There is a lot of excitement locally about this place as evidenced by my 45 minute wait in the drive thru line at lunchtime yesterday. Many years ago, my first job was at a newly opened chain restaurant and I remember what the frenzy was like upon the grand opening, so I empathize with the crew. They were courteous and apologetic for the delay. Happy to see local youth gainfully employed. But, most importantly... best chicken sandwich I have had since I can remember. I got a spicy chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised that it had as much "kick" as it did. Spicier than I thought it would be, and delicious! Chicken cooked perfectly. I will probably ask for extra pickles next time! Cajun fries are also tasty. I'd never been to a Popeye's before, but now I have, and I would take it over Chik-Fil-A every day of the week. Going to wait for the enthusiasm to level off a bit before returning, but soon this is going to be a semi regular indulgence when I'm working from home.

I had to get help with using a deal from email that I could not get to work on a mobile order. Dave said to come inside and ask for him. He was a great help and I felt the other staff was attentive as well. Great tasting grilled tenders.

Had the famous chicken sandwich and this location has the markers of a Bad Popeyes, trying to fry too much chicken at once lowers the oil temp and makes for really greasy food. Curious how this place had a 5/5 rating and I see it, someone paid a bunch of people to give fake 5/5's.

Yummy chicken. I remember when people in Yorktown were complaining about the potential riff raff that would invade our community if we let Popeyes in. Really the only people there are everyone who loves chicken. No gangs 🙄and you can get coupons through the mail as prices have gone up.

I always go to the drive through, never had any problems, customer service is always top tier, food is always good, last week the manager I believe his name is Harn, not sure if I’m getting his name wrong, he made my daughter day with the really good yummy slushy.

My family, friends and myself were all looking forward to this Popeyes restaurant opening in our area. I’ve eaten there twice since they opened at it was really good. The wait is pretty long around dinner time, but it’s well worth it. The owner and staff handle it real well and are pretty efficient for drive thru lines that reach out to Route 202 sometimes. They even have security handling traffic. Keep up the good work!!’ll be going there at least twice a week, including tonight after work.

Just recently accidentally went through the drive through and placed an order during a dry run for the workers when they were not officially opened yet, and they were still kind enough to still give me my order. Everyone was very kind, had great spirit, and the food was great. Thank you for the kind gesture - happy to come back and give you business when you are officially open!

Awesome quick meal. The food was good. I overheard a certain man being very rude and pushy with his workers. I'm not sure what that situation was about, but I hope it's not like that all the time here, I would never go back if so. Just out of principle. Whoever this man was, it was disappointing to bring my family to eat at the restaurant and here you bullying the workers. Do better.

Their fried chicken is delicious and the sides are better than KFC's. Biscuits are awesome and the sauces are great. Portions are so big one 5 piece chicken tenders is too big for both my daughters to finish. Kids love it.

I am happy to get to try the New Popeyes today for lunch which had it's grand opening in January 2021. The food was very good and the staff is very generous in giving out a large bag of fries. I haven't been to any other Popeyes that gives out a large bag of fries at all than this place and this place is the first to give out large bag of fries if you order them. The chicken sandwiches are really good and if you want some flavor, I highly recommend you go for the spicy chicken sandwich. Moreover, if you are really hungary when you go and eat there after you finish exercising like I did, I would recommend getting a side order of french fries because they give you a generous amount of fries. As a customer, with the chicken sandwiches and fries, I am glad to say that the fries and the sandwich stuffed me up really good.

The reason i’m giving them onyl 4 stars is because the manager tried to let half the line cut me and i had to let him know i wouldn’t be allowing that. The girl at the window, Ava, was the absolute best she was the sweetest and helped us with our order issue.

I'm glad to finally have a Popeyes in the area! They are new and working out some kinks like handling the online ordering, but the food is good and the service is fast. Avoid the drive thru and go inside

First time eating Popeye's n It was good! Fast food these days are pricey!! When it came time to pay, it was more than what stated on screen. Now, not every1 may catch it but, I'm a mathematician. I questioned them about n after 3 staffers they said that a specific ingredient cost more so they had 2 charge more. As a customer, If properly informed, I would've made another selection. Ordered chicken sandwich with fries, but instead, it was mashed potatoes and gravy. The sandwich was dry a bit bland, same with the fries. The chicken wings with garlic sauce are so delicious.

I used the drive this visit and because this is one of Popeye's newer location the community really likes it, it stays busy. The wait on line wasn't too bad. order was taken quickly and my food was brought out to my car to me. Overall, service was good food was freshly prepare and taste the Popeye way.!!!

Chicken dippers, ghost pepper chicken sandwhich and honey mustard chicken wrap were all delicious. The ghost pepper samdwhich was Flavorful, spicey but not overpowering. The dippers were tender and delicious especially with the Popeyes signature dipping sauce. The honey mustard wrap was good, would be better if the chicken was cut up in it. Popeyes fries are delicious.

Their chicken is really good. Be sure to use their app because there are many offers available that make the prices much more reasonable. I'm always amazed at people who walk in and order at the counter and get ripped off. Service is slow, order ahead.

Drive through Line need to move faster. Food is good if you looking for something inexpensive and fast. I mean...who doesn't love that chicken from Popeyes?

I spent an hour waiting(drive thru) and they left out three things from my order. Great food, but I was a little disappointed when I got home after waiting for so long

Needed to make 3 trips in a row over weekends to nyc and chose the tachonic parkway to avoid the tolls. Needed a break just before the city and chanced upon this Popeyes. The ratings are a result of 3 visits where the food quality was consistently a 4 but the service seemed to degrade. I was last served by a youngster who clearly didn’t want to be doing what he was doing and communicated in their own way. I guess Que sera sera but did take starts from the Rating. Chicken and fries weee consistently very good. I would avoid the Mac and cheese as this was a gooey congealed mass.

I pre ordered a chicken sandwich and fries...in 2 minutes I arrived for a walk in pick up..stood where the sign is to "pickup mobile orders" and was ignored. My fries were cold and the sandwich mediocre. It was dry and kind of flavorless....the bun a little soggy from the foil bag they use. I would have loved extra pickle but no option on the app..just like no option for a smaller drink..might try again the parking is a night mare

Consistency is needed. One week the food was fantastic, nice and crispy, delicious. The next it was so soggy I thought they dropped it in the sink. Get it together, you aren't making 5 star meals here. Consistency will go a long way with your customers. I want you guys to stay in business.

I’m a big fan of Popeyes but at this particular location the chicken tenders I always get that are juicy with flavor, were dry and tasted almost stale. Not worth the 30 min wait on the drive thru.

We usually go through drive thru every once in awhile and haven’t had any issues with food and service. Just got home, took a bite of the biscuit and the taste was not good. Tasted almost moldy/expired. There is no visible mold, but that’s the only way I can label the taste. Very unpleasant. Made me feel uneasy about eating the rest of the food and having my toddlers eat it as well. Specially after reading other reviews and food related illnesses.

SLOW getting our order out. Way too slow for a "fast food" joint. Otherwise it was your basic Popeyes.

Placed an order on door dash and not only did they mess up one of the orders they completely forgot one of the meals entirely. Then when I tried to get it redelivered their system glitched. Very poor experience from here.

Began the experience with a employee that seem like we bother his life or something. Was unpleasant and seem like he doesn't care. Once finally got home we got a wrong soda and missing a cocktail sauce.

I placed an online order and when I went inside to pick up, I saw a sign hanging off the ceiling that indicates mobile order and a metal counter nearby. I assumed that that's where online orders would be placed for pickup, but no. You have to get the sole cashier's attention to ask about your order. Being that it was rather busy I decided to get on line and wait my turn to speak with the cashier. When I made it to her I asked about my order she turned around and pulled a receipt that was hanging behind her amongst many receipts and handed it to another worker, turned to me and said "it should be 2 minutes". 15 mins later I got my order. I leave, drive home (15 mins), only to discover two chickens sandwiches were missing...stupid me, I didn't check before I left.

The line was long so we parked and walked inside to place our order. There was a couple sitting at a table. We read the menu and tried to place our order this is when he became frustrating. The person at the register was totally not willing or unable to assist us with our order. Questions by us were met with no response. It took over 10 to 15 minutes to our order to finally be filled. Wow!!

I normally don't patronize fast food businesses. I find that their food is not healthy, and are overrated and pricey. The people at the registers are too pushy, even when you stay away from the registers, while making a decision. If you are not in front of the counter, they should wait until you are in front of the counter. Clients stay away from the counter for a reason. Food was too greasy, cold and stealth or mushy. The location was cold, even in the center of the premise. Not a grand choice for healthy food.

Placed an order and it was all wrong. I ordered Breast and wing. I received breast and thigh. I ordered spicy and it was not spicy I received regular chicken that was VERY salty. I was so happy about Popeyes coming to our area but it looks like I will have to take a trip to another location until this place gets it together. I will say the customer service is top notch and I really appreciate good service.

My son eats here a couple times per week. Today I was in there picking up a door dash and ordered food for my son. While I was waiting I noticed that the girl making the sandwiches went to the sink washed her hands with her gloves on dried them and continued making sandwiches. I was so mortified. I immediately got the guy whom I believe is the franchise owner and reported it. I’m sorry that was disgusting.

I ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches as well as Cajun fries and a small fountain drink, which was ok. Nothing much to write home to. The sauce was lacking and the cashier didn't even provide me an option for sauces. I ordered for dine in. Kinda tiny and had one register with one employee managing it. There were a few other employees in the kitchen and at the fries station. I wanted to get ketchup and other sauces and I had to wait and wave down an employee to help me. It took a good few minutes to finally get someone to acknowledge me and I was 2ft away separated by a counter. I think the manager should do something about allocating employees to different jobs, so not to have long lines and happy customer service.

Service is absolutely tardy and at times unprofessional. Been giving this particular Popeyes a pass for their bungling, but no more passes. Worker went maliciously went their to delay my order after complaining about how long the process was taking; processed the order after me and stated, "thank you for being patient." That's cool, because I'm patiently writing this review for your extremely tardy approach to fast food service.

I placed a mobile order for a specific time and when I arrived it was ready for me. However, the food was not good at all. The chicken was very bland and the coating was light. It’s almost as if they added zero seasoning. The fries turned into an amalgamated mess. Very gross.

DO NOT USE THE APP!! Multiple times when I've used the app to order and go through the drive through, they tell me the order isn't ready and to come back in five minutes. These are small orders, with nobody behind me in the drive thru. This has never happened when I ordered through the speaker. Tonight they told me to come back on five minutes, but instead I pulled around front and walked in. It was thirty seconds later and my food was bagged and sitting atop the metal heating structure. I'll need to figure out how to get rewards outside of the app. Edit: on top of it, they left all the chicken finger sauces out. Somehow we have eight packets of honey but not the ketchup or sauces we requested in the app with the meals. Just don't use the app, I guess.

Ordered door dash spent $60 on the order and all they sent was a wrong item and only was 1 item when I ordered 8. I don’t know if it’s because it was late or because the staff was to lazy but now I have to wait a week for a refund and still have to figure out food for my kids.

Still waiting on being paid from work that was completed last year. I should of charged them in full before I did the work. Just like you pay before you get the food you ordered!

After waiting for close to an hour for food my order was completely wrong . The Woman at the window repeated my order back to me but when I got home it wasn’t close to what I ordered. Spent close to $50 dollars last night order was totally messed up rice was hard chicken was overcooked and not the pieces I ordered I also ordered mash potatoes got home and they gave me 3 rice and beans when I ask for 2 mashed potatoes and 1 order of rice and beans I’m not very happy at all !!!!! I ordered using the mobile app and the order said it didn’t go through, however, it charged my card twice. I then went into the store and asked about the charges I was told that it would go away, and shoed away. I waited in line to make my order, I told what I wanted and it was repeated back to me correctly. What was on the Receipt was not what was repeated back to me or what I ordered. What was in the bag also was not what was on the receipt or what I ordered. While in the store I didn’t bother to check what was in my bag because there is a man without a face mask and I did not want to stand in there any longer. At the end of the day I spent 37.90 for half of the food I ordered and have 2 extra charges that I will need to dispute. Honestly, for the subpar food the hassle is absolutely not worth it!

Last night I bought a large combo that included chicken, French fries, mashed potatoes and some bread! and my family ate and we woke up intoxicated, my daughter was vomiting and two other people! I don't know if the food was bad but if this happened they are not being careful at the time of the food that it is not damaged, unfortunately it is my last time that I buy food here!

I ordered from Uber Eats. My order was almost entirely wrong, even though the employees WROTE my order on a piece of paper because they didn’t have receipt paper. Wrong drinks, no utensils, no straws, it’s like they didn’t even try.

I was so excited this place opened up. But on my 2nd visit recieved 4 pieces of tenders in my 5 piece meal!!! I would understand if one was oversized, not the case. With such a long wait to begin with, I'd hope to at least get my entire order... Lame. Fix this type of bad service.

Had to go through the drive thru twice because they completely left off half of the order and when asking if I could get barbecue sauce with a meal that comes with sauce I was told to ask at the window. Then got to the window both trips through the drive thru and neither time was given sauce. Later looking at the receipt they decided to ring up my order as having no sauce. We ordered food through uber eats, and over half of the order was wrong. Chicken slapped in boxes, sides missing, not the correct drink. And pie missing. Will not be ordering from here again.

Cold nasty fries …. Ordered a classic sandwich and had enough mayo on it to last a lifetime !!!! Nothing like wasting $$$ and doing a group work lunch order …. 4 people all had crappy food !!!

My order of family size meal of 3 chicken sandwiches, 8 piece chicken, large rice and beans, beignets were NOT delivered. Only the biscuits, a $2-$3 item were delivered. I ordered through DoorDash. Paid almost $50 for the order and Popeyes instead of sending the rest of the food already paid for, claimed it can’t fulfill it for another 60-80 minutes. That’s after waiting almost an hour for the original order they claimed was filled. Adding insult to injury, DoorDash is refunding me only half of my payment.

Warning, if you like dried out chicken, paying for 8 piece meals & 1/2 your order is missing & you ask if its all set...Really? Paid over $26.00 for what was basically just an 8 piece chicken & $18.00... Definitely won't be going back. Wish the management the best of luck.....

The chicken tenders I had ordered were not fully cooked. Parts of the chicken tenders were uncooked. Very disappointed.

I want to the drive through, and I ordered a chicken burrito. They didn't wrap it properly. It was open when I took it out of a bag. I got to witness the giant tortilla, a forest of lettuce and 6 tiny pieces of chicken, (and i mean tiny) swimming in a bag. I just threw it out and went to mickey D's..

We came to take an Uber order and we came in the snow from a long distance and when we arrived they said the store was closed even though they indicate that receiving orders from the car is open until about 11 pm and when I asked the employee to cancel the order from the restaurant machine he refused and apologized and then closed the window. When we canceled the order and Uber told us that the restaurant was closed they thanked us and canceled the trip without paying. This is very bad for the reputation of the restaurant first and then Uber.

First off, any place that chooses to broadcast FOX NEWS is off my go-to list. Second, the Mac and cheese was small and cold. Third, the worker literally put the food 4 feet away when I was standing right in front of them. I just can't deal with a lack of good sense.

I just ordered takeout and purchased a 24 piece wings and sadly the people who packed up my meal cannot count. I paid almost $24 for 24 piece and only received 16 piece. During the covid this place also charges the highest prices in Westchester for. Popeyes. This is my last purchase ever from this place. Ordering takeout at your own risk because if you are pinching your Pennie’s this place charges me for a 24 piece and only deliver 16 in the container equating to a loss of $16 or approximately $1 per wing.

The girl taking orders at the drive through is rude and messed up my order on purpose. I wanted bone in wings and she gave me boneless. I wanted no pickles and I said it 3 times and she put pickles. And she had an attitude.

Honestly google needs to add an option for zero stars because that’s what this establishment deserves. We purchased dinner tonight and everything was poorly seasoned. Never in my life have I ever experienced it at any other of the other franchise locations I’ve been to. The fries were so soggy, the chicken was severely under seasoned and their apple pie tasted off. How does that even happen? Not to mention, the manager this evening was rude to their employee at the drive-thru window, who seemed to be a new hire. Not a good look and definitely won’t be going back there. It’s such a pity as it’s the closest one to my home.

Drive through was super long and unorganized so decided to go inside. Less time inside. Ordered the $23.99 (9 piece bundle). Chicken tenders was extremely over cooked and dried out, the fries were not fresh at all (tasted like they were cooked hours ago and just kept warm/very dried out). Very disappointed! The only thing that was “ok” was the mashed potatoes, although they were more cold then warm.

Poor service. Undercooked nuggets. Soda was seltzer. Disappointed, I won't come back to this popeyes. Went back today, the chicken was better. Convinced the soda is watered down on purpose though as I haven't gotten a decent drink here yet. Glad the chicken was better, bumping my review up to 3 stars. 3rd and final trip, I won't be going back. Headed there during my lunch break, I love the buff sauce I was hyped for some nuggs. As I'm waiting in line someone finishes there order and a couple who had just received their order cut directly in front of the cashier and asked for a refund for ordering the wrong thing. Not only did the cashier allow them to cut he had no idea how to refund them. After 20 minutes dude in a blue shirt comes up, either the manager or owner, and after immediately fixing the issue walks back into the kitchen despite the line. 3 or 4 people in view just watching while a huge line at 1 pm isn't moving. Blue shirt just walked around and started back from inside the kitchen, terrible management. After the long wait I get my food ask for buff sauce and the girl throws 2 BBQ sauce in my bag, I got 12 nuggs, fries and 3 tenders, then tries to run away. When I tell her these aren't Buffalo she pretends to look and says they only have BBQ and one other sauce. This is a fried chicken place you have 2 condiments? I don't even believe her. Wasted my whole lunch break didn't even have tike to eat I was late getting back go work.. I hope they open a Chick Fil a next door.

This is my final visit to this location. The last few times I've been here over the past 6 months, the food has been terrible. The fries and chicken tasted, looked and smelled like stale food, refried in weeks old oil. I threw it all away. Not wasting my money anymore.

I MADE TWO FAILED ATTEMPTS TO ORDER THROUGH THE APP PRIOR TO GIVING UP AND WALKING IN THE RESTAURANT TO ORDER IN PERSON AND MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED FOR THE TWO ATTEMPTS I MADE. MY HUSBAND ATTEMPTED TO ORDER FOR ME THREE TIMES UNDER HIS POPEYES APP ACCOUNT THINKING IT MIGHT WORK, AND WAS CHARGED 3 TIMES EVEN THOUGH IT ALSO STATED THE ORDER FAILED! Placed an order for an office party in store pick up. When I got there they could not locate my order only to locate a few minutes later. Got my order and drove back only to notice they shorted me 7 peices of chicken. Called store only for them to tell me I can drive back 20 mins for them to give me the 7 peices. No one double checked order. Asked for condiments got 2 ketchup packets and a few napkins. Disappointing not again...read the reviews cause management ain't reading them and making any changes...

I’m disappointed. First I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. They have it on a timer that last, maybe two seconds. I seriously believe the health department needs to go and check the bathroom sink randomly. There’s no way people can properly wash your hands With the timer that they placed on the sink. Definitely a safety issue and definitely not the best way to ensure hygiene. Then, when it comes to the Food, the fries were not fresh. They must’ve been sitting there for a while. I was very disappointed. I usually go to KFC but wanted to do something different. The only thing that was good was the biscuit. Poor experience.

*Not Recommend* *Negligent Staff* we asked for our chicken and fries to be well done extra crispy and they were thankfully done but definitely not well done or extra crispy at all the macaroni and cheese was mostly just really greasy cheese and they didn't give us a fork. We will definitely NOT be returning to this location again in the future. Some of us got diarrhea about 20-45mins after eating here! Again not a pleasant experience.
