Huge pizzas great times!

Great place for good beer and variety of pizza toppings, including vegan mozzarella. Friendly staff, and my visit tonight had some great live music as a bonus! I try to always stop in when I'm in the area!

What a great place this turned out to be. A friend of mine was performing in a local concert and recommended this place. I couldn’t have been happier. I’m a tremendous fan of their pizza but the appetizers were excellent as were their hamburgers. I look forward to going back when I’m back in the area.

Catskill Mountain Pizza has some of the best tasting pizza in upstate Ny. The sauce is flavorful and the cheese is high quality. This reviewer really appreciated the dough on their Pizza also. I say try them out you won't be sorry.

I’ve been going here for 10 years…..I simply love the place and the prices I think are reasonable.

Food was great and just what we were looking for. The ginger cider on tap was like nothing I've had in an adult beverage - perfection; but the service was the jewel in this restaurant's crown. Our server was also running the bar where a steady stream of locals seemed to be setting up camp for the day. We enjoyed his style thoroughly and commend him for running everything with such grace.

Great pizza shop! We ordered pizza nd chicken tenders! Super thin crust and extra large slices and the tenders were just that, tender without being overwhelmed by the batter. You can actually enjoy the chicken! We enjoyed it very much and visited twice on our stay. Be sure to come with time to spare because both times there was a signed that asked patrons to be patient because they were short staffed! Worth the wait if you have the time!

The pizza here is better than New York City pizza, in my humble, but very experienced opinion. The salads here are generous and have a good variety of ingredients unusual to pizza places. I have always found the people who work here to be pleasant and willing to accommodate special requests. Their outdoor seating is wonderful on a summer night, watching all the interesting people walking by. I live a block away and that makes me very happy!

I am a fan of thin crust pizza and the giant plain pie they sell by the slice is perfect. Excellent flavor. I even buy the raw dough to take home and make into other things!

Hands down the best plate of nachos I've had anywhere! Incredibly authentic in every way..it was on their specials board and I figured I'd give it a shot. Unbelievable! Had a piece of their Margherita pizza while waiting for nachos and that was excellent as well. Friend had butternut squash soup with cornbread and said that was amazing as well. Will be back!

AMAZING in every way! Chris was the best waiter, he handled our party of 18, including 8 children, which most servers struggle with. He was extremely personable. The pizza was delicious and they have a greater beer selection, there is truly something for everyone. If we lived closer this would be our regular place.

My favorite New York style pizza joint in upstate NY. They offer pizza by the slice, as well as a sit down area with waiter service with a slightly different menu. Both are great options. I should also mention that their meatball parmigiana hero/sub, or whatever you want to call it, is terrific. Easily one of the best I've had, in the upstate area or even the five boroughs. Honestly I've never been disappointed eating here; every now and again when I come for a quick slice later in the day the options can be limited (down to a broccoli slice for example) but it happens. If you're in the area, try it out.

Omg, their pizza was surprisingly delicious. We took a day trip to the Catskills & stopped there for a bite. Everyone wanted pizza but me. I'm A BIG pizza lover, & thought to myself this is not going to be good. To my surprise it was up there with the top pizza makers. I had a eggplant pizza. The price was pretty reasonable as well.

Great place to grab a slice or enjoy a full dinner. Nice selection of draft beers as well. But, be aware, they do not accept credit cards! Diagonally across the street, there's an Ulster Savings Bank and in the Sunflower strip a Greene County Bank. Get out some cash unless you have a local check. They'll accept that too.

Best pizza in town, have been getting their pizza for 15 years. It's great to see that they have store made desserts, but what's up with this flan? It looks so sad that I wanna get it some balloon and a get well card. Please use a double boiler and don't cook it so damn hot, it's ruined.

Really delicious and affordably-priced food. Delicious 🍕 and the meatball appy was scrumptious. Some of the best fries we've had lately. We were stuffed but could not stop eating the 🍟! Great selection of craft beers. Quick, attentive service.

Best linguine with white clam sauce (with whole white clams) I've had in awhile. The personal pan Sicilian pizza and chicken parm that my tablemates ordered was also appreciated by them. The staff were friendly and helpful, everything came out in a timely fashion even though they were way busy (it was Halloween), the prices were fair, and we ended up taking leftovers home. Aaand, it's a pizza place with a liquor license! In a town as cool as Woodstock...

This is a new favorite — great gluten-free pizza in the heart of Woodstock. The staff were so sweet and patient, they were really helpful with my order. The white pizza had such fresh and flavorful ingredients, plus the pepperoni one was delicious. The pies were perfectly sized to share two. Not a single bite disappointed. I can’t wait to visit next time I’m in Woodstock. Truly such a gem for folks with Celiac Disease or gluten allergies.

We loved our stop at the Catskill Mountain Pizza Co! The atmosphere was cozy and our server Kim was awesome and so welcoming! The wings were extra crispy and the different pizzas we ordered were delicious. They also had a great beer selection both drafts and cans. It is indeed cash only!

We stopped for lunch and the food was great. They also have a decent selection of sodas and seltzers. There are options to grab a slice or order an entire pie. Sandwiches and other options available as well. It was very good food.

This place was so rude. It was almost as if it was an inconvenience us coming in not even when they were close to closing and it seemed like a burden us asking for pizza. They even said something to turn away the elderly couple in front of us. They had hours old cold pizza sitting there ready to be warmed up, not much variety of flavors. We pretty much took what was left to refuel post hike. We stayed it was to go which was true. We set the box down on one of the outside tables just to adjust ourselves and the lady at the counter sighed in frustration as if even if we changed our mind and wanted to sit eat, it would be a problem. And she said audibly in frustration "I thought they said it's to go!" This felt like the movie "get out" in this weird sundown town if you get my drift. Like mentioned above, their attitude isn't friendly or welcoming whatsoever. And that's a shame because the pizza wasn't too bad.

We ordered our meal to go and it took about 20 minutes on a not-too-busy Thursday night. Both The Godfather and Margherita were delicious. Appreciated the loads of basil on the marg. The sauce is tangy and a bit sweet; crusts quite thin, which we liked. The fried calamari was crunchy and well seasoned too!

Seriously one of the best pizza places in all of NY! The specialty pizzas are absolutely to die for! Every single one is incredibly delicious. Try them all! I think my favorite, is the Bonanza pizza! See included picture. The single plain slices are xtra large and two is a whole meal, making it in my opinion the best value lunch in town. They're always busy so you might have to wait on hold if you call in but 100% worth the wait. They also have a nice small bar and dining room in the back. Lots of craft beers to choose from. If you're in Woodstock don't pass this place up!

You sometimes forget that food service is often left to the teens to make it all happen. The girl in the Independent Trucks t-shirt had her act together and the counter boys were good for a laugh if not for diligence. The pizza is better than "vacation pizza." We considered going back for simplicity's sake the next night. Also, the dressing (applied to the takeout Catskill Mountain salads) was delicious and not overdone. I was worried not ordering it on the side was going to become a thing once home. Win!

I’ve only been to Catskill Mountain Pizza a handful of times, but I can’t recommend their Caesar salad enough! Their pizza is also pretty good, the last time that I had it I got a gluten free pizza which was pretty good.

Pizza was great, 80s music was amazing. Greek salad wasn't as described in the menu. The only real negative that I would say was we were discussing payment and the server overheard and told us that credit was now accepted (lots if signs everywhere saying cash only.) Because of the comment, one friend put all of our meals on her card and happened to notice a surcharge when we went to pay. Apparently, there is a 3% service fee to use a card. Had that been disclosed or discussed, that wouldn't have been an issue. But it wasn't brought up at all and we only found out because she asked. It just left a bad taste after a fairly enjoyable experience.

Good food and dedicated staff. Went Sept.1st the restuarant is in Woodstock NY which is a tourist attraction on weekends. The restaurant was very busy, the waitress gave us warning that it is about 30 minutes to get your order, no biggie, they worked their tails off taking care of the customers, and they had pleasant attitudes doing it. If you're not in a hurry then for some good Italian food, this the place.

Totally shocked at how good their slices were, I was honestly not expecting it to be so good. The crust was nice and thin and crispy and just the way I like it. Toppings were good and the sauce was on point. I had a slice with veggies and a plain slice. Sat outside and enjoyed my pizza while watching all the people walk by.

Burgers and pizzas are delicious! Pasta is great, too. Love their sauce! Great service, good beer selection in the dining room, bartender is friendly and knowledgable. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals and we've been back several times. Consistently good. Would be 5 stars if they accepted credit/ debit cards. There's an ATM, but on 2 or 3 occasions it's been empty, meaning somebody had to run down the street and find another atm. That's pretty frustrating and inconvenient, especially with a larger party.

Great pizza and excellent veggie sides. The bar scene is great and they frequently have live music. Cash-only is the only negative (sorry guys, I know it’s expensive for you but it’s less convenient for the consumer).

I usually get to Woodstock a few times a year. I sometimes go into Catskill Mountain Pizza for a slice and a drink to go. I do enjoy it. It is a thin slice new york style. The crust is very good and would be even better right out of the oven. The cheese and sauce are to my liking. I have not had anything else there but the Calzones look quite appetizing . As a good italian, I usually try spaghetti and meatballs in every italian restaurant I go to . However, my visits to Woodstock are not long enough for a sit down meal. I usually get some pizza to go so as to try that in each establishment. The staff is very upbeat and kind. I am sure i will stop again for a slice. I understand they also have a bar . Maybe someday I will try a meal. If you are close and looking for a quick slice, I do not think you can go wrong.

Below was the review I wrote not long ago.However something has changed. Their pizza which use to be very good now is just horrible. Very dry with minimal cheese and sauce reheated it seems many time. Now when I want to go to the restaurant porrtion which is still good my friends won't come because they want pizza and it has become terrible. And the thing is I have, as a few others have, mentioned the problem to them and they don't seem to care. This is really too bad.I loved this place. Now I have to find another go-to restaurant. But if you don't want pizza go for the other food...........(this was original review before the decline of their pizza) Can't say enough good things. And now they opened the restaurant part and it is so good and well priced...we love it.

Mediocre food for the price that takes forever and a day to get out of the kitchen even when not busy. The clueless teens behind the counter regularly mess up orders so check everything before leaving. The only thing redeeming is the great effort the service staff in the back make working under such circumstances. With some mild competition this place would be out of business.

My experience has been a hit or miss. I recommend going before 6pm otherwise pizza has been sitting out and is dried out. The staff also gets talking to one another and forgots the food is heating up in the oven. One Time they burned 3 separate slices because they kept forgotting about it, while in conversation. I haven't tried any of the food so my review is for pizza alone.

Service was ok, would have been better if they didn't seem short staffed. Servers were very friendly! Food was mediocre, but it came hot. Make sure to have cash on you because they do not take cards. There is no signage indicating cash only to give you a heads up. They do however, conveniently have an ATM to get cash from and they most likely get a kick back in the transaction fees for having the ATM in their restaurant.

Great service doesn’t overcome the middling pizza quality. It was ok, I always ask myself if I’d come back…the answer on this one is no. We sat outside and had table service, lovely evening and really great waitress. Had salads and the white pizza…kinda watery perhaps due to spinach on pie? Just kinda meh.

I want to love this place. In fact, I do partially love this place (they had me at gluten free pizza crust!). I love it when we dine in person. The staff in the restaurant is all so friendly and really go above and beyond (Crispy always does his best to make us feel at home!). Pre-pandemic they had live music a few nights a week (I believe it was Tuesday nights that we enjoyed!) and you feel like a regular from the get go. However, our take out experience is nearly universally terrible. Any sort of special order often gets messed up (I ask just for one ingredient to be removed, which doesn't feel insane for this health-conscious area) and it is highly likely the pizza won't be ready when they say it will be. After each disappointment, my husband and I remind ourselves that we no longer want to order takeout, but will happily go once we can dine in again. Apparently we forgot that tonight when we ordered pizza, go to pick it up... and they forgot to put in the order. And not only did they forget to place our order, but then provided no extra customer service as an apology, charged full price, and made us wait. Oh, and my order was wrong. Tl:dr? Dine at the restaurant for a warm and inviting experience, maybe with some fun local music, with delicious pizza and subs. Just don't ever order it for takeout unless you want a highly disappointing experience.

The pizza is our favorite. The counter staff are amazing. The food (aside from the pizza) is not great, and the bathroom is absolutely disgusting. Bottom line.... go for the pizza and bring cash because they only accept cash and their ATM is only operational 50% of the time..

Pizza looks good. Isn’t. Not so much because of the toppings. It’s the crust. It feels like frozen crusts. Thin but doughy and not at all crispy. It’s thin bread. Disappointing. Only cash. I’m always surprised by superlative reviews of decidedly average food. But then again, some people who can write eat Slim Jim’s.

Ordered a pizza for delivery. Everything was fine, but the delivery driver took off with the cash without asking if I wanted change. I'm happy to tip but 30% for pizza seemed steep. Will not be ordering delivery from them anytime soon.

"Best Pizza this Side of Brooklyn"? Don't think so. Been living here about 40 yrs. From Bronx/Westchester. I've had good pizza before. This is average, at best. Would rate it 2.5 - 3. Had the pizza soon after they opened in the late 90's. Didn't care for it. Recently decided to give it another try. Nothing changed. Crust was tasteless, the whole pie needed salt, toppings were average. During my time up here the two previous pizza establishments in the village made a better pizza, IMHO. However, their dinners are very good. Usually get chicken parm, eggplant parm, or linguini with white clam sauce. Would rate them all 4.

Ordered a plain slice and a large salad. The salad had lettuce on the bottom half that was wilted on the edges and tasted mediocre. The top half of the salad was ok and covered up the bottom so that it seemed marginal whether to complain. The slice was served in 30 seconds and was cold. Sent it back for reheating with one bite in it. Returned to me a minute later and was still not hot enough. Ate it anyway and was surprised that it too tasted mediocre if even that. Seriously disappointing dinner. Too bad, this place used to be good. I guess everything changes.

First time I had ever been to Woodstock and ordered food from THIS establishment. A Philly cheesesteak.......the worst I've ever had. Zero flavor, wrong kind of bread, and there was way too much fat. I'm not sure if it was ribeye.....didn't taste like it. Seemed like the sandwich was made hastily. I should have ordered a pizza for sure.

Reliably inconsistent. Portion and quality control are practically not there. Also, why close on Sunday in a tourist town? That said, not terrible, just don't expect it to look the same next time. Pizza is okay, bit could be better. I do eat here a lot, but that is mostly because to find something else inexpensive, I would have to drive to Kingston.

Cute place, but the pasta with meat sauce was very watery and flavorless.

I've really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt over the last year, but the are many reasons why you should skip this place. Here are just a few in no particular order. 1. The staff have never been friendly, or even remotely pleasant any of the 10 times I have been there. Today the cashier even had a shirt that said, "Ew, people". Maybe she's in the wrong line of work. 2. We were told there were no onions in a dish that ended up having onions. The issue is that my sister is highly allergic and was in the bathroom all night. 3. The pizza is OK but inconsistent. At dinner hour on a Thursday there wasn't much of a selection of slices and no speciality items ready. No calzones, pinwheels, or even garlic knots unless you special ordered, which would take 20 minutes. I've never seen a pizza place without garlic knots ready. 4. They are cash only, which these days with such low transaction fees to me can only mean they aren't claiming all their income. Every other business contributes to our community so it's dissapointing they opt not to. It's also a terrible inconvenience for customers and even dangerous with COVID. No one seems to have any pride in their work, the pizza, or the lovely community they serve. I would not recommend Catskill Mountain Pizza.

I've been ordering here, or trying to, for 3 years now. Not anymore. Pizza is mediocre. Often don't have ingredients...ham...meatballs etc. Orders are wrong more than you"d expect. Cash only. But the absolute worst thing is just trying to place an order. Try to call on a weeknight or anytime on a weekend and you will get immediately put on hold for 30+ minutes or until you hang up... Which seems to be what the staff wants. Go in and watch the clown show of untrained, unmotivated workers do their best to not help you. I tried. I really did. Wanted to support a local business and all that. But it's a horrible, insulting experience. I'm done.

Really wanted some pizza while in Woodstock on Tuesday. After reading the reviews decided to stop in. Started off with a nasty girl at the counter. I waited physically at the counter for 5 minutes till she acknowledge that I was standing there because she was to busy talking to another girl. Ordered the food ,PAID , and walked around Woodstock for 20 min. Come back to the same girl being rude to 3 customers in front of me. Get to the front and another waits on me. Guess what the pizza isn't even in the computer, yet they get a small pizza from the top. Then the same girl that I paid tried to charge me again. Grab a coke (it's not cold) and take the pizza and go. Get in the car and the pizza is COLD. There was a sign for us to be patient with the staff that came in , well they should clearly have made her go home. As a business owner myself, customer service is a huge part of keeping customers coming back. Unfortunately because of this first impression we will not be returning!

Terrible service. Immature employees and a lot of loud, obnoxious drunks at the bar. They screw up your order if they ever get around to serving you. Also, the pizza is just ok. From reading the other reviews here, I get the impression the staff resents customers they judge as folks from THE CITY which, I guess, to them, is anyone not fat or someone who is not wearing a Goodwill outfit. I'm not from THE CITY but maybe my slender build and clean clothes threw them off.

What a disappointing experience, I place a $200. Order. My order was for 7 large pies. I told the woman I needed 3 large classic cheese pizza for all the kids. We did not get the cheese pies for the kids. I called and spoke to the manager, she told me they are too busy to deliver new pies and that's a common mistake. I offered to compensate the driver and wait. She still refused to fix the issue. I would not recommend this place.

After hiking and sight seeing all day, my boyfriend and I were very much looking forward to a delicious, hearty meal. We read great reviews about the food and made the decision to eat at Catskill Mountain Pizza Co. Upon walking in, we noticed that the employees were very busy tending to already seated customers, which I understand. However, while waiting to be seated, not one person made eye contact or bothered to acknowledge our presence. After exchanging a couple of confused looks, we decided to wait a couple more minutes. I even stepped closer to the dining area, hoping to be noticed and approached. Still, no one said a word. 4 employees rushed right in front of me without even a glance. It was as if we were ghosts!! I've never experienced such a lack of common courtesy. No matter how busy a business is, employees should ALWAYS acknowledge their customers, even if it is to tell them they will have to wait to be seated. This must be a new concept for the people who work at this establishment. Wish we had a chance to try the food while we were in town. But I'll never give my business to a restaurant with such poor people skills.

Definitely a disappointing experience! We came up here for my sister in law wedding in which all the places we went to were very welcoming and hospitable, we are from the city. We ordered $200 worth of pizza from them and they misunderstood our order. We ordered 3 plain pies for our kids on top of other pies. We got 3 “classics”. We called them to let them know the mistake and they said that is a common mistake and agreed to give us 3 plain pies if We picked it up. We asked them if they could bring it as it was their mistake and they refused because they were “too busy” and we were 3 miles out of their driving range. If we ever come up here again definitely not going there! Horrible customer service.

Well this is the second time coming to this pizza spot in Woodstock. Both times have been absolutely horrendous service & overpriced slop. Rude & inattentive wait staff. Witnessed one of the cooks smoke a cigarette & pick his nose outside then go inside & start making sandwiches without washing his hands. Had to ask for a menu both times I've been there multiple times. The energy of the workers is absolute trash. Avoid this dump at all costs.

Today, this establishment lost a loyal customer for the worst service interaction I have experienced in years. I am not one to leave negative reviews as I understand how impactful they are for local businesses, but the anger and genuine hostility I experienced during my most recent time ordering here has put me off of this place for good. As we have been ordering from this restaurant since 2016, I understood that a cash-only policy might be in place. To confirm, when placing a pickup order, I asked on the phone if the establishment accepted credit card payment, to which the woman at the other end responded "yes, we take cards now." I would have stopped placing the order if I was told otherwise. When we show up to pay for our order, however, we are informed that the place is cash only. I am an understanding person, and I have no problem forgiving a simple mistake, but I was understandably surprised. When I expressed that we had been told they take cards, the same woman who took my order insisted that she had told me that it was cash only. This was simply not the case; she looked like she was overwhelmed but I was 100% told that they take credit cards over the phone. I expressed this to her, and her response was incredibly angry: she once again insisted that she had told me something she had not, then made a comment under her breath about "people not listening" or something like that and stormed off. I did not appreciate being made to feel like I was a liar, and the hostility of that interaction did not sit well with me. I understand that people have bad days and make mistakes, but even if I had made the error and misunderstood what she said, her response to this minor dispute was insulting and frankly shocking. So be warned: if you still plan on eating here, make sure you bring cash.

Am a local customer for 7 years. Lady on phone said that take credit cards. When I arrived, she lied and said she never said that and yelled at me. I will never ever use this business again based on this lying lunatic and you have just lost a good customer.

I was told “please hold” on 3 different calls yesterday afternoons. Never spoke to a person. not body ever came back to the call. I used a 2 nd phone…again “please hold”. . the 3rd call I held for 23 minutes, drove to the shop, still on hold, there were no customers, 2 women behind the counter chatting with each other, I showed them my phone and that I was STILL on hold and she looked at me and said: “Do you want to place an order?” No apology, no explanation! I asked if their phone was broken.. she said “it’s not flashing I don’t know” REALLY REALLY RUDE. .Took my order for 5 pies to Kingston. Your pizza is good but not THAT good…..!
