It's a delicious mission burrito. The mole here is really unique, flavorful but not overly spicy or acidic. It's great with the chicken, but they have many veg options too. The orange sauce is legend, creamy and flavorful but again not overly spicy. Really well balanced.

Amazing fish burrito! Made in a white wine and butter sauce that makes this ultimately stand out. Got the super burrito too, which adds Guac, cheese, and sour cream. The salsa was also amazing. Not spicy, but super flavorful!

Very very good vegan options (not the mole). The vegan burritos we had were super delicious and we had quite a bit of choices of what to fill them with in terms of tofu and beans and rice and which tortilla we wanted them wrapped in. Their house salsa is to die for and comes with chips with the burrito and is only $1.50 if you want a second portion of chips and salsa. Highly recommend. Excellent vegan options!!

The food was great. You order at the counter and they bring it to you outside. There is only outdoor seating which is bar style and not individual tables. It can get a bit chilly out there. Probs better to take the food to go. Portions are good size. Price is reasonable.

This place was amazing! The only downside is that it was very small area and we had to wait to find a spot to eat inside. However, the food definitely made up for the small space. Price was reasonable for San Francisco. Parking is hard to find but I think that's a San Francisco problem in general and doesn't necessarily reflect the restaurant (just a random vent). But definitely would go again to this place.

Just grabbed a carne asada quesadilla for dine-in and a carne asada burrito to-go, but ended up with chicken in the burrito instead of that tasty grilled steak. 😩 Although a bit disappointed about the burrito mix-up, the quesadilla is genuinely delicious. I still recommend it 💖

Unreal how bad their uber delivery quality is. I ordered one of those “uber one” chicken burrito buy 1 get 1 deals from here, it was a bean and rice burrito with the SADDEST amount of chicken ever… can’t believe they let this go out the door… If you have to cut corners like that to offer a “deal”, then just don’t offer the deal?! I would have gladly paid full price for a real chicken burrito instead of the bait n switch! EDIT: Per owners comment on the protein, i’ve been reading other reviews, skimping on the protein is a common theme, so no, not just me, but thanks for the reply.

Really Disappointing. We've been fans of Papalote for years. This is the first order in several months and perhaps it was a bad night. Whatever, there were problems. Overall the food was meh. My memory is everything being flavorful. My Chile Verde burrito lacked flavor and frankly tasted watery. No chile flavor at all. The other order was Carne Asada Tacos. I added Rice and Beans for which I was charged $4.75 each. I was expecting side orders of each. No, apparently that was for the included rice and beans - see the photo. All in all it was the kind of visit that has totally put me off the place going forward. Try the food truck across the street instead.

The service was good enough and pleasant. The food was just OK, for a Taco Tuesday. 2 tacos for an average price. Not cheap, not expensive. The room's clientele was raucous and entitled. That is not the restaurants fault, but it adds to the experience.

Just went there with my family after I saw that he has a good reviews on Yelp honestly I do not know how come this place has more than one star It’s overpriced compared to any other Taqueria on the mission we ordered 2 burrito bowls one with shrimp and one with chicken and two tacos. The girl that takes orders is extremely impolite and rude while taking orders, the food itself is tasteless beans and rice tasted like caned food, the bowl had 90% lettuce and a sprinkle of protein. We payed 61$ for 2bowls and 2 tacos Not talking about the place itself, flies all over. Not a role and I would never come back
