The cappuccino was fine, borderline 5 stars. It was pretty hot but the milk was whipped nicely. They did not have all the coffee options though, e.g they could not make espresso tonic. They have two matcha kinds to select from which is nice

The coffee is excellent and the quantity is generous. Also, they sell Manresa Bread pastries. Anyway, they don't provide trays, so you have to be careful about serving to sit at the outdoor table. You'll understand if you look at the floor. Hahaha. You can taste pretty good coffee around here, so I recommend you to stop by.

Love visiting this coffee shop! Heard a lot of positive things about Verve and they are all true! Had a nice mix of modern and traditional coffee drinks. The cashier was kind of answering all my questions. The single origin Kenyan pour over was delightful. It is very popular so expect seats to be full! I visited in February but in the summer they have a lot more seating outside. Highly recommend!

Okay, so I’m slightly disappointed. The service was solid, the latte was delicious, and the coffee shop itself was quite a nice place to relax. So, why not 5 stars, you might ask? Well, I ordered the breakfast sandwich… They ran out of bacon for it and subbed in prosciutto, no charge. That was a fine solution to that problem, but the real problem was everything else on the sandwich. The egg seemed like some egg patty you get in the freezer isle, and there was a horrible… sauce(?)… on it. It was like ketchup, but somehow worse. And the worst part? With tip, I paid over $20 for my iced latte and that very underwhelming sandwich. Now, all that said, the coffee was quite good. So, if you do go here, enjoy the coffee, the ambiance, and whatever you do… don’t get the breakfast sandwich. EDIT: Gave this place another shot today, and the coffee was really good. Instead of the breakfast sandwich, I got a couple of their baked goods, and I was very happy with what I had.

Verve Cafe in Palo Alto is a gem! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal or coffee break. The menu offers a great selection of delicious and fresh food options, and the coffee is top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend Verve Cafe for a delightful meal in Palo Alto!

honestly a pretty good cup of coffee (latte, to be precise). wayyy overpriced. Charged me an extra 1.75 for pistachio milk?? a 10$ cup of coffee is just a bit extra. Loved sitting outside, though inside can get kinda noisy and hectic, even if the visual vibes are pleasant. Like the place overall, and they always give my dog a little treat which is nice, and staff is very friendly. takes a minute for the coffee to come, but I think taking a beat once in a while ain't such a bad thing.

Good spot if you are a coffee purist who also enjoys the occasional sweet latte. Can't yet speak to the food but a nice place to get your drink for here. Minus one on atmosphere for the amount of laptops out.

I happened to pass by and liked the vibe, so I stopped in for a matcha latte. The drink was okay, but I really enjoyed the ambiance and overall experience. I’d like to come back to try more of their menu. There’s space to work casually, though it can feel a bit crowded depending on the time.

We got Matcha,Blueberry cold foam Matcha and an Iced Latte. Kids really liked it, I'm just indifferent! Service was prompt and the person helping us was very knowledgeable and helped decide what to try.

Stopped by this vibrant, cute & cozy coffee place in Palo Alto. They also do have a variety of coffee beans for purchase & some pastries. Pastries looked good to the eye even though I didn’t give a try. Ordered a latte (with a pistachio milk) since they don’t have a pistachio latte flavor. It was good. Service was good and the cafe was clean with a lot of natural light coming in.

We were strolling around this area in Palo Alto and came across Verve by chance. We went in and ordered Cappuccino & an interesting cold coffee - Missile. Now, I mentioned while ordering that I would be sitting in the store while having the coffee. I still got the take away plastic glass. Both the drinks were good otherwise. 5 *s for the vibe. 4* for service.

Coffee not to specified temperature We are regular customers when we visit the area This time coffee was cold. Very disappointing at this price point. After requesting it to be remade , we were told that’s as “hot as it can get”-really?? The espresso drinks were also cold. I sometimes feel I can make better espresso at home as an amateur than this last experience. I’m sorry about this experience because I really did like coming to your place in the past

Cappuccino quality has been going down for months. Last time I received a cappuccino with no top foam at all, it was just milk mixed with coffee. It was obvious that this cup will taste not so good but I decided to try it anyway. The taste of coffee in this cappuccino was shallow like the shot was pulled from the same beans for 3 times at least. The quality goes down, the price goes up. Verve just lost a loyal customer

Great loco.. Great decor.. all else HORRIBLE. The person taking the order was utterly useless, full of attitude, and disattached from reality. Customer " I like a large hot black tea" Cash register young lady, " when you say hot tea, what do you mean by HOT tea?" Customer, confused, " Hot tea ☕️? You know, 'hot' Tea? " Cashier, "we have many types of hot tea" Customer, "black tea... English Breakfast".. Cashier, ".........." not understood. Customer, " just give me coffee" Some other useless exchange. $5 later.. a cup of black coffee. 7 min later, Customer recognized coffee taste as the juice of a half bucket basketball (a used one).. uaaakjhhh
