I’m here for the second time after coming the first time for happy hour oysters! The food is great, the seafood is all fresh and very tasty and the staff is super friendly. After a few less satisfactory happy hour oyster excursions, the Dive is a pleasant turnaround. The bright, colorful decor creates a fun and refreshing atmosphere, while the owner goes above and beyond to ensure an outstanding dining experience. My mom absolutely loves this place and now my girlfriend does too haha. 10/10 recommend
I had lunch with my family today, and it was an absolutely fantastic meal. The sprouts with feta cheese and onions were incredibly delicious – the flavors blended together perfectly. I highly recommend it! The soft shell crab was also amazing. I ordered the cioppino mild, and it was just right – not spicy at all, with plenty of seafood and a generous portion size. The raw oysters were incredibly fresh and tasty. And the bread pudding for dessert was heavenly! I can't wait to go back again soon. Thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff for making our family outing wonderful!
Was craving Cajun and Creole cuisine, so I made the drive out to Yorba Linda for my weekly date night. And lemme tell you- The Dive Oyster Bar is the place to go! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing. The flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We ordered a dozen oysters (there were four different ones available, so we got 3 of each and loved them all), Sprouts (10/10), shared a bowl of chowder (best chowder I’ve had yet), and for entrees we got a House Specialty Pan Roast and Cajun Lobster Pasta. Both were phenomenal. To finish, we shared a S’mores Bread Pudding. Literally a perfect date night. In this day and age, it is so expensive to go out, it feels risky. But we are so glad we chose The Dive for dinner; we will definitely be back again soon. Our server, Jordan, provided phenomenal service, making sure we had everything we needed and offering great recommendations. We also had the pleasure of meeting Brady, the kettle cook, who gave an impressive presentation that added to the experience. Everything about this place—from the food to the service—was top-tier. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
My boyfriend and I had an amazing meal tonight at The Dive in Yorba Linda. We ordered the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Grilled Cheese and Pan Roast, Jambalaya, and Beignets. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere was also awesome and our server Omar was exceptional! I’m looking forward to my next visit!
I went with my sibling’s family, and we ordered the pan roast, jambalaya, cioppino, and fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious, and even the kids loved it! We sat on the patio, and the atmosphere was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back next time with my friends!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an incredible experience at The Dive Oyster Bar. We ordered 6 Kumamoto and 6 Steamboat oysters. Absolutely worth every penny. The clam chowder was next level with cheese, bacon, and green onions. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. We definitely over ordered (also got the fish and chips), but no regrets. We left stuffed and happy. Shoutout to Ernesto who took amazing care of us. Whoever hired or trained him deserves a raise. He was super attentive, helpful, and genuinely made the meal even better. We’ll be back!
Awesome place to have in Yorba Linda! Something us locals have all been waiting for and they did not disappoint! We sat at the bar and enjoyed our dinner with some drinks. The staff was amazing, oysters were great, lobster pasta was phenomenal, and chowder was “homey”. Definitely coming back here!
I think it's a new restaurant in town. Very clean, very spacious, and the food was EXCELLENT. Service was just as good, our server was on top of everything and even the manager was very attentive. I'm definitely coming back to get the jambalaya again and excited to try their other menus as well 10/10!!
Had Christmas Day meal here and was perfect. So happy we found some really good cajun/creole food in the area. Service was beyond excellent, and we had various starters and entrees. Both were plenty for sharing, so we all got tastes of everything. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. While non seafood options were limited, the pan roast with chicken and andouille sausage was awesome (and you can adjust the spice level). I did not ask, but wonder if there is a option for just chicken and sausage for the Jambalaya? Topped off the meal with a luxurious bread pudding.....YUM!! If you have been craving cajun, this is your place. Hopefully when we go back I can add info on the Oyster Bar!!! Enjoy!
Dinner was really great. Food was prepared and served quickly. Everything was tasty. We ordered the popcorn crawfish and fish and chips.
The staff was not only attentive but also genuinely friendly, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was top-notch. Of couse, their warm hospitality perfectly complemented the high-quality menu. I was particularly impressed with the soft shell crab, fresh oysters, and the hearty cioppino. The vibrant cajun and creole at its best. Highly recommended!!!
Great place! Service was great. Even though they’ve only been opened a week the whole team was spot on for friendliness and service. Eddie and Omar behind the bar were gracious and knowledgeable. The owner, Tay, came up to me and asked me which oysters I had and if I liked them. He asked my name and shook my hand. The personal touch speaks volumes. I can’t wait to go back.

The Dive in Yorba Linda is one of our new favorite spots! Our server Ernesto this last visit was super friendly and in point! The food is very tasty food like the soft shell crab bites, pan roast and chicken Alfredo are absolutely tasty and creamy! They have a great wine and beer selection and the ambience is family friendly with trendy fresh atmosphere and decor! Highly suggest!
The Dive Oyster Bar is a low-key gem with amazing Happy Hour seafood deals. We got $2 oysters that tasted like they were just pulled from the ocean, cold and super fresh. The steamed clams and mussels were rich, garlicky, and comforting, served with crusty French bread. The star of the meal was the lobster roll, packed with meat and great seasoning. The decor is fun, nautical, breezy, and modern. It felt like a mini escape. Staff were welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Loved the energy and how relaxed everything felt. I’ll definitely be coming back, this spot deserves way more hype!
I had a wonderful experience at The Dive Oyster bar in Yorba Linda. We started with the Cheesy Shrimp and Grits and the Fish & Chips. Both of which were fantastic! The shrimp and grits were creamy and flavorful, and the fish was perfectly crispy without being greasy. For our mains, we enjoyed the Gumbo and the Traditional Pan Roast with rice. The Gumbo was hearty and comforting, while the pan roast stood out with its rich creamy sauce and perfectly balanced spices. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel bourbon sauce. It was the perfect sweet ending to the meal! The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the option of outdoor seating. I would highly recommend The Dive to anyone looking for delicious Southern-inspired seafood in a friendly and inviting setting.
I visited The Oyster Bar in Yorba Linda about a month ago with a fellow church member. Until then, I had no idea what Louisiana Cajun dishes were like. Trying the traditional pan roast with pasta and gumbo for the first time was an amazing experience. It really opened my eyes (and taste buds) to the world of Cajun cuisine. My church friend, who’s a huge Cajun food fan, said it was the best gumbo he’s had since visiting Louisiana. I personally loved the flavors savory, light, and clean. That unique Cajun taste made a lasting impression on me... just thinking about it makes me hungry again! And I can’t forget to mention their Cajun fries, absolutely awesome! Even my kid, who’s very picky about food, gave them two thumbs up. These guys really know how to cook. I also tried the bread pudding for dessert. It totally hit the spot. It was so good, I definitely failed my diabetic diet that day... but no regrets!
We were a party of 7. Our server was Taylor. She is very friendly informative and attentive. We wanted for nothing because she was on it. She explained menu items and brought all the extras for our 4 year old. The food was very flavorful and abundant. I splurged on oysters and they were fresh fresh fresh. I also had steamers and the rest had pan roast selections and fish and chips. Soft shell crab for appetizers were delicious. They need coors light for my better half but he made it with another selection. Absolutely quaint little place. Thank you Taylor for a great birthday splurge!!! Chefs kiss!!!
We took my elderly parents here for their 65th wedding anniversary dinner... my mom wanted a Fried Oyster Po Boy like she remembered from her childhood in New Orleans. I shared this info when I made my reservation, including asking for a more quiet area of the restaurant, and confirming they had the menu item. The team at the Yorba Linda location was absolutely delightful and accommodated us in every way. The service was top-notch and so friendly! We had fried calamari (which was very well seasoned) and popcorn crawfish, which we'd never had before and was so good! They were served with a homemade garlic aioli and were good sized portions. We all ordered the Oyster Po Boy, which was different then what my mom had in NOLA, but was still tasty. Sides included clam chowder, and cajun fries. Yum! If you're looking for good food, a nice, casual location, and outstanding service, I highly recommend. Thank you again!
My first time trying this location. I don’t eat raw oysters but the fried ones were great. Catfish po boy was also out standing. A bowl of clam chowder was also very nice. They have lunch specials which I thought were very budget friendly.
Everything on the menu I’ve had the chance to try so far is amazing 🤩 oysters are crazy fresh and pair incredibly well with their drink selections, especially the beer list. 10/10 spot. Great vibe, great music, great food. One of the best spots in OC hands down (and yes that includes Newport)

Newly opened seafood restaurant in a plaza off Yorba Linda Blvd, next to CVS. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of parking via the shared plaza parking lot. Service was average, ambiance was cute, and food was fine. Their oysters are more expensive than nearby restaurants and I couldn't really find a compelling reason why I'd choose to come here vs the less costly options. Not only that, for being an oyster bar, they only had 4 types of oysters on their menu. They also make you pay electronically at the table, having to tip your waiter on the spot, which I do not like.
