Stopped by on my lunch and tried the Thai Tea and Pad See You. Both were so delicious!
One of the best Thai restaurants in Bay Area. Great service and food takes you right back to Thailand. We got their red curry and volcano noodles. I would definitely get those again. Cocktails were also very creative
Great hip, trendy, and sophisticated place to meet up for a lunch or dinner. The decor is fun and vibrant and the food is delicious! Really fantastic Thai classics (I loved the pad Thai!) and some more adventurous fun and funky flavors if you’re looking to try something new. Highly recommend, seems like they can accommodate groups of any size. Nice indoor and outdoor dining.
The people here are so kind and hardworking; my family of four (including myself) were warmly greeted by some of the staff, and seated immediately upon our arrival. Plates with intricate, floral designs were already set on the table. By the time we had ordered our food, it was already in front of us within a few minutes! Despite how swiftly we got it, the meals were absolutely beautiful—and they tasted even better than they were presented. There was so much attention to detail; by the time you took a bite flavors just started to explode in your mouth. The next time we vacation in this area, we will definitely be coming here again!
Pretty place & even better food! Perfect place to take my in-laws for their first time visiting Montclair. The staff was attentive & friendly. The food came out quick & fresh. Would 10/10 come back!! Their volcano noodles dish stole the show. So much we have to try. A huge plus was being able to walk around the cute town after & take some photos.
The food is consistently good and always fresh. I'm not an expert on Thai food, but they seem to have a nice mix of familiar menu items and then authentic menu items, like this fish curry with pork belly which is absolutely *chef's kiss* picture perfect in presentation. It was difficult to convince the waiter that I could handle the spice and the fermented fish, but I was glad I did! Also have really yummy, flavorful cocktails.
This place has the Best Southern Thai food in Oakland that we've tried so far! You'll find some resemblance to their sibling restaurant @farmhousethai but I enjoyed this place more. The ambiance is much more cozy and to me, the dishes had a lot more flavor. Every dish we tried was a 10/10 so definitely bookmark this place if you haven't been here yet! * Crispy Branzino * Neua Num Tok Rolls * Papaya Salad * Betong Massaman * Beef Pad See You * Crab Fried Rice * Mango Sticky Rice * Cocktails: Thai Lady, Muay Thai Punch, & Thai Old Fashioned There is a good amount of outdoor seating too if you want to bring along your fur babies.
The staff are great: personable, friendly and efficient. The food is delicious. A great range if flavors. I think they have also done a great job with the space. It is pleasant with nice cozy lighting.
Okay, so I’m not a review person, BUT when I say I had to… I HAD TO! The food was delicious and they have a true lunch special. We all stopped talking when the food came because we couldn’t stop eating
Ordered the Pad Khua Kling with a protein choice of tofu and it didn't disappoint. I let the server know I'm a big spice afficionado and they recommended the spiciest level to me. When the dish arrived, the aroma of Thai herbs was tantalizing - specifically because the dish was packed with Thai basil and kaffir lime leaves. As a Southeast Asian person, this was a delightful (and thoroughly spicy) experience that was reminiscent of my favorite spicy dishes growing up! I also got a side of coconut rice and it went great with the dish, both of which arrived quickly.
The crab fried rice is very delicious. The flavors are authentic and the portion is huge! Our server is very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our time here!
This is the best southern Thai food I've had since being in southern Thailand. Absolutely incredible, bold flavors and really high quality fresh ingredients. Truly inspired presentation for take out (which during Covid times allowed us to have a really special holiday meal). I was so impressed with the Little Lao Vegetarian platter--what an incredible deal! Could easily feed 3-4 people with a huge variety or items. If you're concerned about the reviews complaining about high prices, I am sure you won't agree if you get the Little Lao platter. So much love and effort put into this beautiful food.
We ordered the calamari (outstanding), spicy eggplant (fantastic), and pad see yew (delish). Can't wait to go back.
Such a positive environment! The place is very clean, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Our waitress continuously checked in with us about any food allergies, a level of care we’ve never experienced before. It truly made us feel comfortable and cared for!
Amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. I want to give a special shout-out to Pat, our server — they were incredibly attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect. Great service all around!
Delicious and picture perfect food to make all your friends drool. Nice little spot in east bay with very cool repurposed decor. Perfect place to visit after a hike in the redwood regional park. I think Farmhouse Thai kitchen in San Francisco is one of their restaurants which is good there too.
I went to a business dinner last week, and the food was absolutely delicious. We shared multiple dishes, so I was able to try a variety of options — all of them were fantastic, with vibrant, layered flavors that are nearly impossible to replicate at home unless you're Thai. My absolute favorite was the drunken noodles — the texture, the taste — simply divine! The atmosphere was perfect; we could talk without shouting, and I could hear everyone clearly. Plus, parking was easy, with several options right next to the restaurant. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting this place again soon!
We were at the Montclair Beer, Wine and Music festival and got to try Daughter Thai Kitchen without the wait. The staff are so friendly and warm. They confirmed that they are from the same partnership as Son & Garden and Farmhouse Thai. Both restaurants are known for their delicious Thai food and Daughter Thai was no different! We got the Pad Thai and rice dish. Both were filling and flavorful. It was a perfect pairing to go with all the alcohol we were consuming. I can't wait to go back and check out the restaurant. A great gem for the area!
Today I visited Daughter Thai Kitchen for dinner. The restaurant had an inviting ambience and served very tasty, authentic food. We enjoyed duck wonton, coconut shrimp, (small plate) roti duck curry, chicken fried rice (mains) and banana foster (dessert). The service was amazing and fast. The General Manager, Ivan C, was especially attentive and thoughtful. Appreciate his service. Overall, it was a really good dining experience that I would happily recommend.
If you love Thai food as much I do, then this is the place to go! Live in the South Bay...drive! Live in SF...drive! And you East Bay natives...Drive! Nestled in Montclair Village, this restaurant features very authentic dishes. Go for the Papaya Salad, Pumpkin Curry, Pad Kee Mo, and top it off with a Thai Tea to quench the savory heat. You won't be disappointed...every dish is delicious! And the service is excellent and super friendly...you'll feel right at home.
I can't do spicy. Had the Pad Ka Pow with minced pork. Extremely delicious! Like I said I can't do spicy. Server said it's about 1 on a scale 1 to 5. I'm just a big fat baby can't do it. My man had the Run Juan Seafood. He truly enjoyed it scale 1 to 5 it was a 10. I will definitely go back. Check them out
This place is great. I went there for the first time today at lunch, and the staff was very accommodating to my family and my small daughters. Thank you to the excellent server who took our order, even though we tried to confuse her as much as possible. The food was absolutely delicious, the restaurant was clean, the restrooms were also clean. We will definitely return.
I'll definitely be trying this place again. The eggrolls and thai dish that my friend got were sooooo good. I was not feeling that great so I opted for the chicken noodle soup and that was a mistake. It was sooo bland even the hot sauce couldn't help. So (not having ordered everything) order anything on the menu that is thai and my guess is it will be delicious.
Incredible. To die for. Must. Go. Everything was absolutely delicious! I have eaten here quite a few times now and every time it’s so good. Even when I took food home it was still amazing! But having it in person for the first time in a while really hit the spot. You MUST buy the fried chicken. It’s so crispy and the curry and roti that come with it match the flavors perfectly. Any of the meat you get you can’t go wrong with. The slow cooked beef ribs in the khao soi and the wagyu beef in the slow cooked beef curry just fell apart they were so tender. All the portions are very big (we had a lot of leftovers!), so I would say it’s reasonably priced. Overall, I always have good experiences at Daughter Thai and highly recommend whoever is reading to go!!
This is a sister chain of Farmhouse Thai Kitchen, which becomes evident from the decor and the menu. Not so surprisingly, some of the menu items were exactly the same as what you'll get at Farmhouse. Food is always delicious and I wasn't disappointed. Generous portions, so definitely recommend splitting each dish among 2 people. The place was packed. Super friendly staff. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant but if you can't find parking there then you can park on the street across from the park. There is plenty of metered and free street parking.
We enjoyed the fresh and authentic Thai food in their stylishly decorated restaurant which offered a nice ambiance. Service was prompt and attentive and the place was very clean. I had the lunch special, choice of several entrees which came with soup and appetizer choice. The fresh spring rolls were excellent, and my seafood entree had good variety and was very fresh. Menu said it was spicy, and it was! Definitely felt the heat but again I think spot on authentic... nonetheless, I might ask to dial down 1 notch of heat level next time. My wife had the vegetarian noodle soup and it was huge. Also very nicely done. Would go back again for sure.
Food was so flavorful and had good portions! Tried the pad kee mao which had the perfect spiciness for me and the pang neua had a ton of meat that was cooked so nicely, it was falling off the bone! The staff was incredibly helpful and there was even a special with a free mimosa from 12PM to 1 PM. Great experience, look forward to returning!
I love the atmosphere and the food from this place. Staff is friendly as well. We got here on a Friday night without a reservation. For a party of 2 it’s about 30 mins wait. You can order appetizers and drinks at the bar while you’re waiting. Please absolutely get the beef roll (appetizer, I forgot the name) and the pork belly salad. So bomb! Love it!
Ate dinner on a Monday around 5 pm. Many empty tables inside. We got our food fairly quickly and it was absolutely delicious. Service is really good and the staff is friendly. Parking on the street is best if close to 6pm. The parking lot next to the restaurant is a paid lot 24/7, owned by another business and checked regularly.
This was my first time here and won't be my last. The yellow curry was so rich in flavor! I did not like how the Thai ice tea was served. I would have preferred a regular glass but it was creative I guess. The service was pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary. I would said to give this a try if you haven't already!
We came here on our honeymoon two years ago, and now we come back every year to celebrate our anniversary. We love the 24hr beef bone broth and the samosas. We'd love to try their other food, but we just can't bring ourselves to skip either of these because they were so delicious! The servers are always very nice, and the food is delicious. 5 stars
A gem in the Montclair Village. The food is delicious, and the mixed drinks too. The staff are very friendly and were happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. The only thing I would note is this isn't what I would call a quiet restaurant. Especially if it's someone's birthday but I feel like that's all part of the charm for this place and is on the must visit list if your in the area.
Had dinner at Daughter Thai Kitchen in the Oakland Montclair district and it was exquisite. I highly recommend the Lod Chong, a pan-dan coconut rum cocktail…amazing!!! I also highly recommend the ahi tuna scoops, an appetizer, and the basil bomb, a seafood and meat medley entree. Definitely going to make another visit in the near future.
"I was brought to tears." Not being from around here, I checked the reviews online for any Thai food restaurants in the area and found this gem. My experience at Daughter Thai Kitchen can only be described as heavenly. We found free street parking, since it was after 6pm. Otherwise, there is a fee for parking at the restaurant and on the street. The entry to the restaurant has beautiful purple hanging flowers. They look even better at nighttime. My family and I took some great pictures here. We made a reservation and were promptly seated in the restaurant. Outdoor seating is available. The atmosphere is light and fun. Everything is clean and nicely decorated. The music is upbeat and not outdated. We ordered specialty drinks, Classic Thai tea with shaved ice, Thai tea limeade, and Flower Tea. Each tasted great and weren't too bitter or sweet. The presentation for each drink was fun and unique. For example, the shaved ice was like an ice cream scoop on the top. We ordered the Ahi Scoops for our appetizer. These were served as four small individual plates. The flavors pop in your mouth. There's some spice, but it is not overwhelming, unless you are sensitive to spicy food. For our main dishes we had Pad Thai with chicken, Thai fried rice, Pad Kee Mow, and Tom Yum. Each of these we ordered with chicken. The flavors were amazing. The chicken was moist and fresh. The noodles were also moist and the flavors were simple, yet complex. Everyone shared dishes and were Wow'd by each one. Finally, let's talk about dessert. No one walked in thinking we would order dessert. After having such great food, we knew that we had to try at least one dessert. Well we ordered two! The Mango sticky rice was in season and the Bread pudding was recommended by our server. Each one was beautiful and delicious. See the pictures. Last and most important, the incredible team at Daughter Thai Kitchen. From the warm greeting by the host, prompt seating, clean dishes and utensils being promptly swapped, water glasses being refreshed, and to the friendly waiter with excellent recommendations. It couldn't have been a better experience for my family and I. Thank you so much! We will visit again and tell everyone about Daughter Thai Kitchen.
Their food is really great. At first I was worried about the price but when they explained the $25 deal came with soup, two appetizers, and an entree I realized how great of a deal it was. The food felt very authentic and had a lot of different flavors. This is the best Thai food I have ever had.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Daughters Thai, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff went above and beyond with their customer service, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout my visit. The menu offered a fantastic variety of authentic Thai dishes, all bursting with flavor. Each dish was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. I particularly enjoyed [insert your favorite dish here], which was a delightful blend of spices and fresh ingredients. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional customer service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable. They took the time to answer my questions and offer recommendations, which made my meal even more enjoyable. Overall, Daughters Thai is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious Thai cuisine paired with excellent service. I can't wait to return and try more dishes
I’m primarily a pickup/delivery customer, but throwing out there this is my favorite Thai restaurant by a large margin. The balance of California style / taking a little license with the menu to meet local preferences (vs. “traditional”), not being greasy, value, and efficiency - they’re fast - is just right. It’s an incredibly well run business to the point where I’d actually like another great restaurant to open in Montclair (Oakland), but I’m skeptical they’ll be able to compete.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved my experience at Daughter Thai Kitchen. The food was flavorful, well-balanced, and clearly made with care—every bite hit. Portions were generous, ingredients felt fresh, and the presentation was on point. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was warm, modern, and inviting—perfect for a relaxed meal or a night out. This spot delivers on food, service, and vibe. Definitely coming back and highly recommend. 🍜✨
We came here after doing Glowfari at the Zoo and it was perfect - warm and cozy after being out in the cold! We had the Roti Mataba, Yellow Curry, and Pad Thai and all were very generous portions with a lot of chicken. Everything was super flavorful- easily one of the best yellow curries I’ve ever had. Service was top notch too - we will be back! We also loved the animal crossing videos playing on the TV in the entry area - so cute!
I enjoyed dining at Daughter Thai Kitchen in Oakland. The Ahi Scoops (sesame-crusted, seared ahi) were a standout: crispy outside, tender inside, super tasty. Most dishes were solid. The papaya salad was a bit too salty and sour for me. Prices run on the high side, but the quality shows. Overall, an easy 5 stars.
Absolutely authentic and spicy!!! I ordered their house special fish curry with noodle and fried pork belly, it’s sooooooo good!!! Spiciness 20/10 lol. Fish is fresh and tasty, pork belly is crispy and tender!! Service is good and smooth, it’s a Monday so it’s kinda slow, I can get a middle of the room seat.
I was very intrigued by the Thai michelada and it delivered! Add the prawn and pork belly… it’s a whole appetizer all in one. I also got a cocktail flight. Soooo pretty! Service was awesome. The rest of the dinner was absolutely delicious. Staff were super friendly. Very impressed and will be back. Great first date dinner spot in case anyone needs an idea for a location.
This restaurant takes customer service personally. I like the attention to detail inside their restaurant. The food is always fresh and tasty. Their presentation stands out for a classy style, furthering the effort made by their entire staff to make every visit special. I keep coming back for more and find myself excited to find a new dining experience here.
This place is really cute and most importantly the food is delicious. It is our second time coming and the service was great, while getting our plates in a timely manner. We ordered family style so that our friends could try different dishes and we enjoyed them all. Papaya salad (top liked ) Chicken pad Thai Red chicken curry/ side coconut rice Pineapple fried rice (top liked ) Samosas Seua Rhong Haii Anchan limeade

A gem of a place. Authentic with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend. They have Lao style food. Our family loves authentic Thai and Lao. We will be back for sure
Fun spot with delicious food served quickly! My party had fried chicken, red curry, and thai fried rice with shrimp, all were delicious and the servers so nice.

Yumm it was good! Don’t expect traditional Thai food, but it was good. We came on a Friday night. Be sure to make reservations as this place is packed. I liked the Hat Yai Fried Chicken and Papaya Salad the most. The Quinoa Salad was great; very nice textures in this one. We also got the Pad Kee Mow which was alright, but didn’t have quite the same impact. Overall a great experience. Great staff as well. It’s on the expensive side but is worth a visit.
Great food and beautiful ambience. All the staff were kind and professional. I really think yhe atmospehe and design of the resturant is what makes it. I liked the spicy food but I felt it was overpriced. Plus a little close together so if a med student next to you wants to loudly talk to her friend about how she's a med student you will be sure to not be able to get away.
Great place for family style dining. We ordered a variety of dishes that were packed full of flavors. Some were spicy, some were fatty and fried, others were cooked to perfection. All in all, we had 6 different dishes and they all shined in their own way. Beers are over priced, but that seems to be the trend everywhere in the Bay area.
Such a charming location for this modern take on Thai food. Ordered the lunch weekday pre fixe for $27 which includes Tom yum veggie soup, one entree and two appetizers. I chose the mieng kum kung (tiger prawn wrap in a lettuce with a coconut peanuts mixture), Thai fish cake, and pad see you noodles with chicken. Beautiful presentation and delicious with great depths of flavor & texture. Expensive lunch for the portions, but it's lunch and the venue is so lovely!!
Place is very nice. Great decor and atmosphere. Food was lovely and good customer service. Was upset at the thai tea because it looks cute and cool but in reality 4 gulps and it's gone because of the MASSIVE amount of ice they add for the unique look and no refills go figure. A little pricey so I probably wont be back but nice to try at least once.
Great atmosphere, service and food. We ordered yellow curry, crispy chicken tacos and samosas. The flavor was great and the only reason I'm deducting 1 star is because the potatoes and carrots in the curry were a bit undercooked for our taste. Overall highly recommend! Very cool place!
Staples of the farmhouse family if restaurants with the quality and flavor you expect. The little lao platter is a great way to try all their fan favorites, it was nice they had this as a Friday evening option. Unfortunately our short rib was a bit tough/dry which is unusual, the rest of the food was on point and staff are generally attentive and friendly. A must try if you're in the area.
Sister restaurant of Farmhouse Thai in SF. Exactly the same menu, but much better location in my opinion. Portions are HUGE. Order accordingly. 24 hour beef noodle soup is fall off the bone good. Thai sausage appetizer with sticky rice always. Crab fried rice with a decent amount of crab! CROISSANT bread pudding that jiggles. Honey lavender milk to calm your soul! The only thing I didn't like was how close my table was to our neighbors.
Good food, on the pricey side. Family-friendly. Beware of the parking scam. The Good: --High-end Thai, with tasty curries, noodle dishes and specials. -- Attentive and friendly staff. --Chicken Pad Thai comes in at about $23, specials are $35 and up. --Good cocktails, a short but adequate beer list -- if you're in the mood to throw caution to the wind there's the Phuket IPA. The Bad: -- Seems a little expensive, about 20 percent more than we expected. --Family-friendly so be prepared for some noise. --The green curry was described as medium-hot, we found it to be really spicy-hot, to the point of not wanting to finish the dish. --The parking lot has meters, which you might be inclined to disregard when you pull in past 6 p.m. on a weekend. If you don't feed the meter -- and why would you? -- you'll find a "ticket" on your windshield for another $30. We chose to ignore it, as restaurants have no jurisdiction in terms of parking enforcement. Overall: Good-quality Thai food at a bit of a premium price. The parking surcharge / penalty is enough to remove a star and make us look elsewhere next time.
Had a really lovely time, the service was impeccable and we really appreciated that there were so many vegetarian options. My only complaint is that the price is a little high for some of the portion sizes. $17 for 4 egg rolls (8 halves) is pretty steep. They did also come with a ton of the peanut sauce, which we enjoyed with our main meal. By comparison, the Pad See Yew was a huge portion for $20, which I felt was a very good value. I also wish the curry came with rice. However, the ambiance and attentive staff more than makes up for the portioning issue and I will definitely be back!
We had a reservation because I heard it gets packed here. I'm glad we did because we were sat right away with a complete party. I offered the elderberry spritzer... so delicious. We had the samosa and that was okay but I'm not a huge fan of the flakey crust. Everything else was so good. Papaya salad was amazing, unfortunately you can't request the spice level and it was spicy. Pad Thai.. super, especially the tofu. Will definitely be back again. The ambiance was a bit romantic! Lights dimmed... even though there were kids, it was not loud.
I’ve been here before, and wow, the food is absolutely amazing! My wife and I went family style, and we tried the Pad Kee Mow. It wasn’t as spicy as we were hoping, but the flavors were still fantastic. Then, we had the Betong Massaman, which is short rib in massaman curry. The curry was spot-on! It was rich and flavorful, and it really complemented the short rib, potatoes, and yellow rice perfectly. The atmosphere was great, making it perfect for a date night or a get-together with family and friends. We had 10 friends with us, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food is a bit pricier than some other Thai spots around here, but it totally worth it with all the amazing flavors in each dish. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try! I’d give it an 8/10.
This is a favorite dining place among the locals. I came here for dinner, unfortunately alone, otherwise this would be a great spot to share family style and try different dishes. I got there their version of the Pad Thai. It was delicious. They get crowded in the evenings. Parking is paid and somewhat difficult to find.
Ordered a pad see Ew and Pad kee mao. Both tasted good, but costed close $50 for 2 dishes which is pretty expensive! The parking in front of the restaurant is not free.

Fake flowers Won’t return. We dined outside by the curb, which is a mistake - it’s an active street. Service is good but the food is less desirable - Thai beer is good - Shiraz Grenache is good - The appetizer beef is good, so is - fried chicken is terrible - sizzling seafood is good … Metered parking lot. Sales tax is 10%+
This place is owned by the same owners as the farmhouse kitchen in jack London square.. we are a regular at the farmhouse kitchen but this was our first time trying daughter thai.. The menu is almost exactly same as the farmhouse kitchen , so we decided to order the same things that we like at farmhouse, we ordered Papaya salad Wings Crab fried rice honestly I was a little disappointed with the food here, the papaya salad was super spicy and too tangy. The crab fried was dry and overcooked and the wings was average. The plates we chipped and the host was a bit rude.. this is the first and last time i will probably go here.. i will definitely choose farmhouse kitchen over this for everything food, service and the Ambiance.
I wanted to like it because it is so convenient but ultimately, many things were not to my liking. Price- The tab for the three of us was $121 not including tip. Food - good but extremely spicy even for this Asian without them asking how spicy we wanted. The Thai Chang beer was like a Coors lite. Seriously, what happened to Singhai? Atmosphere- they ready like their plastic flowers. They are en masse everywhere
I’ve been really excited to try Daughter Thai Kitchen, and Christmas lunch felt like the perfect time to bring my family. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with purple wisteria at the entrance, and the courtyard feels romantic and serene. Inside, the ambiance continues—very elegant and upscale, immediately giving the impression of a fine-dining Thai restaurant. Most dishes average around $35, including typical options like fried rice, stir-fried noodles, papaya salad, sweet and sour soup, and eggplant dishes. We ordered one of their specials, the Tsunami Lobster ($80), which was disappointingly small—not even a pound—and looked much larger in the photos. Unfortunately, it was definitely not worth the price. Our total came out to north of $300 for 6 dishes and 2 desserts, with the lobster being the most expensive item. For that price point, the value just wasn’t there for me. Overall, the food tasted average, similar to what you’d find at a typical Thai restaurant. The papaya salad was very basic and overly salty, and for the price I wish it included shrimp or fish. The fried rice was good, but beef is an extra charge and labeled as Wagyu—though it was really just thinly sliced beef. The soup was one of the better dishes: rich, coconut-forward, and filled with seafood. The pad kee mao noodles were just okay and lacked the wok-smoky flavor we were hoping for. The lobster dish was the biggest disappointment. The seafood was overcooked and dry, making it far from worth the cost. For dessert, the coconut vacation was overly sweet, but the mango sticky rice was done just right. Service was kind and efficient, and the atmosphere is lovely. Overall, this is a great spot for a romantic date or special occasion if you’re going for a Beautiful ambiance and a romantic setting, but for the price, the food didn’t quite match the experience.
I have loved the authentic flavors of daughter Thai. Their menu is excellent but sadly their prices seem to be a bit out of control. I paid $28 for a large tom kha soup earlier. No complaints about…

Great food. Fresh and delicious. I would give it five stars on food alone and only gave it two because of the rude service. We walked in at 8 o’clock and they said we close at 8:30 so if you want to eat here have to order right now. Ok. Fine. We accepted. And we ordered 2 min later. But. It’s not like we walked in at 8:25…. They brought everything at once and then hovered to clear as we just started eating at 8:15. Need boxes? Finished? Great food but so pricey and so rushed that won’t come back unless we eat at 5:30-6.
Overpriced Thai food ever eaten. Taste not so great to justify the price with soup, curry or pad Thai. All over spiced and a pushy waitress to send us home as early possible to give the table to some one else! Except the ambiance, nothing to go back to. Edited:- got a response from the owner that it must be busy and on a weekend. Don’t think he even read what I posted and the pictures. We are the only one at 5:30pm and the pictures show posted also shows the entire restaurant is empty on a Friday evening.
My cousin and I enjoyed our meal and the service but it ended on a sour note when we got our bill and asked to split it. The server responded with yes we can split it. The total bill was under $60 an…

Food is pretty good but the service is unfriendly and borderline rude. Asked for the kids special for our son who likes the kids chicken over rice. He’s very picky but he loves this dish. The waitress absolutely refused since he was a year older than what they consider the age limit . It was weird - We also explained that they could charge us anything they thought was appropriate. or even charge for two of the kids specials. Not many Thai places have things our 10 year old would eat, and that he would not eat anything else on the menu. There was zero understanding or trying to be helpful or being accommodating. In the end we got him something that he did not eat . Not to mention putting a dampener on the entire dinner. Super disappointing . Will not be returning here.
