DUE TO A KITCHEN FIRE THIS LOCATION IS TEMPORARY CLOSED. We are long term customers of the Blu Jam chain. After the Tarzana location closed, we traveled to their Woodland Hills location. Same menu. Same great service. But, a little more intimate. Ordering is accomplished at the front counter. BLU JAM ACCEPTS NO CASH. A DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD MUST BE USED. You are asked to tip before service. Our service experience has always been excellent, and we tip accordingly. The tips are shared among servers. Your order is delivered to your table. My order of the "Tex Mex" vegan stir-fry is spicy, but not overly hot, the same as the generous portions served at the Tarzana location. I also ordered the French press. After waiting a few minutes for the hot water to brew the rich beans, press the plunger, This results in a flavorful satisfying beverage. My wife enjoyed the Lemon crepes, sprinkled with lemon zest and a side of crisp bacon. Her drink, a single shot of decaf coffee in their largest cup, with the rest of the cup filled with non-fat foam. She enjoys her bone-dry Cappuccino with a spoom. STUFF: Bathrooms are located in a short hallway on the NORTH (right) side of the dining room. Lots of free parking. There are several ADA spaces.

What great place for breakfast. The crunchy French toast was amazing. Plenty of free parking, service is excellent friendly atmosphere. Kid friendly but no actual Kids menu, the side dished work great though for kids. No wait for a table sat us down immediately on Saturday morning. I would go back to try some different items on the menu. Last thing, the portions are medium sized so you could share.

This was my first time eating at Blu Jam Cafe and man, what a little gem. This place is amazing! Tons of outdoor seating, you can order your food using their app and they bring it to you or go inside and order. The water comes with mint and lemon, which was great. The food was amazing. I had the French toast. It was super crispy and crunchy. The berries and vanilla sauce it came with was tasty. Since it isn’t served with syrup it’s not too sweet. My husband had the hangover scramble and I had to steal his because it was so good. I also had to take home a bottle of their hot sauce because it was delicious. I may regret not getting two but that just means we will have an excuse to go back. 100% recommend

I enjoyed dinning outdoors. There breakfast menu was incredible. The host was very friendly. Unfortunately the waiter doesn't take your order anymore. You either order from the barcode app in your cell or order in person inside. We did the app and it was pretty simple. As soon as we placed our orders they served our food pretty quickly. It was delicious and so flavorful. I like how our portions were so big. Everything was amazing.

Food is pretty good, was my first time here and had a good experience starting with customer service, they were really attentive and we got seated as soon as we got there, they got our food out pretty quick so we didn't wait that long to have our food on the table. And definitely you have to try their French toast, it's the best! 😋

We could place our order through their app, but seemed to take a long time so just walked up to the counter and made the order. Food was excellent and loved the atmosphere, very friendly❣️

Blu Jams my new Jam! I was looking for a place to have a nice ride and end up at a breakfast spot. Started looking around and found this place, glad I did. Our server was a woman named April, she was AWESOME. I would say that I am critical about getting good service, April really shined as a server. She gave us a warm welcome, was REALLY polite and friendly and just on it. She gave us phenomenal service and was entertaining. She really epitomized what great service is, she single handedly created a very memorable experience. Tip- Check in on Yelp and get a free Ginger shot. Drink- Carrot/ Orange Juice GingerShot Food- Steak Hash and the French Toast Coffee came in a French Press, really awesome, very tastey. Juice was probably the best fresh juice Ive had at a restaurant. really fresh, tasted cold pressed. April our server also recommended carrot apple juice but i was in the mood for OJ. We also went for the ginger shot. We all checked in and ordered one free of charge. It wasnt overly gingery, had a hint of cayenne pepper. Steak hash was really interesting. Steak was pretty good, needed a little salt and pepper, eggs were poached, very nice. Hollandaise sauce covered everything and really went well with it. I finished the whole thing. Wife got the french toast and enjoyed it. Everyone really loved what they had. we had a table of six. Parking was very easy and there wants any wait time. Well done!

We had the vegan tostada, tofu scramble and apple crepes. Everything was perfect except for a bit of a forgetful service that didn't upset our dining at all

Food is good. I got the breakfast quesadilla, my friend got a benedict and we got the crispy frenchie toast to split with his son. Food is good. Enjoyable. I'm not a fan of how you have to order by phone. At least here. They let you order at the cash register. But, not a fan of that.

I can easily say that Blue Jam Cafe is a great brunch/breakfast spot as I've been here quite a few times over the years and the service here is consistently good as well as the food has not let me down yet at this location. I will say be prepared as they would prefer you to order through their app/website design. I'm personally not too much of a fan on it as I usually like to order directly through a person which you can do if you ask for it. That aside, the ambiance is quite relaxing and cozy even. The food usually comes out at a respectable time pace and is always good. There can be a wait sometimes so do prepare yourself or see if you can put yourself on some kind of wait list through.

Leo & Lily's and Peddler's fork down the road have great service staff and awesome food. Sadly, I'm not sure if I'll ever return to BJC.

I barely give this review but I’m still in doubt if this is a real BluJam cafe branch! I’ve been a regular visitor to the Whilshire branch but this one gave me The worst breakfast experience I ever had, and we paid $60 for 2 people! The checkin and ordering process that doesn’t give you option to pay at the table( online menu is everywhere) but forcing to pay before food arrives is definitely not nice, The staff were inexperienced, the food came and juices and coffe came 10min later, A complete burnt egg Benedict, a so called fresh orange juice taste anything but fresh, too pricey for no reason. Definitely NOT RECOMMEND!

Memo to the owners....People are going out because they want to experience a restaurant and be waited upon. Especially in this day and time. When you then ask customers to get up and go to a cash register or enter a bunch of information online to order from the table because you will not provide waiters or waitresses, you're destroying a process for normalization and immediately annoying your patrons. If you are in the restaurant business you know how hard it is to get and maintain a customer and have them to come back. Not coming back. I've lived in Calabasas for 17 years and I've only been to Blue Jam a few times, and for good reason. Today's experience reminded me of why I do not need to return there. Food was average and the experience was low class.

Not Hollondaise sauce. Worst Benedict ever. Thick sour tasting yellow sauce and the potatoes had a burnt flavor. I asked for a latte and got a cappuccino. Will not go here again. The table was dirty and wobbly, I had to ask them to clean it twice.
