Jeramey is my favorite server. Really attentive, but not like working for a tip, like really cares about people. The food is good too, but the service is where it’s at, it’s the bee’s knees.
Micah our waitress was absolutely fantastic! She is so sweet, very attentive and she takes very good care of her tables! She was all smiles and just gave fantastic service all around! Thanks again for a great family outing! We will be back!
Stopped in today (Sunday) around 12:30 the restaurant was filling up but Kelsey never missed a beat. She was extremely professional and attentive. Eating out with a toddler can be challenging but she had us in and out in record time with top notch service.
First time having steak, and was Wow'd. Ribeye was so juicy and tasty as well as the great Ribeye. Emma was a wonderful server. Thanks Cotton Patch!
Great atmosphere- fantastic service - huge portions! Highly recommend. Ask for Jerry- he is fantastic !
Our server/bartender Jeramey made our experience so memorable. Great food great drinks, outstanding service. I haven’t been to cotton patch in years and now we have a great reason to come Back!!! Thanks so much Jeramey! ❤️
Went for Dads 91st and he had a great time. Ginger and staff were great. And Mama’s Butter Cake is the bomb!!!
Jeremy was our waiter and he was AMAZING, it was my first time here and omg I am definitely coming back! He provided the best service ever, he was nice, funny, caring, and polite. He is 100% the best waiter ever, especially since it was my first time coming here. He is definitely the reason I’m returning to this place.
Great staff everyone so nice boz is great he is the gm I believe definitely would recommend this location me and my mom got xmas and Thanksgiving dressing it was amazing.
Our waiter, Jeremy, was great! Everything was quick, correct, and delivered to the table hot - except the iced tea, of course!
Service is really good. Our waiter checked on us often. The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly.
What a wonderful location! Good ol’ Cotton Patch! Emmah is awesome! Love coming on Tuesdays! Great service and good food!!! Friendly environment! Love the basket of fresh rolls! Good Cotton patch times! Definitely a Wylie Treasure! Can’t wait to go back! Try the brisket potato! Or the chicken fried steak! Great hospitality! More cotton patch please!
The food was great and more affordable than a lot of restaurants in 2025. Chicken fried steak tasty and tender, real mashed potatoes, not out of a box, and green beans with bacon bits, baked sweet potato. Frozen margaritas were good too.
We always have a good meal at Cotton Patch. Our server this week, Kelsey, was wonderful! Friendly, quick and just made sure we had a great lunch! Kelsey is the best!! PS Chickrn friend steak reasallly good.
We always enjoying eating at this Cotton Patch. Our server, Libby, was exceptional in her service and cheerful attitude.
Every time we come into the Murphy location, Jeremy McGuire has always serviced us. He’s very attentive, friendly and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service and create a great experience. Cannot say enough good things about him and his work ethic.
I had a wonderful experience at Cotton Patch Café thanks to our amazing server, Micah. From the moment we were seated, she was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She took the time to make sure our order was just right, checked in on us at all the right times, and made us feel like valued guests. Micah’s friendly attitude and professional service truly elevated our dining experience. She’s a standout and a great example of excellent customer service. We’ll definitely be back—thanks, Micah!
I had a band competition last week in Wiley and ordered Cotton Patch to be delivered. With no reflection on Cotton Patch, the door dash driver made my ordering miserable. He did not understand explicitly directions and was very hard to understand. Again this is no reflection on Cotton Patch. When I finally got my food, even tho it was pretty cool by then, lol, the food was absolutely delicious. I can only imagine how good it would be if hot. If I am ever in Wiley again I will definitely give Cotton Patch another try, this time I'll just pick up. Manager Boz callled and apologized even though it was not their fault. I really appreciated that.
I was unable to scan the QR code provided to leave this review, but Google knows me... 😉 My first visit to Cotton Patch Wylie was fantastic! I'd heard great things and finally experienced it. Delicious food and cocktails (I had the salmon and a hard cherry limeade)... Our server, Amaya, was an absolute joy! 🤩 Even with the loss of power due to the storm, she maintained her positive demeanor and handled it with grace. Top notch! Thanks so much!
The chicken fried steak was amazing and our waitress Aspen was the best. Incredible chicken fried steak with Cajun cheese balls for appetizer.
Overall amazing experience, mainly due to the young server by the name of Cole, we had came in close to closing and he didn’t skip a beat in making us feel hospitable and welcome, he was quick in serving, asking questions on our meals, etc, very polite as well. Really appreciate you Cole!
Omg was super delicious!!! Sweet customer services ever and nice atmosphere! There yo go Texas!!!! Amazing!! I’m definitely back more often!!!
Stopped here for lunch. The staff was friendly and the place clean and bright. It was not busy and my server, Ava was over right away. They serve comfort foods that are a little different. I ordered the Brisket Tacos and they were very really good. I would recommend you try the Cotton Patch Cafe next time you're in the neighborhood. Thanks Eva and keep up the good work!
Cole was such an excellent waiter! He great customer service and attention detail! He made our visit exceptional! Food was great as well!
This was the Bomb 💣💣. Finally I go to a restaurant and they have what I've been craving it's some homemade American chicken and dumplings, it brought me back memories my first bite and the okra was good and a loaded potato was good to salty though. I recommend five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the taste, however I give it a one ⭐ on how They chose this type of bowl for chicken and dumplings to think your getting a lot but your not. It's one cup. Not cool. At least 2 cup minimum. Overall everything was well.
Our server Mary did a fantastic job. The food was wonderful. We love coming to this Cotton Patch.
We saw an advertisement on fox4 and when we got there melted at the door and seated and the waitress was very nice courteous and professional. Now the food was amazing. Hot great tasting. We even had a peach cobler. This was the first time we ever been to Cotton Patch Cafe and we will come back for the comfortable atmosphere, staff and the food. Thanks for the great meals.
We love dining at Cotton Patch Texas, great variety of food choices & value for prices. Our experience today was even better with our delightful waitress, "Ginger"
We had a wonderful meal at the Cotten Patch! Outstanding service, served with great speed, and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
I had the Tuesday special, our waitress was great, the chicken fried chicken was really good, the atmosphere was really nice and the building appeared clean...a good and pleasant place..
Had the best service we've had locally in years! Waitress may have been Michelle. Food was on point. Really enjoyed our comfort food. We'll be back soon.
Great Chicken Fried Stake and loaded bake potatos. Jeremy is Amazing ask for him every time and you will not be disappointed.. Jeremy treats you like family and leaves you with the warmth feeling that makes you want to come back !!! Thank you Jeremy!!!
We are not from the area and found this after searching done restaurant on Google maps. Very glad we did! Food and service was phenomenal! Highly recommend this place and wish they'd come to NC!
Food was great, nice portions and the service was great. Something you don’t see very often is the Manager came out to check on my food and experience. That’s a +. Becka gave great customer service. I recommend Cotton Patch in Wylie and I will be back!
Great chill atmosphere, and the food was delicious! Our waiter, Dragan, was so welcoming and polite and provided excellent service! He was very attentive! Great dinner experience!!
Had a great experience with our waiter Cole. He was excellent. Very courteous and attentive. Best waiter we have had in a long time.
This place was absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in, everything was on point—from the entrance to the booth and even the restroom, haha! The food was fantastic! My husband ordered a Ribeye steak, and he devoured it before I could snap a picture. Their customer service is something I’ve really missed while dining out lately. Thankfully, Taylor was incredibly thorough and helpful as we explored the menu for the first time. Cotton Patch Cafe in Texas is a solid 10/10! I highly recommend it! ❤️❤️❤️
My son bought the ham dinner for 6 at Thanksgiving. I'm 84 years and have cooked many meals but I must say the meal he brought to us was as good as any meal I've ever cooked. It was absolutely delicious, all of it was and we will be ordering the Christmas dinner as well.
We've been to many Cotton Patch Cafés. But this one in Wylie is incredible! It is off the chain fried green tomatoes, all the vegetables seasoned perfectly, our rolls were fresh and soft not too doughy not too hard, my meat and sides were delicious also the food was hot and fresh. Our waitress Synthia was on point, she treated us like celebrities. Had such a wonderful meal and enjoyed every thing she brought to the table! She is courteous and very kind. What an great dinner! Way to go Cotton Patch!
1st time trying out Cotton Patch. Best experience I’ve had at a sit down cafe. Our food came out fast and fresh. I Had the pork chop dinner, wife had the chicken fried steak. Crispy, delicious and not overly salty, like everyone else makes it. Our server, a cute young lady with glasses was very friendly and attentive. The manager Bozz came over and greeted us and checked on us. Love that the staff checks to see if you are enjoying the meal and ask how they can make experience better. Will add this restaurant to our rotation. Great job to the team, including kitchen staff, for making some awesome food, fresh!
Outstanding experience. Synthia was our exceptional waitress. She was very attentive, friendly & polite. We had the grilled salmon, baked sweet potato with cinnamon & sugar on the side, & black eyed peas, plus meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes & green beans. EXCELLENT!! I forgot to mention the warm, just out of the oven, rolls. We definitely will be back many more times! Thank you Synthia!
My first time eating there and the waiter was a little long to be seated and to get the food, but the place was packed so I understand why. The food!!!! Oh man. Amazing. Best chicken fried steak is ever had since my grandma and mom's cooking. Had a bite of my husband steak and just wooooooooow. Delicious. Our waitress so so nice and friendly, The hostess was as well. If you are looking for some good country home cooking, definitely come here.
I saw how crazy tonight was but I could also see that the staff worked relentlessly to give us the best experience possible. Our server Becca stayed calm through it all and made our experience a wonderful one that I hope to repeat one day. Will definitely return. The loaded baked potato was huuuuuge and tasted amazing. Deserves the five stars.
Mary is fantastic. I love the West Texas wings. They are so meaty and delicious. The small chicken fried steak is the perfect size for a guy trying to lose weight but still enjoy good food.
My server was Synthia she was really positive, she recommended me the salmon salad it was one of the best salad I've had in my entire life. Her smile lit up the whole Cotton Patch. Also every time I heard her talking she was so excited and just had such a amazing energy. I would definitely recommend this place, and her as you're waitress. 5/5.😊
We tried this place one evening while in the area and were greeted right away by the hostess who seated us. Our server came and got our drink order and then returned for our food order. Our first trip we ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and my partner ordered the Big Texas BLT. We order Fried Mushrooms and Fried Green Tomatoes. The Fried Mushrooms were fresh mushrooms hand battered and fried to perfections. Some of the best fried mushrooms we ever had. The Fried Green Tomatoes were fried perfectly and so delicious. The Chicken Fried Steak was cook just like mom used to make and was very tasty. The Big Texas BLT was so delicious and not short on the Bacon. Our server was very helpful and friendly. We found the restaurant very clean as were the restrooms. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. If you have any issues ask for Boz who will make it right. We definitely will be coming here again and again.
Home cooking is alive and well in Wylie Tx. You will find it at Cotton Patch Cafe The special today was meatloaf, green beans, mashed potatoes, and hot rolls. All for $ 9.99 Specials for lunch featured daily. The menu has a wide selection. The service was excellent and food well prepared A must dining place to add as a favorite.
This was my first experience at the Cotton Patch and it did not disappoint! I was greeted by our friendly server Aspen with a basket of warm yeast rolls which I was definitely not expecting and a wonderful surprised. Who doesn’t love freshly baked warm yeast rolls?? Amazing. The chicken and dumplins were better than my mom’s (I won’t tell her that) and the steak fingers and meatloaf were superb. The restaurant was clean and tidy and our drinks always topped off. We will be back :)
Cotton Patch is an easy go to when you can't decide where to go. My grandpa, who likes his southern cooking, ate here for the first time. For a Sunday morning, there was no wait despite them being fairly busy! We were greeted warmly and got to ordering. Sunday is the vegetable platter special, which is my go to anyway, so it was nice getting some good savings. My grandpa really enjoyed the rolls and enjoyed the chicken fried chicken. He also said the oakra was amazing. From start to finish, we had a great meal! Georgia was our server and was so kind, patient, and really added to the pleasant experience! Thank you Georgia for an amazing lunch! Give the compliments to the cooks as well. We will definitely add this to our rotation.
Excellent service very friendly staff. Great server. Deliciuos food. First time I have been out since December. Had open heart surgery in Dec and unable to do anything. Great service and people. Thank you my wife says thanks for the Bread pudding. It topped the meal off.
Wow! Amazing value for quality food. The manager (Boz) greeted us at the door and we were seated promptly. Comfortable booth and country decor was warm and inviting. They have a $9.99 weekday special menu and today was chicken fried chicken. It was moist, crunchy with just the right amount of gravy. 2 sides and complimentary rolls filled me up (wife brought half of hers home). Server Carla kept our drinks fresh and checked on us frequently. Highly recommend for value, friendliness, and freshness. Will definitely be back.
Ok, full disclosure. About five years ago, the last time my family and I ate at Cotton Patch Café, the experience was very poor. It was so bad I gave it two stars. And that was generous. This was at the Rockwall location and we both vowed to not visit a Cotton Patch again. Well five years later and we change our mind. Now even though we have visited the Wylie location in the past and had not so great service, the experience was better than the other location. So we take the 40 minute drive over. We get there and were instantly greeted by the host and he took us to our table. The waiter came by and asked us what we would like to drink. When he came back we needed a few more minutes to peruse the menu. He was totally fine with it and gave us the time that we needed. We started off with an appetizer of some fried green tomatoes. Perfectly fried and paired up with their signature avocado ranch. Delicious. When he brought them to the table he took our main course order. My wife wanted the chicken and dumplings with a side of the cinnamon apples, my son got the chicken tenders and fries, and I got the chicken fried chicken with the jalapeno gravy. Everything was just great. A complete 360 of our last visit. So based on this visit, I would recommend this location to anyone who asked.
BEST CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN EVER!!! BEST MEATLOAF EVER!! I go to Cotton Patch every Tuesday & Wednesday for the CFC and Meatloaf. You can't get a better deal.for.$9.99. The wait staff are Awesome and very friendly. The potions are amazing and you definitely get your money's worth. Come check it out for yourself. You wont be disappointed!!
The food was amazing! The service was awesome! The manager even came by to make sure our food was good and our experience was going well. Definitely recommend if you are craving a home cooked meal! Meal
We ate here almost a year ago because the food was very disappointing. Today we came back and surprised the taste of the food has changed drastically improved!! The best chicken fried steak by far and the meat loaf was very moist and delicious! My husband and I very satisfied compared to ourlast year experience. Totally recommend this place. Great food great service!
Food was great! Rolls are worth going for, and our waitress, Mary made sure we got some that were well done! Well done, brown rolls with extra butter... yummy! Thank you, Mary and Boz (the manager) for the lovely meal, and peaceful atmosphere!
Today I went into Cotton Patch in Wylie and I have to say , our waitress was not the best but very friendly. I was needing some Heinz 57 and our regular waitress was no where to be found. Another waitress by the name of Synthia was walking by and I asked her for some Heinz 57. As she brought one of the tables she was waiting on she brought out the bottle for me. Let me just say Synthia was going from table to table asking if her customers needed anything. She waited on her customers with a smile and had the best customer service I have seen. Although she wasn’t our waitress, she had such a light that shines while working and taking care of others. I wanted to be sure she is recognized and this location sure is lucky to have a fabulous person working for them. I say give her a raise and be sure to tell her she is doing a fabulous job. Give her a promotion and let other staff members train under her. That’s how amazing she is.
First time visiting a Cotton Patch Restaurant and I was greatly impressed. Hostess was quick to greet us and seated us promptly. The server was prompt, friendly and helpful. Made a few suggestions, which we took and enjoyed the fried cheese bites as an appetizer. The hot rolls and cinnamon butter were divine..The appetizer came out right on time, hot and delicious. Our lunch entrees were the chicken fried steak with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli rice that would rival any served at a holiday dinner: cheesy, creamy and delicious. The CFS was huge with the right ratio of crust to tender steak. It was the lunch special for $9.99! There is no way you can find this quality and quantity anywhere else. The specials change daily. My lunch mate had the chicken fried chicken. Again, huge portions and only a couple of dollars more. We didn't have room for dessert but they looked tempting. The manager on duty greeted each table and asked how things were. I haven't seen a restaurant do that in a long time. I am greatly impressed with the hospitality, quality, quantity and prices. The excellent service at this Cotton Patch added up to a very enjoyable lunch! I'll be in town a few more days and plan on going back! Great job!
My wife and I went here for dinner Saturday evening. We haven’t really been in a while because a couple of years ago we were visiting more often but we had multiple bad experiences so we decided to stop coming. We were so pleasantly surprised by our visit this time! Emma H. was a great server. Brought refills on drinks without asking (which seems rare these days no matter where you go) very nice and great service. The food was so good! I got the chicken fried steak and I’m pretty sure they have the best in the area. The baked squash was amazing! My wife got the patty melt and she really enjoyed it. It is safe to say that this visit brought us back around to where we will started coming back more often.
Free bread to start. Excellent service by ERIC. Comfort food. $10 dinner options. Too stuffed for $5 Wednesday dessert special. Enjoyed dinner for 2 with tip @$30 . To enhance atmosphere management should fix the one of 2 out of order sinks in the ladies room and turn the Giant Neon Cotton Patch Cafe on inside during open hours. If it's broken fix it. It's the BRAND LOGO.
I came in for dinner…food was great, but my server was really busy and took forever to get a drink refill.
8/1/21 Great food, good service, my appetizer arrive after my entree but good nine the less. Reasonable prices. 7/31/21 I eat at this restaurant whenever I'm in TX. This is my 2nd time at this location. Great service, excellent food for the price. Friendly staff and clean place. _-------- 4years ago Not as fast or consistent as the one near my home in Arlington. Salmon salad was bland and salmon was salty. Slow on refills.
I had such a great experience dining at Cotton Patch, thanks to our server, Jeramey! From the moment we were seated, he was incredibly attentive and made us feel genuinely welcome. Jeramey was not only friendly and personable, but also had a great sense of humor that made our visit even more enjoyable. He took the time to walk us through the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. You could tell he really cared about providing great service and connecting with his guests. It’s rare to find a server who’s both professional and so naturally kind. Jeramey made our dinner memorable, and we’ll definitely be asking for him again next time we visit!
It gets 4 stars because of the staff friendliness, but I'd give a 3.5 overall. Everybody was very pleasant, but service was a bit slow. The cheese fries were great, along with the rolls and the chicken fried chicken. I added grilled chicken to the child's spaghetti, and it was a little dry. My mashed potatoes had a slight 'sitting under a heat lamp waiting to be served' film on the top, such I easily removed. The potatoes and green beans were good. The restroom was clean, and the interior and exterior of the restaurant were as well.
We were here on December 15th and everything was pretty good. I had the chicken fried pork sandwich with onion rings. It was pretty good. We also had the Nacogdoches Burger with fries and I was it was really good. I tried their Texas Southern Sweet Tea and it was really good. The service was really good too. We've been here several times and we will keep coming back.
I like cotton patch and enjoy the food but why in the world would you give a bogo promotion and not be able to handle it. Had to cancel along with many others also that were there to pick up orders that the wait for orders would be 90 minutes. A lot of upset customer and money lost out the door. My order was high priced order. Now have to wait 3-5 business days to get my card refunded. I know that restaurant has struggled and was happy to hear of a new manager but there will be no customers with a 90 minute wait for your online order. That restaurant needs an overhaul. Often times its completely empty and dont know how they can make a profit to having customers and more than half asking for refunds and going elsewhere. Its sad and I'm sure I'm not the only one saying the same thing. I hope someone in corporate reads this and help this restaurant
Mary is an excellent server. She is very informed and personable. The only negative I have is the portion size was a little small for the price (fried fish). Other than that our experience was great. We look forward to coming back.

Update: Dec 2019 This was the 2nd time I've been and this time, our server was not too good. She only checked on us 1 time and I had to ask another waitress passing by to get our waitress to get some water. Then the other 2 times we ran out of water and my wife's DP, I had to flag her down both times. I noticed how several of the waitresses were just hanging out with their friends. I recognize they may be off the clock but the customers don't know. However, our waitress was definitely on the clock when we saw her visiting and giving hugs with what we could tell was a former employee. She spent about 5 minutes with them while our drinks were empty then instead of checking on us, she walked the other direction that I had to flag her down again. The food was great, but this time around, the service was not good. Compared to TXRH which I eat at monthly, the service is awesome consistently! I've dropped my rating down to 3 from 5. ======================================= Elizabeth was our server, and she was awesome. She kept our waters flowing and swung by to check on us often. She was very friendly and we could see she was well-trained. Great customer service, and knows how to take care of her clients. The food was good and so was the dessert. I had the peach cobbler and that was good too. The only thing is if I had known the peach cobbler was served cold, I would have asked to warm it up. Otherwise the food was great and the service was awesome.
We went on a Monday night for their chicken fried steak night. The fried pickles were good, and so were the rolls. The chicken fried steak was also good, although I think the gravy could use a bit more flavor. Now, after getting our fried pickles, it was over THIRTY MINUTES until we got our chicken fried steak. My 4 year old daughter was starving and I had a hard time trying to keep her from eating her fourth roll. Plus my husband and I were also hungry, and we just sat there saying “okay” every time the server came by and told us our food would be out soon. (It wasn’t) The food was good, the service okay, but the wait time to get our meals will probably keep us from returning.
The Cotton Patch Cafe used to be my number one place for southern comfort food. Recently, I have noticed certain aspects of each experience that have not gone very well. I will say that the staff is always friendly and helpful when trying to decide on what to eat. However, a restaurant is not made on wait staff alone. While the majority of our food was good, a few dishes lacked the quality I would expect from a Cotton Patch Cafe. The fries that accompanied my dish were stale and not very fresh. My wife loves the fried green tomatoes, but was disappointed when they arrived without half of the breading. All in all, these aren't necessarily things that will ruin my meal, but they didn't enhance the experience at all. Honestly, if the wait staff wasn't so nice and friendly, a lower star rating would have been given. I will be back to give this restaurant another chance.

Had not been to Cotton Patch in a few years, decided to give it another try, and was pleased with the food a few times. The other day ordered the Pork Chop plate on a to-go order. It was raw, it looked raw when I opened the container, and it was. The vegetables on the plate were good, which accounts for the two rating, but not worth the gamble in the future.
I bought two catfish basket. One order was with fries and the other with okra. The fries and okra were so under portioned I felt taken advantage of. The fish was good. The under sized portions on sides was a surprise. I’ve placed this order in the past and found it great, this time not so much.
We ordered the Turkey Holiday Dinner for 6. All I can say is that we were very disappointed in the food. Only item that was good were the Sweet Potatoes. The Dressing was & tasted as if it was Stove Top Dressing lol. Not actual cornbread dressing. Green beans were very watery & tasteless. We will Never again order Holiday Dinner from this establishment again

Dont use their delivery service or you could be left without food. They blamed doordash but thej the girl said they where slammed, orders had been cancelled and they didn't even know what food they had if I could even make it to the store before they closed. Their excuses for their inability to keep up in the kitchen and leave customers just flat hungry is unacceptable and I'll take my business elsewhere.
Today I tried cotton patch for the first time. I’ve been told that it’s a good place to go eat and cheap. This is cheap, but could that be the reason why the food was so tasteless I ordered the chicken fried steak. I felt like I was trying to chew gum and trying to swallow it I choked on it a couple of times and I ordered the fried fish and got the kids meal chicken tenders with fries and macaroni and cheese, just to say that nothing had taste completely destroyed my taste bugs This place is good for people that have no taste bugs Or just wants to eat something cheap I will never go there again. It’s pretty disgusting.🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
One of the bad experiences. Server does not care about the job for sure. Taking order was a rush, , we asked for sweet tea she said isnt available till later needs to be brewed. We ask for unsweetened with sugar on the side .. no napkins . Dinner was 50 min late . We almost left .. Finaly the food came missing sides .. kids burger and fries were cold, mac and cheese dry like were kept under a heating lamp for a long time .... one of the chicken fried stakes came in 3 pcs.with a small amount of gravy. We missing dinner rolls .. we ask our server. She said that she asked us but we declined..we never had that conversation. We ask for kids Ice cream scoop and was like a 1/4 scooped out of a regular scoop .. This is not what we expected ..
Waited 25+ minutes for a DoorDash order while staff kept saying it was “being packed,” yet helped customers who arrived after me. I was ignored and misled while working. This hurts drivers and customers. Completely unprofessional. Corporate needs to take action.
I'm down rating the Wiley location because they continuously missed the croutons on our salads. It's gotten to where I don't think I'll be ordering from them anymore. Additionally, today's order has a mysterious, inedible, clearly metal residue on the rolls. Fortunately, the rolls are so gross I would never consider eating them any way. But they insist on including them.
We were very disappointed in our takeout order. I ordered well done no pink and received pink and red meat. On top of that the garlic mashed potatoes were undercooked as well as the okra. I called the store spoke with the manager. He asked me to send him a picture so I did. He then turned and sent me a free appetizer only if I order another entree. I will not be returning to Cotton Patch period. I usually go to the in Rockwall until their food started becoming horrible plus I saw to much unsanitary issues while waiting for my to go order and when I ate at the restaurant. So I started going to this one in Wiley and now their food has become horrible. It was good at first. Never again!
I’d give this place 5stars if it was for AK, I’ve been in many times over the past 3-4 years and I LOVE him. However there is this dirty old man who said his name was Boz was rudely talking to his staff and customers, he seems to always be walking through the restaurant on his phone unbothered. We needed assistance on our bill, and he took a long time to assist us, and was dismissive. However AK was fantastic and made up for the poor management. It’s just not something I expect to see when coming into a restaurant.
I wanted to follow up regarding my recent order for pick-up, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations. The portion size of the food was smaller than anticipated, and I was disappointed with the overall experience. When I reached out to discuss this with the manager, I was offered a coupon as compensation. While I appreciate the offer, I do not feel that this adequately resolves the situation, particularly given the lack of value for the price paid. As a result, I have decided that I will not be returning. I wanted to share this feedback to help ensure that other customers do not have a similar experience
Terrible experience with this place today. It began and ended with server CYNTHIA, a Hispanic lady with tattoos on her neck. She initially asked for our drink orders, but passed us off to someone else (a nice, white waitress) who was a waitress at the tables in the front of the restaurant while we sat in the back of the restaurant. Noticed that CYNTHIA was very chummy with the white customers, but passed us off like we were nothing and didn't even mention that this was happening. The other waitress brought us our drinks and took our food orders. If you're passing off customers to another waitress, say so and explain why. I guess CYNTHIA doesn't like serving black customers. It amazes me how it always seems to be minority women who mistreat black people the most. Maybe she had a stereotype in her mind that black people don't tip well. Just so happens that the black people she mistreated today, one of them is a millionaire and an entrepreneur. You got to be careful with how you treat people, especially someone at her social level. Definitely won't be returning here, and being that Wylie is so diverse, it's surprising that a place like this exists in Wylie. Black people should really avoid this place! Hell, I'm surprised the hostess was black.
I want to be able to give a five star review, as I've ordered Cotton Patch several times through Uber Eats, and have always enjoyed the meal - especially the delicious cream gravy and generous portion size. So I was surprised and dismayed when my most recent order of the chicken fried chicken contained literally half the amount of chicken and green beans I've gotten before, for the same price as before. Taste is great, presentation is fine - but the severely reduced portion size without adjusting the price was a huge disappointment as a repeat customer. A month ago, a chicken fried chicken meal would be more than enough food for me... now it doesn't even fill me up! The value for the dollar used to be a huge factor for me choosing Cotton Patch, so I'm sad this has changed.
First time in town looking for good meal. Menu was nice I was going to order a rib steak and the mushrooms off the appetizer listing. Instead I was seated and 3 other tables seated after me were waited on. I was there at the table 15 minutes and no one ever came to my table. When approached the host she was equally as bad with her service and response. Stay clear of The Cotton Patch if you are looking for good or any type of service.
I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to share my disappointing experience. I ordered a 12oz sirloin steak, cooked well-done. When I cut into it at home, it was very undercooked inside and surrounded by it's own blood. The meat looked unappetizing, and I didn't feel well after eating it. I hope the restaurant will consider this feedback and address the issue.
