Recommended by friends, we decided to try this restaurant for dinner. The place is truly beautiful, with wooden tables and chairs and stone walls. We chose the €45 menu, which includes a sampling of various appetizers, first and second courses, and dessert. To start, we were served warm bread with butter, followed by a platter of cured meats and cheeses, polenta, caponata, and spinach meatballs. For the first courses, we had casoncelli pasta, cheese gnocchi, tagliatelle with butter and licorice, and cocoa ravioli with porcini mushrooms and truffle. Next up were polenta taragna, donkey stew, sliced ​​beef, and cabbage rolls. Finally, a chocolate and raspberry cake, strawberry ice cream, and apple pie. The menu is truly extensive, and every single dish is prepared with quality ingredients. I also really liked the concept behind the menu we chose because it's a wonderful experience to share. My wife and I booked on The Fork. The reviews were excellent and they weren't wrong. First, we were greeted by the owner who let us choose a table, including the option of dining on the terrace. Enchanting location. The menu offers exceptional value. We ordered the dishes pictured, and they didn't disappoint. Especially the starters, which were truly exceptional. The girls who served us were very kind, professional, and helpful. We were also offered desserts with our coffee. Indoor parking was available, and as mentioned, the dinner was very affordable. We ordered a local wine, let's say low-priced, but the 2019 vintage is definitely very good. For connoisseurs, the wine cellar is excellent.

During our stay in Zogno, we had the pleasure of lunch at this restaurant. It was wonderful. We ordered two appetizers to share, two first courses, and two second courses, plus water and wine. We left more than satisfied and happy. The entire meal was excellent, but what we weren't expecting was the bread and butter as an entrée. I never thought I'd praise bread and butter highly enough, but it was well worth it! The price was in line with the quality of the food and service. We had a great time and will definitely be back. If you're generous like us, I recommend a bike ride on the cycle path in the afternoon on a rental bike; it's a perfect day.

The restaurant serves excellent traditional Bergamasco cuisine, including pizzoccheri, fresh pasta, and a great selection of cold cuts and cheeses. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Bonus points for the lovely dog at the entrance! Highly recommended.

Ho scovato questo locale durante un soggiorno presso San Pellegrino ed è stata una piacevole scoperta! Un’osteria d’altri tempi, con un’atmosfera calda e accogliente, in un contesto familiare, arredata con pezzi unici di un tempo, come il jukebox all’ingresso… davvero bellissimo 🤩 Il personale è molto gentile, cordiale e disponibile. I piatti proposti richiamano la tradizione bergamasca. Ho voluto assaggiare il loro antipasto tradizionale, con salumi, formaggi, caponatina, polpettine di spinaci, insalata russa e un waffle salato, il tutto accompagnato da pane e burro montato… davvero delizioso. Come primo ho scelto il risotto con sugo di coniglio, bottarga di coniglio e limone bruciato. Il piatto non era male, ma il limone predominava un po’ su tutto. Nell’insieme, però, mi è piaciuto. Molto buono anche lo stracotto di asino con polenta taragna, con la carne davvero saporita e tenera. Per concludere, una classica torta di mele ancora tiepida, accompagnata da una pallina di gelato. Un posticino davvero carino che consiglio se vi trovate nei pressi di San Pellegrino, dove il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ancora molto buono!

The service was generally very quick and courteous; all the dishes arrived promptly, except for dessert, which took a bit too long. The restaurant's ambiance is truly charming, with a welcoming atmosphere. The tableware is very unique and refined. As for the price, I found it to be absolutely fair considering the quality and quantity of the food. Overall, I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy typical Bergamo dishes without spending a fortune.

Temo che il pranzo della domenica sia il momento meno indicato. Troppa gente, troppo caos con un'acustica assordante e la qualità delle pietanze (di cui mi han parlato molto bene) non straordinaria. Non è facile cucinare per centinaia di ospiti. Proverò a tornare durante la settimana
