Not going to lie was a little skeptical about going here, but man, what a vibe! There is plenty of room and love the stage outside. The two sky scrappers really give it a cool atmosphere with it looming over the bar. The Bus has good service and nice bartenders. The food is spicy, so be careful what you order, especially the plabonos!

You order drinks inside and food at the trailer outside. Service was great. It is really family and pet friendly. They have water bowls around the outside and yard games. Again the food was great. The drinks were well made.

Repurposed bus station sees a second life as a laid back restaurant and bar. Chill vibes, pleasant, spacious outdoor patio area with a smaller indoor bar area. The food is fantastic, accessible but sophisticated. Drinks range from a solid if tight tap list to a slate of cocktails, all well crafted by super friendly bar staff. Plenty of nearby street parking. Family friendly. Highly recommended!

We had a pre-meal drink here, and it was fantastic. I had the frozen sangria and my partner has an oaxacan old fashioned. The bartender put a lot of care into making his drink, and she gave us great tips for our meal as well. The seating was relaxed but fun, and they had things like life-sized chess and corn holing outside. It was a hot day, but the fans kept it a comfortable temperature. We didn't have our kids with us, but I'd absolutely take them if we lived near here.

I always enjoy my time and experiences at BUS. The bartenders are kind and seem to love a quick chat while you wait on your drink. Prices are reasonable and the vibes are exceptional. I frequent this place quite a bit as it’s one of my favorite bars in Corpus.

We arrived on a Saturday right when they opened at 11 a.m. A DJ was already set up playing house and moombah, which gave the place a relaxed, fun vibe. We brought our dogs and were glad to see it was dog friendly with plenty of seating options. There were regular chairs, high chairs, Adirondack-style seats, bench tables, and umbrella-covered spots. Lots of places to sit and spread out. We went inside to the bar first and noticed they made carajillos. We ordered a couple before getting food. They were excellent—espresso with Licor 43 and a touch of orange. The flavor was rich with a hint of citrus, and they were only ten bucks, which felt like a steal. Food is ordered separately from a walk-up window or using a QR code. It was their first weekend rolling out the QR system, and there was a glitch. When we ordered through our phones, someone else’s order ended up on our tab. Not a big deal—they voided it and fixed it at the window. For food, we had the fajita steak hash, ahi tuna tostadas, croissant beignets, and empanadas. The hash was solid. The eggs were cooked just right, the steak was tender, and the potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. The tostadas had great flavor. The tuna was fresh, and the sauce on top blended citrus, spice, herbs, and cheese in a balanced way. The empanadas were golden and crispy on the outside, with soft, spicy potato filling inside. The beignets were standout—bite-sized, puffy, and packed with flavor. They came with two sauces: a chocolate one and a creamy vanilla-orange sauce that paired perfectly without overpowering. Overall, the food and drinks were excellent. The QR code issue was a hiccup, but hopefully it’s fixed now. The only downside was the subwoofer. It made the place vibrate a bit too much and felt unnecessary. It was also a little warm, and more fans would have helped, but it is summer so it’s understandable. Good spot to hang out, and being dog friendly is a huge plus.

We rarely hang around the downtown area, but my first time here was with a couple of girlfriends and I don’t quite remember the cocktail I got, but it was so darn good! It was very refreshing and light, and it reminded me so much of one of my favorite cocktails from a bar in Sacramento that was called the Kiss & Tell. The food here is one the lighter side, which is fine but still so very delicious. We got the Potato Empanada, Chicken Quesadilla, and the Tuna Tostadas. All were great choices, but I will say that the empanadas are my favorite. Such a wonderful environment to hang out and dog friendly! We have taken our fur babies here once, and they just love to people watch!

Good but pretty sure bartender is overcharging to pocket the money... 🤨 Went a couple days ago, nice atmosphere and the drink was fine, but then I checked my card the next day. My total (in person) was $8.66 for ONE drink, I left a $1 tip and wrote my total as $9.66.🍹 When I checked my card transactions, my charge was $10.66 (I had an additional $7.66 charge. I called, they told me the $7.66 hold will disappear) but that I left a $2 tip; I did not. My guess is he forced the tip by charging more but when I ACTUALLY left a tip it went over my total. 🫠 Doubt it's his first or last time doing.. Other than that service was good...

I’m extremely disappointed with how this bar venue handled our experience while setting up for a wedding. The manager was rude and made unnecessary comments, which immediately set a negative tone. When we arrived, the event area was not clean. We asked staff four different times if the space would be cleaned or swept. Each time we were told, “Okay, I’ll let someone know,” but nothing was ever done. When we specifically asked to speak to the manager about getting the venue cleaned, she never came out to speak with us. Because of this, we were forced to clean the space ourselves—picking up trash, cigarette butts, and other debris—while trying to set up for a wedding. This was especially frustrating considering we had over 100 guests, all of whom brought significant business to the bar throughout the event. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic cleanliness is completely unacceptable for a venue hosting large events. I would not recommend this bar venue based on poor management, lack of communication, and failure to provide a clean event space. Unfortunately I have been hired 3 times to decorate for different occasions and all 3 times we have had the same type of service.
