Was a little shocked there was no drive-thru but the place was clean, the employees were really friendly and they stayed open two minutes past closing to get me my avocado burrito. So yummy and fresh. Even my chips were nice and crisp at ten at night!

First time traveling to the north country from San Diego. I saw the sign and went off the next exit (Winnetka Ave. or exit 25 from the map view.) Turned left at the light (Ventura Blvd) and found this place. Food was just right for traveling with out the pico. It makes things drip other wise I get it in the food. The bathroom is on the outside of the building and you need to get the key from the clerk. Everything was hot and good tasting. They wrap the burrito in foil and I guess that makes a difference. On the way back the traffic was slow so I stopped in again. Even in the afternoon rush they filled my order to my request. I asked for a burrito cut in half and wrap separate. The cherros were crisp and not over oily. My survival food on the way to the north. Thank you for you smiles.
Stopped here to grab a quick bite while driving from Santa Barbara to Big Bear CA. For quick food, this is the place to stop. Besides, the 101 is usually backed up! I got the bbq avocado over stuffed chicken quesadilla and it was delicious! My wife got a regular chicken dinner with beans. I was brought up eating pinto beans and I know good pinto beans! These were great! Icing on the cake was the price. Great value for your dollar.
El Pollo Loco is my number one Go-To for healthy choices. I recommend the Classic Chicken Salad. The staff is amazing and is always willing to tell you their favorites. Two words: SALSA BAR!!
The churros get 5 stars the rest of the order was pretty good but still I give it 4 stars only because I wasn't in the greatest mood that day so it was uhmazing, just fine, just fine.

First id like to mention how nice and clean this place always is. The management is amazing, and the staff is always full of good energy and smiles. The cooks are damn good at what they do. Always providing great quality food every time i come. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Hope this gets back to the owner and he sees what type of people he has working for him...

My ratings are all based on comparisons to similar fast food and fast casual places. The staff is friendly and easy to order with. I've eaten here several times both ordering ahead in the app and ordering at the counter. Both are fairly quick. There's two separate dining AREAS, one next to beverage dispenser and order counter and another one is on the far Northside along the sidewalk and Ventura Boulevard, so it provides a nice view of passing people and cars. There's plenty of parking on two sides of the restaurant including space for curbside pickup near the front door and on the side of the building where there is an outdoor entrance to the bathroom there are several blue handicap spaces. While I've had family meals in the past with several pieces of chicken and sides, my in-store visits at this location have only been for the double chicken with avocado tostada bowl, which I love, since it has a little bit of everything in it and it's made fresh. And of course you can eat the bowl!

I placed an order on Uber Eats and one urgen was missing , the manager who helped was very nice and really helpful, she make it up and gave me coupons , churros she was really sorry and she demonstrated.

I used to live in southern California when it was just a new concept you can never ever go wrong with quality and taste of food here . What was really nice and awesome were the people who worked there . From cashier to cook to manger were all so friendly and helpful with smile and very polite. My food was ready before even I packed my salsa. More than anything else people are who actually make the difference. Hope management see this and reward them .
The place is very dirty!! The tables are not cleaned. Its no extra napkins. The 2 piece chicken meal is so tiny.

My go to for "fast food." It's not awesome but it's consistent and you can usually find discount coupons around.

I went to the Loco in Valley village. It looked like they remodeled the place. For the better . The service was Quick the food was hot and the station where the drinks and condiments r kept was clean. It can looked pretty grungy in some of the Loco sometime.
I love El Pollo Loco but this location always smells like a sewer so I was forced to stop coming to this one. It's very inconvenient since I work right by it and can't let myself go there. Wish they did something about it I have mentioned it several times....

I will never go to this location again. I ordered the wing special they gave me some dried up TINY wings and they charge for extra dressing that cost almost a dollar. And no restroom available.
i have visited this location several times out of convenience. recently made a special order. it's special yet simple and other locations will easily accommodate me. however, yet again this location continues to consistently underperform. if you can help it, make the extra trip to the next location (especially as this location doesn't have a drive-thru, and i know thode in a rush will rue having come here for that reason).
Food was Deliciously Delivered. However, the back corridor spine area had no FRESH circulating AIR. IM not an A C expert but i truly beleive the restroom stall vent was routed in that area instead of exiting the biulding. Plus the emergency back door was locked.

Im not one to write reviews however El pollo loco on Platt & victory is horrible Gave me brownish guacamole on my previous visit The chicken tortilla soup was 95%broth...I literally had 5 spoonfuls Cilantro was dirty tasting

The owner of this franchise charges you for extra sald dressing, had zero Pico de Gallo available, and the chicken tasted like wood!! Also, the merchant credit card machine doesn't work properly and after 8 times of attempting to run our American Express card it FINALLY processed!! Wow!! Get a new credit card processing machine.....soon. unacceptable to run your card 8 times to complete a transaction. The place has very poor working conditions as the sun directly shines into the front area where the take your order and cook and make your order. Put a shade blind so the hot summer sun doesn't hit your workers directly. No drive thru here either. Typical franchise owner that penny pinches in every direction he can! Treat your employees and customers better and you will get better results!!
Well, where do I begin? -As soon as I enter the restaurant, there's a FUNKY nasty smell. It's the smell that ruins your appetite. The staff blames the smell to the outside of the restaurant. But, there's no Funky smell on the outside. -The staff hands out the bathroom key to customers sometimes with a napkin or not. -So today is Tuesday 7-23-19 I went to get a pollo bowl but since I have digestive issues, my food has to be well cooked. I asked Maria Cruz (manager) if she could COOK the chicken a bit longer. She responded: "I don't do extras for any customer". I almost left the place to go to the one in West Hills, but, I was running late. I really didn't appreciate the manager's attitude. I was also there last Sunday and Kim (manager) was very helpful in cooking my chicken a bit more. It's a good feeling when people go the extra mile to make your day much better. Maria Cruz needs to be more understanding with customers. Going back to the FUNKY smell, you gotta do something about it. The smell is in the inside where the food is. I hope the FUNKY smell doesn't CONTAMINATE the food. I also noticed that the responses from the so called "owner" are all the same. Like the owner doesn't take the time to respond on different issues. -Last month I was also there getting food and this man came in with his teen son who had to PEE so bad. The kid was in tears, he couldn't hold his PEE any longer. The same lady Maria Cruz told the man that he needed to buy something in order to use the bathroom. So I told her, let him in the bathroom, pretend that he's with me. I just spent $15.00 hello? Finally she did. What a nasty service. I'm done going there. Worst customer service received from Josephina and Martha the manager. Extremely unfriendly, rude, unprofessional. Take your business some place else and avoid being treated like your business is not needed or welcomed. BTW, their bathroom closes to paying customers that are dinning in around 7 pm, so plan accordingly.
Worse customer service. They didn't put any salsa with my pickup order and when I ask, I got only 3. When I ask for more, rude lady said 3 salsa per order. Are you serious? Restaurant previously was closed because horrible customer service. I guess they will close soon again.

Worse experience ever. I called to order several times they didn't pick up the phone for about 30 mins. When finally answer the guy promised me that will take from 30 min to 45 mins. Guess what? They took 2 hours to bring me the food. Plus they forgot the cilantro dressing. It will take me time to order from el pollo loco again.
I have lived in the San Fernando Valley for over 5 years and have worked in the Woodland Hills area for over 10 years. And this particular El Pollo loco has always had a bad smell to it in the eating area. It's unacceptable. The bathrooms are on the outside and the manager/owner is not friendly at all. The worst El Pollo Loco in my opinion.
Food was good like always got pollo bowl taste the same as all pollo locos reason I gave 1 star it was super hot outside went to eat inside to get away from the heat and I was sooo wrong the AC was off it was hotter inside then was outside the lights were off looks like they doing everything to save money by saving on the power Bill the poor stuff and cooks were all soaking in there own sweat 😓

I ordered 16 pc mixed chicken and asked for no wing she said No we don’t have enough chicken we can’t do it I told her we don’t eat wing and she ignored me. When I was going to pay her I noticed she changed me $10 extra for Brest and wing. I told her mixed chicken is the same price as leg and Thigh with this coupon she said no. I asked her more then 3 time please read my coupon and she was ignoring me finally she read it and said O ok. I told her mam I asked you more then 3 times to read it and you ignored me. Manger came out and said I’ll help you no problem. This is not acceptable from this store to do people working hard and charge them more money for no reason. Terrible experience. They charged me two dollars more than the price on the board and then she told me that that was what was in her register and it didn’t matter if the price on the board was less. She said I’ll refund your money and I said I just want the two dollars refundedand she said no the place was terrible. She was yelling at everybody. Do not go to this place.

They will charge extra for anything and talk to you like you owe them something. You should definitely avoid this location and drive 10 minutes to another one. Save your self some money and headache.
Unfortunately, my experience at this location was very disappointing. the manager Josefina was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. I was hit with unexpected charges and felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience rather than a customer. I was there on April 15 at 7:38 pm and purchased a meal ( order number 576). I asked Josefina who claimed to be the manager to use the restroom. She first ignored hearing me then said restroom is closed because it has already been cleaned. I asked her what time do you close she said 9 pm! I said rest room should be open till you close be she turned her back on me. She gave me attitude and when I asked for the manger , she said I am the manager!
Used to go here all the time, but the staff are overworked and charge and serve you wrong items while refusing to correct your order or card charge. The manager was particularly dismissive. Further, my car was hit and run while parked outside their establishment in broad daylight. Never again - spreading the word.
I ordered a chicken burrito. They gave me beef. I found out when I got home, it was carry-out. I called for a refund. It's been 5 days & no refund. They only offered a partial refund, but haven't even given that back yet. Unprofessional & slow service. I said my name clearly & even said I was there to pick up a chicken burrito. The employee was on her cell phone with her purse on one arm ready to go. Maybe if she would get off the phone when she's working she could have given me the right order. Even after giving me my order I had to wait 5 minutes for her to give me my sauces. This El Pollo Loco is also about 20% more expensive than all the other El Pollo Locos in the valley.

Unfortunately, my experience at this location was very disappointing. the manager Josefina was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. I was hit with unexpected charges and felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience rather than a customer. If you’re considering coming here, I’d strongly recommend driving a bit further to another branch. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.
I would definitely avoid this location. Their service is absolutely horrible. They have careless and rude management specially Josephine. They will charge extra for anything and talk to you like you owe them something. You should definitely avoid this location and drive 10 minutes to another one. Save your self some money and headache.
I was there on April 15 at 7:38 pm and purchased a meal ( order number 576). I asked Josefina who claimed to be the manager to use the restroom. She first ignored hearing me then said restroom is closed because it has already been cleaned. I asked her what time do you close she said 9 pm! I said rest room should be open till you close be she turned her back on me. She gave me attitude and when I asked for the manger , she said I am the manager!
Used to go here all the time, but the staff are overworked and charge and serve you wrong items while refusing to correct your order or card charge. The manager was particularly dismissive. Further, my car was hit and run while parked outside their establishment in broad daylight. Never again - spreading the word.
I ordered a chicken burrito. They gave me beef. I found out when I got home, it was carry-out. I called for a refund. It's been 5 days & no refund. They only offered a partial refund, but haven't even given that back yet. Unprofessional & slow service. I said my name clearly & even said I was there to pick up a chicken burrito. The employee was on her cell phone with her purse on one arm ready to go. Maybe if she would get off the phone when she's working she could have given me the right order. Even after giving me my order I had to wait 5 minutes for her to give me my sauces. This El Pollo Loco is also about 20% more expensive than all the other El Pollo Locos in the valley.
