I work in Vacaville, decided to try their taco truck. Their motto does not lie, “Best Tacos In Town”. Do yourself a favor, and give them a try!! Great food and excellent customer service.

This place is not playing around with their super burrito. I got it wet with adobada and it was made with mostly meat inside. Be prepared to be rolled home, as it is easily 2 meals. But it was absolutely delicious; so spicy and tangy. Their patio is absolutely awesome, and feels like you're sitting in a rainforest

They have amazing staff, amazing food and not mention they make you feel at home. And not to mention the authenticity of the food. My kids love going with me because the staff will talk to them and entertain them while I order and pay. My son has never stopped talking about the "pretty girls" the waitresses lol since.

We came to Winters for Youth Day. The festival was pretty crowded, so we went to Chuy's for lunch. I had been there before and remembered the food was good. It was packed as you could imagine. Not very organized. I think they were overwhelmed. We eventually sat down at a table when some folks got up. We got some chips and salsa and then added guacamole. It was huge amount and so good. I got a tostada and it was yummy. My girlfriend got tacos and her husband got beef enchilada. All good.

Never been here before and was expecting the best based on the reviews. Hubby ordered a burrito and their fajitas.... WOW! We love Mexican food and this is definitely going to be a return for us. So sad we had to take to go but my husband even mentioned the welcoming environment and we will make sure we come back again. Excellent food and it was ready much quicker than expected. Sorry, no photo, it was pitch black in our truck and we ate our food quicker than ever. Yummmm

We held a small private dinner on 10/29 and it was so nice. Everything was clean, great food and service was the best. Staff were so patient and happy to help. We love Chuys & now our family does too!

Great mexican food. Ordered a large order and everything was perfect except my burrito but it still tasted amazing. I ordered chicken and got steak so no biggie. The shrimp soup was so good. I would recommend anything from there honestly

Nice spot. Sit down resturant. Good tamales and huge nachos. Friends had fajitas and were happy, but all 3 meats came mixed with peppers. Usually they are separate piles of each meat. But it was good, well seasoned. Would go again.

The food is delicious, perfectly prepared, and the portions are generous. The environment is comfortable, and very clean. We highly recommend this place and look forward to returning with friends and family.

Good food, good portions and reasonable prices. Shared the tasty shrimp ceviche with our chips (comes as a tostada). They charge for chips and salsa but that seems to be the trend now. Platillos plate had generous portion of shrimp and thin steak and your choice of flour or corn tortillas. Wife liked the chili rellenos (a la carte < $6!) and we both loved the agave wine served like a margarita but different. Look for their specials. Friday special was super burrito < $10! Atmosphere is dark and cozy.

It is the Standard everybody else is compared to, even the taco stands of L.A. do not really compare with authenticity of Mexican flavors you will experience at Chuy's. The burritos (a.k.a. "Tacos", mi Madre' corrects me.) are unique and just taste better. Can't explain why. They are just better. Chuy's does Mexican food the way we like. Salsa and Chips are great too. I have included a pic of the salsa bar available to patrons. My wife and I just shared Nachos, Carnitas, Beer and Horchata, $23 and Yummy.

If you're looking for great homestyle Mexican food plates, you will find it at Chuy's in the town of Winters, CA!! Amazing portions, and very generous on their chips and salsa! You will definitely need your appetite for this place. Everything is served hot! If you follow me on my reviews, I like my food hot, temp wise! Good value for what you get! From chopped up steaks with veg or onions, birria or Chile verde and pork! We will be back!

A nice little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Their fajitas plates are great and you can't go wrong with the soft tacos and quesabirrias with plenty of salsas and like slices at the salsa bar to choose from. The Churros with ice cream is a great dessert to share for something sweet.

Very reasonably-priced Mexican food and taste great. Looks expensive from the outside. Don't be fooled and come on in and enjoy. I use to go to the taqueria near the Ace hardware store but this place is way much better food and price.

Back patio was great: excellent atmosphere and very generous portions. The carnitas torta was a standout. We’ll be back!

Their carnitas burritos barely have any carnitas. They're like 70% Beans, 20% rice, and 10% carnitas. Unfortunately, this has been the case for every carnitas burrito I've ordered over the past couple of months (~10 burritos). Good carnitas, bad value.

Great fast food, mexican restaurant with pretty good food. We were passing through on our way home. Boy Winters has grown and has some really great restaurants now! I asked for something that was not on the menu and the chef was happy to do it for me! I really like when they are willing to do what is good for the customer. We will definitely be back.

Eh, it's ok. Had a cool little outdoor patio. Maybe i'm spoiled living in the bay area where there is so much really good Mexican cuisine but i was a little disappointed. First off, it was kind of pricey. It was ~75.00 for a family of 4 and my youngest usually splits a plate with mama bear. Secondly, I ordered a 3 taco plate and thankfully they put salsa on my tacos because the Al Pastor was hard. They beans and rice were just ok too, a little on the bland side. Luckily I had a michelada to wash it all down lol. In closing, I'm sure this place is a big hit with the locals and the location and outdoor patio is great but I just don't see me coming back. One thing that was kind of funny was one of the staffers didn't know what Ketchup was haha.

Genuinely bad food. Our breakfast burritos were soggy with uncooked bacon, the salsa was soupy and the guacamole was tasteless and mushy even after we tried to fix it by adding lime, salt and salsa. The burrito was as if someone had poured water inside the food. We left the majority of the food and went elsewhere.

I did not hate this place it just wasn't good for me. We had huevos rancheros and something I forgot the name of that had eggs scrambled with onions and such. However they put this dish together it was tasteless. In fairness the waiter remove the charges for that dish from our bill. While this was extremely gracious it was not the intent.

Genuinely the worst mexican food I have ever had. I didn't walk in with high expectations, but they failed to meet any. Don't go here if you want edible food. My friends got 3 different meals and each one was terrible.
