Great quality Salvadorian restaurant. 🇸🇻 I was walking around before I spotted this restaurant and decided to try it. I added it to my favorites list. I ordered El Desayuno #1 and it was fantastic. The "casamiento" is delicious and the cheese was one of the best Salvadorian cheeses I've had. The food sizes are great and the quality is there. Would recommend if you wanna try some Salvadorian food in Queens.

Delicious pupusas!!! The restaurant is so clean and beautiful. I am colombian and this is my first time in a Salvadorian restaurant, beautifully decorated, the ladies are so welcomed. The prices are amazing. I strongly recommend this place.

Trekked over to this spot in Queens as I’ve been craving some papusas lately. The place has a chill vibe - art and maps of El Salvador on the walls with soccer playing on the tele. So far so good, and when you see papusas with loroco, a Central American herb commonly added to papusas as one of the options I knew I was in the right place. I ordered three - loroco, chipilin, and chicharron. All were delicious - a little char on the outside, full of hot melted cheese and awesome with a bit of their green chile sauce to provide some kick. Delicious, and great value - just what I was looking for.

This is some authentic Pupusas. Makes me feel like I'm in El Salvador. Not sure if the cheese is imported but it sure taste legit. They have a variety of pupusas and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. My favorite is the Jalapeño one which has finely diced pieces of jalapeños with gooey cheese 😋 The most flavor packed pupusa is the "revuelta" which has beans, cheese & pork. What I like about this spot is that I can get a cola Champagne (Salvadorean orange colored soda) in a glass bottle. If you haven't had a Salvadorean horchata I recommend it. It is made out of a plant called "morro". If you wanna try Salvi food & dine on a budget, this is your spot.

Service is quick and friendly! Pupusas are made to order, something you can definitely taste! Served with sides, ‘curtido’ (described as cabbage relish/salad, it consists of: finely chopped cabbage, red onions, carrots, oregano, and white vinegar) and ‘salsa roja’ (tomato sauce) - so sooo good!! Pupusas Ordered: 1 cheese 1 jalapeño and cheese 1 chicharrón 1 chilipín and queso It was my first time having ‘Chipilín’ pupusas - by far my favorite!! - tasted delicious and have read such good things about it! Glad to have come across this Woodside gem!!

I have only ordered through DoorDash and food always comes warm and well packaged. Enjoy getting the combinado pupusas and the nachos.

Ordered two Pupusas to go. They were 😋. The restaurant is cozy and has a nice decor. However, it took longer than it had to for 2 Pupusas and worse than that was the attitude of the waitress. She showed no hospitality at all. I understand that I was waiting for a takeout order, but I was still a paying customer. I will revisit this review if and when I go back. Perhaps I'll eat there the next time.

Overall a good spot to eat. 3/5 stars for me because their service was a bit slow but the staff was kind. Not a huge fan of the chicharrón, but the beans and cheese pupusa hit the spot. El curtido was delicious and the salsa could use more flavor but overall okay. I definitely want to come back to try more of their menu. Wanted to try their pupusas, and I was disappointed at the quality, they fell apart while trying to cut them. My husband ordered a plate that comes with steak/rice/sweet plantain/eggs/avocado, the steak was too dry and food overall was too salty. We had the horchata (drink) this was good. Service was ok. Hard to find parking. They take your order and pass you the bill. That’s it. They won’t check in you.

Service and new ownership lacks customer service and expertise. Clients come and staff including owner make them wait. Prices are high for the service and establishment atmosphere.

TERRIBLE SERVICE — SCAM ALERT I ordered juice and they charged me milkshake price (double), claiming juice isn’t on the menu anymore—without telling me first. That’s not a mistake, that’s dishonest. It felt like they targeted me since I don’t speak Spanish. On top of that, no one ever refilled water, and I waited over 20 minutes just to get the bill. Confirm prices and record your order before eating here, or they’ll try the same scam on you.
