Definitely check this place out! Super clean and awesome atmosphere. Heard it was under new management and it was a lot of fun. Tons of seating, very clean, super dog friendly and great coffee. Our babies even got a pup cup. The owner, Lola, is amazing and this spot is such a unique gem for Addison! Can’t recommend enough!
A warm, bright cafe with a spontaneous touch of casual chill vibe. Their grilled panini is simple, hearty, but delicious with fresh meat and cheese melted into your tongue. The latte is sweet and good without extra explanation. Their chocolate milkshake blended with local ice cream is classic. Under the Sun, with your loved one, just with down and enjoy the rest of short afternoon. Light breeze, and staring into his eyes while full flavor of food spread inside your mouth.
Nice little spot, great selection of coffee and the pastrami bagel sandwich was a great addition this morning. Like sitting next to the park.
I don’t get to Addison very often, but I’m happy the couple of times that I have gone recently that I was able to stop by this hidden gem by the park. Everything about this place was pretty awesome from the vast menu selection to the very friendly service that I was promptly greeted with to the flavorful drinks and food. Stop on by; you won’t regret it.
Bagel sandwich 🥯 is very nutritious and delicious 😋! I ordered soy milk matcha 🍵 latte and tasted really good! 👍
I’m so glad they added this restaurant inn at Addison Circle. This restaurant is the perfect place to grab a coffee or tea with a friend or to grab ice cream on a colder day. They have outdoor sitting and it’s right next to the restrooms in the park. Dog friendly area and very nice chilled ambiance.
I love this spot. Service is always friendly. Reasonable price points relative to the area. Tons of menu options and I yet to be dissappointed. Its right next to the park if youre playing around. Or has a little covered patio area to get some work or studying knocked out.
This place is a hidden gem! We were helped by “Evie” she was a pleasant surprise! Great environment & great ice cream! Good place to go too for good quality at an affordable price!
Very nice coffee shop right in the corner of the Addison Circle park. They serve coffee, ice cream, alcoholic beverages and food. Service is really good and Ben will take good care of you.
This little shop is a wonderful addition to Addison Circle Park. It's open until 8:00PM which is perfect for us night owls who like to take walks in the park when it's a bit cooler. They have good prices, as well as large selection of drinks, ice cream, coffee and snacks. We tried the "donut milkshake" and it was very good, the flavor was original but not too strong. The staff was nice, efficient and organized. Definitely will be back!

Love the coffee here - so convenient to walk the dogs and get my morning coffee in one go :) Staff are always very friendly, and my dogs love the pup cups!
Great spot to grab a coffee and love the outdoor seating being next to the park!
Great addition to the neighborhood. Outdoor seating with casual feel and friendly staff. Stop by on your walk or park in the nearby garage.
Yummy white chocolate mocha. Quick and friendly service. I'll need to try their bagels next time
I've tried their drip coffee and americanos a few times, and the quality has been consistently great. Very friendly staff as well!
I stopped to a beer and look at there menu. It looked good and the prices seem fair I will come by for lunch very soon.
Peaceful area with great coffee! Did some work there and had no issues with WiFi ☺️
Absolutely love this place! Can’t wait till it gets warm to try the ice cream!!
I’ve been twice and I love it! Super friendly people and great drinks.
Great spot for coffee or ice cream right in the park! They give free dog treats too
Great service and good food
Awesome vibe in the middle of Addison Circle Park. Large outdoor seating available.
Love the new changes here! Great little spot!
The location is perfect and they have great options! Summer is always so sweet and helpful!
Cold coffee drinks are awesome on a hot day. Friendly service.
The frozen Arnold Palmer was just what I needed on a hot day. Thanks again!
Super friendly staff! Love the environment!
Food and service was amazing! The owner is so personable. She came out to greet me as I enjoyed my coffee on the patio.
I cannot rave about this place enough! The customer service was great. They suggested the cafe affogato for me since I like sweet coffee and a cafe latte for my friend who prefers a more strong coffee taste. The drinks/ ice cream was fantastic. The ice cream I got with my cafe affogato was Mexican vanilla and it was soft, sweet, and creamy. The taste of the espresso was amazing too! The outdoor space was really quiet and the park nearby made it perfect for a relaxing coffee. More so I saw that the staff was treating other customers with great respect and gave all of us quick service. Overall I would highly recommend this coffee shop!!! Update: They serve baked goods that were good too! Customer service is still great and the cafe affogato is as delicious as ever!
I love this place! I expected a mediocre ham and cheese croissant but what I got was a fresh baked, flakey, buttery coissant with thick sliced ham and cheese. Their coffee is also wonderful and they have a ton of flavored syrups to choose from that aren't listed on their menu.
I've loved this place since it opened in the Circle. I stop here for my regular Chai Latte with oatmilk after a long walk, or gym. The service has always been good, but it skyrocketed when a beautiful young lady, Summer, started. Her smile is like a ray of sunshine!
Great coffee! The person that took care was great and took them less than 2 minutes to get my coffee. It’s a cute place in a good area :)
You can tell the owner of this place really cares about the customer and the quality of their coffee. It’s simply one of the best places in town!
Really nice place on a temperate day! Perfect to catch up on some work while enjoying the breeze and sunshine and a nice cappuccino.
Found this hidden gem on my morning walk. Not only do they make a flat white, but they do it very well! Bagel sandwich was delicious too.
If I’m not going to Paradiso cafe, I come to Java and Hopps. Love their cofee, and they always , I mean always… welcome my baby boy (dog) with smiles and a treat. Love it here !
I ordered vanilla shake and it tasted so good. It's so thick and tasty. Thank you guys 😊
My first time to be here. Loved this outdoor coffee venue. Was able to work outside on my laptop with WiFi and electrical outlets. May be my favorite (new to me) coffee shop!
This is a great addition to Addison Circle. Had dessert after dinner while walking around the circle, and I can't wait to try the coffee. Well-priced to boot.
Great place! Great park/trail, better music. Coffee is outstanding! Horchata Latte [hand made] was amazing.
Great coffee, lovely people
I tried this place today and the two girls helped me find a drink since I was new to the menu. Great coffee and great customer service, I will definitely be back.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot to write, review, or simply unwind, this warm and vibrant café is a must-visit. Grab a perfectly brewed coffee, cappuccino, or latte, and take a leisurely walk through nearby gardens and parks while enjoying the fresh air. Highly recommended for its casual yet charming vibe. The latte is subtly sweet and satisfying, while their chocolate milkshake, blended with locally made ice cream, is a timeless treat.
Very friendly service and beautiful view of the park. 10/10 experience overall
love love love this place. the coffee and food are delicious. sitting and enjoying the park with good food, is fantastic. though we did see a lady tip in pennies, don’t be like that lady.
Ever since the new owners took over, everything has gotten so much better. The staff is always so kind and polite. The coffee is delicious — and so are the croissants! Love you guys! Keep up the great work!
This was a completely unplanned visit. Stopped by after class I'm not familiar with the area but chose this place and fell in love. Got an iced caramel macchiato with oat milk and an everything bagel with ham and cheese. It was amazing. In the middle of a park too so it would be an amazing vibe to walk around and sip on!
I ordered Mango + Strawberry Smoothie. It's Super fresh and naturally sweet. I actually tasted the fruit, not just sugar. It’s refreshing and energizing!
I think the wife and I found our newest hangout spot! I knew i had to bring my in-house coffee connoisseur to judge for herself... and she approves! The kids loved the hot chocolate, I had their milk shake and the wife had a fancy coffee drink I forgot what it was. But judging by her empty cup and reinvigorated look on her face, I knew she'd had the good stuff. Also Service was friendly, and fast!
I’ve recently moved to the neighborhood and I’ve been to this coffee shop several times. The lady who works here is the absolute sweetest! She’s always smiling & always so nice! They have a great selective of food and drinks! I love their Chai latte!
Excellent is the word that comes to mind! The staff have always been kind and cheerful, and the coffee here is nothing short of amazing. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. I’ve only ordered a hot caramel macchiato from them, but it has consistently been perfect each time. Thank you for making my couple weeks here in Addison that much better!
One of my most favorite spots to get a drink and relax. The staff is very friendly and energetic. Food was actually seasoned! And the coffee is great. I got an Americano and it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. It looks like they are actively making a few improvements as well, so I’m looking forward to seeing what they have coming next.
Stopped by Java and Hopps for the first time yesterday—awesome experience! The Americano was one of the best I’ve had in the area, and the mini donuts I brought home reminded my family of the State Fair donuts we used to get in Minnesota (turns out, they are!). Relaxing atmosphere and super friendly service. Can’t wait to come back with the whole family.
First time customer, will definitely be back. Another great reason to visit Addison! Unbelievable atmosphere with great food, coffee, ice cream for the kids. Cool fountains and large grassy outdoor space for the kids and dog❤️
Never thought I’d fall in love with tea until I tried their London Fog. Creamy, fragrant, and so calming like a warm hug in a cup!!!
The baristas are really nice! Excellent for stopping when I walk my dogs at the park
Java and Hopps is the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny day. Good drinks and food, friendly service, and free WiFi. Everyone was very friendly and I had a great time studying while enjoying my drink. The area is extremely pet friendly as well so I enjoyed saying hi to all the dogs!
This is where all the cool dogs hang out so their parents can get coffee :) And a great place for any gathering! They have games and food/beverage choices for all ages!
I ordered Mango + Strawberry Smoothie. It's Super fresh and naturally sweet. I actually tasted the fruit, not just sugar. It’s refreshing and energizing!
A cute little cafe right on Addison Circle Park. Any place that offers coffee, quick bites, and outdoor seating is always convenient. We originally walked by without any intention of ordering but the worker at the window opened it and offered our dog a pup cup so we were sold. The window ordering was very convenient as we had a dog with us. There’s also cornhole to play here. We ordered a vanilla latte that came out quick and was tasty, but not anything really special. To us this place really shines as a nice, quick option you can hit once you’re out at the park and the park itself looks good. Sometimes quick and easy can’t be beat.
Love coming out here and relaxing next to the park . For some reason the honey lavender latte tastes different every time I come . My bf loves the mango shake , I think it’s pretty good too . Most of the time the people are kind .
We take walks here all the time and love that there is now a convenient spot to grab a drink or snack. Coffee was decent. Looking forward to trying other menu items.

The shake was too sweet.
I had a frozen iced tea. Very refreshing on a very hot day.
They got rid of my Mexican vanilla but the homemade is pretty decent too. They’re always really sweet and pretty fast depending on what you order. Definitely a go to
This was an overall great experience. I had gotten myself an iced macchiato and there chocolate chip shake on different occasions. Both have been very sweet and delicious And although it does get hot outside, the location and atmosphere makes up for it

Java and Hopps is a fantastic little coffee shop and a great addition to the Addison Circle area. The food is always tasty and the employees are very friendly. However, what brings it down is that the restaurant has a MAJOR ingredient restock problem, with them being out of major items often for multiple days in a row. Why, just today I went to get my favorite croissant egg sandwich and chai latte, only to find out they were out of croissants AND chai. Sole guy, they said, was arriving with refills in 15 minutes, but they had no idea what he had with him and thus what he would actually be refilling. And they were out of croissants when I went last week, and the fact that they had taken down the baked goods menu altogether tells me that they had not once gotten more croissants in all that time. They've also been out of eggs, bananas, horchata, and I imagine they've run out of plenty of other things I haven't ordered. Upper management needs to get a grip on making sure the restaurant has everything it needs to fulfill orders. And it's such a shame too because, as I said, they food is sooo good!
Police was called the day I was there, drunk and disorderly person was on the premises, was no fault of the establishment because it’s an open environment, but the employees didn’t seemed bother until a customer who was offended and berated complained. Coffee was decent but nothing special.
Service is always good and staff is friendly but the coffee can be better, the coffee brand they use has a weird aftertaste and I wish they would switch it to something else.
I came twice in the same week to order banana nutella shake. They charged me and I'm waiting 15 minutes to call me and tell me they are out of bananas. Please check your ingredients before taking an order and charging for it.
Constantly closing early. Closed 30 minutes earlier than posted time today. In general closing before anyone can really take advantage of the drinks and food in the evening. Especially in the summer. Not much open in the circle for late night grab and go drinks. Huge opportunity missed in summer. Frozen lemonade is good when you are early enough to get it. Shame most people get off work around 5-5:30
I’ve been coming here since the very beginning and the management and service has gone way downhill. They seem unknowledgeable about their own menu. They also recently updated prices (as expensive or more than Starbucks now) and the prices on the new menu don’t reflect accurate price (was even higher than it showed). There’s usually only one person working, it took almost 20 minutes to get one coffee between the line and how long it took to make each item. I feel bad for the person working but they need to change their ways. They also have no knowledge of how to use the new loyalty program and were unable to correctly apply my free drink. Really sad such a good staple has gone downhill.

The customer service at this place has been going down hill. They don't seem to listen or care what you actually want. It's been frustrating and disappointing.
The people are really nice. When you order a coffee you do have the options of different milks, but when ordering coconut milk or almond milk in your coffee all you can taste is the milk it is over powering the coffee. Which was not the case when they first open. Please change the brand you are getting.
They should change the hours to “whenever we feel like showing up”. Great location and convenient for AC residents but whoever owns this needs a refresher on how to operate a business. Being open during posted business hours is step 1.
I had asked for semi sweet coffee but it was still way too sweet. Upon requesting to fix it they weren’t cooperating and just topped off my existing drink with some more milk.
I got 3 smoothies they were not good at all. No flavor. Please do not spend your money on smoothies. On the other hand my crossaints and caramel coffee were delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere is amazing!

I’ve been a loyal customer at this location for over three years, but my most recent visit was beyond disappointing. On Friday morning, I ordered a simple bottled Coke Zero and a muffin, quick grab-and-go items. As I was about to pay, the clerk’s cell phone rang. Instead of completing my order, she told me to “hold on and that she needed to take the personal call” she then spent seven minutes on a personal call with her insurance company. I stood outside in the hot heat holding my 16-pound poodle while another customer waited behind me in the heat. All the clerk had to do was hand me my items before taking her personal call. When she finally hung up the call 7 minutes later, she gave me a dusty Coke Zero and a small muffin, apologized, and offered my dog a pup cup since he was panting from the heat and 7 minute wait. When I got home, I discovered the Coke was flat and expired—the date on the bottle clearly says March 2025, and it’s now August 2025. Selling expired goods, bad customer service and having customers wait while you take personal cell phone calls is unacceptable. After years of loyalty, this was a huge letdown in both service and quality and I will not be returning.
Love the outdoor seating arrangement and the concept. There were three people in line in front of me, the first two got out quickly. The last one took over five minutes for three banana splits (with no bananas because they were out of stock). The lady taking orders was the rudest barista I’ve ever encountered. Tried to ask her for allergen information on the frozen drinks and she snapped “I can’t even make that for you because we are out of everything frozen and I’m so busy right now I won’t even have the time to make that.” Ordered a hot mocha & she gave me a dirty cup. Absolutely would not come back.

Terrible service, the mixed girl with the neck tattoo was extremely rude and looked unclean to be serving food and drink. I hope the manager can train the staff better.
The ice cream was nasty and the banana split does not come with toppings such as strawberries, pineapples and chocolate. Basically, ice cream, bananas, and whip cream with a cherry. Yucky! Also their prices are higher at the register than on the menu.
WORST EXPERIENCE. I used to LOVE this place. Took all my coworkers to this place I found in Addison. A coffee shop with milkshakes, breakfast, coffees, frozen lemonades etc. Until today. We went for a milkshake and it had BUTTER on it. a GIANT chunk of butter with other pieces all around the milkshake. That is disgusting. We are not coming back and if you go do not order any milkshake unless you want to be drinking manteca.......
We got cold brew and an iced latte. It tasted like we were drinking cream and no coffee. We bought a drip coffee to add to our drink and it looked like tea. Very disappointed.
View is nice .. I don't want to blame the fact that the baristas, but this Americano tastes like regular coffee pot coffee. Nothing special. Also one of the girl workers was vaping while I was ordering and that's just not what I want to see when I am going to get coffee. Not coming here again
Never open in the mornings anymore. 3 times in one week no one was there until 9a or later. Today all the stuff is out but the window is closed and no one answers. Either get staff that show up and have the window open at 8a like your hours show or get here yourself and work the store. You should be embarrassed.
They charged almost $8 for a large milkshake, even though the menu listed it as $6. When I asked them about the discrepancy, they explained that it was the old menu. This felt misleading, as it would have been nice to be informed of the price change before ordering.
We ordered a mango and pineapple smoothie and it tasted like neither and was rancid. I was afraid my son would get food poisoning. They told us that is how they make it but allowed us to switch to another cheaper drink, which was better but still not great. However they were not willing to refund the difference, which was a couple of dollars. At that point it wasn't worth my time. If you are going to go here, be careful about the smoothies. But in my opinion, not worth the risk.
Small ice vanilla coffee with cream is $8.00. Doesn’t taste $8 worthy and extremely watered down.
My wife and I stopped by Java hopps yesterday as we walk around Addison Circle and were very disappointed with our experience. I ordered a sundae and was initially given coffee-flavored ice cream with just chocolate syrup. I had to ask for the typical toppings like whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry. The sundae was a letdown and didn't meet even basic expectations. My wifes banana Nutella shake was also a huge disappointment. It was watery, and the bananas tasted old, almost metallic. We noticed a sign stating "no exchanges or refunds," which, combined with the low quality of our $11 order, made it clear that this establishment doesn't stand behind its products. We won't be returning. Also to mention there was one person eating a sandwich near cash register and no greeting was given.
