I found this place years ago by accident when I was in the area. This is one of our favorite spots in Corpus. Whenever we have family a different amount of town, we like to go pick it up and swing over to eat at the park on Ocean. The food is consistently good! I especially love the beans…so good! Today I went with some friends. One grew up here and had never heard of it and was impressed!

Their Charro Beans, hot or cold, are delicious in any weather. This is the (1/2 Chicken Plate.) The Price is around $10 along with Rice, Charro Beans, Onions, Tortillas, Salsa & Limes. This was all around a great dish with zero complaints on the Chicken, Rice or Charro Beans. I didnt really care for the Salsa, the Onion, it was a bit undercooked but it all still made some really good tacos with leftovers as well.

The chicken and rice was excellent. I would recommend calling 30 minutes ahead of the time you want to eat because it takes a long time to get the food. But with that being said it was very fresh.

This is a true hidden gem! Fantastic chicken with a smoke yet grilled flavor. Beans and rice were delicious. We fed a group for about $10 a person, which i challenge you to find a fast food burger combo for that! Just a great meal for a great price! My first time eating here, but definitely won't be my last!😋🔥

Definitely recommend!! Pay around 30 for 2 whole chickens with 2 cups of beans, a cup of rice, tortillas, lime and grilled jalapeños and onions each plate. So good and worth every penny! Suggest calling in, sometimes a wait depending on your order.

This was a gem of a find. The chicken was exceptional, the beans were fantastic, and the rice was terrific. I don't know how they prep their chicken, but each bite of chicken is juicy, packed with flavor, and char grilled to perfection. We fed a family of 4 with one whole chicken dinner for $15. An absolute steal!

Very very good! Very great price too! I got the whole chicken which is an 8 piece. Comes with rice, beans, serrano peppers, grilled onion, salsas, tortillas and lime. It was soo good and definitely a hole in the wall. For anyone craving some good pollo asado this is the place because damn, it is some great stuff!!!

Really good pollo asado!!! Real authentic Mexican flavor! The rice, charro beans and salsa are also real good, you can call in your order or order it there, we ordered it there and waited 30 mins, very fresh.

Food was amazing and affordable. Small inside, no tables but bar style seating all around the perimeter indoor walls. Was a bit warm inside, they did have a fan running, but I think most people take it to go and I can understand why. Food was so good tho I know I'll be back for more. Definitely a new favorite! 🙌😛

This place is definitely worth checking out. The chicken is amazing lots of flavor great price. Now the reason I had to knock it to 4 stars was the rice. Was mushy and honestly felt like it came out of a bag. If you sit and eat there it’s all like a bench table along the wall. Small for eating in but it works. I would like to see the cheap plexiglass divider removed.

Drive through only. The chicken was done well. The grilled onion was tasty. The chicken portion was enough for three people. The rice and beans barely enough for two people. The combo does come with hot tortillas and lemons. Super friendly staff and fast service. Overall great chicken for the price..
