who were the individuals working at this store yesterday and then take disciplinary action against them for their disrespectful and rude behavior towards customers. I'll also reach out to the Starbucks complaint department regarding this . I really don't want any other customers to go through what I experienced - being treated so disrespectfully for no reason on what should have been a lovely weekend and end up got ruined entirely.
Maybe it’s because we came close to closing time but the barista was rude. Barely greeted us and then continued talking to her coworker so we’re waiting for her to finish talking and then she looked at us as if we weren’t the ones ready. I was having an issue with the Starbucks app and she wasn’t nice about it and when my daughters sandwich was ready she just slammed it on the counter and said “here you go” and walked away. Definitely my last time going there

The barista that made my drink was so rude. Didn’t think he’d have such an issue with me politely asking for my drink to be remade since it had way too much caramel. Sad that people like this work at such a big chain. If I’m gonna be paying almost $7 for a drink I expect it to at least be made to my liking.. and to top it off I just ended up leaving with the drink since I didn’t want to ask a second time for it to be remade. Really upsetting. Won’t be coming back to this location.
I went to order today and the barista running the cash register seemed kind of rude and disinterested. I politely told him I had a coupon I could use, but was essentially ignored. I didn’t realize he hadn’t used it all because I was given no receipt and I assumed the prices for drinks went up, until I saw I still had the coupon.
I believer her name was Hailey- she was so rude! I order over $50 worth of food and drinks and asked for a bag for my drinks since I was walking back to the hospital nearby. I was very polite and said I’m sorry i don’t mean to make your job harder and thank you for putting my drinks in the bag and she said “well it does”. I asked if she was a manager and she wasn’t. I understand it’s not always easy to be accommodating but there was no one else in there but me. Just disgusting and rude.
