On my way up to Broadway Terrace to see the Kingfish about this and that and just had to stop at Crogan's and get a roast pork sandwich. Probably the best sandwiches in the East Bay. Normally I have it on a French baguette with melted Monterey Jack cheese, but today I wanted it on the lighter side, because I've got a big todo, to do for that old nasty witch, Hazel Willslurpit up on Hardshaft Ridge. She's asked me to pound in a fence post for her, so I'm taking Bucktooth Timmy with me to do the nasty work. He should have the job done in about 5 minutes. As I sat there waiting for Timmy to scream, all I could think about was how Amazing that Crogan's sandwich was it was Spectacular! 5 Stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

I’ve been living in the Oakland hills for a few years and I still haven’t tried crogans, decided to go on a Monday around 2pm, it was absolutely amazing, first off it’s a bar and restaurant, there was hardly anyone there because it was downtime, we ordered mostly seafood, the COD was great, spicy green beans were amazing , the Cajun shrimp appetizer was great. Clam chowder was my favorite.Got a few cocktails and they were great as well. Great service and attention by staff, fair prices and very upscale looking restaurant we will be coming back

I had Christmas Eve Dinner with a few friends. I ordered the spare ribs, which were excellent. I also loved the mashed potatoes and veggies. Please know that they are not traditional spare ribs. It seemed more like a big hunk of pot roast, but the seasonings were quite good. The service was very good overall. I would highly recommend.🩷

Francisco helped me out today. He went above and beyond with his 5-star gold service. I called in after hours asking for help and he stayed to offer me support with the kindest voice and warm energy. I’ve had the fish and chips which are amazing (I have high standards for this dish). French onion soup is on pointe and the clam chowder is pure comfort food. The mandarin chicken salad is refreshing too. Will come back for the yummy food and impeccable service!

Excellent pub / Irish restaurant. From the atmosphere the ambiance it made you feel like as soon as you walked in that you are part of a family that that already knew who you are FAMILY.

Pleasantly surprised. Had a very good meal here on a Sunday evening. Excellent service, spacious dining area, very good food. This is a sports pub/bar, so likely a different atmosphere when it is a game day. Our group had the chicken piccata, chicken linguine, kids menu mac and cheese and grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Everything was very good and flavorful. Nice mix of clientele - a very family friendly menu. Next time, will try the rib and beef entrees based on our good first experience. Cannot say enough about the attentive and efficient service - and prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

On the website, the mimosas were $5.50 each. This was the main reason that we chose this place. In the restaurant, however, they were actually $7.00. Additionally, there are menu items on the site that aren't available in the restaurant. I know that it states that pricing and menu items may change, but this was a big change and the website wasn't updated for over a month. We checked again while we were there versus early December. The food that we received was above average for brunch. It came very quickly after we ordered. The coffee cups rarely got to empty before being filled again. With that said, the overall experience was good. I would probably come back again.

Couldn't eat there food they had garlic in everything. And I just had the gastric sleeve can't eat processed food. They didn't have fresh squeeze nothing couldn't . My wife hadn't here gosh and chip the fish wasn't all that the cole slaw wasn't sweet.

The clam chowder was delicious! Don't get the ahi poke, you'll be disappointed. The pasta tho gosh it was amazing!

We went for a private party. The staff was awesome. Very nice, and super fast. The food we had was pretty good. I thought the fries were kinda dry, and not my favorite kind. The walnut salad was awesome. They have some really good drinks too.

But everything else we ordered was not good. I can't say what happened but it was not flavorful. How can a breakfast burrito be bland. I have had country potatoes from many restaurants and they were always very flavorful. Unfortunately, the ones at this restaurant was not. My friend said that her french toast was not good. Additionally, when I am in a restaurant and I see the service staff clean off the tables the rag is actually wet. However, the person cleaning the tables took a dry cloth and wiped over the table. What if there was something sticky on there? So that makes me think the tables are not being sanitized regularly. I will say the service was top-notch, our server checked in on us consistently to find out if we needed anything.

I ordered Cesear Salad Entree with chicken online (Uber eats) and I paid almost $17. The lettuce was not chopped!! Also, there was a piece of fish in my salad which smelled like hell! I'll never get back to this place!!!

Members of our party got sick here after a birthday dinner. Less important—but I had to ask several times for my drink to be refilled towards the end of the meal and even then, it wasn’t refilled. No one checked on us or asked how things were. Don’t think I’ll be back.
